Renesmee had not seen Jacob in quite a few days and missed him immensely. She understood his obligations to his pack, but she was his fiancee and only wanted to spend time with him. Instead of moping around the cottage all day, she decided to make use of her time by going down to First Beach.
She got up and got dressed in a tank top and athletic shorts for comfort. On her way out, she told her mom where she was going and grabbed her car keys. Her Porsche was her new favorite thing to drive, so she drove it every chance she got. Once she got there, she parked it and got out. Ditching her flip flops on the edge of the sand, she walked barefoot along the shore, letting the water lap over her toes. It was a beautiful day, which was rare in Forks and she was just enjoying the weather.

After working out in the house, she decided to go out for a jog. Delilah was wearing light orange tank top and black shorts. It was her usual workout that she does ever since she found out that she's a shape shifter. She was running towards the First Beach, wondering when she will phase and run through the woods once more. But then again, she had to go to Paris, regarding the business. There was some complication that her business partner told and had to talk to Noah about it if he wants to come with her or not.
She reached the beach and smelled an hybrid nearby. Delilah jogged towards her, guessing that it must be Jacob's fiancee looking for him. She stopped in front of her and smiled. "Hi, you must be Nessie; Jake's fiancee. I'm Delilah." She introduced herself.

Renesmee was caught off-guard by the new girl that completely startled her, which was hard to do, but she hadn't really been paying attention to much. When Delilah stopped right in front of her, she almost fell backward, except her impeccable balance saved her.
"Yeah, I'm Nessie," she replied to the strange girl in front of her. "How do you know Jake?"
Renesmee assumed that she was part of the pack, even though she had not officially met any of them yet. The girl in front of her looked Quileute, but she wasn't for sure. She hardly knew anyone outside of her family and Jacob, so meeting new people was always an adventure for Renesmee.

Finally meeting Jacob's fiancee, she never thought that she was beautiful. She watched her as she almost fell back, before she could reach out and hold her steady, Nessie hold her balance well. Delilah totally forgot about meeting the Cullens, but was happy that she met atleast one of the member of the Cullens.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Jake's friend and part of the pack. I just came back from Paris couple of weeks ago and hearing the rumors about you and Jake, I guessed that it must be you." Delilah replied happily. She was close to Jacob and everyone in the pack as well.

"Oh ok," Renesmee laughed and played with her engagement ring. "I guess everyone would know we were engaged with the pack mind. Jake couldn't keep anything quiet about that, even if he wanted to. We're pretty excited about getting married."
Meeting someone from Jacob's pack for the first time wasn't as scary as she had been envisioning it. Delilah was actually a very friendly person from what Renesmee could gather; and she was usually very dead on about people's personalities. She could tell that she was going to get along with Delilah quite well and possibly even become good friends.
"So, what has Jake been raving about lately involving me. I'm sure you guys get quite sick of hearing it," she joked.

She smiled as Nessie laughed. She never thought that Nessie would be friendly and have great personalities. She can tell that they're going to really good friends and get along just fine. Though, she wasn't sure why Jacob didn't introduce Nessie to everyone in the pack. "Congrats on the engagement and the wedding. Wish you luck in your life. Yeah, nothing could escape from Jake's mind. Though I haven't phased in couple of days so I haven't heard anything from his mind, so can't say thing about that. I'm happy for you and Jake for finding each other. And you two make the cutest couple." She said.
She looked at the water, relaxing. She was at the beach for the second time; first time when she spend the day with Noah and the second meeting Nessie. Delilah laughed on the joke Nessie had made about Jacob. "We get tried of it, but I can understand why. Being in love and finding your soul-mate changes everything in life." She looked back at Nessie when she said that. Of course, she had imprinted on Noah and was happy; her life changed right afterwards. She's happy, trusts Noah, and feels safe with him.

"It does change everything," Renesmee murmured. "Did you know that Jake imprinted on me at birth?"
Not very many people knew that and she wasn't sure if Delilah was one of those people. After all, Renesmee was very protected and sheltered by her family and Jacob. It was good to get out and talk to someone that was not related to her; a nice and welcomed change for once. Although she loved her family, sometimes she just wanted friends. And every girl needed them to get through the hard times. Planning her wedding was definitely one of those times.

"No I didn't know that. It's rare to find someone to imprint on newbarn babies." Delilah answered. She spoted a two big rocks and smiled. She took Nessie's hand and pulled her towards the big rocks. She sat on one of them, after working out for couple of hours. "What do you like to do for fun? Other than hanging out with Jake. I'm sorry if I'm asking questions. I just want to get to know you better. After all, you're part of the family now." Delilah wasn't sure if she was talking too much. She just wanted to get to know her better.

Renesmee sat on one of the rocks next to Delilah and laughed. Most of the time, she never really minded all the questions. It showed that someone had curiosity about her life and she enjoyed that. That's how friendships were formed and she definitely wanted friends.
"No, I don't mind the questions really," she reassured Delilah. "Mostly I like to read, write, play music on the piano, and occasionally challenge my uncles to Guitar Hero matches. I'm a little competitive sometimes when it comes to them."
She smiled sheepishly. Her competitive nature came entirely from her uncles, as they instilled it in her early in life. Most of the time, she found it quite humorous. They always took advantage of the fact that she was only half-vampire, but now she could definitely kill them in Guitar Hero without a second thought to it.
"How about you?" she asked. "Any particular hobbies?"

Hearing Nessie's laugh and her answer that she doesn't mind her questions, she was relived. Usually when she meets people and asks them questions, they don't either reply or just turn the topic around. Delilah never met someone like Nessie before, fun, kind, loving, free, and little competitive. She listened to what she likes to do for fun and laughed when she mentioned about her uncles.
She's just another kid. Jake and Nessie are perfect for each other. She thought to herself. "Being little competitive is a good thing sometimes. I'm little competitive myself." When Nessie asked the question to her, she shrugged. "Not whole lot. Just draw, read, play sports, watch movies, and be myself." Delilah replied. She and Nessie had things in common and was happy that she ran into her.

She giggled, "You and I have a lot in common. It's nice to finally meet someone outside the family. Most of my family are a little overprotective of me and so I don't get to meet new people that often."
There was also the fact that she was one of the most unique people in the world that had her family on alert when she was younger. The Volturri had come once before to hurt her and that had been the most stressful time for her family. Not only did they have to worry about that threat, but Alice and Jasper left the family to find help without giving any warning and her mother was a new vampire. It had been the most terrifying time in Renesmee's life and she thought her family was going to be destroyed.
But everything had worked out for the better and they were all happy and alive. Most of all, she was finally ready to marry Jacob, which was a cause for celebration among everyone in her family and his pack.
"So, do you have a boyfriend or a guy you're interested in?" she asked. She wanted to know everything about her new friend.

Sitting there with her new friend, she listened to what she had to say. She never thought that she would take time and get to know Nessie. After all, she's Jacob's fiancee and to-be, his, wife. Delilah chuckled on what Nessie had said about her family. "You're special, that's why. And plus, you're the only child in the house. So I would understand. Plus, if I had a kid, I would be protective of it." She said.
If she had imprinted on someone when she was in high school, then she would have been married and had kids by now. But she didn't; and she is happy about that. Delilah imprinted on Noah, on the first time they met. Then after few days, he had. She still couldn't believe it that she found her soul-mate and he doesn't have a problem on the fact that she's fifty years old but looks young.
She lost herself by thinking about Noah and remembering when she met him and everything right after it. She came back into reality when she heard a question that Nessie had asked. She looked at her and smiled. "Yeah, I have a boyfriend, Noah. My soul-mate, my world, my life, I'm just crazy about him." Delilah answered truthfully.

"Well you and Noah have to come to Jake and I's wedding. We're getting married Christmas Eve at my family's mansion," she gushed. "I can't believe that it's less than three months away! It seems like forever though, especially since Jake and I have waited thirty years to be together."
Renesmee was ready to say "I do" to Jacob and declare their love before family and friends. Unlike her mother, who had been advertant to marriage before marrying her father, she was sure and set on marrying Jacob. They were meant to be together and had been since her birth; no one else could love her the way he did.

Delilah laughed when Nessie rushed on what she said about joining Jacob's and Nessie's wedding. She couldn't say no to that and plus, Jacob was her close friend; now, so was Nessie. Okay maybe not close, but they were good friends. "I'll be there. If you need help, just tell me and I'll be happy to help." She said. She had attended couple of weddings but never from the pack. It was her first time that she's going to attend, someone from the pack, wedding. She could see the happiness in Nessie's eyes and so can she when she sees Jacob. "Three months isn't long as thirty years." Delilah pointed out. If she had to move back to Paris for good, she knew that Noah would come and she will surprise him by bring his mom with them.

"Good point," she said in reply to Delilah's comment about three months not being as long as thirty years.
Renesmee was glad Delilah offered her any help she needed. In truth, her aunts and mother would have almost everything covered about the plans for the wedding. However, Renesmee knew that the closer the date got, she would need lots of moral support from friends. Brides were always nervous and she was certain she wouldn't be the exception to that rule.
"I think I'll need someone there to keep me sane while all the crazy stuff is going on," she joked. "My family is a little insane when it comes to planning stuff for me. They always have been, but I love them anyways. And I know that the night before the wedding will be out of control with my aunts; I have no idea what they are planning for me."
That was the one thing she truly feared about getting married, was the before parties that her family was planning for her and Jacob. Her uncles and father were sure to give Jacob a bachelor party that would embarrass him. And the bachelorette party for her wasn't going to be much less embarrassing for her, but she knew it was all in good fun from the ones she loved.
