Jasper was surprised to see that Alice had brought someone home. Especially because it was a guy! Uh oh, he thought. Have I been replaced? Dammit! He smiled, politely. "Hello Evan. I'm Jasper, Alice's husband." He held out his hand. |

Hearing Alice talk about using her gift to show her all that had happened over the last few months and then the wedding excited Renesmee. She loved showing people her memories. "I have so much to show you that you missed while you were gone," she giggled. Then she saw him...the new person that came and stood beside Alice. Seeing the guy beside her aunt, Renesmee was instantly curious about the newcomer. He and Alice seemed to be close and then Alice explained that he would be living with the Cullens for a while. "Hi, I'm Renesmee...Alice's niece."
Her curiosity was still peaked by this stranger. Alice usually would have never brought another guy home, but then again she had never left alone either and she did that. Renesmee looked back and forth from her aunt to Evan. This was peculiar to her. For a split second, she shot a look of concern to her aunt. Then Jasper spoke up and introduced himself to Evan as Alice's husband and that made her feel better...a little.

Bella was totally stunned that Alice, of all people, would bring someone home. That was just not like her, especially a guy. That was just out of the ordinary for her. She was so in love with Jasper, but he had really hurt her before she left for London. And now, the knowledge of him sleeping with Lexie and getting her pregnant, which no one knew except her...well, that would kill Alice. She had been careful to guard her mind around Edward about that fact all day, but with the wedding it was easy to do so. But, Bella decided to play nice to Evan, just for keeping the peace's sake. "It's nice to meet you Evan, I'm Bella, Alice's sister."
Even though she had a hunch that they weren't together, they sure acted like it with the way Alice looked at him and how he looked back at her. Everything about this entire thing was just getting more and more weird, even for their family.

Alice smiled at her family and then back at Evan. "Evan is new to the veggie life style, but I have full faith that he will be great at it, and fit in so well with it." She said squeezing Evans hand and smiling at him. Alice let out a small giggle and then turned back to Bella, Nessie and Jasper. "I thought we could call him a Hale. You know make him part of the family." She said to them all. She then looked at Jasper. "I think you two are going to get along so well. You both have so much in common." She said smiling between the two boys.

Evan could feel the hostility coming from Jasper especially. Alice had not mentioned her husband when she was in London with him. In fact, it was a little painful for her to even talk about her family in Forks. Evan had always known something had to have happened to drive such a wonderful person from her home and those she loved. Now, he wondered what that was. "It's a pleasure to meet all of you," he nodded his head politely toward Bella, Renesmee, and Jasper. He felt Alice squeeze his hand and could feel all her happiness come through him; his empath powers were so atuned to her from all the time they had spent together in London. "When Alice told me of this life, I knew that I had to try something different than how I was living."
He looked around and saw all the beautiful decorations and smiled. "I don't mean to be the cause for interruption of these wonderful celebrations," he apologized politely. "You are a beautiful bride Renesmee and I wish you the best of luck in your new beginning." Evan had always been taught to be polite in every setting he was in and that was how his personality rang through.

After the wedding Rose took Emmett's hand and lefted Maden in her arms as the walked a table for the reception. Rose smiled when Emmett complimented her. "Thank you. You look almost edible yourself." She said to him. As they sat at the table Rose watched all the dancing that was going on. She was about to dance with Emmett when a familiar scent caught her attention.
Rose looked at Emmett and smile as she spoke one work. "Alice" Rose moved in a flurry of moment then. She grabbed Maden from his chair, kissed Emmett, and fluttered to the group that was now forming around Alice and a strange guy. Rose knew that Alice had not meet Maden yet and Rose was dying to introduce him to her. As Rose approached the group she spoke. "Um hello, I am Rosalie Hale, Alice's sister and this is my son Maden." Rose held out her hand to Evan as she looked at her pixie sister. "I see that we have much to talk about." She said to Alice.

Alice jumped when Rose came over with a small boy she had never seen. "Rose! You have a son?" Alice asked her in shock. "You have so much to tell me." Alice said. she didn't relize how much she had missed while she was in London. She then turned to Evan. "This is Evan. I met him in London and he has come to live with us for a bit." Alice said and then looked at the small boy. "Hi I'm Alice, what's your name?" She asked him as she smiled and looked back at her sister.

Arkan was stunned be Raine's beauty as they moved to the reception and he twirled her around the dance floor on the fourth song. Arkan could not wait the tell the family the truth about him and Raine. He wanted the girls to plan their wedding as they had Bella's and Nessie's.
"You are absolutely gorgeous, my darling." He whispered in Raine's ear as they danced. Arkan was about to ask her an other question when a scent caught him and he stopped in the middle of the dance floor. Alice was back. Arkan looked at Raine and took her hand to lead her to the rest of the family. "Welcome home Alice." Arkan said as he entered the group. "Hello, I am Arkan North Cullen, Alice's newest brother." Arkan said to the new guy that was holding Alice's hand. Arkan was to new to the family to question Alice's decision, but as her brother, he supported her in what ever she wanted.

When Nessie let go of his hand Jacob looked looked around the room to see what was up and when he did he saw a gathering of Cullen...Well his family now. They were all standing around Alice. "Alice" Jacob said enthusiastically and head over to Renesmee side kissing her forehead and then smiling at Alice.
"Your a sight for sore eyes , Alice It good to see you takes for coming home I know you have made but Ness and I happy. So can you new Nephew get a hug?" He laughed out the looked over at the 'new guy'. "Hey who is this?" he said still hapy if he was there with Alice he must be ok.

Edward had watched as Bella left him to go talk to Jasper. He was not sure what that was about until he heard Jasper's thought, what the hell? You have to be kidding me. Edward thought to himself. Edward was about to say something to Jasper, when he caught the scent of his favorite sister. Edward would not ruin Nessie's wedding or Alice home coming with this.
Edward walked up behind Alice knowing that he could not surprise her and grabbed her lefting her off of her feet. Edward fully expected her to maneuver her self around to where she was on his back or some, like the old days. Edward had missed her so much. She was his closest friend and sister. "Hello my little monster." He said to her as he grabbed her. He was still messing with her when he looked at Evan. "Hello, I am Alice's twin brother, Edward." He said said to Evan. Edward knew that they were not together, but he was not going to say anything. After everything that Jasper had gone to Alice, he could stand to worry.

As soon as he had introduced himself to part of Alice's family, the other half seemed to almost flood them. Alice was obviously well-loved, but he knew that already from all that she had told him in London about her brothers and sisters and her niece. Who couldn't love Alice though? She was so bright and bubbly all the time that he couldn't help but love his dear friend. Then he saw the way she interacted with the little boy her sister brought over, apparently a new arrival to the family as well as he was never mentioned in all of Alice's talks about her family. Alice was an angel; always kind and loving to everyone.
"I'm so pleased to finally meet all of you," he said, responding to the new arrivals to their party. "Alice has told me so much about all of you. I'm Evan." It was a little intimidating standing before most of her family, but he knew that this would be worth it to start a new life away from hurting others. Alice had promised him that when they left London.

Alice wrapped her arms around Edward has he grabbed her, she had missed him so much. "Edward this is Evan. He is one of the most amazing people I have ever met and I know you will adore him as much as I do." She said beaming up at her brother. She then looked at Evan and could tell he was intimidated by everything that was going on. She smiled and gave him a small wink. It was true Alice adored Evan with her whole heart, one might even say she was starting to form feelings for Evan, but Alice didn't even really know what was going on with her. She then looked back at Edward. "Be careful what you think around him, he can hear every thought you might be having." Alice said to Evan about Edward.

Edward smiled as Alice warned Evan about him. Edward through Alice up and onto his back as he spoke to Evan. "Don't worry Evan, I may hear them but I don't acknowledge them unless you want me to. Now excuse me while I dance with my twin." Edward said as he reach up and messed Alice's hair while she was on his back. He carried her to the dance floor and put her down. As they started the dance, he spoke quietly to her, so that she was the only one to here. "I am so glad that you are back. I have needed you. You know that I stand by any decision that you make, Alice." Edward wanted to know that he was with her on any decision reguarding Evan and Jasper. "You are my twin, and you are more important to me that Jazz. I want you to know that." Edward said as he twirled her.
Edward would not let her leave again. If it came down to it, he would tell Jasper to leave before he let Alice, his twin, his best friend, his devoted sister go. As for Evan, Alice trusted him and that was all that Edward needed. After all it was Alice, and he did not bet against her.

Alice happily went to dance with Edward. As he twirled her she listened to what he was saying. "I'm not sure what is going on with me right now. But I will tell you I have never smiled and laughed as much as I have since I have met Evan. " She said looking up at Edward. "Don't get me wrong, I missed Jasper. But it was nice to not have the drama around." She said thinking to herself. She then looked back up at Edward. "And I missed you too. But I might take trips by myself a little bit more often." She said joking with him. She then looked back over at Evan.

Edward smiled at his sister. She was truly happy and for that he was happy. He knew that she was not sure of things and he would not push. She would talk to him more when she was ready. That was the great thing about their relationship. She saw the future and he saw it through her mind. Edward knew that he relied on her too much, but she was his best friend. "I know that you will work things out, and I am here for you when you do." Edward said as he pulled her into a tight hug. "As for those trips that is cool, as long as you stay in touch with me." Edward said as the song ended.
