Rose did not slow down until she was back on Cullen land. She wanted to go straight to the house and find Emmet, but she had to deal with her brother first. She knew that this was going to crush, Jasper in more ways than one. Rose knew that Jasper loved the twins, after all they had just rescued them from Lexie. Now Rose had to tell Jasper that everything that he has believed for the last half a year was a lie and that he never cheated on Alice. Rose knew that this was going to have a serious impact on Jasper.
Rose made it to there spot before he did and she figured that he was having to deal with the family and the kids. Rose wished that she could be there to help her twin, but this had to be done first. Rose sat on the rock and waited for Jasper to show up. This spot was were they had all of their serious twin talks at.

Jasper had gone back to the house for a short time after he had left the children with his brother. He realized that Rosalie could be back almost any time now if she was not back already. Jasper was not concerned where he would need to meet Rosalie at the river, because he already knew where she would go. Whenever they wanted to talk privately and have twin time Rosalie and Jasper would meet at a rock at the river’s edge. Jasper left the mansion and ran to where he hoped that Rosalie was waiting. He wanted to get back to the house and was anxious to get everything back to the closest to normal as they could become. Jasper knew however that what Rosalie had to say must have been extremely important. He reached the rock after a few moments to see Rose was there waiting.
Jasper could feel concern surrounding Rosalie and he could also feel an edge to her. He was worried that what Rosalie had done to Lexie had changed her and Jasper went to his twin’s side with a frown clearly on his face. Jasper sat down in front of her and asked, “Rose what’s wrong?”

Rose watched as her twin sat down in front of her. She knew that he was going to worried about her. She had to tell him and she did not want to do it in front of the family. Rosalie saw the concern in her twins eyes. "Stop worrying about me Jasper. I am fine with what I did to her. She will never bother us again." Rosalie said to Jasper as she looked into his eyes. Rosalie knew that this would be the hardest thing that she ever had to do. She knew that Jasper loved the twins as much as she loved Maden. She only hoped that they could find away through this.
Rosalie took a deep breath to calm herself. She looked deep into her twins eyes and lifted her hand to place it on his cheek. Rosalie knew that she had never touched Jasper like that before, but she needed his complete attention. She needed him to fell her emotion as she told him. Rosalie knew Jasper's power and knew that contact with the person made it stronger. "Jasper, Lexie confessed something to me right before I killed her. I think that she thought I would spare her if she told me the truth. I have to tell you now what she said. It is important that you know." Rose stopped long enough for Jasper to comprehend what she was trying to get across to him. She needed him to know how serious and important this was.

Jasper only nodded as Rosalie said, "Stop worrying about me Jasper. I am fine with what I did to her. She will never bother us again." He could feel that she was genuine about what she was saying and he was more than willing to believe her. Rosalie then stunned Japer as she put a hand to the side of his face; something that she had rarely ever done. Right then the anxiousness that had left came back tenfold in his own self, and what he was feeling from Rosalie. Now that she had her hand on his face Rosalie’s emotions were pounding through Jasper. If it were possible for him Jasper would have been getting sick to his stomach.
The close bond he had with Rosalie as her twin intensified his sensitivity to her feelings, and now that she was touching the side of his face it made the bond even stronger. He could feel pain, frustration, and a bit of fear. That put Jasper on edge since the subject was clearly going towards Lexie and his children. Jasper bit back a snarl when Lexie was mentioned and he tried to patiently listen to whatever Rose was building up to. He was suddenly impatient to find out whatever Rose was building up to, but the fact she was not able to tell him straight out of the gate had Jasper closer to the edge. “Rose you know that you can tell me anything right? Whatever it is cannot be that bad.” Jasper was trying to fool himself ore than anything because he knew that Rose wouldn't be doing all of this if it was good.

Rose heard her twin and almost wanted to laugh at him. She knew that what she was fixing to tell him was going to change everything and that he was going to be very anger. She was not sure that she could control him if he went crazy. "Jasper, I want you to listen to me very carefully and not to go crazy on me." Rose said to him, hoping that he would be able to control himself better than she had. "Jasper, Lexie lied about everything." Rose started off. She knew that he would not understand what she was saying at first so she continued quickly. Rose took a deep breath and let everything flood out of her. "Lexie knew what we were from the begin. She was sneaking out the the bar everynight. She was sleeping with some other vampire, that was in town. He manage to keep away from us somehow." Rose thought about that and knew that she needed to talk to Edward and Bella about that. "Lexie set her sights on you for some reason that I am not totally sure of. When she figured out that she was pregnant, she came up with the entire plan. She knew that you blacked out when you tried to control her emotions." Rose stopped long enough for another deep breath and to look into her twins eyes again. "When you blacked out, Lexie set the stage to make you believe that you slept with her." Rose looked deep into her twins eyes and finished the telling him. "Jasper, you never slept with her. That means that the twins are not yours and that you were not unfaithful to Alice."
When she finished she just sat there with her brother and waited of the reaction that she knew was coming. Rose was not sure of how Jasper would react, but she knew that he would. She would be there for him now and support him in any way that she could. Rose knew that this was not going to be easy for Jasper to process.

Jasper could feel a flicker of humor inside of Rosalie and he figured it was due to the way that he was acting. Which he had to admit was quite different to his regular behavior of being calm, cool, and collected. Jasper felt a smirk edge on his face when Rose wanted him to promise that he would not go crazy, “I’ll do my best Rose.” "Jasper, Lexie lied about everything." Rosalie slammed Jasper with those five words. Then Jasper was unsure if he heard her correctly or not and he subconsciously leaned forward to listen to the whirlwind of Rosalie’s explanations. It felt like an eternity before he could understand what Rosalie had just said to him. ‘You never cheated on Alice.’ played like a record in his head. Jasper then for a slightly unknown reason Jasper hugged his twin whispering over and over, “Thank-you Rose.” Half way through what seemed to be the millionth time he thanked Rosalie it hit him what had just happened; more or less what Rosalie had just told him.
Taking another nanosecond to process everything Jasper got to his feet and walked a few steps away from Rosalie, turning his back to her. Jasper hands curled into fist and he could feel his fingers digging into his palms. Jasper gaze zeroed in on the closest tree as he began to pound into the trunk. It of course split after the first punch but Jasper’s rage was not satisfied until he had turn the massive tree into a pile of toothpicks. He looked around with a snarl as he felt himself slipping further away from being Jasper Cullen and closer to the vampire warrior that he had been in the south all those decade ago. Jasper decimated at least countless trees and boulders before his promise to Rosalie began to seep into his mind. Jasper then began to allow himself to feel and process how he had felt over the time that had past since that night he thought he had slept with Lexie.
Jasper crumpled to the ground and pounded his fist into the dirt several time as he felt a strangled cry escape his lips. Jasper could not believe that he had lost everything in his life that ever meant something to him. He had finally snapped of everything as his body began to shake with the tearless sobs. Jasper was past the part of trying to fix anything. Jasper was finally broken.

Rose sat there when she finished and was shocked when Jasper hugged her and started thanking her. She knew that it had not sank in yet as to the implications of everything. Rose just waited for the anger that she knew was coming. Rose knew her twin to well and knew that he was a lot like her. Rose felt him pull away and then walk away from her. She knew that this was it. She watched as Jasper started to destroy the forest. They were defiantly to much alike. Esme was not going to have a forest left and the rate the Rose and Jasper were taking out the trees.
Rose just sat there and watched Jasper. She knew that he would run through the emotions much faster than she did. Rose knew that Jasper was going to need her and she would be there for him, till the very end. When Rose saw Jasper crumple to the ground and start crying the tearless cry of a vampire, she knew that was it. Rose would have cried to if she did not have to be strong for him. Rose simple walked over to where he was on the ground and wrapped her arms around him. "I am here for you Jasper. I will never leave you for as long as we live and are still twins. We will get through this together." Rose said as she started to rock back and forth with Jasper. "I have always been at your side when you needed me and I will be there now if that is what you need." Rose realized as she spoke just how much they meant to each other. Jasper was the only one that could effect Rose in a way that made her hurt for another. Rose knew that even Emmett could not make her hurt like she was now for her twin. "Jasper, we have a lot to figure out but it does not have to all be right now." Rose said as she pulled her brother tighter to her.

After Jasper had pounded into the ground leaving a hole to start forming in the ground he curled on himself. He had curled up into a ball and while Jasper was stuck in the constant and vicious circle of what his life had become. Suddenly Jasper felt someone wrap their arms around him and then he heard Rosalie say, "I am here for you Jasper. I will never leave you for as long as we live and are still twins. We will get through this together." Jasper huddled against Rosalie as she cradled him and spoke to him again. This time he did not take in what she was saying because he was too busy trying to get rid of the pain inside of him. Jasper held onto Rosalie knowing that he would never get through this moment alone and he wasn’t sure if he could make it any further without his twin.
Rosalie was his life raft at that moment and Jasper knew that if Rosalie left or he let go Jasper might as well throw himself into the nearest fire. Jasper wanted desperately to get rid of this feeling inside of him, but much as it was before it would be near impossible. Jasper was finally able to begin to wrap his mind around what was going on when Rosalie’s empathetic pain blanketed Jasper. Instead of sending him into a spiral of pain, Jasper was able to listen to what Rosalie was telling him, "Jasper, we have a lot to figure out but it does not have to all be right now." Jasper shook his head, “I don’t know if I can Rose. I don‘t know what to do. Just tell me how to fix it Rose, I‘ll do anything you tell me just tell me how I fix it.” Jasper felt himself starting to crack again as he rambled off to his beloved twin.

Rosalie knew that Jasper was in serious pain and for that she hated herself for having to be the one to tell him the truth and cause the pain, but more than ever she hated Lexie. Rosalie wished that she had tortured her more before killing her. Rosalie knew that by killing Lexie, she was getting off light. Rosalie should have made her tell the family the truth before her demise. Rosalie cradled her twin and knew that he was going to need her strength and coldness, if he was going to get through this. When Jasper finally started to talk again, Rosalie could hear the pain in his voice.
Rosalie continued to hold her twin as she answered him. "We will deal with one thing at a time Jasper." Rosalie knew that they would have to face the issues together, Jasper was not strong enough with out her. Rosalie knew that she would have to stay close to him until he was himself again, and that might be a while. Rosalie thought for a minute about what to stay to Jasper that would help him. Finally she knew exactly what to say. "Jasper, you are much older than me and have leaved a longer life as an immortal, but you left your old life behind and joined our family. From that time on we have be twin, but now you need to think like the military officer that you once were." Rosalie knew that this was hard for Jasper, but she needed him to be strategic and plan. Rosalie knew that to get through everything they would have to organize and plan how to handle things and in what order to handle them. "Jasper, what is the most important issue that we have to fix? That is the one that we deal with first and then work our way through the rest." Rosalie thought about everything that happened to the family and to Jasper and Alice. She knew that Jasper not only need her but that he need Alice. Without Alice, Jasper was not himself. Alice was the one that completed him, just as Emmett was for her.
Rosalie sat her twin up so that she could look into his eyes. "First we have to fix things between you and Alice. That means that you are going to have to talk to her and tell her, unless you want me too. I am the one that Lexie confessed to. I will tell Alice if you feel that you are not strong enough." Rosalie said to Jasper as she tried to be strong for him. Rosalie had never been the one in the family that tried to keep things together. For the most part Rosalie was the self-centered one that only cared about her self. Rosalie knew that she was changing again and was not sure of herself, but she could not deal with that issue now. She had to help her twin. "Jasper, Alice is the most important issue, but after that we have to figure out what to do about the children. They are not yours but we don't know who the father is, just some random vampire. They are innocent so we can just throw them out. These are decisions that should be made by the whole family, though. You have to decide what you want and then the family has to decide what is best of the whole." Rosalie said to him, trying to prioritize everything that they had to do. Rosalie knew that Jasper still had to deal with the rest of the family that had not seen him before they left, but she knew that she would be there to hold him up if he needed her to. "We will take this one step at a time, and I will be here with you through it all." Rosalie said to him as she stood up and pulled him up with her.

Jasper could feel Rosalie’s pain increase as he pleaded with her to tell him what to do. He could also feel regret coloring Rosalie’s pain. She continued to hold onto Jasper as his tearless sobs and convulsions seemed to go on forever. He did not want to listen to Rosalie’s first comment but he fought down his own panic to listen to his twin. Jasper defiantly listened at the right time because the most truthful and beautiful words that he had ever heard from his twin. As Rosalie continued to speak to Jasper he was able to slowly find his focus. Rosalie had never been the first one anyone in the family had gone to for comfort and at that point Jasper was confused why. He then found himself reflecting on the fact that he was her twin and even though she had forgiven him Jasper had wondered how deep that forgiveness was.
The mere fact that Rosalie was sitting next to Jasper and holding him like he were a baby told Jasper he truly had his twin back. That lead to his next realization of what Rosalie had just told him; Jasper needed to be the soldier. Now that Rose had been the one to hold him it was high time for Jasper to stand on his own, no stand with his family and find a way to fix things. "We will take this one step at a time, and I will be here with you through it all." Jasper closed his eyes and took in every blessed word that Rosalie had just spoken to him. His twin was counting on him and he would rather throw himself onto the closest flame then disappoint her again. Jasper pointless sobs halted the instant he realized, ‘I am Jasper Hale. I am Jasper Hale.’ Jasper uncurled himself from his twin and he supported himself while looking at the ground whispering, “I am Jasper Hale.” Jasper slowly stood to his feet as he bubbled every emotion besides the determination inside of himself and sent it away. In a stronger voice Jasper stated, “I am Jasper Hale.” He looked down at his sister with a grin and held down a hand, “Come on Rose I think we have a few things to do.” Jasper knew whatever was about to come as a result of walking back into the Cullen household, he knew that it would be alright. Rosalie was there to help him and Jasper somehow knew that things would be different this time around.

Rose watched as her twin changed in front of her. She knew that her words had helped him and for that she felt a small amount of pride. She heard Jasper say the words that brought joy to her heard. "I am Jasper Hale." Rose knew that she twin was back and that they could face anything together. When Jasper offered her his hand she took it and stood at his side. "You are ready now and I am here with you. I will not be far away from you, until you are ready for me to be." Rose said as she smiled at her twin.

Jasper could feel the pride glow from Rosalie and he knew it had to do with his change in attitude. Feeling her pride Jasper knew he could not go back to how it had been before. Jasper loved his twin with every piece left of his heart and he knew that without her he would not have been able to accomplish anything that he had the last week. Rosalie was his rock and after everything that had happened Jasper knew that he could come to her with any problem he would ever have.
Jasper refused to go through the disappointment of his twin again, and he was more then willing to prove that he deserved the last name Hale. He stepped back towards Rosalie and put his free hand on the side of her face and leaned forward long enough to kiss her forehead. Jasper grinned and pulled Rosalie towards the mansion, “Come on twin we have some good news to break to the rest of the family.” Jasper was trying to sound more confident then he actually felt but he knew that Rosalie would understand.

Rose knew that her twin was trying to be comfident and to draw strength from her. She was there for him and would stand by him through it all. Rose knew that Jasper was different that before, but that only seemed to make them closer. Rose laughed when his kissed her forehead and pulled her toward the house. "Ok, Jasper. I am coming. We will tell the others." Rose said to him. She knew that he was ready to get this over with. Rose walked with her brother to the mansion and into the living room. "Ok, so we have to get Alice here now." She said to him. She knew that Alice was the first one that they need to tell and that it needed to be without the rest of the family there.

The twins patiently made their way towards the mansion. Jasper was not in any huge rush to go back and face his entire family with the old news, and now that they knew the truth of the matter Jasper was anxious. He was not sure how to tell everyone what had occurred the last week much less the news he had received not more then an hour ago. They finally made it into the house where Rosalie said, "Ok, so we have to get Alice here now." Jasper took in a sharp breath that was unnecessary but he nodded to his twin, “Alright Rose.”
Jasper squeezed Rosalie’s hand to let her know she was still needed there as he let go of her hand. Jasper pulled his cell phone out of his pocket amazed that it was in one piece. He texted Alice, "Alice, its me. I have to talk to you at the mansion before the rest of the family gets here. - Jasper Hale." Jasper could feel the anticipation slowly building as he tried to think of the best way to tell Alice what had happened.

Rose felt Jasper squeeze her hand and then watched as he sent a text to Alice. Rose knew that Alice would probably not be happy about Rose being there, but she was there for Jasper. Rose walked over to the back windows and stared out of them. She was not going to leave her brother as long as he wanted her there. Rose would be quite, until Jasper needed her. She was just going to stay in the shadows and Jasper would know that she was there for him. He could draw the strength that he needed to tell Alice the truth.
