Renesmee paced about the bedroom, anxious and scared. It had been a few days since she had taken the pregnancy test that told her that she was going to have a baby. And now she needed to tell the one person who deserved to know the most, her husband. She was scared to tell him because of his reaction since they had only just been married a little over a month. Shaking, she took out her phone and texted him.
Baby, please come home. I need to talk to you about something important.
Hitting 'SEND', she slid her phone shut and sat down on their bed to wait for him. Absentmindedly, she rubbed her hand across her stomach where their baby now rested inside of her. "It'll be okay," she reassured the baby and herself. "I can do this."

Jacob was just at Quil house seeing Embry, he wanted to know how everything was going while he was away being the youngest pack member Jacob liked to look out for him a lot. Jacob knew Quil could probably answer all his question but he was the alpha and it was his duty to look after his Pack. Just when he was about to leave Jacob got a text from Renesmee.
flipping open his phone he read the message.
Baby, please come home. I need to talk to you about something important.
"I like to stay and chat but I have to head home.Nessie need me. Later." Jacob ran out of the house and down the street, he was glad that Quil place was only about a block away from his. It took him about a minute and a half but he was home in no time. If he was phase it would have took him less time but he did not see the need for it at the current moment. He open his font door and walked into the living room breathing normally. "Hey Ness, I got your message, it seemed urgent, are you okay?"

Renesmee heard the front door of the house open and Jacob come in, looking for her. She got up from their bed and walked into the living room. Smiling faintly, she walked over to him and took his hands, leading him over to their couch and sat down. "Hi sweetie," she said gently. "Yeah, I did mean it as something urgent because I need to talk to you about something...something that has happened." Quietly, she bit her lip and looked into his eyes, searching for the words to tell him. This was even more nerve racking than their wedding night when she had been scared. However, she knew that there was nothing to be afraid of, this was her husband and she was going to have their baby. That should be something celebrated.

Jacob walked with Nessie to the couch and sat down with her. "Something that happen, I did not do anything to upset you did I? " Jacob asked worriedly it was the last thing he wanted to do he loved making his wife happy and tried to be with her every moment of the day when he was not with the pack. he placed his hand on her cheek as she bit her lip and looked her in the eye.
"Renesmee, what is wrong, what did I do?" Jacob did not know what was wrong but all he thought whatever it was that happen he would fix it. He was not sure what was really up with her but the look on her face made him feel like whatever did happen he was to blame.

Renesmee knew that Jacob was worried, just by the look on his face and the tone of his voice. "No sweetie, it's nothing that you did per say," she reassured him. This was what she had been fearing since she first found out about her pregnancy, but she knew that the time had come. Taking his hand from her cheek, she moved it down to her stomach and set it lightly on top. "Jake...I'm...I'm pregnant," she almost whispered.
There...it was out in the open and he knew. How he would react was the part that scared Renesmee most. She wanted to be happy for this baby, but couldn't if she knew that Jacob wasn't.

A half smiled crept across Jacob face when Renesmee said it was really nothing he did but when she said per say he lost that half smile and furrowed his eyebrows. He was not sure what she was saying till she moved his hand off her face and placed it on her stomach. Jacob facial expression changed as she did so and when he heard the word pregnant he stopped breathing. "I...um..we....are going to be parents?" Jacob said looking her in the eyes, he was excited but he was also terrified for both Renesmee and their grown child's safety.
"You need to talk to Carlisle...Then there is you diet, could the baby handle blood.... Are you okay with all of this this is a big change in our lives...I am going to be a dad" Jacob mood changed from worry to excitement and he wrapped his arms around Nessie. "HoneyI just hope I can be a good to husband and father our baby."

Renesmee smiled at her husband's instant worry over her health and that of their unborn baby. He was always the worrier though and had been since the beginning of time. That was just how Jacob was and she loved him dearly for it. Feeling him envelope her in a hug, she knew that everything was going to be okay. "I promise that we will talk to Carlisle as soon as we tell the rest of the family," she vowed quietly. Looking down, she raised her shirt to reveal her still flat stomach. Touching it gently, she said, "Can you believe that there is this little person inside of me? Our baby..."

"I just did no think I would happen so soon, you know you were on birth control but I guess it only works for human women." Jacob joked thinking about the birth control to make his mood seem less worried like. "You know I have always wanted to be a dad but now that it is going to come true, I feel like I wont be a good Father, I have never spent much time around children in the last thirty years. I was to scared to even hold Quil's son when he was a baby and i was thirty six years old. I just hope I could fulfill all of my duties, being a father is a big responsibility." Jacob was all worried about being there for everyone else then he was for himself. "

Renesmee laughed with him about the birth control comment. In a sense, he probably was right about it only working on fully human women, so they would know that for future reference. Then he went off worrying again about if he would be a good father or not. Placing her hands on his, she soothed his qualms. "Jake, you are going to be a wonderful father," she said, taking his hands and placing them on her belly. "This baby...our child, was made because you love me and I love you. Once it's here, everything will be fine. You will see...trust me." Leaning forward, she kissed his lips softly and smiled.
It was rather endearing to see her husband freak out about having a baby. However, she knew that she was freaking out just as much because this was a whole new experience for her. She knew that she was just as scared, if not more because she was the one carrying their child within her.

Renesmee words and Actions were soothing her worry. "Your right Ness, I think I am over thinking everything. It Just to easy for me to worry we don't know where Crystal and Will are. I have to keep the pack on watch for them. Then there is the fact that the pack has ready been busy with some of the other wolves out of commission. I Don't want to call on Quil to phase because I know how he hates it now, then there is EJ Who I need to guide to learn the ropes properly. That does not even Include the time which Is most of my time I want to spend with you. Nessie I hope our child cant Phase, the last thing i want is our child having to feel overwhelmed by duty."
Jacob looked Nessie in the eyes. He felt like he was being selfish talking about all of his problems. "Nessie, I am being selfish talking about all of my thought, I am if i stressing you out. Babe tell me how you are feeling about all of this?"

As Renesmee listened to all of Jacob's concerns, she knew that he had a lot to worry about now that he was a husband and soon-to-be father; just as much as she had to worry about as a new wife and mother-to-be. Each of them had their own concerns, but she was happy to listen to his. That is, after all, what a wife was supposed to do for her husband. When he asked her about her own concerns, she looked down at her stomach. "I'm just scared for the baby," she admitted. "There has never been a child like ours before and so no one knows what to expect. Alice and I were estimating that the pregnancy will be about five or six months long, putting my due date in May or June. I'm just so afraid because this is our first baby...maybe it's just my hormones. I honestly don't know baby." The thoughts were going through her head like crazy...what to name the baby, was it a boy or a girl, how would she take care of herself while she was pregnant, and so much more that a lot of it didn't make sense.

Jacob looked and Nessie and pulled up her shirt,"Remember the last time I did this were were taking about our future, well the way I see it Ness our future is now and everyday form now and yesterday it was today," He began rambling. Jacob placed his lips to her belly, and smile " I remember promising something but now that where married the promise has changed a bit". he then placed a hand on her stomach ans smiled.
"Hey little one, I promise to look after your mother so everything is wonderful when you decide to show you face. All you need to do is worry about growing and I will worry about the rest, everything will be fine, I promise. and to let you know little one I never do back on my promises." Jacob kissed her belly once more. He was trying to relive his stress and ease Nessie worry.
"Baby the way i see it our baby is 3/4 human. Shape shifters gene does not activate till puberty usually, so we don't have ot worry about that side of our child, all we have to think about it the 1/4 vampires needs hopeful the baby will just want human food, but with the fact that the pregnancy is a little accelerated I can't say she or he does not want his mother preferred diet." he smiled and pulled Nessie close again, "Do you want me with you when you tell your parents?"

Watching Jacob pull up her shirt and kiss her flat belly, she smiled and giggled as his lips tickled her sensitive skin. She knew that he was right though; their future was no longer so far away, it was right there inside of her. Their baby was their future. It made her smile to hear him talk to the baby already because that meant that he was excited about their child coming. Her fear was eased about his reaction and she was actually able to enjoy their moment together, revelling in her glow of impending motherhood.
Having Jacob pull her close again, she felt so safe and secure. He always made her feel that way and she knew that their baby would feel the same once it was born. When he mentioned telling her parents, her mouth made a little 'O' and she sighed. "Well, I want to tell my father first...and I have to do that on my own," she said. "But for right now, I just want to stay here with you and the baby." She rubbed her hand lightly across her belly and cupped it in the middle, where there would soon be a little bump.

Jacob nodded, Knowing it was for the best for Nessie to tell her father alone, Just in case he had to run and hide. "Well that can be arranged"[/b[ he scooped Nessie Up in his arms and carries her back to the bedroom. "We can all relax here all afternoon. I just have to text one or to of the guys to take over my patrol this afternoon and I will explain to them why later." Jacob pulled out he phone and looked at two numbers, First he text EJ, then he text Jon those to will patrol together. Jacob was hoping some of EJ personality would rub off on him. "So what are you feeling right now?"

Renesmee laughed as Jacob picked her up and carried her to their bedroom, glad that they could spend some time together alone before telling the rest of the family that she was pregnant. Waiting patiently while he texted some of the pack to take over patrol for him, she looked down at her stomach where their baby was. It would take some getting used to, but she was certain that once she did, she would love being pregnant. Although she was still scared of being pregnant with the most unique child in the world, she knew that she and Jacob would get through it together.
Looking back at Jacob, she said, "I was just thinking about how good this baby is going to be for the family. Alice told me that we needed a baby made out of love and I'm one-hundred percent positive that this baby was." Leaning forward, she kissed his lips tenderly. "And I know that this was not planned, but I am actually excited about this baby."
