Jasper held Alice tightly as he kissed her softly. They had finally arrived back in forks and were minutes away from announcing the news. “I think it’s best if you go in first.” He said looking up at the house with a smile. Jasper slid off his ring and placed it in his pocket, adding more to the act the two of them would be performing before surprising their family. “Might I add you look adorable like always.” He leaned in closer knowing that he did not want to let her go but knew it was necessary in order for them to briefly fool the family. His heart longed for her every minute he was not holding her and he knew those few seconds they would be apart would be extra hard on him, pretending like the two of them had not just gotten married.
“Good luck my little monster.” He smiled before crossing his fingers. “Break a leg I know you will knock them dead with the performance of a life time. I will be in shortly after you.” he smiled. Jasper was excited about seeing the faces of his family as the realized that things were more than just fine between Alice and him. Jasper kissed her on the lips before releasing his grip on her waiting for her to enter to house before him. He imagined that Edward had already picked up on their plan but he knew very well he would keep it a secret until the two of them officially announced it.

Alice felt Jasper's lips against her own and couldn't help but giggle happily. Being married to the love of her existence again had brought her untold happiness that she could never parallel to anything else for as long as she was alive. Hearing his voice in her ear, she knew that she would have to let go of him soon if they were going to go through with their plan of fooling their family before annoucing that they were officially remarried. Although, their brother Edward would know they already were, she knew he would keep it to himself until they officially announced it themselves. "I love you," she whispered so low that only he could hear her before kissing him one last time and turning to go inside the mansion.
It was empty, but Alice could sense the presence of her family members nearby, knowing that Bella and Edward would probably be at their cottage and Rosalie, Emmett, Carlisle, and Esme would be somewhere around the house. Taking a few steps around the living room, she turned her engagement ring around so the diamond wasn't visible before sitting down at the piano bench. She knew that playing would probably draw the attention of anyone in the house, so she started playing softly the first few notes of one of the many songs she knew by heart. It was one she had learned from Edward long ago when she wanted to try something new. The song was happy and upbeat, much like her personality, but at the same time musically beautiful all by itself. She hoped her family would start to come in soon. Her heart was bursting with excitement to see their faces when they told them that she and Jasper were remarried.

Edward had been out with Seth most of the day. They were finally getting a chance to catch up on all the time apart. Edward was glad to have Seth back in his life. Seth had become one of Edwards closest friends in the years after the alliance with the pack. Edward had left Seth at the boundary between the reservation and the Cullen land. He was walking back to the cottage to wait for Bella when he caught the thoughts of his favorite sister and his brother. Edward smiled to himself as he quickly changed his direction and headed to the house. Edward could hear Alice playing on his Piano and knew what she was doing. He knew that she was the only one in the house.
He slipped in through the back door and walked over to her at the piano. He smiled as he bent down to wrap his arms around her from the back. "See, I told you it would all work out." He whispered in her ear so that only she could her him. He knew that his twin was happy again and that make him happy. He loved having his closest sister back and knew that she would be his favorite little monster again now.

Alice had never really expected to fall in love again with the man she had fallen for so long ago, given all that they had both endured over the last year of their existence. Her visions hadn't told her anything in recent weeks either, but when she saw Jasper in that diner and knew that they were both making a decision together, her visions were clear as day again. She saw them together and happy once again. The love she had for Jasper was boundless and seamless because he made her a better person. He understood her in a way that no one else would, just as she understood him. They were true soulmates, unhinged by anyone or anything. Though they had been temporarily divorced because of some decisions that both of them had made, she wouldn't allow that to dampen how much love emulated from her heart for him now.
As she thought on that, she heard her brother enter the house from behind her. Her fingers still went across the piano keys lightly, morphing into another song entirely. Playing it, she thought of Jasper and knew that Edward would hear her thoughts. When Edward hugged her and whispered that he knew it would all work out, she smiled. I knew the moment he walked into the diner again that everything would be okay, she thought, flashing back to when she saw Jasper walking into the diner again in Philadelphia. It would be a memory she would never forget, no matter how long they lived. Jasper was the one true part of her heart that she never wanted to lose again. Her fingers stroked the keys as she finished the song and turned around on the piano bench to face her brother. "Hello Edward," she said sweetly, giving him a genuine smile.

Edward was happy to see Alice happy again. He knew that things in the family would get back to normal now, well as normal as thing ever where in the Cullen family. He knew what she was planning and smiled at her. The rest of the family would be over joyed that he and Jasper were back together. Edward hoped that things would settle back down now. They had other things to worry about.
He moved to her side at the piano and started playing with her. It had been years since they had played together and he would play with her until the rest of the family arrived at the house. He wondered where Bella was and why she wasn't her yet. It was not like her to take her time getting home when one of the family called for a meeting. "The rest of the family should be here soon." Edward said to her as he took over playing the low notes in the song.

Rose was in her room with the window open waiting for Emmett when she caught the scent of her twin and Alice. She could tell that her brother was still outside and she was not sure why. She went down stairs to see what was going on. She saw Alice and Edward in the house. "Whats gone on, why is Jasper still outside?"

Emmett was in Port Angeles taking care of a mess there when he got the message to return home. He jumped in his jeep and floored it to get home. As he passed the house he noticed Jasper out front. Emmett parked and went in to the house to see Rose. He went to her side to wait for the rest of the family as he knew that Alice would not tell them what the hell was going on.

Jasper figured he had stood outside long enough, and decided to enter the house. Upon entering he could smell the scent of his family gathering, but he did not look at any of their faces. Instead he took a set in the far corner of the room and began flipping through a book that was sitting next to it. Jasper brought a sense of calmness to the room knowing that they really did not need to worry because soon Alice would be once again in his arms and they would announce the news of their marriage. He wore a very stern and unemotional face, which was incredibly hard knowing Alice, the love of his life, was in the same room with him.

Esme had been in the kitchen, going through some ideas she had for a kitchen remodel. She was envisioning a new island, new cabinets, and possibly some extra room for the dining room. She looked up as she sensed all of her children gathering in the front room, so she went to stand in the doorway, silent, but watching to see what was going on.

Alice sat quietly at the piano, knowing that her brother's words were true as she could see the rest of the family coming in the immediate future. When Rosalie arrived, she asked why Jasper was still outside, but Alice said nothing in reply. The rest of the family had no idea that she and Jasper were back together once again, so she stayed silent as part of the surprise factor. As Emmett arrived, she smiled seeing her big brother standing in the room. Today was just one of those days where nothing in the world could bother Alice. When Jasper entered the room a few moments later, she could hardly contain herself, but felt his calming presence wrap around her as he controlled the mood of the room as he walked over to the side, casually reading a book.
She could hardly wait to run to his arms and tell the family the news of their remarriage, knowing that they would all be relieved to see their family complete once more. The only people missing were Carlisle, Bella, Jacob, Nessie, and little Alicia. Although, she had an inkling that Carlisle would just have to hear it from Esme later on because of his work at the hospital, which was important to their role here in Forks in the first place. Looking around, she smiled at all the faces of their family, knowing that for the first time in almost a year, she was truly happy once again. A kind of happiness that exuded from her soul outward, just like the old Alice Cullen that everyone once knew and adored. "Bella, Jake, and Nessie should be here soon," she said, seeing their arrivals in the immediate future.

Rose watched as her twin enter the room and calmly walk to a chair and sit down. She knew her twin well enough to know that something had changed but she would wait for him to tell her when he was ready. She moved from Emmett's side and went to where her brother was in the chair. She walk around behind the chair and knelt down behind him as she wrapped her arms around him neck in loose hug. She leaned in and softly kissed his cheek. She whispered softly in his ear so that only he could hear her. " I am glad you are home. I have missed you, brother. It is nice to see you back to your self. I have missed my twin." She smiled at him as she stood up from behind him to stand at his side with her hand on his shoulder. She needed to be close to him as she had missed him greatly. She lifted her other hand out to Emmett for him to come to her other side. She want both of her favorite men close to her.

Looking up at his sister, he gave a soft smile before return back to an emotionless expression scared it might give too much away if he smiled for very long. “I have missed you too.” He said turning to face her a little more. Looking towards Alice he tried to catch her eye he knew that the rest of the family most likely would be showing up soon and the two of them would finally announce the news. Jasper could feel that the room was filling with anxiety; his family obviously knew that something was up. Jasper tried hard to help level out the emotions that might have been stirring in the air around him. Not wanting to give too much away he went right back to his book. It was hard to not want to run up to Alice and flood her with kisses before they broke the news.
