Forks' Birthday Bash {OPEN}

[Jasper Hale]

Jasper was genuinely happy as he began dancing with his twin. He could hardly remember the last time he was able to let go and have fun. The last year of his life had been hell with Lexie and her horrible games attempting to tear apart his family, right up through the several months he had been trapped in Florida. Jasper’s thoughts evolved to more present ones as he thought of Rosalie and the fact that Emmett was not the one dancing with her. Jasper was not one known for feeling pity towards others but he did hurt for his twin because he knew just how much she loved her mate. Emmett really was the perfect one for her and Jasper was only too willing to take his place as Rosalie’s dance partner if it made his twin smile. Jasper owed his twin and he could tell quite easily that she was enjoying herself and that made him feel all the better.

Jasper smiled at Rosalie as she laughed and he knew that she was enjoying herself. Jasper noticed Edward and Bella dancing as Rosalie asked, "Do you think that those two will ever stop acting like they are still on their honeymoon?" Jasper grinned as he felt the love glowing from his brother and sister he shook his head looking to Rose, “Never.” After a few moments a familiar scent assaulted him as soon as Raine appeared welcoming him back and said that she was glad that Rosalie had not maimed him. Jasper nodded to Raine with a faint smile that was from the energy of his twin and the festive mood of everyone gathered, “That would make two of us.” Raine then said that she needed to go and let Edward and Bella know that she and Arkan had come home. Jasper nodded and looked back to Rosalie and smirked before dipping his twin before slipping back into the beat of the song. “Thank you for making me come Rose. I suppose this is another thing I owe you for.” Jasper said with a smile.

[Rosalie Hale]

Rosalie was enjoying dancing with her twin and could tell that he was finally letting go and starting to enjoy him self too. Rosalie was happy to see him smile as they danced. She was realizing just how much she had missed him the more that they were together. Rosalie know that next to Emmett, Jasper was her best friend and of course her twin. She smiled brightly as the twirled around the dance floor. When Jasper answered her comment about Edward and Bella, she laughed. She knew that she could not blame them, for when she and Emmett were together, they acted the same way. Rosalie thought about Emmett for a split second, before she was brought back be the approach of Raine. Rosalie smiled as Raine approach them and welcomed Jasper back home. Rosalie knew that Raine being at the party meant that she and Arkan were back from their honeymoon. Though Rosalie was happy for them she still had reservations about them. Rosalie knew that the extended family was becoming larger and that meant that there were more to worry about. When Raine commented on being glad the Rosalie did not hurt Jasper, Rosalie smirked and stuck out her tongue at Raine. "I would never hurt my twin, no matter how mad I was at him." Rosalie said in her smug tone.

When Raine left them to make her way over to their brother and sister, Rosalie turned her attention back to her twin. She was enjoying her dance with him. When he dipped her, she let out a laugh that was pure windchimes. She was truely happy in that moment to be dancing with her twin. When he thanked her for making him come and said that it was another thing that he owed her for, she smiled at him. "You are welcome Jazz, but you don't owe me anything. You would do the same for me if the roles were reversed. That's what twins are for, dear brother. Besides you being here is just at much for me as is it for your enjoyment." Rosalie said as they danced and twirled to the music.

As they twirled Rosalie spotted Alice first talking to someone that looked familiar to her but she was not sure of who is was. Then Rosalie watched as Alice went to sit next to Nathanial and start talking to him. For a moment Rosalie worried about how that would make Jasper fell, but this was a party and they were there to socialize. Rosalie would be there to support her twin if he needed her, and they would have a good time together no matter what. "I was thinking that neither of us have hunted since our return from California, we should plan a hunting trip soon." Rosalie said to Jasper and thought about the old days when they were in Forks thirty years ago. They used to go on weekend trips with the whole family. "Maybe we could get the family together for a trip like we used to do, back before Bella joined us. We have not been on a family camping trip in such a long time." Rosalie said hoping that Jasper would agree with her. A family trip would help to rebuild the unity that they used to have between them.

[Alexandria Lightfeather]

Lexi had finished her plate of BBQ and decided that she need to mingle and meet people. She had been away from Forks for so long and only know the Cullen's and the pack. She knew that if she was going to fit in with the group again, she would need to met the new vampires that were in town as well as get to know the new members of the pack, other than just from their thoughts. Lexi was out of touch with everyone. As she looked around she saw that Leah had arrived at the party, but she was not going to bother her. Lexi knew that Leah would not be in the best of moods being around all the vampires that were here. Leah was still not one to socialize with the enemy as she still thought that all vampire, with the exception of the Cullen's on a good day were bad. Lexi laughted to her self at that thought. She knew that Leah was never going to change and she was not going to push the issue with her.

Lexi looked out to the dance floor and saw that four of the Cullen's were now on the floor, but they did not look quite right. Lexi realized that it was because Rosalie was dancing with Jasper and not with her mate. Lexi wondered where Emmett was and why he was not with his wife. Lexi remembered Emmett and his ability to make anyone laugh. She has always liked him and his fun loving nature. Lexi continued to looked around the square and saw that Alice was talking to a vampire that Lexi did not know. She figured that he must be one of the new additions that had arrived. Lexi then noticed a female that she did not know arrive and go onto the dance floor to talke to the Cullen's that were there. Lexi figured that she must know they well to interrupt their dancing. Lexi watched as she then went to sit beside a guy and start talking to him.

Lexi debated on whether or not she should go and introduce herself to the female. She decided that it would not hurt and that she could talk to the ones that were dancing later when they were not busy. Lexi moved through the crowd with the grace and movements of a wolf, even in her human form. She could manuver easily without even touching anyone that she did not want to. As she approached the female vampire that she was trying to reach, she noticed that a human girl and a male vampire had joined her and the other guy at the table. Lexi hoped that the two vampires were as accepting of the wolves as the Cullen's were. She would hate to start anything at the party.

Lexi slowly approached the table to talked to them. She stopped in front of the female vampire. "I saw you from across the square, when you went to talk to Edward and Bella. I am an old friend of theirs. I have just resently returned to Forks and thought that I would introduce myself. I am Alexandria Lightfeather, but you may call me Lexi." She said as she held out her hand in a gesture of greeting.

[Cereah Grayson]

Cereah had been in Paris with her husband, Remy of the better part of three decades. Once they were reunited, she hardly ever left his side. However, this was one of those instant's were she did not have a choice. You did not tell the Royal Family, no, when they called you. Reah had known the Cullen's most of her immortal life. She had meet them through her father, who was a close personal friend of Carlisle. When Edward called her and asked that she come to Forks for a meeting with him and Bella, she knew that she would have to leave Remy and come. She knew that Remy would prefer to stay in Paris, as he rarely left anymore. She told him that she loved him and that she would see him soon as she boarded the plane that would take her to Forks, Washington and to the meeting that would change their lives.

When she arrived in Forks the first thing that she did was to go to her cottage that was on the Cullen land. She had not been there since before Bella had joined the family. Reah knew that the cottage would not have been entered since the last time that she was there. She opened it up and let in the fresh air. After that she went to the Cullen Mansion only to find that no one was home. Reah caught the scent of a few of the family and followed it through the woods. As she came out of the woods into the center of town, Reah could see that there was some sort of celebration going on. Reah had all but forgotten about how the Cullen's like to socialize with humans. Though Reah was a vegetarian like them, she did not socialize as much with humans and they did. Reah and Remy tended to stay to their selves and just be with each other.

She noticed that Edward and Bella were on the dance floor. It was the first time that she had seen Bella since the transformation and she must admit that she was beautiful. Reah looked around for the other members of the family and noticed that Rosalie and Jasper were dancing together, which was not strange to her considering how close they were to each other. She then spotted Alice but she was engrossed in conversation with a vampire that Reah did not know. She finally decided to find a seat and wait for Edward and Bella to leave the dance floor.

[Alice Cullen]

Alice was taken back at the thought that she was born in the wrong century. The thought of that made her smile a little because she had never thought that herself. However, when she thought about it a little, she began to realize that perhaps Nathaniel was right. Everything about previous centuries fascinated Alice from the way their parties were thrown to how men and women interacted, but she adored the clothing styles and parties the most. They were so elegant, timeless, and made women stand out from the crowd. Alice let this knowledge soak into her mind for a few moments as she watched people go across the dance floor under the bright twinkling lights.

When Nathaniel mentioned her family, Alice paused momentarily and agreed with him nonvebally about the party coming at the right time. Their family had gone through so much recently that she knew this party was probably healing some of their spirits, including her own. Looking out over the dance floor, she could tell that Bella and Edward were in their own little world, as usual, and that Jasper was truly enjoying himself with Rosalie. Nathaniel's voice brought her out of her own thoughts as he asked her to dance. She smiled and nodded. "I would love to dance with you," she said sweetly. It had been a long time since she had danced with anyone, so she was glad that Nathaniel had asked as a gentleman and friend.

[Raine Aurora-North]

Raine was talking with her cousin when vanessa suddenly showed up.
" Hey girl, how are you, enjoying the party?" Raine said and greeted her friend.
Chatting and looking at people Raine smelled the beautifull scent of her husbond and a few seconds later he came from behind and locked his arms around her.
Raine laughed at his comment about her waiting 5 minutes for him to get dressed.
" Nope, couldnt wait at all, i was afraid if i was alone with you and saw you with clothes on i would tear it apart, and your so vain about your looks, it takes you longer than me to get dressed, thats also cuz i dont care what i wear. That reminds me, Vanessa, come visit me tomorrow, i have some dresses i think would really look great on you, and i never wear them, so maybe you would like them. " Raine said and smiled, it was great to be back in Forks, she had missed her cousin alot, and she had been anxious to get home and get to know Vanessa more. She had loved her honeymoon with Arkan, and the time they had spent together, and hopefully now they would spend more time together being home in Forks, than they had before their wedding.
She turned her head to the side and kissed Arkans cheek.
"Did you see that Jass was home again, its nice to have the family gathered again, and Maden, i wonder how big he is now, i havent seen him for a while that little toodler. Im so happy to be home, sorrounded by friends and family, all the people she cared about the most." Raine said and smiled her most happy smile. Theres nothing like home, she thought.

Raine then noticed a female walking towards her little gathering, gracefull as the wolves she came over and introduced herself to Raine first. Raine shook her hand and smiled, not even wrinkling her nose at the wolf smell that allmost burned to in vampires noses, she was so used to it.
"Hello Lexi, nice to meet you, my name is Raine North, and this is my husbond Arkan, my friend Vanessa and my cousin Jay. Arkan and i are cousins to the Cullen family" Raine said and smiled. She said that she and Arkan were cousins since thats what they had decided to be, they would never be as close as the original Cullens were. She moved a little so that Lexi could sit down if she pleased to.

[Jasper Hale]

Jasper was a little amazed at how much he felt compelled to grin. Instead of controlling the emotions around him Jasper was able to relax and let the joy flow. Letting go in crowds was not something Jasper was entirely used to because there were always a large collection of mixed emotions. Jasper then could not stop a playful snort when Rosalie said, "I would never hurt my twin, no matter how mad I was at him." Jasper spun Rosalie saying with a grin, “That would be debated dear twin.” After a few moments of dancing Rosalie said that he did not owe her anything. Jasper smiled at his twin knowing that she was being honest. He smiled at her and nodded his head, “Still I think you know what I mean Rose.” Jasper smiled again for what was quickly becoming one of the countless times that night as Rosalie said that bringing him was just as much for herself. He chuckled knowing that he would have had a better shot at staying home if Emmett had been home.

Jasper thought for a few moments about that fact as he wondered what had happened to his brother. He had not seen Emmett since he had come back to Forks, and Jasper knew that Rosalie had to be missing her husband. In the dancing Jasper glanced to the edges of the dance floor to see Alice with someone he did not recognize. He watched for a few moments but he could not feel anything significant coming from the male vampire, or Alice. Jasper’s curiosity went away in an instant and he turned back to Rosalie with a smile as they continued to dance. "I was thinking that neither of us have hunted since our return from California, we should plan a hunting trip soon." Jasper sighed as a faint burning began in his throat as he realized how long it had been since his last feeding. He was brought back from it when Rosalie said that it should be a family trip, and Jasper nodded to his twin. “A camping trip sounds like just the thing.”

[Rosalie Hale]

Rosalie laughed with her brother, when he commented on it being debatable that she would hurt him. Rosalie knew she temper, but she had never hurt one of her family before. Rosalie knew that she was capable of it though. Rosalie knew that she would have to watch that temper, even more now that Jasper was back. She knew that her feelings could easily over power him if she was not careful. Rosalie knew that it would take time for Jasper to be able to control himself around other's emotions again. She would help her brother in anyway that she could. She would build his spirits back up and fix things for him. Rosalie knew she would be leaning on him as much as he was leaning on her. With Emmett gone, she was lonely and missed him greatly. She was not sure where Emmett was or when he would be back. He was not answering his phone when she called and that concerned her. She was thinking about Emmett and knew that was not good for the emotions of the party. She turned her attention back to her twin. She knew that she could not think about Emmett or why he left.

As she continued to dance with Jasper, she could him looking in Alice's direction and realized that he would not know who Nathanial was and might worry about him. Rosalie was not sure if she should reassure her brother, or not, but she took the chance. "Don't worry bro, that is just Nathanial that Alice is talking to. He is one of the new vampires in town that helped us with Will, when he attacked Nessie." Rosalie said to her twin, she wanted to make sure that he was handling things okay and that she was there to support him, if he needed her. Rosalie had become so protective over him since his return and she knew that she could not help or stop it.

As they continued to dance and she watched Jasper seem to enjoy himself with her, she returned to her former joy of the night and was happy to be sharing the night with him. She knew that other's were arriving at the party and she would deal with them as the night went on but for now she was dancing with her twin and enjoying the time with him. When he answered her about the camping trip, she smiled brightly. Rosalie loved to go camping with the family and hoped that they could get the whole family together to go. She knew that Renesmee had never been on a family camping trip and wondered if she would go with the baby. "I am glad that you think the camping trip is a good idea. Do you think that we could convince Nessie to come with us? She has not been around the family a lot since Alicia was born." Rosalie said to Jasper. She was thinking about everything that Nessie still did not know and was not sure of how Nessie would react to finding out the truth. Rosalie knew that she needed to have a talk with her neice but she was not going the deal with that tonight. Rosalie smiled out her twin and twirled around the dance floor as he lead her. She was so happy that she could hardly contain her self.

"I am glad that you are home, Jasper." Rosalie said as the song ended and they waited for the next one to begin. Rosalie was having to much fun dancing with Jasper to care about anything else in that moment. She was just spending quality time with her twin that she had missed for so long. Rosalie watched as Alice and Nathanial walked out onto the dance floor and wondered how Jasper would feel seeing her dance with someone else. Rosalie would watch her brother and if she needed to she would cut in and dance with Nathanial so that Jasper could dance with Alice. She knew that they needed to talk but also knew that tonight was not the night for that kind of talk. Tonight was a night to enjoy the party and have fun.

[Alexandria Lightfeather]

Lexi watched as the female tooked her hand and introduced herself and the rest of the group that was around her. Lexi was glad that she did not seem to mind the fact that Lexi was a wolf. Lexi had gotten used to being around the vampire's during the time that she spend working with the Cullen's. Though she had been away for a long time and the smell was hard to take when she first arrived. Now she was back to being used to the smell of the vampire's and it did not bother her anymore.

"It is nice to meet all of you." Lexi said to the group. She sat down at the table with the group and looked around at them. It was an interesting group to say the least. Two vampire's and two human's hanging out. When Raine said that she and her husband were cousin's the the Cullen's Lexi smiled. She had known that she was close to the family, she was not sure of how close. "It is nice to meet more of the family and I am a close family friend. I have known the Cullen's for a long time. I have just resently returned back to town." Lexi said to Raine.

Vanessa smiled at Raine. "Yeah, its alot of fun. One of my friends actually got me dancing so it has been an interesting night so far...." Vanessa noticed a guy approaching Raine and he wrapped his arms around her. " Nope, couldnt wait at all, i was afraid if i was alone with you and saw you with clothes on i would tear it apart, and your so vain about your looks, it takes you longer than me to get dressed, thats also cuz i dont care what i wear. That reminds me, Vanessa, come visit me tomorrow, i have some dresses i think would really look great on you, and i never wear them, so maybe you would like them. " Vanessa smiled at Raine "Your husband I assume? And of course I will. I just need directions." She had never met him nor had she seen a picture of him so this was strictly a guess, but then again it was kind of obvious the way they both looked at eachother. He looked at her like she was some kind of angel sent from heaven. She looked at him like he was her savior or something. She had never seen a love that strong and it made her smile even wider. Although she didn't know Raine well, she was happy that she had found someone so loving and they fit together perfectly.

[Arkan North]

Arkan kissed his wife and laughed at the comment about him being vane. He knew that he was not vain and that she was just picking on him. "There is nothing wrong with caring about the way that you look, my angel." Arkan said to her. He knew that she was one that did not care about clothes and that was one of the things that he loved about her. She loved her jeans and t-shirts and was not worried about fancy clothes. However Arkan did like to wear nice clothes, even if it was jeans. They had the money to afford expensive clothes and he wanted to give her the very best of everything. Arkan had tried to convince her to let him spoil her while they were on their honeymoon, but she would not let him. Arkan would have given her the moon if she would let him.

Arkan looked around at the group that was around his wife and smiled at them. He knew Jay, her cousin. "Hey there, Jay. I finally returned your cousin." He said and held out his hand to shake hands with Jay. Arkan knew that Jay was going to be a part of their life as Raine loved her cousin and he was fine with that. If Raine wanted a relationship with her cousin, then she would have it. Arkan also knew that they would be staying in Forks for the most part as it was were the Cullen family was and Arkan was loyal to them as his family. He knew that he could have been considered at a brother and son, since it was Carlisle that saved him, but he did not feel that kind of connection to the family. He felt more like a cousin and that was how he acted. However, he was loyal to the Royal family and would stay close to them to protect them. He felt almost like if it had been the Volturi, he would be part of the guard. Though the Cullen's did not want to rule like the Volturi did, they still had those that were loyal to them and would stay close to them to protect them and fight for them if needs.

Arkan noticed the human girl that was talking to Raine and he smiled when she asked if he was Raine's husband. "Hello Vanessa, and yes, I am Raine's husband, Arkan North. It is nice to meet you." He said to Vanessa. He had heard her name when Raine was talking to her. Arkan was happy that Raine was making friends. He knew how hard it was for her, as she had been a loner for so much of her life. Arkan was happy that Raine was settling into life in Forks. Now if he could just get her to open up to enjoying the life that their money could give her. Arkan hugged her tighter to him and was so happy to be spending this time with her. He was about to ask her to dance when he smelled a wolf approaching them. He looked up from his wife to see a very beautiful young looking girl approaching them. Arkan thought that he knew all the wolves in the pack, but she was one that he had not met yet. He assumed that she was either exetremly new or she was one of the member's that had left the pack long ago. As she spoke and introduced herself, it became clear that she was one of the older member's of the pack. After she had introduced herself and Raine had introduced them, Arkan watched as she sat down at the table. He knew that she would not talk about things that were not appropriate for mixed company, but he did want to get to know her better. Arkan was intrigued by the wolves and their pack.

Arkan decided to sit down with his wife, so he put one leg over the bench and sat down with her between his legs and with his arms wrapped around her waist. He turned to look at Lexi and to talk to her. "So Lexi, I assume that you are from the reservation, but you said that you just return. Where were you at before you came home?" Arkan asked her in an interesting tone. He knew that the wolves as well as the vampires had a tendency to travel from time to time. It was to be expected with those that were immortal. They could not always stay in one place, though the wolves did have it better than the vampire's since the tribe knew about their history and the reservation protected them from the outside world.

[Bella Cullen]

Bella smiled as he looked down at her, mesmerizing her with that dazzling crooked smile he always used. She laid her cheek against his shoulder as she thought back to the meadow. Every memory she had of there had been one of the happier ones. She narrowed her eyebrows as she felt her fingers cling tightly around Edward and was faintly aware of everyone else that was dancing around them and the dull noise of the music against her ears. She was faintly aware that he had something and instantly began to pull herself out of the dream world that she had began to imagine herself with Edward at the meadow in. She narrowed her eyebrows as she pulled her cheek away from his shoulder so that she could meet his eyes. She replayed in her mind for a moment what he had just said and gave a soft smirk. Bella thought for a moment that he may have been talking about his friend Reah but she instantly turned her attention to where he had nodded, and smiled instantly at the sight of Lexie. She gave a small nod, “Absolutely, I’m so thrilled she is home.” Bella lowered her hand to meet his and quit dancing as she took a few steps away, pulling Edward a long with her as she began to walk off the dance floor.

[Jasper Hale]

Jasper paid careful attention to Rosalie as her laughter changed into a more reflectfull attitude. Whatever was on her mind seemed to be taking up quite a lot of her concentration as they continued to dance. A sense of loneliness seemed to wash of his twin and Jasper then realized that most likely Rosalie was thinking about her mate. One that she had not seen in quite some time, Rosalie’s loneliness washed into concern. A few moments later Rosalie seemed to shake the thoughts from her head as she turned back to him. Rose noticed that Jasper had turned to watch Alice dancing with another vampire. "Don't worry bro, that is just Nathanial that Alice is talking to. He is one of the new vampires in town that helped us with Will, when he attacked Nessie." Jasper nodded his understanding to Rosalie and turned to face his twin. He chose not to reflect on the fact that he had a subtle reminder that he was not there when his family needed him.

Jasper forced himself to remember the fact that if he could have come home he would have been there in an instant, and that settled him down. The troubles flew away almost instantly as the happiness of the night washed back over him. "I am glad that you think the camping trip is a good idea. Do you think that we could convince Nessie to come with us? She has not been around the family a lot since Alicia was born." Jasper shrugged, “I don’t know, Nessie’s daughter is not very old. Perhaps Jacob could watch her for a few days.” Jasper then smiled reflectively and looked at Rosalie, “Does she even know what has been going on with the family?” For some unknown reason it was slightly amusing that Nessie had no idea what had happened in the family. Jasper saw the irony in that and his grin grew slightly.

Jasper chuckled as Rosalie seemed to be splitting at the seams with joy. He dipped her again with a small laugh and continued to dance around the floor. Jasper nodded his agreement when Rosalie said that she was glad for him to be home. The song ended and Jasper kissed Rosalie’s cheeck in thanks, “Me too sis.”

[Nathaniel Pierce]

Nathaniel watched patiently as Alice seemed to think through what he had said about her birth year. After a few moments of silent thought she seemed to approve of his observation. Nathaniel watched as again Alice seemed to watch the dance floor, after following her line of site he noticed that she was watching her brother and sister. Alice’s sight then turned towards another couple that Nathaniel did not recognize as well, but he knew that they also belonged to the Cullen family. Alice then accepted his offer to dance with a smile on her face, a smile that Nathaniel politely returned as he stood and offered his arm. Nathaniel lead Alice to the dance floor and easily lead her to the soft beat of the song. Nathaniel then remembered some of the memories that Nessie had of the other two Cullen family members that were on the dance floor.

Nate then also realized that the man happened to be in or not so long ago, in a relationship with his current dance partner. He then wondered for a few moments whether or not it could cause a scene at the party, but Nate immediately chastised himself for thinking that Alice would purposely cause trouble. Nathaniel then aptly turned his attention back to his dance partner. He had noticed that she enjoyed parties, and Nate decided that was a safe subject. “You seem to be a woman that enjoys parties. What have been some of your favorites?”

[Rosalie Hale]

Rosalie thought about Nessie again when Jasper asked if Nessie knew what was going on in the family. Rosalie was not sure if Edward or Bella had told her yet. "I am not sure if Nessie knows, but I will make it a point to go to her house and talk with her soon." Rosalie said to her twin. She knew that she would be better at explaining things to Nessie than anyone else in the family at this point. After all she had been the one that Lexie had confessed to. Rosalie knew that Nessie would be emotional and she did not want Jasper around for that.

When Jasper dipped her again she laughed with her wind chime laugh again. Rosalie realized how long it had been since she laughed and that make her smile even more. She was almost completely happy again with her twin home. When the song was over and Jasper kissed her on the cheek, Rosalie smiled britely. She knew that was something that Jasper did not do often. In fact she could not remember a time before Jasper left that he had been that open with his emotions. Rosalie was happy to see this change in her twin. She hugged him back tightly and kissed his cheek. "This is one of the happiest nights of my life. Thank you for sharing it with me." She said to him.
