Raine was standing in a corner when she heard her cousins bike outside. She could smell him before he even got inside the house. When he stood by her side, joking about Arkan not being there she did hit out after him, but as usual he managed to lower his head before she could hit him. "I dont really know why Arkan isnt here, i guess he isnt much for parties." Raine said and suddenly Jay dragged her outside talking about no one talking to her. She looked at him untill he finished speaking and thought for a while. "Well if i dont show you no one will talk to me, but if im there they can talk to me if they want. Dont worry so much, its my life, and i should be the one worrying when you go around driving that killing machine all the time." Raine said and looked at Jay. His worrying was beginning to worry her, soon he would be asking why she allways was so cold, why she had the skin colour of a corpse and why her looks hadnt changed since she had found him years ago when he was only a kid. She decided to not let him ask those questions now and walked fastly into the house again and into the hallway and half up the stairs and sat down there.

Bella scratched the side of her neck as she waited for the small moment of silence that occurred after she spoke to Ronnie. She looked at the envelope for a moment as Ronnie held it out and after a few seconds of debate she stuck her hand out to take the envelope, " We will talk Ronnie," She gave with a small nod as a promise for the future, just not tonight. She scanned her eyes back over to where Jasper was to make sure that too many people wouldn't get upset by her presence. Bella placed the envelope under her arm as she watched Ronnie walk away. Bella looked to Esme, " Was I wrong in saying that?". If there was anyone that she trusted on this matter, it was Esme. Afterall, Esme was the person that she was trying to mirror in this situation.
Bella looked down to open her envelope as she read the letter. She took a deep breath and sighed as she finished reading over the letter and placing it back underneath her arm. If she was going to give Ronnie a chance to explain herself, she knew that it was going to take patience and understanding on her part. For tonight, she wanted to celebrate with her family and enjoy the fact that Jasper appeared to be more comfortable in spending time with his family; or at least going out of his way to try and show an effort. Bella was slightly startled by Edward's sudden presence by her side. Her mind had been so occupied that she hadn't noticed his scent when he entered. Bella smiled brightly as he came near her, " You're right on time," She smiled as she looked up to kiss his cheek. She licked her lips as she decided how to approach his question of what was going on. She knew that she needed to talk to him about Ronnie, about her decision to at least her out. In Bella's mind, just because she had agreed to talk to Ronnie, didn't mean that she was forgiving her. But she also didn't want to ruin his night. Bella knew that he would spend the rest of the evening worrying about Jasper, and that it would be counterproductive to what Jasper was doing that evening, so she decided to avoid it for now and speak to him about it later in private, "Just the party of the decade apparently, Alice really outdid herself," Bella smiled at Edward and lowered her hand to her side and intertwined her fingers around his before she looked back at Esme.

As Jasper watched from the sidelines of the party as the living room filled with more guest. He could also feel Ryssa’s irritation growing. Jasper had a feeling that she hated crowds more then he did which led him to wonder why Ryssa was even at the party. He glanced at her and could see that her arms were crossed over her chest as she impatiently tapped her foot watching the others. Jasper looked back to the party and wondered how long the party would last and who else would be attending. He glanced over at Ryssa again out of habit and Ryssa met his eyes this time asking, “What are you staring at blondie?” Jasper arched a brow as he felt no fear or any remorse within Ryssa. He was somewhat impressed with that fact, “Wondering why you are here when you obviously hate it.”
The red head smirked over at him commenting, “Here I was thinking you weren’t here to talk.” Jasper shook his head, “I’m not.” Jasper went back to the previous silence and rested one of his hands instinctively on the saber hilt resting at his waist. After several long moments of continued silence Jasper turned his head again to see Rosalie crossing over towards him. Just before his twin reached him he heard Ryssa say, “See you later blondie.” Rosalie reached him a few seconds later and greeted him and complimented his costume choice. Jasper smiled and touched the tip of his hat with two of his fingers as he simultaneously bowed his head. He allowed his Southern tilt to return to his voice, “M’am.” Jasper chuckled a little and returned to his usual speech, “Thank you Rose.”

Ryssa was trying to force herself to relax despite the growing number of others at the party. She could feel herself getting irritated and edgy and she hated the fact that she was not in more control. ‘It is just people get a grip woman.’ Ryssa watched the party grow and noticed that Nathaniel had been speaking to two young wolves, but now there was only one. She then saw a few of the Cullen women standing together, including Bella. She considered going over but others joined the circle and Ryssa was not in the right mood to be around a group. Ryssa felt someone watching her and she turned to see that it was Jasper. She arched a brow without biting back her usual agitated self, “What are you staring at blondie?” He did not seemed to be extremely pleased by her question, but he did not seem as angry as she would have expected. “Wondering why you are here when you obviously hate it.” Ryssa then wondered why he was wanting to talk now, and knew that she wanted to leave soon. “Here I was thinking you weren’t here to talk.”
Ryssa felt a smirk plainly on her face as he said that he was not there to talk. They settled back into silence which was fine for Ryssa she turned back to watching the party evolve. Ryssa noticed that the other Cullen that she had yet to meet approaching her general area. She knew that the woman was not coming over to talk with her, but Ryssa was looking for a reason to leave, “See you later blondie.” Ryssa then made her way towards the door and felt her mood immediately lighten the further she was from the Cullen house.

Rosalie smiled as Jasper bowed to her in his southern manner that she had not seen in decades. The party had really brought back things from his past. She giggled when he said "M'am". She instantly curtsied. "Hello, good sir." She responded to him. She was happy to see that he was trying to have a good time at the party. She knew that it was not easy for him to be there around so many people.
When he thanked her, she tilted her head slightly at him. "Why are you thanking me now, Jasper?" She asked him. She knew that she really had not done much with him lately, since Emmett's return. She had been occupied with catching up with him, but tonight she was going to spent time with her twin. It was a party and she was going to enjoy it. She looked around the room and knew that Emmett was not there yet. She wondered where he was, but was not worried about him. She spotted the rest of their family. "Should we join the rest of the family, or shall we dance?" She asked him.

Edward smiled when Bella said that he was right on time. He kissed her cheek, when she kissed him and looked down at her. When she took his hand, he squeezed hers slightly. Edward loved being with Bella and loved her costume, though he wanted to take her to the cottage and take it off of her. He knew that he would have time for that later.
Edward smiled down at her and pulled her into his arms and gave her a proper kiss. He was not concerned with anyone that was around. When he released her, he smiled at her in that crocked smile of his. "Shall we spin around the dance floor, Mrs. Cullen?" He asked her as his gently lifted their hands and pulled toward the dance floor in the living room.

Lexi knew that with Halloween here, the Cullen's would be throwing one of Alice's favorite parties. She was excited to see all of them again and was rushing to get dressed in her room, before driving to the party. She would take the truck, so that she did not mess up her costume. She hoped that Sasha would meet her there and that everyone would get along. She slipped into her costume and did a final check in the mirrow. She knew that he was going to go crazy over her costume, but she was not concerned with it. Lexi grabbed her phone and keys off her night stand and headed out the door. She drove to the Cullen mansion and sent Sasha a text on her way. "Sasha love, I am going to a party tonight. Join me there if you want to. I have included the address for you. -Love, Lexi."She closed her phone as she turned on the Cullen's driveway. She parked the truck with the rest of the vehicle's and walked in through the open door. She saw several of the Cullen's in attenance and smiles to each of them. It had been years since she saw most of them. Lexi walked over to Esme and smiled. "Hello Esme, it is nice to see you again." She said to her. Lexi almost hugged her but was not sure how Esme would react to that. Lexi's Costume

Vladamir was in the tree line's watching the Cullen house. He was waiting for the right time to attack the Blonde female. He had been watching her for weeks now and none of them even knew that he was there. He figured that if that was the case, it would be easy to get her alone, but she was always with the other's. He would have to attack when it was just two of them. If he could divided them, he could kill them all.
Vladamir watched as human's and something else entered the house. He wondered how they could stand to be around human's with out killing them. The only reason that he had not killed Lexi, was to use her against them. Now he was going to have to do that his self. As he watched he thought about his course of action and tried to work out the details. He knew that the twin's would fight with him, if he let them. They were old enough and big enough now to fight. He knew that he would have to get around all the others in the Cullen family and there friends.

Arkan took forever getting dress for the party. He knew that Raine wanted him there and that all the Cullen's would be there. Arkan was not one for parties. He had never been one for crowds. He finally finished getting dressed and went to the mansion. He could tell that there was already a lot of people there. He walked in to the living room and looked for Raine. He spotted her and started making his way to her. When he finally reached her, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her. "I am sorry that I was not here sooner, Raine. I was trying to decide if I was even going to come." He said to her as he released all but her hand. "I love your outfit." He whispered to her. He hoped that she would like his too. He was not sure about a costume party. He had never gone to one before. Arkan's Costume

Just before Alice could reach Bella to introduce her to Elena, she saw that her other brother and sister had shown up as well. The only ones missing now was Emmett and Carlisle, but she wasn't sure that her adoptive father would make it to the party because of his long hours at the hospital. She heard her brother ask Bella to dance and knew that timing was completely awful on her part to try and introduce Elena to her family. It would be rude to interrupt her brother's dance with her sister, so she turned around to Elena. "I aplogize," she said. "It seems that my brother has already captured my sister's attention for the time being. Edward just arrived and has already asked her to dance." Alice knew that it would be a while before her siblings left the dance floor. However, she knew that she could still introduce Elena to Esme.
Walking over to Esme, hoping that Elena was still following her, she smiled at her adoptive mother. "Esme, I have someone that is wanting to meet the family," she began, turning to the side to reveal Elena. "This is Elena. She's new to Forks." Turning back to Elena, she smiled and said, "Elena, this is my mother Esme." Alice knew that Elena would adore Esme, as did most everyone else in the world. Esme was just one of those people you couldn't help but love as she had this compassion and intense love for everyone else, especially those in her family. For a few moments, Alice's eyes wandered the party. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, which made her happy. Rosalie had commandeered Jasper's attention completely, but she looked away and shook her head to keep her thoughts off of it so Edward wouldn't be alerted. Turning back to Elena and Esme, she pushed all thoughts of anything previous away.

Post by Savannah Taylor on Nov 5, 2009 13:51:29 GMT -5
Savannah stood before her mirror, checking her dress for the fifth time within the last thirty minutes. After making sure it was right, she fixed her hair one last time before heading out the door. She had only just moved to this little town called Forks, but had heard of a Halloween party at the fanciest house in town for all the high school kids, so she figured she would make a splash and introduce herself there rather than just waiting for school Monday morning. Plus, she knew that her cousin was going to be there. If she knew Katelyn, which she did, she would never miss the party of the semester...especially a costume party. Even Katelyn had no idea that she had moved to Forks because of her dad getting a huge business deal for the entire Washington area...so she was aiming to surprise her. Following the directions she found on one of the flyers she saw, she drove to the outskirts of Forks where she found the house that the party was at, finding that it was literally a mansion instead of a house. These Cullens are apparently the shiz, she thought to herself as she stepped out of her car and threw her keys into her wristlet. Walking into the party, she couldn't help but laugh as she was dressed as Juliet from Shakespeare's greatest play. Katelyn was going to have a fit, but she couldn't wait to see her cousin. They hadn't seen one another in nearly a year, so she was excited. Walking through the doors, she saw how insanely decorated the house was and knew that this party was serious business. Within five minutes, she spotted her cousin dressed as Marilyn Monroe standing near a cowboy and an Indian princess, so she ran over to put her hands over Katelyn's eyes. "Guess who!" she said happily. Savannah's costume: www.mypromstyle.com/img/uploaded/THUMB-Love-Story-Baker-2810-RT-8-15-08-cropped-2-41-mb-fb_1228753721.jpg

Wesley kissed Jordan’s cheek and laughed when she asked what had taken him so long. “Well missy,” Wesley paused to kiss Jordan’s cheek again, “I have been here almost since the party began, so I think you are the late one.” Wesley loosened his arms from around Jordan so that he could walk around her to face her, before settling his arms back into place. “You look very handsome.” He straightened his arms and looked down at the costume that Jordan had on. “Well you are the best looking Dorthy I have every seen.”
Wesley took one arm from around Jordan’s waist so that he could gently tilt her chin up. As he stared into Jordan’s eyes he wondered to himself how he was able to live his life to the fullest without her. Wesley remembered when he had first laid eyes on Jordan at Jacob’s house. It was like a veil had been lifted and what mattered the most was standing right before him. Wesley grinned a little and leaned in for a precious kiss from his mate.

William and the girl that he had been standing on the porch for only a few more moments when someone came to the door and let them in. It was already hopping when William walked in and looked around at the others that had gathered. He wondered for several moments more about his reasoning for coming to the illusive Cullen Mansion. William had been in Forks for a few weeks, and he had not met many others outside of the group from work. William walked through the fairly empty dance floor where he could see the refreshment table. He had been at the party for sometime when someone put their hands over his eyes saying, “Guess who!”
William frowned for a second and put his hands over the hands on his eyes. He realized that it was a girl from her voice and hands and it took another second to realize that it was Vanessa. William grinned and gently pulled her hands away from his eyes and turned saying, “Hmmm.” He laughed a little when he turned to see that his mental guess was correct, “Hey haven’t seen you in awhile, how’s it going?”

Post by Esme Cullen on Nov 5, 2009 19:19:42 GMT -5
Esme patiently watched as Bella did her best to explain her side of the situation. She knew that Ronnie most likely just wanted to explain herself, and hopefully prove that she was not like her sister. Esme could also understand the fact that they were in swing for a Halloween party, and now would not be an appropriate time to talk about what had happened with Lexie. Ronnie walked away a few moments later and Bella turned to Esme asking if she had been right in saying what she had. Esme did her best to comfort Bella and rested a hand on Bella’s head and sighed, “You did the best that anyone of us could have done in the situation.” Esme dropped her hand and gave Bella a faint smile, “Considering the situation you acted with remarkable grace and dignity.”
Esme could empathize what Bella was having to deal with. In a way Bella was the head of her own family and with that came responsibilities that were not always pleasant. Esme could see that Bella was distracted and did not seem to notice that Edward had entered the room. She smiled lightly to herself as she watched Edward and Bella, they truly were made for each other. Bella turned to her at one point to which Esme gave an encouraging smile. A second later Edward escorted Bella out onto the dance floor. Instinctively Esme put a hand over her heart, smiling at the pair. Esme was content to see that her family was enjoying themselves at the party, Alice had worked so hard for. She turned to see a face that she had not seen in some time and smiled at Lexi.
“Its good to see you as well Lexie, how have you been?” Before Lexi received much of a chance to respond Alice approached them with a new guest. Esme smiled at the woman that Alice introduce, “Hello Elena, it is very nice to meet you.” Esme pointed to Lexie introducing her, “And this here is Lexie, a very good friend of the family.”

Emmett knew that he was more then late to the Halloween party that Alice had put together. What he also knew was that his main reason to go to the party would also be late. Emmett smiled as he thought of Rosalie; she was his world as if he could not have enough of her before. When he had left to find the doctors, it had bothered him deeply to leave Rosalie. However Emmett knew that she would not be alone and that she had Jasper which had soothed his conscious. Emmett smirked at his reflection in the mirror and knew that there was some irony to his costume. He also realized that he probably wasn’t going to match Rosalie, which would not bother him in the least. As he thought of Rosalie he again felt compelled to rush downstairs to find his wife. Emmett was finally satisfied and impatient enough to rush down stairs to the living room. He reached the bottom of the steps and quickly scanned the party to see Rosalie standing off to the edge of the party with Jasper. Emmett approached the two and once he reached them he couldn’t help but laugh at Jasper’s costume. He grinned at his brother while slipping an arm around Rosalie, “Hey man you look really familiar in that uniform.” Jasper quietly grinned and shook his head, seemingly appearing to get the joking manner. Emmett kissed the side of Rosalie’s face. He took a moment to study her costume and knew that if they were left along for too long then Emmett wouldn’t want to stay at the party too much longer.
