As Jasper got back to his feet, Alice did so as well. Keeping her distance, she focused on other things to keep her own pain at bay. She thought of not only shopping, but her niece and goddaughter. Alicia was getting bigger by the day it seemed, but not quite as fast as her mother had. Seeing Alicia in her visions brought her joy because she knew that the little girl would grow up to be perfect and sweet, just as Renesmee had. Alice could see her dark ringlet curls that flowed past the little girl's shoulders, perfect and innocent. It was the first vision she had seen in days, but a happy one nonetheless. She would rather have seen her godchild than something horrific.
Letting the emotion of happiness spread throughout her body, she took a few steps away from Jasper and her sister. Rosalie had done enough snapping to make Alice want to just walk away. Hearing the old Rosalie come out was the last thing she wanted at that moment, especially considering that most of the entire situation was between herself and Jasper. But she knew there was no getting around Rosalie. Alice had lived with the family long enough to know that Rosalie wasn't going anywhere unless Jasper asked her to and that wasn't happening anytime soon. But at the same time, she knew that Rosalie was only protecting Jasper and she could understand. She knew that Rosalie's intentions were in a good place and she could respect that. While Rosalie texted the rest of the family, Alice worked on putting a wall between the pain and shock she was feeling so that Jasper couldn't feel anything but the happiness she felt when she saw Alicia in her vision.

Edward had been out in the woods, hunting when he felt his phone vibrate. Edward pulled it out of his pocket and looked at the message. He saw the it was Rosalie and that she was wanting the family at the house. Edward had just finished and knew that he would be good for a few weeks now. He turned and headed for the mansion.
Edward entered through the backdoor and came into the living room. Edward knew from the thoughts that he was picking, that Rose and Alice had had words again. Edward knew what was going on from the thoughts that he had already heard, but he would wait on the rest of the family. He crossed the room and took a seat in a chair. "Hello, Alice, Jasper and Rose."

Bella had been spending the morning in the cottage, trying to plan out the gift for Renesmee, seeing as how her birthday was coming up. She heard the vibration of her phone and quickly set her pen down on the counter before she walked over to it. She narrowed her eyebrows as she read the text message from Rosalie, wondering what could be happening that would require all of the family. Bella went to call Edward, but then realized that he had probably gotten the text too. She set her phone down on the kitchen counter before she walked quickly out of the house before breaking into a full sprint. She let the wind whip around her hair before she pushed her legs to move faster, comforted by the fact that she saw Edward entering the mansion as she came close to it. Bella came to a slower pace as she reached the door of the mansion until she was walking. She opened the back door and walked into the living room, stunned to see Rosalie, Alice, Jasper and Edward. She held her breath for a moment as she took the few steps to Edward and gave a pained look at Alice, knowing that whatever they had been talking about was clearly painful for Alice since she had distanced herself. She nodded towards Alice as a form of greeting before she looked back at Rosalie and Jasper. It still amazed her the closeness that the two shared, being twins. She took Edward’s hand in her own as he took a seat in the chair and wondered if seeing the bond between Rosalie and Jasper, made him long for that bond to be returned between himself and Alice. She looked up, putting a smile on her face as she looked at Rosalie and Jasper, “ Hello Rosalie, Jasper..” Bella shifted her weight onto her other leg as she looked at them, knowing that Edward already knew what was going on frustrated her as she looked up to figure it out for herself, “So what is the reason we are here?” Bella straightened as she looked up, hoping that this would be a painless conversation, for the sake of Alice and Jasper.

Carlisle soon got the message. He finished up his patient's chart and headed home. He drove at high speeds like any his family did. He got home as soon as he could, he could only wonder what the news was going to be about. He had yet to see Jasper, but had a feeling it would have something to do with him.
He soon arrived at the house and parked his car. He quickly glided up the steps to see where everyone else was at. He gently hung his coat and set his keys aside and walked throughout the house. He then started to come up the group of people. He saw Jasper and saw the obvious pain he was in, Carlisle kept himself in a blank state of mind for the sake of Jasper, it was the first time he would finally see him. As much as he wanted to embrace his lost son, he chose to give Jasper his space and to see what the meeting was all about.

Jasper was glad to hear that Rosalie agreed with him that the story could wait until the rest of the family was there. He was unsure whether or not he could hear the story too many times, or deal with the repeated emotions of what he expected from his family. Jasper watched as Rosalie seemed to study Alice for a few minutes but Jasper did not bother to turn back to his ex-wife already imagining what her face appeared to be.
Jasper listened as Rosalie quickly tapped out a text message to the rest of the family that was not yet at the house. Jasper tried to relax and slipped his hands into his pockets as he waited for the rest of the family to appear. He could feel Alice’s emptiness beginning to fill with joy and Jasper could feel the question on his lips of what Alice was thinking about. Jasper also realized that he was going to have to face Alice alone very soon and that was not something he relished the thought of.
Jasper knew that Alice was masking her pain with the joy of whatever she may have been putting her main thoughts on. Now that he knew the truth about what had happened Jasper felt no need for the self punishment of other’s emotions. Jasper knew that he would get rid of emotions before falling again. Jasper turned to his brother when Edward entered and looked between his sisters. Jasper knew there was not much reason for Edward to come because more than likely he already knew everything that had happen. He was grateful however that Edward did come because Jasper knew that his brother would be able to keep a cool head. Since Edward would be hearing everything for a second time there was an even greater chance that Edward would be on of the rare calm ones. Edward greeted everyone and Jasper nodded his head to his brother in response. Once again seeing Edward’s gift as a blessing Jasper thought, ‘I am sorry for everything Edward.’
Jasper glanced at the back door and knew that it was Bella before she entered the living room. As he knew Bella would his sister-in-law went straight to her husband and slipped her hand into his. Jasper nodded his greeting once again as Bella greeted Rose and he. Jasper watched as Bella looked up at Edward and he could feel frustration edging from her. He almost grinned knowing that Bella was frustrated that her husband already knew what was going to happen. A moment later Bella asked, “So what is the reason we are here?” Jasper glanced at Rosalie before explaining, “There is some information that has been discovered this past week and the family needs to know what is going on.”
Jasper quietly waited wondering who the next member of the family would walk through the door. His wondering was answered a few moments of silence later when Carlisle came through the front door. Jasper felt a slight smile grace his face when he turned to see Carlisle. Carlisle along with Esme had become a soft spot for him and he had missed both of them deeply while he had been gone. Jasper smiled slightly at his adopted father that he had not seen in months, “Hello Carlisle.” After a few moments of more silence Jasper looked around at everyone present knowing most everyone gathered knew what had happened.
Jasper was not sure how much longer he would be able to wait on the rest of the family. He knew that Carlisle would be able to talk with Esme and that most likely Rosalie would tell Emmett or already had. Truth being Jasper wasn’t sure if he could handle being in the room when Esme found out. He knew that it would hurt her and because she was so kind and loving to everyone, Jasper hated to be any cause of that pain. Jasper also had a feeling that Nessie would remain at home and he knew that her parents could both fill her in to what had happened. Jasper turned to Rosalie, “Rose maybe you should go ahead and tell them. Everyone else can be filled in later.” Knowing how the story would be going Jasper quietly walked to the stairs and sat down waiting for Rosalie to begin.

Edward watched as Bella entered the room behind him. He smiled at her as she took he hand. Edward watched as she took in the room and greeted Rose and Jazz. Edward knew that Bella would be wondering what was going on and that she would know that he already knew. Edward had heard when Rose first told Jasper. He had already had time to process the anger that he felt at Lexie for ripping his family apart.
Edward took Bella's hand and kissed it as he pulled her down into his lap. He knew that he would need to be very close to her when Rose began to tell the story again. Edward heard Jasper's thought in his head and smiled at his brother as he nodded. Edward was glad to have Jasper home no matter what happened. Edward watched as their father entered the house and came into the living room. Edward knew that this was the first time that Carlisle, was getting to see Jasper since his return. Edward also know that their father was glad that he was home.
When Jasper spoke to Rose, Edward turned his attention back to his sister and the story that was going to change the family forever. He knew that Rose was worried about Jasper and that their bond was closer than ever before.

Rosalie watched her twin and moved as he moved. She had not left his side in so long that she was orienting herself around him. She was so close to him and worried about him that when him moved so did she. Rose was closer to Jasper than ever before, they were acting more like twins now than before he left. Rose realized that the separation and reunion had affected them both in ways that they had not even realized. She watched as Edward, Bella and Carlisle all came into the house. She heard Edward greet her and before she could answer him Bella greeted her and Jasper too. "Hello" Rose said. She listened as her brother spoke and moved with him as he sat on the stairs. Rose was standing beside the stairs and him. Rose knew that is was time for her to tell the family to story and those that were not there could be filled in by the others. Rose looked down at her twin and reached out to take his hand. She knew that he would need her strength to get through her telling the story again. She would be there for him and support him.
Rose looked away from her twin and at the rest of the family that was there as she started the story. "Before I killed Lexie, she confessed something to me that everyone needs to know. It changes everything that we thought." Rose stopped for a minute to take and deep breath and check on her twin before she continued with the story. "I think that she thought if she told me the truth that I would not kill her but that just made me want to kill her all the more." Rose said with a bit of the old Rose slipping out as she talked about Lexie. "She knew who and what we were when she and Ronnie came here. She sat her sights on Jasper from the very beginning and when Alice left for London, Lexi made her move. She had been going to a bar in town for a while and was seeing some other male vampire. She did not tell me his name though." Rose said as she squeezed her twins hand to let him know that she was still there for him. "She found out that she was pregnant and then she made her move. Lexie already knew what would happen to Jasper when he tried to use his power on her. She had done her homework on the whole family." Rose said as she took another deep breath and turned to look at her twin again as she finished the story. "Lexie had been at the bar that night looking for the other vampire, when she did not find him, she came here and put her plan into motion. When Jasper blacked out after trying to calm her, she staged the room to make it look like they slept together." Rose said reaching out with her other hand to take Jasper's and knelling down to look into his eyes, she knew how hard it was for him to listen to the story again and she knew that their connection was what was holding him together. She continued to talk to the family as she looked into her twins eyes. "When Jasper came too, she knew what he would think and what the family would think and do. She lied to every one. The truth is the the twins are not Jasper's. He never slept with Lexie and he never cheated on Alice." Rose finished the story as she stood up and pulled Jasper up from the steps with her, never letting go of either of his hands. She stood there with him waiting for him to be strong enough to talk to the rest of the family. She whispered so low that only he would hear her. "I am right here with you."

Bella gave a half-hearted smile as Edward pulled her into his lap.Being near him had no doubt made her happy, but she could tell from the tension in the room that it was not an appropriate time to burst into a smile and kiss him. Bella sat motionless as she listened to everything that Rosalie had said. Her mouth opened slightly as she narrowed her eyebrows, watching Jasper as Rosalie attempted to comfort him. Bella felt a sudden amount of anger rise in her chest as she thought about everything that her family had been through because of this lie. Alice was no doubt, looking at herself as the one who had been unfaithful in their relationship. She frowned as she considered the pain that Jasper must be feeling right now, having to abandon his family when he was being played all along. “Jasper, I am so sorry,“ She spoke quietly as she looked at him, not entirely knowing what else to say at the moment until she could tell what was going to happen from that point on. There was no way she could imagine how he was feeling at this moment, turning on his family all over a lie. It was different when he thought that he had actually blame to be placed upon him, but she couldn’t understand how hard it must be for him to know that he had done nothing wrong. Bella looked away from Jasper for the first time since Rosalie had begun to explain what had happened and how they had all been deceived. She turned in Edward’s lap to face him. She looked into his eyes, hoping he would tell her whether or not this was all true. Bella felt her hand tighten around his. It was twisted to her, that she could almost handle putting her family back together had the children actually been Jasper’s, but it suddenly seemed so unfair that her family had been targeted and torn apart for absolutely no reason other than some crazy human’s intentions. She bit the inside of her lip as she looked back into his eyes, lowering her shield as she looked at him. ‘Edward.. Is it possible that our family has suffered,’ She looked at Jasper and gave a pained expression before she looked to Edward again, ‘ And will clearly continue to suffer, because of some lie?’ She felt her heart break instantly for Jasper and Alice. Though the situation had affected the entire family, it was painful to see what this single lie had caused in one of the greatest relationships she had ever seen. She looked over to Alice, and from the many talks that Alice and she had shared, she knew entirely how she had felt about Evan after Jasper. She held in her breath, knowing how Alice would react to all of this news, though she hoped Jasper would forgive her and understand why she had attempted to move on from what she thought was the truth, she knew that Alice forgiving herself would be a much harder goal to obtain. She licked her lips before she looked back to Edward, ‘What if we can’t come back from this?’ She bit the inside of her lip again as she looked at him nervously. Bella knew that he would understand the way she had phrased this. Of course Jasper was a part of her family, and she would always love him. At the same time, if Alice never forgave herself for what happened, their family wouldn’t be the same.

Edward sat there with Bella in his lap as he listened again to the story that Rosalie had told Jasper at the river. Edward knew the implications on this to the family and knew that it was going to be a hard decision about the children but they were not to that point yet. Edward heard Bella apologize to Jasper and knew that she would be looking to him to confirm the story that Rosalie had just told. Edward looked at Bella as he heard her thoughts knowing the she had lowered her shield to speak to only him. Edward nodded slowly to Bella and knew that they would have to talk about this.
Edward looked to his brother. "Jasper, I am so sorry for everything that we put you through. We should have been able to see through her. I feel so guilty for our part in all of this." Edward said knowing that they had all but forced him to leave in the beginning. Edward knew that Lexie's death was a good thing and wished that he could have been there to have helped his sister torture that little devil. Edward had never wanted to harm a human the way that he did Lexie in that moment.

Jasper glanced up from the stairs to see that Bella had entered the room. Like everyone else in the room except for Rose and Edward he could feel the curiosity edging out from her. He looked at his brother Edward who seemed to understand everything and take it all in again. Jasper grinned reflectively realizing that his brother was living up to what he expected. The relaxation and love that Jasper felt flowing from Edward towards Bella made it easier to focus on how the next few moments were going to play out. Jasper then noticed Rosalie, it did not seem so odd to him because he had become so used to her presence. The way that she had shadowed him recently reminded Jasper of the time that Bella was pregnant with Nessie. He flashed back to that time and was consumed by the memories that came with it. Jasper knew however what Rosalie had been doing for him was far greater then what she had done for Bella. He knew that life had been hell and Jasper drew his strength from Rosalie.
Jasper realized that he had missed out on most of Rosalie’s re-explination of what had gone on with Lexie. "Lexie had been at the bar that night looking for the other vampire, when she did not find him, she came here and put her plan into motion. When Jasper blacked out after trying to calm her, she staged the room to make it look like they slept together." Jasper bit back the snarl with an unknown self control as he knew what that statement meant. It once again illustrated that Jasper was the weak link of the family.
The anger began churning and stabbing inside of Jasper as a picture of Lexie making her plans to destroy his life went through his head. Jasper had become her target and Lexie’s plan had worked flawlessly, ‘And why is that? Because you are the weak link of your family that’s why. You are nothing but pathetic trash.’
Jasper began to curl his hands into fist but realized that he could not finish because Rosalie had taken his hands into hers. He growled subtly hoping deep down that Rosalie would understand that his growl was in no way directed at her. Jasper pulled one of his hands from Rosalie’s and curled his free hand into a fist. It was then that he heard Rosalie whisper that she was there for him. Jasper could feel his own anger beginning to subside but Rosalie had finished her explanation of what had happened.
The anger from the others settled inside of Jasper and the fist that he had been fighting to control to unclenched, it curled back up and Jasper slammed it out to the side making contact with the wall. He listened as the wood splintered and his sensitive hearing picked up the small pieces that fell to the ground as Jasper pulled his fist from the wall. Suddenly the anger was replaced by an overwhelming sense of hurt and confusion. Jasper recognized it easily because of his own shock that the family had been ripped to shreds for no other reason than a good lie.
“Jasper I am so sorry.” Bella was the first to speak the silence and Jasper focused on all of the apologetic words of his sisters. Sadly that was not enough and Jasper began twitching again and he could feel himself beginning to subconsciously curl on himself. ‘What? Giving up, oh come on Jasper you are so much better then that.’ Unlikely words to hear from Rosalie much less inside his head but Jasper drew strength from them. Jasper drew strength from the fact that he refused to be the weak link. He squeezed Rosalie’s hand and got to his feet to look at his family in time to look at Edward when he said, "Jasper, I am so sorry for everything that we put you through. We should have been able to see through her. I feel so guilty for our part in all of this."
Jasper squeezed Rosalie’s hand again and nodded to Edward. He was not one for mushy scenes but Jasper looked across the living room at his brother and shook his head, “Edward, I promise to you that there is nothing for you to apologize for. You did what you thought was right. I would never condemn you for that.” Jasper looked around at the rest of his family that had gathered, “I mean that to everyone.”
Jasper's gaze lingered on Alice’s back that she still had to the room before he looked back to his twin. Jasper could only hope that he had done his family, and more importantly his twin proud.

Alice kept her back to the rest of the room as members of their family filed in. Hearing her brother's voice, she wasn't even able to face him as she tried to keep focused on her positive feelings about her godchild and niece. That seemed to work as the room remained relatively calm. Keeping her thoughts and emotions focused on everything else but her obvious real emotions of the moment seemed to work for the time being, but she knew that she could not hold it all off forever.
When Bella entered the mansion, she was barely able to nod back in greeting but she knew her sister would understand how uncomfortable she was in the whole situation. Soon after, Carlisle arrived and Jasper requested that Rosalie just tell who was there the truth. Rosalie obliged, but hearing it for the second time was like reliving some terrible stab to the heart, but she blocked that out for Jasper's sake. Putting a cap on her own guilt, she knew that she would deal with it later and in her own way...shopping.
Hearing her family reassure Jasper, Alice was glad. Having their family support him once again was something she had hoped for. After all they had come through and now learning the truth, Jasper deserved to have their family stand behind him again. She knew that now the family knew the truth, Jasper would be recieved back with open arms and hearts. Quietly standing in her corner, she listened as Jasper addressed all of them and particularly heard his last comment. "You did what you thought was right. I would never condemn you for that. I mean that to everyone."
Still keeping her back to everyone, Alice got herself together mentally. Come on Alice, she mentally scolded herself. Get it together. You are stronger than this and can figure all of this out. Turning around, she gave a faint smile to Jasper, knowing that she needed to give them both time to process what they had learned before they could really speak to one another. And that was one conversation she wanted to save for private. Looking at him, she gave him one look that only he would understand if he still remembered; one that meant she wasn't angry with him any longer, but still wanted to talk later. She hoped he would remember.
Turning to her family, she smiled and took a few steps toward the window. "I will leave you all to speak with Jasper," she said, her voice ringing like a bell. "I haven't hunted since before I went to Florida, so I think it's time for me to do that." With those words, she hopped through the window and began darting through the forest to hunt, pushing all thoughts out of her mind and only focusing on the hunt itself.

Bella felt motionless as she watched the small exchange in front of her. She knew that she was staring into space, but was unable to pull herself into focus. Memories from the last six months were flooding her mind and each time she wished she could have blamed Jasper were suddenly little reminders that she should have been a better sister, more understanding. She shook her head as she heard Alice begin to speak and quickly raised her eyes to meet her sisters. She didn’t say anything as Alice spoke, just gave a small nod as she climbed through the window. Bella understood that the conversation between Jasper and the rest of the Cullen family, and between Jasper and Alice would be two extremely different instances. There was so much that she knew that they needed to talk about. Bella stood from her place in Edward’s lap as she made a few steps toward Jasper. She stared down at the brother that she suddenly felt as though she had turned her back on. The sudden realization that he had never actually turned his back on them, and the feeling that she should have been a better sister came rushing over her and she felt for the first time in many years that she wished she could weep. Bella moved her hands out in front of her, in a motion to hug Jasper before she stopped herself, clenching her fists. She dropped her hands to her side, as she had forced herself to remember to not touch him when she was feeling all of these things. Though she was not angry with him, by any stretch of the word, she also knew that her own pain, and disgust with herself would be transmitted over to him so much more powerful through touch. She clenched her jaws as she mentally tried to force those feelings in the background. She knew that at this point she had already felt too much around him. Bella placed her hands over her chest as she opened her eyes again, looking up at him. She felt an overwhelming sense of love come pouring from her heart towards her brother as a soft , half-hearted smile came across her lips. “Jasper, I will be a better sister to you.” She gave an ashamed look as she looked into his eyes. She knew in her heart that he would be staying from a previous conversation that they had held earlier, but it amazed her the feeling it was to have him here and almost feeling as though she was the one who now needed his acceptance, “ You are my brother, no matter what this life brings us. I love you, and I will never be able to make this up to you,” Bella looked down as she narrowed her eyebrows, forcing back the guilt that she felt in her heart, and instead focused on the large amount of love that was pulsing from her body.

Edward could hear the anger in Jasper's thoughts but he could also hear the other thoughts that Jasper was have and that troubled Edward. He had never thought of his brother as the weak link in the family, after all Edward was the one that fell in love with a human. Edward knew that Jasper was hurting and wanted to comfort his brother, but was unsure of what to say to him. Edward did not want to betray Jasper's thoughts to the rest of the family. "Jasper, do not think like that. It is not true." Edward finally said to his brother, knowing that it would not betray the thoughts themselves. "We have discovered over the years that there are those that our powers don't work on. So it is not hard to figure that there may be those that cause our powers to do things that we never considered." Edward said as he thought about how he could not hear Bella unless she wanted him to. "We all know that Bella's shield stops me from being able to hear her and that it worked even when she was a human. Your power is so different from others that we could not have known that there would be someone out there that could block you." Edward said trying to comfort his brother.

Rose watched as she finished with the story and know that Jasper was getting anger again. She heard the snarl that came from him and felt as he pulled one of his hand free from her. Rose knew that Jasper was going to need her to stay calm and to try to calm him. She watched as he punched the wall and almost smiled. That was something that she would have done. She knew that Esme was always getting on to her for destroying things in the house. Rose felt Jasper squeeze the hand that he was holding and she smiled at him. "I am still her, Jazz. We will get through this together." Rose reminded her brother. She knew that he was going to need her there.
Rose listened to the rest of the family as they reacted to what she had said. Rose knew that the family would be as stunned at they were when they found out. Rose watched as Alice left and knew that she needed to distance her self from Jasper so that she could react to the information without hurting Jasper. Rose was thankful to Alice for that. Rose did not like to see Jasper in pain, he was her twin and she would not stand for someone hurting him. Rose knew that Edward could hear every thought that she had but did not care at that moment. Jasper was her only concern. "We still have other things to deal with, that this truth as caused. We have to decide how to deal with the children and what should we tell them." Rose said as she turned back to her twin. She knew that in the end the decision about the twins, should be his. "Jasper, I think that in the end the final decision about the twins, should be yours as they think that you are their father. They are innocent and just children. We should at least give them a safe home to grow up in." Rose said to her brother as she watched from any sign that he was going to collapse again.

Jasper felt his own small sense of relief that Alice did not buckle like she had the first time she found out the truth. He knew it would not be long before he would have to face her for a more private discussion. He could sense the comfort from Alice that his talking seemed to provide. Jasper glanced to see that Alice seemed to have her back permanently turned towards the family that was gathered. He did not miss the faint smile that Alice gave him in addition to the look that Jasper knew meant that she wanted to talk. Jasper remembered the feeling from a second ago knowing that Alice would want to talk in private without anyone else there. Alice then said that she needed to go hunting and Jasper then remembered the fire burning in his throat and fought with himself to focus on his family that was gathered. Jasper’s attention was turned back towards the rest of the family when Bella moved.
Bella had moved from Edward’s lap and walked towards Jasper as if to hug him. Jasper could feel himself tense up with what was about to happen but Bella seemed to remember and stopped herself. Bella then seemed to have a better sense of what was going on around her and began to calm down. Suddenly the near crippling anger and frustration that had taken over began to melt away. Jasper looked to Bella just as she promised, “Jasper, I will be a better sister to you.” After a few moments anger began to cripple Jasper again as Bella said, “You are my brother, no matter what this life brings us. I love you, and I will never be able to make this up to you.” Jasper shook his head and he felt as if he had been doing that so often lately that he had turned into a broken bobble head. “Bella you have nothing to apologize for.”
Jasper truly felt that and a quick glance to Edward, ‘That means you as well Edward.’ He looked back to Bella, as he could feel her love over take most of her pain. Love as complicated as it could be was one of Jasper’s favorite things to be around because it could so easily drown out all other emotions. As Jasper looked over to Edward he easily remembered his brother’s gift. Jasper’s memory was illustrated when Edward said, "Jasper, do not think like that. It is not true." Jasper felt a ghostly smile on his face as he thought, ‘All this time away and I almost forgot about your gift.’ Edward spoke again a few moments later and explained how it could have happened to anyone of them. In his own way Jasper knew that Edward was doing his best to comfort his brother, and it was helping in a way. ‘Thank you Edward, but I don’t know that I am able to feel peace about all of this just yet.’
The conversation changed its course, "We still have other things to deal with, that this truth as caused. We have to decide how to deal with the children and what should we tell them." Jasper felt his jaw unintentionally clench as he started to remember why they had to have this conversation. He fought to focus as Rosalie added, "Jasper, I think that in the end the final decision about the twins, should be yours as they think that you are their father. They are innocent and just children. We should at least give them a safe home to grow up in." Jasper thought about the two beautiful children that he had been lead to believe were his. He was not sure what should be done with them. In a sense he knew that they were completely innocent and that they did not deserve the mother they had been given, and that the only family they had known was the Cullens.
Jasper was also uncertain because of the fact that they were not his children and that by all rights he should not have had anything to do with them. He looked around at his family and to Rosalie before speaking, “I honestly do not know what to do with the children.”
