Renesmee sat quietly as both of her parents seemingly scolded her for her feelings and thoughts about Jasper. In her entire existence, she had never seen or heard her parents talk to her in that way. Then again, nothing this severe had ever happened within their family, so everything was new to her. Knowing that her parents were right still didn't change how she felt about Jasper's actions. She knew that his only tie to the Cullens really was Alice, but what he had done to her was unspeakable. And even though Alice had been the one to bring him home from Florida, Renesmee knew that her favorite aunt was still hurting. She didn't need the power of feeling others' emotions to know that. Alice had not been around as often in the last few months and even her shopping trips were fewer, which spoke volumes of Alice's mood since she loved to shop.
