Forks' Birthday Bash {OPEN}

[Bella Cullen]

Bella gave an uncomfortable smile as he mentioned the ‘crown of my people’ . She smiled softly as she looked down for a moment, narrowing her eyebrows slightly. It was strange to her how she still felt so uncomfortable with the lifestyle that they were living. Being a vampire was hard enough of a life style, and yet here she was with her husband as the Royal Couple. Bella couldn’t be the captain of a volleyball team, let alone run an entire race of people. She clenched her jaws as she swallowed, thinking of how much she had changed, and what she was capable of forcing herself to do whenever so many other people were counting on those decisions and actions. “ You are one of a kind, Nathaniel” She smiled as she brought her eyes back up to his. She knew that her words were true, he was a living example of the modern renaissance man.

Bella did her best to not break into a smile when he mentioned that he was planning on staying in Forks for an extended period of time. She gave a small nod, doing her best to be polite as she let a small smile cross her lips, “ I think that’s a fantastic idea,” Bella felt comforted by the thought of Nathaniel’s presence. At times it seemed difficult that the strongest men of their kind that she knew were in her own family, it made them targets. Nathaniel was by far one of the most intriguing kind of their race that she had met, and she was amazed at the strength that he seemed to carry. She was lost in thought for a moment when she looked up hearing him mention Ryssa. She narrowed her eyebrows as she looked up at him, trying to force herself to not look too upset. She gave a slow nod, “Thank you for telling me, Nathaniel” Bella gave a half hearted smile. There was so much more that she wanted to say, but she knew that she would leave that for Ryssa’s ears in the hopes that she would see her again someday. She forced herself to accept that Ryssa had left. They were all individuals who could live their lives as they pleased, and could not be forced to stay in one area, no matter how much she cared for them.

Bella rolled her eyes playfully, “Something tells me that you would not argue with me no matter what I said,” She smiled sweetly , feeling herself be suddenly dipped. She let out a playful giggle as she pulled herself back up, putting her hand on his arm to stabilize herself. She smiled as he kissed her hand, and scrunched her nose as she did a small curtsy. “ Thank you for the dance” She smiled as she folded her hands back over on top of each other.

[Alice Cullen]

Alice walked around the party, seeing all of the beautiful decorations and deciding what she would improve on if she were in charge of the decorating committee. A smile spread across her face however when she realized how everything glittered. At least they do have the twinkling lights, she conceeded, laughing a little. Maybe there's hope for the humans' taste after all. As she walked around the dance floor, she wondered when the rest of her family would arrive. Seeing Bella there made her smile because it had been some time since her family had done anything fun. Everything had been so stressful lately, so she was glad there was some sort of distraction, even if it was a human party.

The more she walked around, the more she wanted to dance. However, there wasn't anyone suitable to dance with. Humans were out of the question because they would immediately noticed the temperature difference between their skin and her own. And the only male vampire she had seen thus far was already occupied dancing with her sister and she didn't want to be rude interrupting them. Instead, she simply wandered to a nearby picnic table and sat down to watch the dancing with a sweet smile across her face. Dancing was one thing she truly enjoyed as it felt like she was floating through the air as she did so. It was the best feeling in the entire world.

[Nathaniel Pierce]

Nathaniel noticed the look on her face when he mentioned the crown of his people. He had only meant it as a jest but realized that Bella seemed to be uncomfortable with that sort of a title. “Bella I apologize if I have upset you that was not my intention.” Nathaniel smiled politely when Bella said that he was one of a kind, “Thank-you but I believe all of us are in our own way.” Giving Bella that answer reminded Nathaniel how it seemed that he had been frozen to his time when he was changed. According to most of the others that Nathaniel had come across that had been a good thing. Bella seemed to be pleased by the fact that he would be staying in Forks which comforted Nate to know that he would in no way be over stepping his bounds.

“Something tells me that you would not argue with me no matter what I said,” Bella spoke in a playful tone and she rolled her eyes. Nathaniel laughed and smiled at Bella, “Well I must say if I can only claim one thing to have learned in my life is to never argue with a woman. Especially if she is confident in her answers.” Bella laughed when he dipped her and when she stood she smiled and thanked him for the dance. Nathaniel smiled and bowed to Bella, “It was my pleasure. I must say that you are a far better dancer then you claim to be. Would you like to sit down?”

[Alexandria Lightfeather]

Lexi was not sure if any of the other wolves were going to attend the party in Forks, but she was going to go. It had been a long time since she had been to a party and the gathering in Forks seemed perfect. She knew that only a handful of people would know her and she liked that. She pulled on a pair of her jeans and a t-shirt. She put on a pair of flip-flops for shoes and checked to make sure that the elastic cord was around her ankle as always. She knew that she would need it in the event that she had to leave in a hurry. Lexi knew that with all the humans being at the party with the vampires in this town, the pack would be a guard. She just wanted to have fun tonight though.

Lexi took her car and left the reservation. She arrived in Forks in just minutes and found a place to park. Lexi headed for the center of the party. She spotted Alice Cullen and made her way towards her. "Hey Alice, it's been to long." Lexi said hoping the Alice would remember her.

[Edward Cullen]

Edward had returned to the cottage to look for Bella. When she was not there, he figured that she had come to the party. He went into the closet and changed cloths. He chose a pair of jeans and a button down shirt. It was rare for Edward to wear jeans, but he was sure that Bella would be in jeans for the party. Edward ran through the woods to the edge of town and walked through the crowd. He followed her scent and found her dancing with Nate. Edward walked up to them and tapped Nate on the shoulder. "Excuse me, may I cut in?" Edward asked smiling at his wife. He knew that she did not like to dance, even though she was as graceful as the rest of the family, if not more graceful than them. Edward knew that in most things Bella still thought like a human and that was one of the things that he loved so much about her.

Edward took her in his arms and kissed her as he began to spin her around the dance floor. "Did you enjoy your dance with Nate?" He asked knowing that she was his and that he would never have to worry about her wanting anyone but him. He knew that their lives were linked and that he nor Bella would ever even consider thinking of another. Edward loved Bella more than his own life and knew that she loved him the same. They had proved that time and time again, before Bella were even a vampire. Edward thought back to the time when Bella had gone to meet James and how Edward had almost been to late. "I love you, Bella." Edward said to her as they continued to dance.

[Alice Cullen]

Alice continued to watch the others dance under the lights, smiling as she drew in the party atmosphere. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, which was the exact purpose of the party to begin with. It was a celebration. All of the humans, and even the vampires for that matter, seemed to truly enjoy it. Alice watched her sister dance with Nathaniel, knowing that he was a wonderful gentleman from all she had heard. She thought of the last time she had danced with anyone, which had been with Evan at Renesmee and Jacob's wedding more than six months ago. It had been far too long.

Wrapped up in her thoughts, she quickly came back to reality when she heard her name. Turning to the voice that said it, she saw a young woman coming her direction. Her scent directly hit Alice and she knew that the girl was a wolf. However, she had gotten used to the repungent smell of wet dog a long time ago since Jacob had perpetually been around their family, so it didn't bother her too much. Looking at the girl, she vaguely recognized her until it dawned on her exactly who she was. "It's nice to see you too Lexi," she said quietly. "When did you get back into Forks?" Before Lexi could answer, Alice saw her brother Edward arrive and take Bella into his arms for a dance. She smiled softly and turned her attention back to Lexi.

[Alexandria Lightfeather]

Lexi smiled when Alice recognized her. Lexi watched as Alice looked away for a moment and she turned to see who she was looking at. Lexi saw Edward and Bella on the dance floor and smiled to herself. They still looked just as much in love now as when she last saw them. When Alice spoke again Lexi looked back at her. "I came home about a week ago, but I have been busy at the reservation. I decided to come to the party though." Lexi said looking around for any of the other wolves.

[Rosalie Hale]

Rosalie stood in her closest looking through her clothes for something to wear to this party in town. She did not want to be over dressed but at the same time, Rosalie always made sure that she was the best dressed. Rose knew that she needed to blend in with the humans but she was not looking forward to going to the party with out Emmett. She was hoping that he would meet her there. She continued to look through her closet until she found the pink dress that she decided to wear. She was dressed in less than five seconds and was out of her room. Rose walked across the hall to her twins room and knocked on the door. "Jasper, are you going to the party in town?" Rose asked and waited for an answer. She would go with him, if he wanted to go.

Rosalie's Outfit

[Bella Cullen]

Bella shook her head quickly at Nathaniel as he spoke, “Please, there is no need to apologize,” She gave a soft smile, in attempt to prove to him that she was sincere. Bella couldn’t help but feel a bit comforted as she took in that Nathaniel would be staying in Forks. Of course she would understand had he intended on leaving, but there was a certain amount of protection that she felt would be held over her family for as long as he decided to stay. She also felt that as long as he remained in Forks, her family would be able to offer the same to him in return. After everything that he had done for her family, that was the least that she would be able to offer to him. She let out a small giggle as he spoke, “ Well I must say if I only claim one thing to have learned in my life is to never argue with a woman. Especially if she is confident in her answers,” Bella went to respond to him, and to attempt a witty remark when she saw Edward tapping his shoulder out of the corner of her eye. An instant smile broke across her face as he put her arms around her. She turned quickly to Nathaniel, in attempts to not appear rude, “Thank you again for the dance, Nathaniel. I hope I will see you soon,” She gave another small before she turned to Edward.

Bella smiled as Edward kissed her and instantly felt her frame press against his chest as she wrapped her hand around his neck. She gave a small cough, taking in a deep breath to steady herself after she had pulled away. Even after all of this time together, being around him, let alone kissing him, still took completely control over her. She chuckled lightly as she looked up at him, “ I did, actually. You look very handsome” Bella could never quite understand just how exactly Edward was handsome no matter what he did. Every single thing about him was able to intoxicate her. She smiled as she laid her head against his chest as they danced. Nowhere else felt such like home as she did whenever she was in his arms. She was beyond thrilled to be back in Forks, but as long as she was with Edward, and he continued to hold her this way, she knew it would never matter where they were. It was such a relieving feeling to her, to have her heart feel this full with love, when at one point in time she had never felt so empty in her life. She wrapped her arms tighter around him as she thought about not only when he had left in the first place. That she could live with, knowing that a world where Edward was alive, even if she couldn’t have him would be lonely, but manageable. When she found out about his plans to end his life, it felt as though the ground had been taken out from underneath her. “ I love you Edward, forever” She smiled as she said forever, knowing just how true that statement was.

[Edward Cullen]

Edward smiles as Bella said that she enjoyed her dance with Nate. Edward knew that he did not need to but he asked her anyway. "Should I be jealous?" He said smiling at her. Edward had not truely been jealous of anyone since that night long ago in the tent before the battle with the newborns, when Jacob had kept her warm from the freezing weather. Edward continued to dance with her as he talked to him. When she said that he was handsome, he kissed her again. "You are always beautiful." He said to her and turned her around the dance floor.

Edward knew that they were always going to be in love and that love would only get stronger as the years passed. He was so glad that he did not have to worry about hurting her anymore like he did when she was human. Now he did not have to control his passion, other than the fact that they were in public. Edward looked down at her as the song ended and asked. "Do you want to dance another dance or go to stand with Alice on the sidelines?" He knew that she loved to dance with him, but he would as always give her the choice.

[Jasper Hale]

Jasper was laid out on the bed that he had once shared with Alice. It was not long ago that the entire family found out that everything had been a lie. They found out that the twins were not his, and even some of what had happened in Florida, not to mention the fact that he did not need to go in the first pace. Jasper sighed as he looked up at the top of the canopy thinking about everything that had happened in his life the last several months. It had been almost a year since his life was turned on its ear and destroyed. Jasper got to his feet and stood at the window with every intention of going back to his thoughts of out to fix what had become his life. Jasper was brought out of his planning by a knock on the door and he turned as he heard Rosalie ask, "Jasper, are you going to the party in town?"

Jasper sighed and went to the door opening it before he answered Rosalie. He leaned on the door way, “I don’t know that it would be a good idea for me to go Rose. I think I will stay in tonight.” Jasper saw that Rosalie was already dressed and ready to go and hoped that his going would keep her from going and having a good time. He appreciated his twin more then Rosalie would ever know but Jasper wanted her to have some time to relax. Jasper hadn’t found that point of relaxing just yet, but he was not willing to risk ruining the party for Rosalie. He faintly smiled at Rosalie, “You go and have a good time.” Jasper grinned, “See if you can win one of those stuffed animals.”

[Rosalie Hale]

Rosalie stood at Jasper's door and watched as the door opened. When her twin said that he was not going that was unacceptable to her. Emmett was gone and she did not know where he was or when he would be back. He had been doing that a lot lately but she was not going to think about that tonight. Rose knew that with Emmett gone, Jasper was her only true companion. He was her twin and the one constant in her life lately. Since his return they had been almost impossible to separate and she was not going to let tonight be any different.

Rosalie side stepped her twin and walked into his room. "Jasper, I am not going to this party alone. I need an escort and you need to get out of this house. I am your twin and we are going to this party together. Now go into that closest and get dressed." Rosalie said to her twin in that tone that only she could use. She walked over to the bed and sat down to wait for him. She knew that he needed to get out and she was not about to go to this party alone.

[Bella Cullen]

Bella laughed quietly as Edward asked if he should be jealous. She raised her eyebrow playfully as she looked at him, “ It might not hurt,” She scrunched her nose as she looked up at him, giving a small smile. Bella was caught off guard as he kissed her again, and quickly felt as though her knees could buckle at any given moment. No matter what strength being a vampire had given her, Edward was the one person that was capable of making her feel as though she were a clumsy teenager all over again. She already felt as though her cheeks, if they were capable, would be flushed with red when he called her beautiful. She shook her head slowly as she smiled. His beauty and captivation, she could understand. What she couldn’t understand was how someone as majestic as himself, could even consider her to hold any form of beauty. She looked up at him as he gave her the choice of another dance, or to go to the sidelines with Alice. She looked to the side as she considered her options, “ If you don’t mind, I would appreciate just a bit more time alone with you,” Bella bit her bottom lip as she smiled. The party was a perfect place to get away from all of the drama that had circulated their lives for the past few weeks, and though she saw Edward often at home, they were still continuously dealing with different forms of drama and having what almost felt like formal discussion, versus being themselves and able to appreciate their time together. “ It’s not exactly the most private, but it’s nice to have you completely to myself for the first time in a while,” She looked up with an ashamed look on her face, hoping he wouldn’t think that she was being selfish as she wrapped her hand tighter around his neck.

[Edward Cullen]

Edward laughed as she commented on him being jealous. He knew that she was his and that was all that mattered to him. From the day that she said "I do" they had been one. Edward looked down at her and was mesmerized by her beauty. Bella was the only woman to ever take his breath away and he knew that she would always be the one for him. He was the luckiest man on in the world. He had the woman that he loved and for some reason she loved him to, even when she was human and that was something that he would never understand.

When she said that she wanted more time with him, he just smiled at her. "Bella love, you can have all the time alone with me that you want. We can spend the entire night on this dance floor." He said as the music started again and he twirled her around again. This reminded him of their prom and wedding when he danced with her as a human. "If you want I can even stand you on my feet though you dance elegantly now." He said to her as he pulled her closer to him.

[Jasper Hale]

Even as Jasper was telling Rosalie that he was not going to the party he realized what a mistake that would have been. He had a feeling it would have been easier to have pretended that he was not in his room. Jasper watched as the wheels began to turn inside of Rosalie’s head, and he realized before Rose started speaking that he would end up at that party. He only half payed attention to what Rosalie was trying to say as he turned away from her to find something in his closet. Jasper sighed and shook his head as he recognized a tone that only Rosalie could get away with. Jasper came out a few seconds later with a pair of dark wash jeans and a dark button down shirt. He held his arms out and turned slowly in a circle in front of Rosalie, “Is this nice enough, mother?” Jasper grinned at his twin and headed towards the door knowing that she would come with him. He mentally sighed and prepared himself for the party that he was about to walk into. Jasper turned before he left the house, “Would it be best if we drove?”
