Edward sat next to Bella hand in hand and watched as their little girl got married. Watching the reminded him of his and Bella's wedding. Edward had never thought about redoing their wedding, since they were always with family. As Edward watched them exchange vows, he smiled for he could tell how happy they were. Edward had heard when Nessie told him and she loved them and when Jake had said that he would take care of her.
As the ceremony ended Edward stood with his hand still in Bella's and led her to the backyard. He knew that once the reception started they would dance the night away. After they were outside Edward pulled Bella into his arms andwhispered to her. "You look beautiful tonight, my love." He then kissed her passionately. After thirty years their passion was still as strong as every. Edward then watched as Nessie and Jake took the floor and started dancing. Edward knew that the father-daughter dance would be soon. As the first song ended and the next began, Edward led Bella to the dance floor and started dancing with her.
Edward would dance this dance with Bella and then he had a surprise for Nessie. As the song ended, Edward kissed Bella's hand and walked to the stage at the side of the dance floor. Edward took the mic from the DJ and walked to the side of the stage were the piano was hidden. "Renesmee and Jacob, I hope that you are as happy in life as Bella and I have been. This is my gift to you." Edward sat down and the piano and started playing the beautiful song that he had written for them. It was a song that noone had heard before.
When the song was over Edward walked back to the dance floor and asked Jake, "May I have the next dance?" Edward took Nessie's hand and twirled her across the floor in their father- daughter dance. "You are as beautiful and your mother was on our wedding day." He said to her as they danced. Edward would alway love his daughter and wanted her to be happy.
As the song ended he gave her back to Jacob and smiled as he thought of Jacob at his and Bella reception. Edward knew that they had come full circle now. "Jake welcome to the family offically, finally." Edward said as her took Bella's hand and twirled her back to the side of the dance floor.

Renesmee watched from Jacob's loving arms as her parents took the dance floor after their first dance. Her parents were still so in love, even after thirty years of marriage. That is where she hoped to be with Jacob thirty years from now. She continued to dance with Jacob until the second song ended and her father went over to the DJ, taking the mic and presenting them with a gift from him; a song he composed for them. It was an absolutely stunning piece that she had never heard from him before. She knew he must have written it in secret. As she danced with Jacob to the melodic tune coming from the piano, she began to tear up because it was so beautiful. Her father captured the very essence of her and Jacob's relationship in song; something he was extraordinarily gifted at.
When her father was done playing, he came over and stole her away from Jacob for their father-daughter dance. As she twirled around in her father's arms, she felt more happiness than she could have ever imagined. Her parents were so happy for her and Jacob; in turn, that made her heart grow. "Thank you Daddy," she whispered in his ear. "You have made this day even more special for Jake and I." When their song ended, he returned her to Jacob and welcomed him officially into the family. Even though, he had been a part all along, it was nice to have it official in Renesmee's mind.
Then she watched as her father twirled her mother back onto the dance floor. Renesmee knew that in her mother's human life, she hated dancing because she was so clumsy. But now, she never looked happier than when she was in her father's arms. For the next song, she stayed on the side of the dance floor with Jacob to rest for a few moments, having been the center of attention for quite some time.

The wedding flowed effortlessly into the reception, which was soothing to Bella's nerves about the entire thing. Planning an entire wedding and reception without Alice had been the most nerve-racking thing she had ever gone through...well, besides getting married herself thirty years ago, but that was a different story. Bella watched her only child stand at the altar and get married to her best friend; to anyone else, that would have just been weird. But to Bella, it was the most comforting thing in the world. She knew that Jacob would always love and take care of Renesmee, just as she and Edward had the first thirty years of her life. Now was their time to let her go and they had.
As soon as they arrived at the reception, Edward pulled her into a passionate kiss and complimented her, to which she smiled and replied, "You look quite dashing yourself Mr. Cullen." Thirty years of marriage had done little to put out the fire that had been ignited between the two of them all those years ago when she had first moved to Forks. She hoped and wanted that same passion for her daughter and Jacob to be there in thirty years. As she watched her daughter and son-in-law take the dance floor, she was reminded of her first dance with Edward at their wedding. She had still been awkward and clumsy, so...human. Renesmee was so much more graceful as she and Jacob glided across the floor like they were on clouds for their first dance. Once their song ended, Edward pulled her onto the dance floor to dance with him. Their movements were effortless now that she was a vampire and matched his grace with her own. As the second song ended, Edward surprised Renesmee with a song for her and Jacob before going to the father-daughter dance.
Bella watched her husband and daughter dance in joy. From the moment Renesmee entered their lives, Edward had been the most devoted father to their child. He loved her with all of his being and wanted nothing but the best for her. Looking at Renesmee, she saw so much of herself, especially in those chocolate brown eyes that could melt even the coldest of hearts. When Edward returned their daughter to Jacob and welcomed him officially to the family, Bella smiled. Jacob had always been a part of their family, even before she knew Edward. That thought lingered as she and Edward took the dance floor once again. "So, we officially have a married child," she murmured, looking deeply into his eyes.
After the dance ended, Bella remembered that she needed to speak with Jasper about a certain matter that would be dealt with after Renesmee and Jacob were sent off on their honeymoon. She walked over to where he was standing and pulled him aside, "Jazz, we need to talk about something important, but I don't want to make a scene since this is Nessie's day."

Alice had been gone for a few months and missed home and her family like crazy. She had been in London where she was able to get a lot of thinking done and work somethings out in her head, she was ready to come home, to her family and most of all to her Jasper. And today of all days was perfect, Nessie and Jacobs wedding. Alice knew she wasn't going to be able to make it for the wedding but that she would for the reception. She couldn't wait to see everyone. Alice also had a new friend for everyone to meet that she had brought back to Forks with her.
Alice stepped into the reception and looked around. The place looked amazing, she smiled to herself as she thought of what a great job Bella and Rose did with the place. She then saw her family one by one and got a warm felling inside. She stayed towards the back of the room and just watched as they danced. This was Nessie's day and Alice didn't want to make it all about her.

Jasper fell Bella pull him aside and listened to her. He was sure he knew what she was talking about, so he spoke quitely. "Look Bella. I know what you're thinking." He stopped and said, "Well, not really, but I didn't intentionally sleep with Lexie. I tried to control her emotions but when I did it made me blackout and I couldn't control what I was doing. I can't control Lexie's emotions!" |

Bella listened quietly as Jasper explained himself, knowing that what he was saying was probably true as there was always a limitation to anyone's power. But, she didn't want to deal with that right then. "I'm not blaming you Jazz, but we do need to deal with this sooner rather than later because there is something else that has happened. We will talk about this later thought when we have more time and it's only the family," she replied softly.
That was when it hit her; a soft scent that was very familiar that Bella had not smelt in a long time. It was the one person that was missing from all of the festivities that everyone wanted so desperately to come home.

Jasper nodded. "I just--" he stopped in his tracks feeling Bella's emotions. She softened a little bit. He, too, noticed a scent that Bella was noticing. He turned and saw someone he never thought he'd seen again.
His wife.
"Alice!" Jasper shouted and ran over to her, grabbing her and holding her close. |

Alice was shocked and taken back a bit when Jasper ran over to her and took her in his arms. "Jasper" She said softly as she looked up and smiled at him. "It's been a long time." She had no words for what she was feeling at that moment. But Alice could tell that something was different with Jasper, she just couldn't tell what it was.

"I'm just so happy you're here! I missed you so much!" Jasper hugged her tighter. He didn't want to let go of her. This was just what he needed and maybe he could forget Alexandra for a while. This was about him and Alice now. |

Bella watched as Jasper immediately went to Alice's side. She knew that he had missed her, but he sure didn't act like it most of the time. However, Bella gave them a moment before going over to her sister. If she could have cried, she would have in that moment because she was just happy to have her sister home in time to see Renesmee's wedding reception and how beautiful she looked. "Alice," she breathed in relief and took her sister's hand softly. "I'm so happy you're home. Just wait until Nessie sees you, she's going to be so excited to see you. More than anything she wanted you to be here for today."
Looking into her sister's eyes, she tried to convey all of her emotions at once: joy, relief, happiness, and elation all at once because Alice was finally home where she should be. The huge gapping hole in their family was once again sealed.

Alice looked at Bella and squeezed her hand. "I'm happy to be home Bells." She gave her a big smile. "I have missed you so much." Alice said and then looked towards Nessie. "She looks so stunning." Alice said to Bella. "You and Edward must be so proud." Alice said looking back and Nessie and smiling. Her niece was glowing and Alice was so glad she was there to see her in this moment.

Renesmee had been standing on the side of the dancefloor, watching everyone else dancing while she took a break when she caught a faint scent from behind her. Turning around, she was totally surprised to see her Aunt Alice standing with her mother and Jasper. Immediately, she let go of Jacob's hand and ran to her aunt. Tears of joy were streaming down her face in tiny droplets. "Alice!" she gasped as soon as she reached her. "You're really here! I can't believe it; you really came. I've missed you so much!"
She wrapped her arms around her aunt, stealing her away from Jasper's grip. "This is the best gift you could have ever given me and Jake," she whispered in her ear before kissing her cheek softly. "Thank you for coming back."

Alice hugged Nessie back. "I wouldn't miss this for the world." Alice said smiling at Nessie. "I want to hear all about it sometime. Maybe you can even show me it." She said putting her hands on Nessie's cheeks. Alice then looked around for someone she didn't see. "I have someone for you all to meet." She said still looking around for the one person she needed by her side.

Evan had stood back and watched as Alice was greeted by various members of her family. It had been a long trip back from London, but he was willing to make it to start a new life in Forks. When Alice found him, he had been wandering the streets of London alone, disgusted with himself and all the human lives he had taken over the years. Listening to her talk about her life in Forks as a vegetarian sounded like an oasis in a desert; something he had been searching for since his creation a few years previous. They had spent months together, talking about everything in their lives. He learned about Alice's gift and he shared his own; empathy by touch.
When he heard her mention something about someone for them to meet, he knew that it was his cue so he stepped to her side and looked to the three family members that were near. "Hello, my name is Evan Williams," he politely introduced himself in his thick British accent.

Alice jumped and smiled as Evan came forward. "This is Evan. I met him over in London and he has come to live with us for a bit." She said taking his hand and smiling up at him. Alice met Evan over in London and was taken by him the first moment. She told him all about how her and her family lived and wanted to share that with him. There was just something about Evan that Alice loved, she had grown so close to him and really had become her best friend.
