Lexi was talking with Raine and Arkan when Edward and Bella walked up to them. She was just about to say hello to them when Esme, Rosalie and Jasper all walked up to. Lexi smiled at all of them, but Jasper and Esme were off on the dance floor in a matter of seconds. Lexi was glad to see the Cullen's again. She as especially happy to see Bella. When Edward and Rosalie both greeted her, she smiled at them both. "Hello to you too. I am glad to be home and thank you." She said to them. She then moved to Bella's side and reached out to hug her. "I am glad to see you again, my old friend." Lexi said to Bella as she hugged her. Lexi had missed the conversations that she used to have with Bella when she was still human and hanging out in LaPush. Even after Bella had been turned they had still been close, but Lexi had left shortly after that and had missed her friend. She hoped that they could be as close as they used to be again. Lexi needed her friends in her life now.

Raine sat there and listened to them all speaking, it was nice having the family gathered, also with their friends. Raine smiled to Jasper and Rosalie as they came over to join them.
”So Raine and Arkan, do you enjoy your long honeymoon. Raine you must come up to the mansion and tell me all about it soon. We have miss you both while you were away.” Raine felt something weird inside her. Rosalie hadnt been too friendly to Raine, and Raine had allways thought that Rosalie didnt want to accept Raine as a part of the family. Raine was gonna be polite untill she knew exactly if Rosalie was really interested in getting to know Raine really. "Hey Rosalie, sure ill come up and tell you all about it, but i dont think itl be much to tell since you of all must know all about honeymoons." Raine said and referred to the fact that Rosalie and Emmett had been on alot of honeymoons in the years they had been together. Raine looked around, she hadnt seen Carlisle for quite some time now, and Emmett too, he hadnt even been there when they announced that she and Arkan got married, and she missed him alot. Emmett had been one of the few of the Cullens to really accept Raine, and she loved him for it, they allways knew how to have fun, and she remembered that winter day when they told each other their histories.
Raine suddenly felt like everything was over crowded and stood up. She started walking across the dance floor and stopped in the far end of the party near a food stand. She found a sidewalk and sat down with her head in her hands.

Alice wandered off to the side of the dance floor and watched the crowds with amusement. Everyone was dancing and having a good time, so the atmosphere was euphoric. She watched a younger couple, maybe just a few years younger than she was...at least physically...dancing on the floor. One was obviously what they would call a cowboy and the other was a caramel-skinned beauty. They were an adorable couple and from what Alice could tell, they were perfect for each other. Alice smiled and looked away, giving them their privacy and looked around to the other people on the dance floor as the song changed.
She caught sight of Jasper dancing with Esme and it made her heart warm a little to see him dancing with their mother. Esme had always loved each of them as dearly as if they were her own birth children. Alice had never known a real mother until she came to live with the Cullens and Esme was the first to give her that motherly love. She made a mental note to spend some time with Esme later and perhaps take her shopping for some new decorations for the mansion, knowing she would like that. Looking away again, Alice stared at her shoes for a few moments before looking another direction to some other couples out on the dance floor. This was almost the perfect night.

Edward watched as the Esme, Rosalie, and Jasper all walked over to where they were standing and as Jasper lead Esme out onto the dance floor. He was glad that Jasper was dancing with Esme. She needed to know that he was going to be fine. Esme worried about them, like any mother would worry about her children. Edward then turned back to the conversation as Rose started talking to Raine. Edward was glad to see that Rose was finally starting to warm up to Raine. He knew that as they were the royal family, Rose was going to have to get used to have other vampire's besides just the immediate family around. Rose was not one that warmed up to others quickly and he knew that as well. He then watched as Raine walked away and across the dance floor. He hoped that she was alright. "Arkan, I hope that we did not hurt her feelings some how." Edward said to his cousin.
As Edward continued to stand with his arms around Bella, he noticed that Alice was on the side of the dance floor and was not dancing with Nate any longer. "Bella love, I am going to dance one dance with Alice and possible one with Esme and then we will leave and go to the meadow, like you wanted to." He whispered softly into her ear as his lightly kissed it. Edward left her and walked over to where Alice was standing. Stretching out his hand, he bowed slightly, and asked, "May I have this dance, my darling little sister?"

Rose listened as Raine took her up on her offer to come to the mansion and tell her all about the honeymoon. Rose knew that she had not been that inviting to Raine in the past and she was trying to change that. Rose knew that she could be a bitch at times and that Raine was family in a way now. When Raine mentioned Rose knowing all about honeymoons, Rose laughed slightly. "That is true, I have been on a few over the years." Rose said lightly heartedly, thinking of Emmett. When Raine stood and walked away, Rose hoped that she had not hurt Raine's feeling in anyway. "Did I say something wrong, Arkan?" Rose said as she turned to their cousin.

Arkan watched as others from the family joined them around the table and began to talke to him and Raine. He had stayed rather quiet and let Raine do all the talking. He was glad to see that the family was calming back down now that a few unfortunate things had been taken care of. He was also glad that the family was accepting Raine. Arkan had decided to remain close to the Cullen's but to be their cousin and not their brother, even though Carlisle was his creator. Arkan knew that bothered Raine to some degree, but he hoped that she understood why he felt that way.
When Rose spoke to Raine, Arkan was glad that she was warming up to Raine finally. Raine seemed to want to be close to the Cullen's. When Raine answered Rose, Arkan could tell that something was wrong, but he was not sure what it was. After Raine walked away from the group, Arkan heard Edward and Rosalie ask about her. "I am not sure what is wrong. If you will excuse me, I will go and find out." Arkan said as he started to follow Raine across the dance floor.
When Arkan got to the sidewalk on the other side where Raine was sitting with her head in her hands. He quickly sat down beside her and wrapped her in his arms. "What is wrong, my love?" He whispered into her ear. Raine was his one and only concern in life. He would give her the world to make her happy. He was not sure why she was upset when they were at a party and should be celebrating.

Raine was sitting on the sidewalk breathing slowly.
She was thinking about her past, and how much her life had changed since she came to Forks. She smiled to herself, its had all changed to the better. Raine knew that it was hard for Rosalie to warm up to new comers, and she knew that she was trying to, by inviting Raine to the mansion and talk. Raine smelled her dear husbond coming over to her and sit down next to her. When he wrapped his arms around her she leaned her head into him.
" Nothing is wrong mon ange, i just felt over crowded for a bit so i walked out here to breathe and think. Being as old as i am i should be used to being around so many humans, but im not, their blood still tingle and seduce my nose, but im used to it. And i was thinking about my past and how much it had changed since i came here, all for the better." Raine said and smiled. She did tell him the truth, for once in her life, nothing at all bothered her, and she was completely happy.

Maden had been hiding in the forest around the Cullen mansion.
Things had been hectic around since Jasper was found and came back.
He missed his new mom and he missed his dad, he hadnt seen them for a while now and decided to go to the party in Forks.
He arrived and looked around for his family, but couldnt see them, so he smelled his way to them.
He cought the smell of them and started walking towards them and saw them sitting by a table with some people he didnt know, humans wolves and vampires all gathered.
He walked over to them and he found his mother and gave her a big hug.
"Hi everyone, hi mom, i missed you, and sorry for being away from the mansion for a while. Have you seen dad lately, he has been away for quite some time now." Maden asked and sat down at the table looking at everyone.

Rosalie caught a familar scent in the air, though is was one of the scents she loved is was not the one that she wanted to smell more than any other. She knew that she son was on his way and that he would want to know where his dad was. Just then Maden walked up and gave her a hug. She hugged her son back. She loved him more than if he were biological hers. Rosalie had always wanted a child to love and now she had one.
When he asked about Emmett, she did not know what to tell him, so she told him the truth. "I have not seen or talked to Emmett in a long time. Truthfully son, I am starting to get worried about him. It is not like him to be gone so long with out at least calling me." Rosalie said to Maden as she looked at him. He had grown again and was almost a man now. Rosalie knew that it would not be to much longer before, he was grown and ready to live his own life, though he had pretty much been doing that already.
Rosalie thought about those that were at the table that would not know Maden and turned with her arm around his shoulders to introduce him. "Maden I want you to meet an old friend of the family. Maden this is Lexi, Lexi this is my son Maden." She said gesturing to Lexi at the table. "Lexi is a member of Jacob's tribe at the reservation." Rosalie said to Maden so that he would know how she fit into the picture. She knew that Maden would know that meant that she was a wolf and a member of the pack, though she was sure that Maden could smell her.

Lexi watched as a young halfling walked up to the table and called Rosalie mom. That surprised her, but then she remembered Nessie and all was fine. She did wonder how he could be Rosalie's but was not going to be rude enough to ask. When Rosalie turned to introduce him to her, she smiled and held out her hand. "Hello Maden, it is nice to meet you." She said to him politely. Lexi did not have a problem with the vampires any more than she did any one else. She had become accustom to them years ago.
Lexi then turned the Edward and Bella. "I will have to come by the cottage soon so that we can catch up, but I have to go now. My shift will start soon." She said knowing that they would know what she meant. "Tell Raine and the other's that it was nice to meet them and I hope to see them soon." She said as she stood to leave. She knew that Jake would be mad if she was late to start patrol. "Bye everyone." She said as she left the table and walked back to the woods where she striped and phased in a matter of seconds. She was at a full run and on she way back to the reservation in no time.

While watching everyone else dance, Alice's mind flashed with a quick vision and she smiled brightly. Her favorite brother in the world was going to ask her to dance and that made her happy because she had not been able to spend any real time with Edward since Jasper's return from Florida. Things had just been slightly awkward for her as she sorted through all of her emotions, thoughts, and feelings about the entire situation. She had decided that, for the time being, she was just going to put things behind her and focus on the now. There would be another time to deal with the past and current issues, but tonight was about having fun.
Her smile brightened as Edward approached her and extended his hand for her, asking her to dance in a formal manner. "Of course you may," she replied and slid her hand into his as they walked toward the dance floor. "I was wondering if anyone was ever going to be able to pry you from Bella tonight since you two hardly ever are out of touching range of one another." Alice giggled as she started to dance with her brother. It felt good to be near her favorite brother for the first time in a while. As she took all of it in, she wondered if things would ever begin to get back to normal, but shielded her thoughts from Edward by thinking through some shopping she wanted to get done for Alicia.

Nathaniel continued to watch the party in silence from his place on the side of the dance floor. He recognized a girl he had seen months before named Lucy dancing with a young man her age. Nathaniel then noticed Katelyn who had been left alone on the dance floor and as he looked around at the others that had gathered. He recognized from Nessie’s memories the gentlemen known to be Jasper was dancing with another slightly familiar face and the matriarch of the Cullen family, Esme.
Nathaniel watched as he saw the Cullen family gather with what must have been family friends on the opposite side of the dance floor. He sighed to himself as peace finally arrived in the small town of Forks. Nathaniel got to his feet after looking around the party with a smile that life had turned around for the overstressed Cullens. He walked until there was enough distance between himself and the party before running back to the hotel room that he had rented.

Jasper could feel how joyful Esme was. That was something he was extremely grateful for, was how simple it was to please Esme. After all the time that he had known her Esme had amazed him with her simplistic joy and her willingness to please others. His beginning time as a vampire in the south had been filled with war and violence and it still amazed him how serene the women in his life were. Alice had brought him peace in a lifetime of war, Rosalie had been a rock in his life, and Esme had been the caring and always loving mother figure.
Jasper smiled at Esme and when she hugged him after he said, “Thanks mom.” Jasper held onto her a little longer as the second song could be heard coming to a close. The song was kicking up for the final time and Jasper spun Esme under his arm twice before dipping her and pulling her back in to finish the song. Jasper openly smiled as Esme’s beautiful laugh could be easily heard across the dance floor. As the song came to an end a few moments later, Jasper bowed to Esme and kissed the top of her hand. “I would love to dance once more but I think that Rose and I are going to be going home soon.” Esme nodded with a small smile showing that she understood and she hooked her arm through his as they walked back to where the family was gathered.

Esme was completely enthralled with dancing with Jasper. The only thing that could make that night possibly better was if Carlisle would come to the party, and she also noticed that Emmett had been absent for sometime as well. With the way things had been for the family she could blame Emmett if he had backed away from the house for a little time to back away from the troubles. She was just extremely anxious now to have the rest of her family home and to have things get back to the way that they had been before. Before Bella’s cousins had come to live with them, before Jasper had disagreed with Alice, before Alice left for England, before Alice brought Evan back, and before the fiasco when they all had thought Jasper had cheated on Alice.
Esme refused to think on the bad anymore and went back to the joy that she felt due to her family being back and all in one place. The song was ending and suddenly Jasper spun her twice under his arm before dipping her. Esme laughed in pure joy as the song ended and Jasper kissed the top of her hand. “I would love to dance once more but I think that Rose and I are going to be going home soon.” She nodded to Jasper understanding and realizing that he had probably been at the party for awhile. Esme slid her hand into the crook of Jasper’s arm as they walked back to the rest of the family that had gathered. They reached the family and Esme knew that her happiness was clear to the others gathered.

Bella placed her hands in her front pockets, a humanly habit that she had absentmindedly continued to do. She smiled, turning her cheek towards Edward as he whispered into her ear, “Of course,” She smiled as she spoke and could hardly contain the excitement to be able to spend some time alone with him. Bella took a few steps away as she made her way to sit down, hoping to have a few moments to observe everyone, particularly to see Alice and Edward dance. She gave a small sigh as she placed her hands on her knees. Bella looked over her shoulders as she wondered where exactly Jacob had been recently. Dancing with Edward was certainly an experience that she didn’t feel she could explain to just anyone else, but with the absence of Jacob it reminded her of a moment she had shared with him on her wedding day and she wanted to be able to share such a dance with one of her best friends. A small smirk came across her lips as she instantly remembered the meadow and turned her attention back towards the party, looking up to watch the graceful movements that seemed to pour from her family.
