Raine smiled to Lexie as she sat down with them. "Well i hope be can be friends to Lexie, it would make me feel better in this world to have more friends around me, and even some i know the Cullens trust." Raine said and smiled. Hearing Vanessa ask for directions Raine smiled, she thought that Vanessa could remember the way that Raine had walked. "Well Vanessa, when we visited my little friend, do you remember the little road that i dissapeared up at when we walked home? thats it where i live, but not in the huge house, i live in a tree house in the backyard, and dont take it by mistake, is a really big tree house." Raine said and laughed. She looked at her cousin who seemed to be in some kind of daydreaming state of the day, she smiled to him, she loved him dearly, he was her cousin somewhat far out in the family. Raine had found that out in her early years as a vampire, she did have family living in the world, her mom had another child, who is long gone now, and in that part of the family Jay belongs. Raine leaned against Arkans chest, to her he was warm, soft and everything she wanted. Raine kept thinking about their honeymoon and how he had tried to convince her to let him spoil her, it made her laugh silently. She leaned her head up to his and kissed his cheek, also whispering in his ear, "Spoil me if you like, i wont sat no anymore, its something you want to do for me, and therefor im gonna let you." Raine said and kissed his cheek once again. She looked at the growd, at all the people dancing, wolves, humans, and vampires.

Jay was in his own thoughts after Raine had said hi to him. He kept thinking about what he was gonna do with his life. When Arkan said something about bringing his cousin back Jay smiled to him and then to Raine. "Its great to have you back Raine. I missed just being able to stop by when i was bored." Jay said to Raine and smiled. He decided he had had enough of this party thing. Big celebrations wasnt his thing. He got up and waved to everyone at the table and left the party to walk home. It was hard getting out of the crowd.
OOC: i know its short, didnt have much for him to do.

"I am not sure if Nessie knows, but I will make it a point to go to her house and talk with her soon." Jasper nodded his agreement before he spoke, “That would probably be best, Nessie would probably slam the door in my face if I tried to speak with her.” He also thought it would be best if Rosalie went and explained it all to Nessie since she had been the one to first find out. Edward and Bella could easily convince their daughter, but a certain understanding would come from the fact of hearing the story from Rose. Rosalie’s beautiful laugh rang out as Jasper had dipped her again and his elation from being at the party grew. He could also figure that Rosalie was a little shocked when he kissed her cheek as the song ended. Jasper realized that he had never been open with his emotions in front of others, even with Alice before things had gone horribly wrong.
Jasper always had his emotions in check and quite often he also controlled the emotions of others. Jasper also picked up on Rosalie’s joy which he could sense greater as she returned his kiss of the cheek with her own, and a hug. "This is one of the happiest nights of my life. Thank you for sharing it with me." Jasper nodded gravely at Rosalie and gave a small sigh, “Remember mother? I had not choice in coming.” Jasper flashed a small grin a few seconds later to double check that Rosalie knew he was joking. The next song was beginning and Jasper held out his hand to see if Rosalie would wish to continue dancing.

Esme sighed happily as she looked over herself once more in the mirror. She had never been one to dress fancy, due to her joy of the simple things in life. Tonight was different however and she smiled to herself as she left the room that she share with Carlisle. It was the evening of the Fork’s birthday party, and Esme was excited to be able to have some fun. Fun was exactly what her family had needed after everything that had been happening lately and Esme was more then ready to join in. Esme stood in the garage for a few moments, but decided that a nice run was in order and she took off for town. She stood in the faint shadows and straightened out her dress and hair before walking into the party. Esme looked through the crowds to see several familiar faces mingling with those that she did not recognize. It was easily seen that everyone was having a great time at the party, and that caused a bright smile to split her face.
Esme then turned to watch those one the dance floor and she spotted Edward and Bella, Alice and a man that had to be Nathaniel, and then she spotted Rosalie dancing with Jasper. It took every fiber of self control for Esme to not use her vampire speed to run to Jasper and engulf him in a hug. She had been hurt when he left for Florida, and that was something that had brought pain to think about. It had been explained to her what had happened though and any trace amount of hurt had been washed away. Esme wanted to go over to Jasper and Rosalie so badly to check that her family was actually coming back together. It was almost too much to bear to think about her family being ripped to shreds over what had happened. Esme saw that Jasper was having a good time and that had her change direction to the tables consoling herself that she would get a chance to speak with him later. Esme could feel her heart over flowing with joy from being at the party, and mostly from the fact that her family had not been destroyed and was beginning to mend.

Christopher silently cursed to himself as he tripped up again getting off of his motorcycle. He never had been graceful, and he also figured that it would be something he was going to have to get used to. Chris locked his helmet onto his motorcycle and put away his jacket not wanting to walk around in it all night. He ran his hands through his hair a few times before following his nose towards the food stands. Chris stopped at one of the stands grilling hamburger and got two of them as well as a bag of chips before sitting down at one of the many tables that they had set up. He glanced around for a few moments before turning his attention back to his food. After the first few bites Christopher started thinking about his cousin Jon and how long it had been since he had heard from Jon. Christopher decided to go to Jon’s house in a few days and that settled any lingering thoughts about what his cousin had been up to. motoaus.com/images/stories/suzuki2008/GSXR1000-2008-black.jpg = Christopher’s motorcycle

Edward smiled at Bella as she said that she was happy that Lexi was home and took his hand to leave the dance floor. Edward looked around as they left the floor and noticed that Alice and Nate were dancing together as well as Rose and Jazz were still dancing. He was glad that Rose was happy again to have her twin back. Edward knew that Rose was not easy to live with but she was worse when Jasper was gone. He also noticed that their mother had arrived and was sitting at a table off to the side of the dance floor. He waved to her to motion her over to the place were the others were sitting. As the reached the edge of the dance floor, Edward noticed that Lexi had made her way over to Raine and Arkan and introduced her self. Edward was happy that Lexi was making friends with the extended family. He knew that if Lexi was back that she had rejoined the pack and would be around more. Edward was happy for Bella to have her old friends back in her life. They were a part of her human life and would be a part of her life now.
As they approached the group at the table, Edward watched as Jay walked away and left the party. "I hope that we did not run him off." Edward said as they reached the table. "It is good to see you home again, Lexi." Edward said as he bent to give her a hug. He was completely comfortable being around the wolves now and thought of them as part of his family, as they were part of his son-in-laws family. Edward then moved to stand behind Bella and wrap his arms around her with his chin resting on the top of her head.

Rosalie listened to her brother and knew that he was probably right about their niece. She was going to have to work hard to get Nessie to understand everything and to get her to forgive Jasper. Rosalie knew that once Nessie knew that truth that she would not be able to stay mad at him, like the rest of the family. She would be mad as Lexie. Rosalie decided that she would go and talk to her after the party was over. She would do it as soon as possible so that the family could mend and be whole again. "At this point, brother I think that you might be right." Rosalie said to him smiling.
When she told him thank you for coming with her and he reminder her that he had not had a choice in the matter, she smiled at him and stuck out the tongue in a playfully manner. "I know, but you are enjoying yourself, never the less." She said to him. When he offered his hand for another dance she took it and was more than happy to continue dancing with her twin. She then noticed that Esme had arrived at the party and was sitting off to the side. "Esme is here now. I think that you should dance the next dance with her. I know that she will want to spend some time with you, since she has not seen you since your return." Rosalie said as they danced around the dance floor to the rhythm of the music.

Alice was lead onto the dance floor by Nathaniel where they started dancing together. It had been some time since she had last danced, but she was happy to have such an obliging partner who would dance with her. As they turned about the floor and watched the other couples around them dancing, Alice smiled a little. The atmosphere was euphoric almost and it was soothing to her. Everything that she had come through in the last few months seemed insignificant to the content she felt right then. She knew that once the party was over, once the lights were dimmed and the decorations were taken down, everything would come back that she would have to face in one way or another. But, for the evening, she was blissful.
Looking back into Nathaniel's eyes as he asked her a question, she smirked a little. "I do enjoy parties quite a bit," she giggled. "I think that they are some of the things that make me the happiest because I enjoy planning things." Alice twirled under Nathaniel's arm as the song picked up for a moment and looked back at him to answer the second half of his question. "I think one of the best parties I ever planned was my brother and sister's wedding," she replied. "Edward and Bella's reception was absolutely beautiful and perfect. Some of my absolute best work."

Esme could not stop her smiling as she continued to watch her children out on the dance floor. They were all enjoying themselves and Esme knew that was what her family needed. Too many sad things had been happening in the past and Esme had felt at a slight loss to help her family mend the broken pieces. She laughed a little as she noticed Jasper dip Rosalie and Esme could easily hear her daughter’s laugh from her place at the table. Rose had been particularly heart broken when Jasper left, and Esme couldn’t stand seeing anyone in that much pain. Esme watched as Bella and Edward twirled around the dance floor looking at each other the same way that they had all those years ago when Bella had been human.
To see everyone paired off brought a bitter sweet feeling for Esme because she was glad to see her family happy, but she also was becoming lonely from missing Carlisle. Luckily in her musings Esme did not miss Edward signaling for Esme to go down the table. She looked to see a small gathering of vampires and wolves. With her smile anew, Esme got to her feet to join them. By the time that she had gotten over to the group they had all settled into their little places. Esme did not care to stop smilling, “Hello everyone.” Somehow Esme could not find herself in a bad mood as long as her family was safe and happy, and now was particularly true.

Jasper watched as Rosalie seemed to understand and agree with him that telling Nessie what had happened would not be the easiest of things. He also realized that the notion of Nessie slamming the door in his face would not be all that far from the truth if she did not say or do something worse. "At this point, brother I think that you might be right.” Jasper allowed himself a small smirk, “I know I’m right.” A few seconds later Rosalie stuck her tongue out at him in response to his joke he had not been given a choice in coming to the party. Jasper felt a soft smile grace his face as he realized how easy it was for him to relax then. Life was easy for that point even if it would only be a few hours before he went back to the world where he had been held prisoner, divorced, and a number of other things that had nearly destroyed his life.
Rosalie accepted his offer to dance together again but he knew after another dance or two they would have to go to the side and pretend to rest. That was something else that had become habbit forming was the little mannerisms it took to be human again. "Esme is here now. I think that you should dance the next dance with her. I know that she will want to spend some time with you, since she has not seen you since your return." Jasper looked to the edge of the dance floor to see her watching with a bright smile on her face. A smile that made Jasper feel guilt, something he was not used to, because he did not make much effort to find her out and talk with her.
Esme was one of the absolute sweetest creatures that Jasper had ever met, and because of that he always seemed to feel guilt if he thought he had disappointed her. That was not an easy feat in itself and Jasper nodded in agreement to Rose’s suggestion. “That would be a good idea; I do need to talk to her.” Jasper looked back to where Esme had been sitting to see his adoptive mother making her way to a small group of others. He nodded towards them and spoke to Rosalie, “Would you mind going now? I don’t want Esme to think I’m avoiding her.” Although the notion did not sound wholly unappealing to Jasper.

Nathaniel took note that Alice seemed to be enjoying herself as they began to dance. Nate could feel himself comparing Alice and Bella as sisters. He saw that they were two completely different creatures, but Nathaniel saw that they were the best of friends. Nathaniel smiled reflectively at the thought and he was glad to see the Cullen family had not fallen to complete pieces after what had happened. A few moments after they had begun to dance, Alice answered his question. Nathaniel smiled in response as Alice answered him with the answer that he had expected from her. Alice twirled under Nathaniel’s arm to match the beat of the music, and Nate found himself comparing the sisters again.
Nate realized that Bella’s confidence on the dance floor did not rival with how comfortable Alice seemed to be. Nathaniel chastised himself a few seconds later reminding himself not to judge others based on what they seemed to be. As they continued to dance on the lit floor, Alice responded to his other question about her favorite party. "I think one of the best parties I ever planned was my brother and sister's wedding.” Nathaniel smiled as he could easily tell the joy in Alice’s voice as she spoke of Bella and Edward’s reception. Nate smiled at his dance partner and twirled Alice once to fit the song and when she came back he said, “Well I shall have to remember that if ever in the future I am married.”

Alice's mood began to lighten the more she danced with Nathaniel. She felt completely at ease with the world and all that was going on at that moment. Dancing was the easiest thing in the world, next to existing. As she twirled in and out with Nathaniel leading, she felt the smile on her face broaden. The music was uplifting and fun to dance to, so that was a bonus in Alice's book. She giggled when Nathaniel mentioned using her for his own wedding in the future. "I would be delighted to plan that occasion," she gushed happily. "Just let me know in advance so that plans can be put into motion!"
Spinning out once more, Alice's mind whirled with the possibilities that could come from planning a new part soon. She knew that Renesmee's birthday was approaching, as well as Bella's human birthday. Even though she knew her sister hated celebrating that day, she knew that Bella would never deny celebrating her daughter. That was one thing everyone in the family agreed on...celebrating Renesmee. She was the most spoiled/unspoiled member of their family because she was so unique. In her mind, she was planning what to do for her beloved niece's birthday. But, she turned her attention back to Nathaniel very quickly as the song ended. "Shall we dance for one more?" she asked.

She smiled sweetly at Arkan. "Nice to meet you too!" she said. Raine sure knew how to pick 'em. She rocked back and forth on her heels listening to Raine talk about the "directions." Her vision flashed back to when they were walking. She knew were the bigger house was, but she couldn't remember a tree house. Oh well, she'd find it. Vanessa smiled. "Okay, so I guess I'll stop by on Friday?" She had been planning on heading up to First Beach, but hanging out with Raine sounded cooler. She hadn't gotten to know Raine well before she had left for her honeymoon, this would be a lot of fun.
She looked out onto the dancefloor. There were alot of couples out there and it only reminded her of her lonely "single-ness." Her friends back home, when she was single, would tell her "Its more fun, you can play the field and flirt." But it seemed like everyone in Forks was already taken. By well deserving girls to. Lucy for instance. Her and Kaleb definatly had something going on. And she deserved him. She was really sweet.

Nathaniel was glad that Alice seemed to be having a good time. Like the rest of the Cullens he knew tonight must have been a well deserved break for Alice. She laughed a little when Nathaniel suggested that she could plan his own wedding and that she would be delighted to. Alice added the request to know in advance so that she could begin the planning early. Nathaniel chuckled and said, “You may be better at seeing if that is something that will come in my future.” While he joked about it part of Nathaniel was questioning if he would ever find a mate. He found it to be occasionally depressing when he reflected on how long he had been on the Earth without finding someone. Nathaniel was also amazed by the feat of spending four hundred and forty years of his life alone. That wasn’t entirely true because of his human life, and the coming years where he imagined to be staying in Forks for quite some time. It was a quaint town and as he had told Alice before it reminded him of the country side towns that were sprawled across Europe.
The song finally came to an end a few moments later and Alice asked if they should dance again. Nathaniel had to quickly remind himself what century he was living in and that it was perfectly alright to dance a second time without being frowned upon. Nathaniel also noticed that several members of Alice’s family were beginning to gather on the edge of the dance floor. “It would be an honor but I would not wish to keep you from your family.”

'Argg. I'm so late.' He knew he probably really wasn't late, it was just the fact that he was still at his house an hour after the time he had planned on getting to the big birthday bash, and this was irritating to him. He knew that things would just be picking up about this time and had hoped to get to the party before hand so that he could scope out and find his friends, and mostly Lucy. He hadn't gotten to see her in a couple of days and was really looking forward to seeing her smile, and to maybe have a dance or three with her.
Kaleb pulled on his favorite pair of boots and then headed toward the door. His mom stopped him in the hallway, and much to his reluctance, she proceeded to ask him questions about where he was going, when he would be home, who he would be with, all the typical motherly questions, and he politely answered. When she was finally finished drilling him with her questions she turned to walk back into the kitchen then she paused, turned back to him, winked and said "By the way, son, you look very handsome." Of course, Kaleb turned a couple of shades of embarrassment red because he never really was one to care about how he dressed. He looked himself over once. Favorite boots, favorite dark wash yet worn in jeans, brown stripped pearl snap shirt and his favorite cowboy hat. 'Aw, what the heck' "Thank ya, Mama." he yelled as he headed out the door.
A few minutes later he had driven and followed the throngs of people. 'There's more people here than I thought there would be...heck, there's more people here than I thought existed in this part of the world.' He found a spot to park and quickly made his way into the crowded street of downtown Forks. 'Hmm, if I were Lucy…where would I be...in a crowd of people this big? Eating? Being a social butterfly? Outside after having just escaped, maybe?" In between his thoughts he paused and finally noticed music playing from up ahead of him. 'Ahhh…dancing.' Kaleb slowly started walking through the crowd with only one person on his mind. 'Lucy.' He began circling the dance floor, in a big spiral, slowly making his way inward, and all the while searching right and left for his Lucy.
'There.' She was standing in the middle of the dance floor and talking with Katelyn. He began to walk up behind her and for a brief second thought about scaring her, but then decided to spare her the embarrassment and possibly himself the pain of being punched or something. Instead he slowly walked up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder and said, "Excuse me ma'am...I don't know 'bout you but where I'm from we don't call this dancing. May I cut in?" He said with his signature crooked smile.
