"Hey," EJ said in response to Jacob's joke. "Maybe she just started crying because you came home and filled up half the bedroom Uncle Jake your like a giant Sasquatch. EJ laughed the moved ot the other side of the room not wanted ot get a smack in the head. he then watched the conversation between Jacob and Nate and thought it was funny how formal they were being. Ryssa then spoke up and asked about not suppose to being bit by a vampire. EJ knew all the facts about that."Vampire venom is suppose to kill us but I guess Jake is just tougher then the rest of us and its also good to have a vampire doc as a in-law he probably though something good up to help Jacob. Dr.Fang is good at thinking on the spot."Embry took a seat in the chair in the corner and yawned a bit he was a little tired he stayed up to late the night before.

Jacob shok his head at EJ statement. " Yes, "he explained. We are not suppose ot be bitten. Bella got the venom out of me and I will still in pain, but Carlisle thought up trying ot use Alicia blood as a vaccine of some sorts seeing she id both part vampire and shape shifter. A few extra days will be good but because Alicia I am getting better fasted. She has a immunity to vampire venom. It's amazing actually. " Jacob stated, he was glad that was one less thing he had to worry about was his daughter getting bit and turned. He thought he was stupid though giving will the opportunity to bite him. "It was a a bit a stupidity on my part if I was paying more attention to Will i would have never gotten hurt, I Just felt so lucky finding out I was not going ot die, the last thing I wanted was to leave Nessie and Alicia in this work without me." Jacob looked over to EJ in the corner he and acted like the Sasquatch comment did not bug him at all. But as soon as He got close he was going to clunk him one. Jacob took a seat down on the foot of the bed, and looked over at Nate and Ryssa. "I would offer you something to eat but seeing you vampires I don't have the right stuff in this place to feed both of you."

Ryssa didn’t bother to hide her laugh when Embry made a joke about Jake’s size. She then noticed Embry yawning she cocked her head to the side frowning at the young wolf, “When was the last time you slept kid? You look like crap.” Before EJ had very much of a chance to respond to Ryssa’s joking concern Jacob explained what had happened in the fight and how it had been his own fault for not realizing it sooner. Ryssa waved off Jacob’s self blame, “Not your fault gigantor. If anyone should have seen it then it should have been me mate. I was watching the fight; I should not have missed it. Sorry.” Ryssa laughed when Jacob said that he would offer them food but he did not have the sort of food that fit into their diet. She patted her stomach, “I stopped a guy trying to kill his kids a couple days ago; I’ll be fine for a little longer.” Like several things Ryssa said she realized she probably shouldn’t have added that last statement, but it was too late to take it back and she did not want to regret it.

"I slept last night before I felt like i need to run and took off out my bedroom window and out to the forest. I went back home but only in time so when mom stopped into see if I was sleeping. I was cutting it close thought she did not catch me." Embry smiled now that he said that, Jacob would most likely tell his father. Ej just sighed and when Ryssa Called Jacob Gigantor Embry couldn't help bust burst into laughter. "Gigantor that's a good one."

" Gignator....?" Jacob taking a breath when he did so, sure he was big and tall but he felt no need for the nicknames. "Ok enough with all the gigantor stuff, my house, my rules, and Ryssa even thought you think it is your fault I have been going this wolf gig long enough to know I was being careless. It does not matter much now I am health my family is safe that is all I really matter to me." Jacob began to wonder if Nessie was doing okay with calming Alicia down. Jacob felt bad his little girl was frighten probably too much excitement, for her she was still so little.[ Jacob sighed then rubbed his head. "Ej just because you laughed you going to have to give me one good reason why I should tell you mother about you sneaking out last night." Jacob smiled he was wondering what thy of thing Ej could come up with to prevent Jacob form telling his parents, now that he was a father he felt like he had a bigger responsibility to look after the younger pack members.

Ryssa grinned when Embry laughed at her joke about Jake. She took a delicate sniff and had a nonchalant attitude about her, “Well I do try little mate.” Sadly Jacob did not take to the name as well as Embry had. She bit back a laugh as Jacob gave his rules and that the blame no longer really mattered now that his family was safe. Ryssa felt an internal flinch when she thought of Alicia. ‘It is just a miniature of two people I do not see why they are so special. They happen every day.’ Ryssa arched a brow at Jacob and put her hands on her hips, “Are you seriously going to get onto little mate for sneaking out? Can anyone in this room say they did not do the same thing at his age? Give the kid a break.”
Ryssa wasn’t exactly sure why she was even bothering to defend Ej it wasn’t like it really mattered to her if the kid got in trouble. There was a part of her however small it was that was getting attached to the little wolf. Ryssa thought that is was because he seemed to get a kick out of her making fun of Jacob, and Ej sounded a little like she had at his age. At his age though Ryssa had issues she had tried to run away from her parents and find a way back to Australia. Ryssa’s ill feelings must have been showing because she heard Nathaniel, “Ryssa are you alright?” Ryssa shook her head to clear it and she looked around the others; Ryssa cleared her throat, “Sorry to head out on the happy reunion but I have to go. I’ll take the same routs as I did when we were hunting Will.” Ryssa did not waste any time and quickly left the room and then the house. Once Ryssa hit the edge of the forest she took off running.

Renesmee stayed in the nursery for a while, listening to the chatter outside while continuing to comfort the crying Alicia. Her little body was rigid and curled into a little ball. Renesmee had never seen her little one so distressed, but she continued to keep trying to comfort her daughter. "Oh little one, it's alright...Mommy is right here and nothing is going to happen to you." Nothing worked as Renesmee cradled Alicia close and tried to rock her back and forth. Alicia was so frightened by how many people were in the house.
Finally, Renesmee thought of something that would definitely calm her baby down. Looking into Alicia's tear-filled chocolate eyes, she began to sing a lullaby. "Baby mine, don't you cry. Baby mine, dry your eyes. Rest your head close to my heart, never depart baby of mine..." Alicia began to quieten until she stopped crying altogether. Breathing a sigh of relief, Renesmee watched as Alicia began to go to sleep again. Her little eyes shut and her breathing evened until she was in a deep sleep. Once Alicia was asleep, Renesmee put her in her crib and came back into the other room where everyone was still gathered...with the exception of Ryssa. "I'm sorry, but I think it was a little too much for Alicia to have this many visitors at once," she said apologetically. "But you all may stay as long as you wish. She's gone down for another nap, so it will be a while before she wakes again." Renesmee walked over and stood next to her husband, taking his hand in her own and smiling at him.

Edward had not been to the new house since the day that he and Bella had given it to Nessie and Jake. He had decided that a week away from his daughter and grand daughter was more than enough time. Edward left the cottage and ran through the woods to the very edge of the Cullen property, where it and LaPush meet. He walked up to the door and knocked slightly before entering. He knew that Nessie and Jake were not alone. He could smell EJ and another vampire that he was not sure of. He had not smelled the scent before and this worried him, but he knew that if he was here than Jake was not concerned with him. Edward knew that Jake would never let an evil vampire near Nessie and the baby.
Edward followed their scent to the room where they were. He knew that Alicia was napping and smiled as he entered the room and walked over to Nessie and Jake. He shock Jake's hand and hugged Nessie. "How are you feeling, my darling daughter?" Edward asked as he released her. He then turned his attention to the others in the room. "Hello, EJ. How are you? Who are your friend? I dont think I have met him before." Edward said wondering how a vampire that he did not know could not only be in Forks but also at his daughters house. Edward did not like the idea of that, but he was to much of a gentlemen to make a scene about it. It really did not matter to Edward that he was part of the Royal couple. He was just concerned from Nessie's safety. Edward was listen hard for any thoughts that would betray the other one.

Renesmee smiled as her father entered the room. It had been quite a few days since she had last seen either of her parents or the rest of the family for that matter. Having a new baby had distracted her for quite a while with taking care of everything around her new home. She had devoted all of her time to taking care of Alicia, not stopping to see anyone really until today. Walking over, she hugged her father and smiled at him. "I'm feeling very well," she replied to her father. "Alicia is absolutely beautiful and thriving." Renesmee was beaming with parental pride as she talked about her little one.
Hearing her father's question about the others in the room, she decided that she would introduce her guests. "Well, this is Nathaniel Pierce," she said, nodding toward Nate's direction. "He was the one who saved me from Will's attack after he heard my scream in the forest. And the other vampire that was just here was Ryssa Adamson; she also had a part in saving mine and Alicia's life. She just left though because she wanted to patrol for Crystal so Jake could have a break to stay with me and the baby for a while."

Nathaniel sighed internally when he thought of what cause Ryssa to leave the visit so quickly. Ryssa was truly tense about being around Alicia which put her parents and everyone else on the subconscious edge. Nessie came in a few minutes later apologizing about Alicia’s behavior, and invited them to stay for as long as they wished. Nathaniel was torn with what he needed to do, he realized that Ryssa was going through a difficult time, but he decided that she would need the time alone after this visit. Nate shook his head wearing a small smile, “Nessie you have no reason to apologize. At Alicia’s age that very much defines who she is. Sleeping and eating.”
Not more then a few moments later another vampire joined them in the back room. It was Nessie’s father, and the head of the entire vampire race, Edward Cullen. Nathaniel smiled politely as Nessie introduced who he was to her father. When the attention of the room seemed to be on him Nathaniel bowed his head to Edward and knowing the vampire king’s gift; Nathaniel spent a few moments thinking of his history to show that he would never cause trouble and he replayed what happened that day in the clearing on the day little Alicia was born. Nate finished his thoughts but thinking of his power and spoke allowed, “I would hope that you could understand why I will not shake hands with you sir.”
Nathaniel then realized that Nessie had mentioned Ryssa and before he could gain control of himself his thoughts turned to why Ryssa was so uncomfortable around babies. Decades ago when Ryssa had been a human through poor circumstances she had become pregnant. She had run away from her parents and tried to live life on her own. Ryssa had trouble when she was around six months pregnant, she went into early labor and the baby boy had not lived past a week. After that Ryssa had returned home feeling broken before she seemed to throw herself into the swinging sixties. Nathaniel gave Edward a polite, but pleading look as he thought, “I would appreciate your silence in this. Ryssa has never told a soul and no one should have to know unless she wishes it otherwise.”

Edward smiled as Nessie said that she and Alicia were both good. Edward had always worried about his daughter and now he had a grand-daughter to worry about to. Edward thought quickly back over the years to when he thought that it was impossible for him and Bella to have children. That was a lifetime ago and everything had changed with their honeymoon.
Edward was brought back to the present when Nessie introduced Nathanial to him. When she said that he was the one that saved her in the woods, Edward became eternally grateful to him, and would welcome him gladly as a friend of the family. Edward would meet the one that had just left later.
After Nessie introduced him, Edward realized that Nathanial already knew who Edward was and what he could do. Before Nathanial ever spoke, Edward already knew his entire history from his thoughts. When Nathanial finally spoke, Edward almost laughed. He thought to himself, a vampire that is more than three hundred years older than me is calling me, sir. I am never going to get used to that. Edward smiled about and spoke to Nathanial then. "I understand perfectly and would never think of it, knowing what I know now. Thank you for sharing that and please call me Edward. Welcome to Forks." Edward said to him. Edward could tell that Nathanial's lifestyle was close to their vegitarian lifestyle. "Nathanial, you should come by the mansion soon and meet the rest of the Cullen's. We would be glad to have you as a friend." Edward looked to his daughter and then back the Nathanial. "Thank you for saving my daughter and grand-daughter, by the way. I am eternally grateful to you for that."
Edward then caught the thoughts that Nathanial had about the female that has just left. Edward could see her through Nathanial's thoughts and felt for her on some level. Edward could not imagine losing Nessie. When Nathanial ask that Edward never speak of it. Edward simply nodded to him. Edward would never violate an unspoken confidence in him. Edward knew how much of an inconvience his powers where.

Not wanting to be rude EJ waited for Edward, Nessie and Nate to be finish talking. "Yo Mr. Cullen Hows it mountain lions?" EJ said semi-excitedly getting out of his chair. " Jake and Nessie make a pretty cute baby, you must be a proud eh grandpa? EJ jabbed Edward in the elbow then scrunched his nose. "Nate and Ryssa are pretty awesome too but I wish I would have had a chance to rip a piece off Will." Ej thought that being the youngest would be fun but it really wasn't he was always not allowed to do as much as the others. " I think Alicia is even cuter then Del's kids..But I think if Del found out i thought so she has to be considerate because Alicia is my cousin."

Nathaniel watched as Edward’s lips twitched and he almost seemed to laugh when Nathaniel had called him sir. He was used to that reaction from most others especially when others found out how old he actually was. Nate nodded his head as Edward offered his thanks and a welcome to town. Nathaniel smiled in understanding when Edward looked back to his daughter; it was easily seen that Edward loved his family. He turned back to Nathaniel to offer for Nate to visit their home and meet the rest of their family. Edward also told Nathaniel that he would be eternally grateful for him for saving Nessie and Alicia. Nate politely bowed his head to Edward, “It was an honor Edward, I know I would wish the same for my daughter if I had one. There is no thanks needed.” Nathaniel caught Edward’s subtle nod when Nate asked if he would keep Ryssa’s history to himself. With the subject turning to privacy Nathaniel remembered an apology that he needed to make to Nessie.
Before he was able to say anything Embry asked Edward about the hunting in the area, went from that to saying that Ryssa and himself were trustworthy, and how cute Alicia is. Nathaniel smiled and he turned to Nessie with an apologetic look. He spoke in lower tones so that he would not disturb the others, “Nessie I have an apology to make to you. That afternoon that your daughter was born I remember reaching my arm back to make sure you were safe. I touched your arm, and I am truly sorry for that action, especially because I did not warn you of my gift. I apologize again for that and I hope you can trust me enough again to know I will not betray your trust and reveal anything.” Unfortunately Edward was in the room and because of the topic conversation Nathaniel thoughts went towards some of what Nessie’s life had been up to that point. Nate was hopeful that all of the reluctant images in his mind were nothing that would embarrass Nessie or her father.

Renesmee stood by her husband as Nathaniel and her father interacted for a few moments. She was content with just passively listening until she heard her name mentioned again by Nathaniel. Hearing her name, she looked at him as he apologized to her for using his gift, which she now knew what it was. He had seen her entire past from birth until just now, which meant he also saw her honeymoon with Jacob and that was an embarrassing thought she was trying to keep from the front of her mind. Instead, she focused on something else while turning toward Nathaniel. "Thank you Nathaniel, but no apology is really neccessary," she said, nodding her head once in his direction. "But thank you again for saving my life that day. I owe you my life and that of my daughter."
Sliding her hand into Jacob's, she smiled and looked at her father. "Where's Mom and the rest of the family?" she asked. "I figured that they would want to see the baby sometime soon since no one has seen her since she was born." At that moment, Renesmee heard Alicia begin to whine in the nursery. She paused and waited to see if she was going to start crying, but she settled down and Renesmee relaxed.

Edward laughed as EJ asked him about hunting. "The hunting it the same as always, EJ." Edward said smiling. Edward did not comment on the rest of the things that EJ said. In stead he turned his attention back to Nathanial. He listened as Nathanial spoke to him and then to Nessie. Edward heard Nathanial tell her about his gift and apologize for seeing her past. Edward knew that Nessie did not want him knowing some things, and there were things that Edward did not want to know about his daughter. Edward started humming loudly in his head to block out the thoughts.
When Nathanial finished talking to Nessie, something occurred to Edward. He still did not know what exactly had happened in the woods that day. Edward had heard the thoughts of the others, but he did not know exactly what had lead up to the fight. Edward decided to do something about that, and he knew that their was only one person that could show him. Edward was about to ask his daughter when she spoke to him. "I am not sure were the other's are, dear. Your mom was still at the cottage when I left this morning. As for the others, I have not seen then in a few days." Edward said to her, thinking about his family. Edward knew that he was going to have to call a family meeting soon. For now he had other things to worry about. Edward stepped closer to Nessie and lefted her hand to his cheek. "Nessie, my darling daughter. I need you to show me exactly what happened in the woods that day. Can you do that for me? I have heard their thoughts but now I need to see what they couldn't." Edward said to his daughter, knowing that Nessie hardly ever used her gift any more, but hoping that she would do this for him.
