Renesmee giggled gleefully as Jacob picked her up and spun her in a circle. This was truly that happiest day of her life because she now belonged to the most amazing person in the world and he belonged to her forever as well. "I'm thinking that I'm married to the most amazing man in the world. I love you," she looked into his eyes before kissing him again on the lips this time. As their kiss broke, she hugged him and whispered seductively, "And I can't wait to be alone in Italy with you for two whole weeks."

Bella sat back and took everything in. Her only child was now married, Alice had come home and brought Evan with her, and things were beginning to calm down a little. As she watched Edward dance with Alice, she felt like the missing piece of the puzzle in their family was finally back. For the months that Alice was gone, Bella had missed her sister desperately. She had always been the perkiest of the Cullen sisters and Bella had missed that bubbly nature for the dark months Alice was away.
When the song ended, she watched as Jacob and Renesmee took the floor again and Alice brought Evan out to dance. Watching the two of them, she sensed that there was something more there than met the eye. It was an intuition that only a sister would know. Even Edward, with his mind-reading capabilities, would not be able to detect this developing feeling if Bella's hunch was correct. She knew that Alice could not spend months with someone overseas and not feel some sort of attraction to him, especially when he was as sweet as Evan was. He was the very sort of gentleman that Alice fell for in Jasper all those years ago.
However, Bella would not dare ask her sister about that right now since this day was about Renesmee and Jacob. She would wait until after and have a conversation with Alice in a couple of days when the timing was right. Until then, Bella refocused her attention back to the reception and the joy of the night.

We're going to play 3 charries on this account, because we are too lazy to switch. Alexandra and Veronica had been sitting at one of the tables watching everyone. Both girls had enjoyed the ceremony. They were happy for Renesmee. She had found someone so special in her life and she looked so happy with Jake. They couldn't be more thrilled.
Of course, this brought back thoughts for Veronica about Jamie. She sorta envied Jake and Nessie in a way. But if everything worked out great, she would see Jamie again and they would never have to go away from one another.
Veronica looked at Alexandra. She was getting a little pale. "Uh, Lex?"
Alexandra was feeling a little queasy. She started to rock back and forth in her seat. She couldn't see straight. "Uh, I.....gotta go to the bathroom." She stood up and started to run to the house but feel down and grunting. She shriked in agony.
This caught Jasper's attention. "Lexie!" he shouted and ran over to her, vampire speed behind him.
Veronica saw this. "What the f-" she started to say. She ran over to her sister.
Jasper had Lexie in his arms. "Lexie! Lexie!"
Lexie threw up in Jasper's lap. It was a pool of blood.
Veronica stopped in horror when she saw her sister's vomit. "Oh my--! Bella!! Bella!!"
Jasper rocked Lexie forward once. "What's wrong? Are you okay?" He was freaking out, especially because Alice was there.
Lexie groaned. "My-" she hiccuped "-stomach hurts. So. Bad."
Oh no! Jasper thought. |

Bella heard her name shrieked by Ronnie and turned to find that Lexie had thrown up; a ton of blood on Jasper's lap. Oh crap, she thought. "It's starting... Instantly she ran over to help, giving firm directions to those around. "Jasper, get the hell away from here," she barked, knowing his weakness was human blood. "Ronnie, I need you to help me with your sister inside the house so Renesmee doesn't see this. She will freak out if she does. Please go get some cold washcloths from the kitchen."
Bella held tight to Lexie and began to go inside where she could better handle the situation. Thankfully, everyone else was too occupied with the reception to notice.

Jasper did exactly as Bella told him and ran far away from Forks. He couldn't be there around the blood. He ran to Vancouver and stopped.
Ronnie ran inside and got some wash cloths and ran back to help Bella into the house after she cleaned the pool of blood up that hadn't dripped off of Jasper's pants.
Once they were inside, Ronnie asked, "What the fuck is going on here?! People don't just throw up blood!" |

Bella got Lexie inside and to the couch, where she helped her lie down. Soon enough, Veronica was at her side asking what was wrong with her sister. "Ronnie, listen to me," Bella instructed gently, yet firmly. "I need you to calm down. Getting hyped up isn't going to help your sister at all. There is something else I need you to do, but you have to do as I say. Go back outside and stay there. Make up some excuse that Lexie needed to show me something, anything. I will take care of her, I promise. You just have to trust me." Bella knew without a doubt in her mind now that Lexie was pregnant with Jasper's child. However, she needed to find some way to take care of the current situation until the wedding was over and Renesmee and Jacob were on their honeymoon.

Veronica did trust Bella, however this was her sister they were talking about. All Veronica could do was obey Bella. She sighed and said, "Okay. I guess it's all I can do. But if she is worse when I come back, I swear I'm going to kill whoever did this to her!" She turned and walked out.
Jasper, in Vancouver, sat in the woods, not really sure where to go from here. It was bad enough that things had gotten this far, but when they weren't even his fault, it made them ten times worse. |

Bella waited until Veronica left the room before pulling out her phone. All of the blood had been cleaned up, so she decided that it was time for Jasper to bring his sorry self back to help take care of the problem. Quickly, she tapped out a text message to him.
The blood is all cleaned up. Come home now; we need to talk.

Once that was sent, she went back to tending to Lexie. She knew exactly how this was going to go down from her previous experience with her own pregnancy. Things were going to get so much more complicated around the household now that there was another half-vampire child on the way.

Jasper recieved Bella's text and quickly ran home. Bursting through the door, he abruptly asked, "How is she, is she okay?" His two questions were crushed together as one.
Alexandra moaned. "What's happening to me?" She hiccupped again, moaning afterwards. "It hurts so bad! It hurts so bad!" |

The moment Jasper walked through the door, Bella could have pounced on him right then. There was a vast amount of anger going through her veins at him, but she remained calm enough to answer his questions. "No, she is not okay Jasper," she hissed, lowering her tone so only he could hear. "She is pregnant with your baby. Do you have any idea of what you have done?"
Hearing Lexie coming around, she returned to her cousin's side and took her hand tenderly. "It's going to be alright Lexie," she crooned gently as a mother would to her child. "I know it hurts, but it will get better soon; I promise." After comforting her cousin, she shot another dirty look at Jasper.

"Bella I can't help what happened! I can't control her emotions and when I try I black out! I already told you this! Don't blame me for doing something I can't control!"
Alexandra was shocked when she heard Bella say "pregnant". She put her hands on her stomach and felt something hard inside. She saw the dirty look Bella threw Jasper and said, "Please Bella. It was my fault. I went out drinking and I went to see him afterwards. Don't be mad at Jasper. Please Bella, please. Blame me."
"No!" Jasper said tenderly kneeling down beside Lexie. "I shouldn't have tried to calm you down. It only backfired on me."
Lexie took Jasper's hand and squeezed it. His hand was hard as a rock and cold as ice. "You're not human are you?" she asked, almost in a whispered. "This isn't human is it?" A single tear ran down her face despite her small grin. |

Bella looked back to Lexie sympathetically. This really wasn't her fault either...it was an accident that should have never happened. "Lexie, I'm not going to blame you. And no, this baby is not human," she explained slowly. "What's happening to you is exactly what happened to me thirty years ago when I had my daughter. Renesmee...she's not really my sister...she's my child." For a moment, she let the thoughts sink into Lexie's mind that they were not human before continuing her explanation. "Edward, my husband, is not human either. In fact, none of the Cullens are. We're...vampires. And the baby growing inside of you is half-vampire."
While that thought was sinking into Lexie's mind, Bella turned to Jasper and snapped, "We are not going to tell anyone about this until after the wedding. And I will be the one breaking the news to Alice and Edward...especially if you want to keep your life because you know that Edward's reaction to this will be far worse than mine was. Until then, we are going to keep Lexie comfortable and keep things under control, which means that it would be better if you avoided Edward so he can't hear your thoughts."

Jasper stroked Lexie's hair as Bella talked to her and when Bella started yelling at him, he stood his ground. "You can't blame me for something I had no control over! If you're going to blame anyone, blame the fragile little human!"
"Yes!" Alexandra pleaded. "Blame me! Blame me! I'll tell Edward what happened! I don't want anyone made at Jasper! Please Bella!" |

Bella looked at both Jasper and Lexie sternly. Obviously, Jasper felt something toward her and she returned it. She narrowed her eyes and stepped closer to both of them. "We're not going to play the 'Blame Game' because I refuse to go back and forth on this issue any longer," she snapped. "This is what will happen. No one says anything to Alice about this but me and that goes for Edward as well. After the wedding is over and Nessie and Jake are gone, we will deal with this. Having dealt with this kind of pregnancy myself, I will tell you that it is the hardest thing in the world to go through. Lexie, your body will change rapidly and the baby will want blood all the time. Within a month's time, you'll give birth."
Bella began to pace the room to think of a plan to keep this under cover until she could break the news to Alice and Edward.
