The Situation...[Jasper/Ronnie/Lexie/Edward]

Bella sighed heavily. It had been years since she'd revisited the day Renesmee was born in her mind; at least the horror part of it. "You are correct in your assumption," she began, looking into Lexie's wide chocolate eyes that strangely reminded her of her own as a human. "During my pregnancy, Renesmee broke several of my bones and drained me of all the physical energy I had. That was before we figured out that she needed blood," she paused momentarily to prepare the next part of her story. "When my daughter was born, she literally broke my spine and effectively killed me. Edward and Jacob had to cut her out of me. After she was out, Edward injected venom directly into my heart to save me, which made me into a vampire like the rest of the family."

That had been the PG version of everything that went down that day so many years ago, but Bella did not want to completely freak Lexie out nor have Veronica overreact. After explaining the birth to Lexie, Bella got up from the couch and walked over to Jasper, looking him directly in the eye. "You will not let her leave after that child is born," she said in a voice so low that only Jasper could hear it. "That baby inside of her is your child whether you like it or not. Therefore, you are going to help her raise it."

Jasper just stared at Bella sternly and muttered, "You can't tell me what to do. And I'm not going to diminish her wishes." Then Edward came in and pulled Bella aside. Jasper was going back to sit by Lexie when he heard Edward say "twins". His head popped up. He listened to Edward and Bella talk more and asked, "Wait! Twins? And since when do you get to break my uncontrollable mistakes to the family? If anyone should do it, I should." Jasper stormed out up to his room. Hopefully Alice wasn't there.

Alexandra and Veronica on the other hand were not surprised that she was carrying twins. It was sorta of tradition on their side of the family. Alexandra started to cry tears of joy. "Another pair of Swan twins." She sniffled once and turned to Edward, "What are they saying, Edward?"

Edward knew that telling the family was not going to be easy but that it must be done. "I know that this is going to be hard, but we have to tell them. We can not hide it from them." Edward heard Bella mention Rose and knew that she was right. Rosalie was more than likely going to be pissed at Jasper, though with Rose who knew how she would react to something. After all Jasper was her twin, she could always take his side. "I am not sure how Rose is going to take the news. We will have to deal with that as it comes." He said looking into her eyes.

Edward was shocked when Jasper appeared. Edward was sure that he and Bella were talking to low for any of them to hear. Edward looked at Jasper and knew that he was going to have to break his silence to his brother. After months of not talking to him, Edward was going to have to deal with him. Edward took a deep breath and turned to face Jasper. Edward spoke in a very firm and authoritative voice. "Jasper, you have been my brother for almost a century now, but you are not thinking clearly right now. It is our right as the Royal couple to decide things together as well as I am the second oldest member of this family. We will make our decisions based on what is best for this family as a whole and that included Lexie and Ronnie." Edward know that his brother was upset but he was not in a mood to care at that moment. Edward had never wanted to have to pull rank on his siblings but Jasper had left him no choice. Edward watched as Jasper stormed off up the stairs to his room. Edward would deal with him later. Edward turned back to Bella and said, "I think we could call the family home.'

Edward walked back into the house and looked at Lexie, he had heard her. "They are happy, right now." He said in atender voice to her about the twins thoughts.

Bella was done talking to Jasper at this point. He was being beyond stupid in how he was handling the situation where Lexie's life was hanging in the balance; not to mention the lives of his children. Lowering her shield, she thought to Edward in a stern voice, I swear to God if he continues to talk to me like that when I'm the only one helping him, I'm gonna go off on him. Bella was tired of being treated like she was the villian for making Jasper do what was right. She wasn't about to let him just 'get off the hook' unscathed and not have the responsibility of raising his children that he helped create, regardless of the circumstances that brought them about.

"I agree that we call the family home," she said aloud and turned to Edward. "But leave Alice alone. I've already told her and she is dealing with this in her own way. I can't stand to see her hurt by facing him while everyone finds out what he's done." Bella knew that she would not be able to handle her sister's expression as the rest of the family reacted to Jasper's infidelity. That was something that she didn't want to face or put Alice through. She loved her sister too much to subjugate her to that.

"Bella?" Alexandra asked, sitting up on her elbows. "Why does everyone hate Jasper now? He couldn't control himself if he blacked out. And if you guys are vampires then you should have a little more sympathy for him. Besides, this Alice of his should be the most understanding and so should you, Edward. You both had limitations to your power. You had Bella. And Alice has half-vampires and werewolves. So what if I'm Jasper's limitation? What's the big deal?"

Veronica looked at her sister and rolled her eyes. "You should really stop talking." She stood up and went into the kitchen to get something to eat.

Bella heard Alexandra's question and turned to face her. "I don't hate Jasper," she replied shortly before continuing her thoughts. "But what he has done to my sister is beyond repairable. It broke her heart and if you've ever suffered a broken heart like that, then you know what she is feeling. Alice is a very forgiving person, but this kind of hurt is not something you can easily just forgive and forget." Bella knew that there was so much more she could say, but didn't. She bit her tongue and held it back.

"And I do not agree with how he is handling this situation," she said, finally deciding to voice some of her opinion. "The way I was raise says that if you get a girl pregnant, regardless of the circumstances surrounding the pregnancy, you take care of that girl and the baby." Once Bella had said her peace, she stopped talking, giving Alexandra a little to think on herself.

Alexandra blew a raspberry. "Not in this day and age honey." She sat up completely now. "And who says it's not "repairable"?" She made a quotation movement with her fingers on both hands. "Emmett had an affair with a woman when Rosalie went away and he didn't get shit from it! And he has a kid now and no one was made at him! What makes Jasper any different?!" She didn't mean to be defending his case, but she felt as a member of the guilty party that she should stand up for her friend, even if it meant hurting Bella in the process. She didn't want to, but if that's what it took to get them to see that it was all her fault that Jasper was the innocent bystander, that's what she would do.

Bella narrowed her eyes. "Emmett and Rosalie's situation is different," she replied curtly. "They were officially separated and they both knew that. Alice just needed some space, so there was no official separation equal on her end. While she was in London, she never once cheated on Jasper. So do not assume anything..." Bella had to back off before she started getting really irritated.

Taking a moment to recompose herself, she stepped away and toward the back door. Everything she loved was falling apart because of this. It was not fair.

Alexandra just crossed her arms in a pout.

Veronica walked back in with a turkey and cheese sandwhich and Lay's potato chips on a paer plate and a glass of Coke in her other hand. She sat it down infront of Lexie, having taken a bite of the sandwhich which she was chewing in her mouth. "Take what you want. I'm not that hungry. I think I'm more nauseus that anything. This whole situation is making me sick." Her mouth was full as she spoke. She swallowed.

Alexandra took the sandwhich and took a bite. She felt one of the babies kicking. She giggled. "It's kicking. One of them is kicking Ronnie."

Veronica felt her sister's stomach and felt the little tap. "Wow, it's not a strong little sucker, that's for sure."

Hearing Veronica and Alexandra get excited about one of the babies kicking brought back an intense memory for Bella from her human life. The first time Renesmee ever "nudged" her while they were still on Isle Esme. At first the kicks weren't strong either, until Renesmee got bigger. Turning back toward the twins after recomposing herself she said, "They're not strong kicks now, but wait until they get bigger. This pregnancy might take your life, you do realize that don't you Lexie?"

It had taken Bella's human life, with only one child. It was hardly imaginable what would happen with the twins. Bella really didn't wish to be around to see it, but she knew she had to be because no one else in the family was going to help.

[Edward Cullen]

Edward heard Bella's thoughts as they walked back into the living room and just nodded at her. Edward agreed with her that Alice did not need to be around for this. Alice was hurting enough and for that Edward was pissed. Over the years Edward had thought of Alice as his twin even though it was just part of their human charade. When you live you life that way for so long it becomes more or less reality. Edward knew that Alice thought of him the same way and in alot of ways they did act like twins. As he and Bella entered the living room, Edward pulled out he phone and sent out a text message to the rest of the family.

"We need to have a family meeting at the mansion ASAP. Please stop whatever you are doing and come home."

Edward then sent a text just to Carlisle.

"Carlise, we need you here especially"

Edward watched the conversation between Bella and the Lexie and knew that Bella was getting anger. Lexie did not know what it meant to piss of a vampire and the temper that went with it. Edward was about to intervene when Bella walked away. Edward did not need to defend his twin with Bella around, she was defending Alice enough for the both of them. Edward smiled at Bella as her walk by.

Alexandra just ignored Bella and rubbed her stomach. She could swear she was growing at the rate the sun rose and it was so weird to see her stomach bulged out like that. I don't care if I die. But I know I won't because Jasper would never let that happen. I don't care if we're really in love or not, because we aren't, but he'd still never let me die.

All of a sudden, a bone snapped inside Lexie and she cried out in pain. Veronica jumped up and said, "Are you okay?"

After a sharp inhale, Alexandra said, "Yeah, yeah I'm fine. I just.....the pain only lasted a few seconds."

Bella heard the snap and immediately knew that it was one of Alexandra's bones. It was a sound she grew accustomed to during her own pregnancy with Renesmee. Although, it sent a shudder through her own spine because of the pain it had caused. Renesmee had broken several of her ribs with the kicking and eventually her spine. Silently, she wondered if that were going to happen to Alexandra with the twins. Renesmee barely had enough room to move and Bella wasn't much bigger than Alexandra. Edward, this insanity has got to stop, she pleaded in her mind, lowering her shield as she walked across the room to tend to Alexandra's injury.

Without saying a word, she went over to Alexandra and felt her stomach and then upward to her rib-cage. Her sensitive fingers ran across until she found what she was looking for. "It's a broken rib," she said in a matter-of-fact tone. "When Carlisle gets here, we're going to have to tape that up so it can heal." When she looked into Alexandra's eyes, she tried really hard not to have the 'I told you so' look, but it was really hard and Bella was never that good at hiding her emotions, even as a vampire. But, the fact of the matter was that she knew what she was talking about and Alexandra had no clue what she had gotten herself into. "There's going to be quite a few more broken bones as the pregnancy progresses and the babies get bigger," she explained. "And ignoring me when I try to explain something important to you isn't going to help anything. I've been through this before and know a lot more about vampiric pregnancies than you." This was a side of herself that Bella hated bringing out, but the situation had just begun to get completely out of hand.

"Who said I was ignoring you? I may not like how you're treating Jasper, but I need your help and appreciate it." Alexandra was really coming off as Jasper's mouthpiece and wasn't sure why she was still defending him. She did love him, yes, but not in that way. If things had been different when she arrived, this wouldn't have happened.

Bella looked at Alexandra with a look of uncertainty in her eyes. On one hand, she wanted to mother her and help her through this pregnancy. However, the other side of her remained fiercely loyal to Alice. That was the side that she was listening to more closely as her heart remained with her sister. It was no offense to Alexandra, but Alice was and had been her sister for the last thirty years, so the ties to Alice were stronger. She sighed deeply as she knelt down to Alexandra's level. "Nobody likes the situation we have right now," she said gently. "But I will tell you this...when I was pregnant with Renesmee, things were hard. These babies will break more of your bones and drain you of energy. However, we can base a lot more of your care off my previous experience so we know how to take care of you better." Bella looked into Alexandra's eyes softly. Some part of her was sympathetic to Alexandra.

"And as far as Jasper goes..." she continued slowly, "He is just not my priority right now. My priority is taking care of you and keeping the peace in this household." She looked one last time at Alexandra before getting up and walking back over to Edward. She rested her forhead on his shoulder in frustration. This situation was beyond out of hand and she was the only person willing to step up and do anything about it besides Edward. How long is this going to go on before someone puts their foot down to Jasper and force him to take responsibility for what he's done? she asked, lowering her shield. You and I have both tried and he refuses to listen. Maybe if we sick Rose on him... Her thoughts trailed off. Rosalie's reaction to this entire mess was going to be one that would bring back the old Rosalie...the one everyone feared.

We are starting a thread for Alice, so Bella' gonna have to, like, go hunting or something.

Veronica hiccupped four times in regular intervals and groaned. "Dammit!" she muttered and stood up to get some water in the kitchen.

Alexandra just crossed her arms. She looked down in a childish pout. "Fine." You guys can be that way. I'm sick of this crap! They all think because they're superior beings that they can boss me around and tell me what to do! I'm sick of hearing Bella's shit about when she was pregnant with Renesmee!
