Hearing that her mother was at the cottage earlier, Renesmee made a mental note to take the baby out on her first outing from the house to go visit her mother. However, her attention was distracted momentarily when her father asked something of her. Renesmee had not relived the events of that afternoon since they happened. In fact, she had blocked them out entirely since Alicia's birth, focusing her attention on being a new mother. Now her father was asking her to give those memories to him through her gift. Renesmee bit her lip anxiously and nodded her head twice before walking over to her father, placing her hands on the sides of his face gently.
Her memory flowed back quickly and into what she was showing him. She started with her decision to go for a walk because she needed to get out of the house. It flowed into the forest where Will found her and began to spit his threats. Her fear for the safety of Alicia seethed through her memory like a violent recall. Renesmee held on to show her father the moment Nathaniel, her mother, and the rest of her rescuers showed up. She showed him up until the moment her water broke and her mother got her out of the forest. Letting go, she looked into her father's eyes with tears. "I'm sorry Daddy, I can't show you anymore...that's when I went into labor and Mom took me back to the mansion." Stepping away, she heard Alicia crying in the nursery and went to retrieve her child. Walking back in with Alicia in her arms, she had regained control of herself. "Look who's awake now," she cooed, looking at her daughter while bouncing her up and down in her arms.

Sometimes being in a room full of gifted vampires still bugged Jacob himself he could not really relate to them as well , they all had a gift that a allowed them to connect on different level it was some what like what is pack had but all so different at the same time. He stood quietly no interfering with their conversation, and held on to his wife's and gently place a hand on her back. He hated the fact Eward asked Nessie to replay the day in her mind he could see it upset her.
When Alice began to cry and Nessie left the room Jacob shot Edward a look. He already knew Edward knew what he was feeling. When Nessie returned with Alicia so did Jacob's sour look and it was replaced with a smile. " There is the most precious part of me." Jacob walked up and kissed Alicia on the forehead before holding out his arms to take her. " I really miss her when I am away, even if it is just a hour.

Renesmee gently placed Alicia in Jacob's arms and kissed her forehead softly, caressing her cheek softly with her index finger. Even though Alicia was over a week old, it still did not seem like it at all. The little one in her husband's arms was a miracle in and of herself, defying nature simply by existing as the only being that had human, vampire, and wolf all in her bloodline. Gazing at her daughter, Renesmee pondered if her own parents had looked upon her with this much wonder and amazement after her birth. Certainly there was shock because they had not known vampires could even have children with humans; but was there the awe factor that she now felt for her own daughter?
Moving her eyes from her child to her husband, she cautiously reached up and kissed his cheek so not to disturb Alicia in her father's arms. "She really is a Daddy's girl," she purred, looking back down at Alicia and then to her own father. "Already has both of us wrapped around her little pinkie." Memories flickered in Renesmee's mind of the first moment she saw her mother after her transformation. Even after three days of not seeing her mother and the transformation itself had not deterred her knowledge of who her mother was. She knew, at three days old, exactly who her mother was and wanted to be held by her. Renesmee recalled the moment her mother took her into her arms for the first time and she held her little hand to the side of her face, showing her the one memory she had of her. And now, admiring her child, she thought of her own beginning and smiled. Her mother had gone through hell to bring her into the world and only now could she fully appreciate her mother's sacrifice.

Nathaniel bowed his head as Nessie once again thanked him for saving her life, and her daughter’s life. Nate then silently watched as the conversation turned towards a family discussion. He smiled as he watched the others interact, and Nate supposed that was a benefit of being a vampire he was able to see all sort of things in his life. He watched as Nessie handed Alicia to her father and Nate then remembered the promise that he and Ryssa had made to Jacob. He also realized that now it had become family time it was time for him to bow out with grace. Nathaniel politely cleared his throat, “I think now would be the best of time for me to leave. Nessie I will finish embroidering Alicia’s blanket once the situation with Crystal is taken care of.”
Nathaniel turned to Jacob before he left with a small smile, “Enjoy your vacation Jacob. Ryssa and I shall do our best to have the situation resolved so that you do not have to spend more time away from your family.” Nate bowed slightly to the room, “It was an honor to have met you Edward. Good afternoon to all.” Nate silently slipped out of the room and the front to enter the woods.

Edward knew that what he had asked of Nessie was a hard thing for her and he hated it. When she showed him, he was even more furious with Will and Crystal. Edward was going to kill his sister for her part in Will's attack. "I am sorry that it hurt you to show me that, but thank you." Edward knew from the looks and thoughts coming from Jacob, that he was not happy with Nessie hurting. Edward knew that Nessie and Jacob were bond in a deeper way than even he and Bella were, but Edward also knew that above all Nessie was his daughter and the princess for lack of a better word of the royal family. Edward would never relax until Crystal and the treat towards Nessie and Alicia were gone. Edward watched as Nessie went to get Alicia. "Jacob, I know that Nessie's pain hurts you too and for that I am sorry, but I needed to know." Edward said just before Nessie walked back in and gave Alicia to Jacob.
Edward caught Nessie's thought's about the awe she felt for Alicia and he smiled. "We were all in awe of you, my darling." He said answering the question that she had not asked. When she spoke of Alicia, Edward could not resist. "I think it is just Jacob. You were drawn to Jacob too. Though for a different reason. Bella always said that Jacob had a gravitational pull like the sun." Edward said smiling at his son-in-law. Edward would always look at Jacob as more of a brother or a son than an in law. "You have everyone wrapped around your little finger from the moment that you were born." Edward said smiling at his daughter. Edward loved her more than anything but knew that she was were she belonged.
Edward heard Nathanial clear his thought, and turned to look back at him. "It was nice to meet you as well. Come by the house soon." Edward said as he watched Nathanial head for the door. Edward knew that he needed to be leaving soon to. Edward was going to spend sometime in the woods looking for Crystal him self. Edward turned back around and looked at Nessie and Jake. "I think that I am going to leave the two of you alone with Alicia as well. I need to talk to your mother." Edward said as he kissed Nessie and Alicia and shook Jacob's hand.

Ej was still in the room and seeing everyone leave he decided to slip out also. "So ya seeing how everyone else has left to give you all so time alone, I think I should get back home. I was really nice to see you Aunt Nessie. Uncle Jake You could make her a nice dinner seeing Nate is paroling for you. See ya" EJ headed out of the bedroom then out the front door. He was glad everything was going well with the new little family. Ej like it when everyone was healthly and happy all he wanted to see now was Crystal found so that Jacob did not have to worry about the safety of his family anymore.

Jacob held Alicia is his arms contently,He smiled down at his daughter and Nessie kissed his cheek." Yes Nessie she is a daddy's girl but I wouldn't want it any other way. She is a little piece of both of us Ness there is no one I could ever love anyone like I love her, well except you," Jacob smiled at his wife kissing her on the cheek also. He then listen to what Edward said about him and how Bella said he a gravitational pull like the sun, it made him chuckle a bit. " Your father is right Ness, I almost had to fight with Rose just to be allowed to hold you". Jacob looked down at Alicia and began to remember what it was like holding on to Ness, so much had changed in their lives since then.
Realizing now that everyone was beginning to leave, Ryssa had left and now Nate was saying his goodbyes. "Thank you Nate," Jacob said then turn to Edward, "It was nice to see you Ed, thank you for everything"

When Jacob mentioned almost having to fight Rose to get to hold her, Renesmee laughed a little and remembered that. It was during the three days her mother was not awake during her transformation, so Rosalie had taken care of her. But Jacob had imprinted on her the moment he looked into her eyes for the first time. Since then, she had always known that he was her Jacob. And now, looking at her own child, she finally understood the love her mother had for her all those years ago and how protective she had been. Renesmee wanted only the best for her daughter and that included keeping her safe.
Looking at her father, she smiled and kissed his cheek. "I love you Daddy," she said softly. "Tell Mama I love her too." Pressing her hand to his cheek, she gave him a happier memory to leave with. It was of her wedding day, when he gave her away to Jacob; how happy everyone had been. That sifted into another, earlier memory from when she was a child. It was one of her walking down a beach in Seattle with her mom and Alice. All of their faces were smiling and Renesmee was swinging from their hands. Letting go, she stepped back and smiled.

Edward laughed at Jake's comment. "I would say your welcome, Jake, but I never really had a choice in the matter. The two of you were meant to be together, just as Bella and I were. Bella told you long ago that you were meant to be in her life, and neither of us understood it at the time. I know that the early days were hard for us, but I am glad that things worked out the way that they did. She was right, you were meant to be in our lives." Edward said to Jake.
Edward was thinking about that long ago day when they stood against the Volturi to defend Nessie. That was the first time that Edward had called Jacob, "his son". It was when they thought that they were going to die and Bella had told Jacob to run with Nessie. Edward knew then that Jacob would always be a part of their lives and family. He looked at Jacob and repeated those words from long ago. "Goodbye my brother, my son."
Edward turned to Nessie as she spoke to him. "I love you too, my daughter. I will tell your mother." Edward said as the memory from Nessie started. He loved it when she used her gifts and wished that she would use them more often like she did when she was younger. "Thank you for that memory. I will see you both soon." He said as he turned for the door and disappeared. Edward knew that Bella was right along and things were the way that they were supposed to be for their family.
