Bella had heard her phone many times telling her that she had received an incoming text message, but was so busy on the phone that she had pushed it back for several moments. Trying to surprise Edward wasn’t exactly the easiest thing in the world to do; luckily it was easier for her than others. But she had been working hard for nearly a week on something that she wanted to surprise him with later and the call she was on was crucial to her plan following through. Finally able to finish it she looked down at her phone and read the message quickly. Bella took her hair down from the ponytail that had held it together throughout the day so far and went to change quickly. Bella changed into a pair of jeans and a grey t-shirt, not really caring this afternoon how Alice would pick apart her choice of wardrobe. Pulling on a pair of converse shoes she quickly laced them up before she bolted out of the house.
Reaching the Cullen house was just as mesmerizing as it had been when she was human. She would never get used to how elegant, graceful and beautiful the Cullen family was. And she would always feel like the awkward outsider that didn’t belong. Coming to a slow pace, she wiped the mud off of her feet in fear of what Esme would do had she ruined any of the rugs or carpets. Taking in the scents she smiled brightly as she could sense Jasper. She hadn’t talked to him since the day before, and she had adored getting to know him even better. Their relationship had actually gotten more close over the period of time where it seemed as though he was slipping from the family. He was her brother, and she adored every bit of him. Walking carefully into the room , taking in the scent of others in her family she looked around among them. Alice and Jasper being in the same room had to be because something important was going on… or maybe they were doing the right thing and trying to be friends and work from there. They had both done a lot of damage to the other, jumping into something serious right away would be careless. “ Hello,..” she said quietly as looked around the room. Instantly feeling that Jasper must have been setting a calm setting, that made her slightly insane. She hated it when he did that.. forced a tone upon them. She felt helpless in her own body. Moving over to Edward she wrapped her hand loosely around his neck and kissed his cheek before she stepped back.
