Watching Alicia eat her ice cream, Renesmee couldn't help but smile. It was adorable seeing any two-year-old eat an ice cream cone, but to see her own child was even more cute. It reminded her of Jacob because of the way her eyes were all lit up and how she was continuously happy-go-lucky. Jacob was very much that way and so it was only natural that their daughter would be the same way. Renesmee dug into her own ice cream and enjoyed every bit of it, as the last time she had had ice cream was while she was pregnant with Alicia. Hot chocolate was her favorite kind, so she was definitely glad they had come to this particular parlor.
As they finished up their afternoon treat, Alicia looked over at her and asked for another story. Renesmee laughed, finding it amusing that her daughter was so imaginative and curious at the same time. Searching her mind, she found another story to tell her daughter that she was certain to enjoy. "A long time ago, there lived a very beautiful vampire," she began, "and she was the most stunning vampire anyone had ever seen in the whole world, but...she was lonely. And even though she had family that loved her, she did not have that special someone to love, like I love your daddy." Renesmee knew that telling her family's stories was special to her because it reminded her of how precious they all were to her. "So, she would often go hunting alone and think about how to get by in life...but one hunting trip changed her life...."

Alicia grew silent as Renesmee began to tell her next story. She was fascinated by this story of a beautiful vampire who was lonely. Alicia did not like being alone so she imagined the vampire being pretty upset to be lonely. "So, she would often go hunting alone and think about how to get by in life...but one hunting trip changed her life...." Alicia sat up and looking at her mother asked “What happened?” Alicia was hooked and was dying to find out what this beautiful vampire had encounter during her hunting trip.
As Alicia waited for her mother to responds another vision came to her. She saw Alice and several other faces she knew standing around at the Cullen’s mansion. They seemed to be having a meeting. As soon as that vision faded out The Red hair women and the young man she was with were leaving the place they had been meeting at. Alicia did not feel like the women or young man had any plans for that night, but she could sense something was going to happen in the near future. Her last Vision was of a Wolf waiting outside the Cullen’s mansion but this one looked different than the first one she had seen. Alicia pretended nothing happened out of fear of scaring herself more along with her mother. " I'm must be sleeply." she said forcing out a yawn and trying to play it off as she was having bad day dreams.

Renesmee laughed and smiled as the new story intrigued her daughter yet again, captivating her entire attention. She knew that stories would only last so long for a child as intelligent as Alicia, but she would enjoy them while they lasted. It would only be a matter of time before she was requesting Shakespeare or other great novelists and poets like she had done when she was young. But for now, Renesmee was going to simply enjoy telling a story to her daughter. Before she could continue, however, she watched Alicia slip into yet another vision. These were becoming more and more frequent now, which was worrying Renesmee to no end. When Alicia came out of it, she just stated that she was sleepy, so Renesmee decided to just acknowledge that until she could talk with Jacob and Alice about the visions.
Leaning forward, she kissed her daughter's forehead. "Well, on the hunting trip the beautiful vampire came across a man who had been attacked by a bear!" she said, continuing her story to keep Alicia's mind off what she had just seen in her vision. "And the beautiful vampire couldn't just let him die like that, so she carried the man over a hundred miles back to her family. After he was changed, he became her soul mate and best friend." It wasn't every day that she got to reminisce about the stories of the past, so today Renesmee was thankful her daughter was so curious about stories. Giving a faint smile, Renesmee scooted out of the booth they were sitting in. "I think it's time to go home and make Daddy those cookies, what do you think?" she asked playfully as she turned around and looked at Alicia.

Alicia was very thankful that her mother continued the rest of her story about the beautiful vampire who ended up meeting her soul mate after saving him from a bad bear attack. When her mother finally asked her if she wanted to make cookies now Alicia nodded and gave a smile “ I bet daddy is going to be very happy.” she said. Alicia was looking forward to making cookies with her mother and then seeing the look of joy on her father face when he discovers what they had for him when they were done.
Alicia raised her arms up to her mother to let her know she wanted to be picked up once more. She knew that she was growing rather tired, because the day had been very stimulating and exciting at the same time. she gave a small yawn then another smile as she waited for her mothers embrace.

The joy on her daughter's face spoke for itself as her smile lit up at the mention of making those cookies for Jacob. As Alicia got out of the booth, she reached up her arms to be picked up, which Renesmee obliged happily as she scooped her daughter into her arms. It had been an exciting day, full of fun and adventure for a little one like Alicia, but she was sure this had been well worth it because of the time they had spent together. "Daddy is going to be very surprised and happy," she agreed as she walked out of the ice cream parlor with Alicia in her arms. She made her way down the sidewalk toward her parked car.
Less than five minutes later, they were at the car and Renesmee had buckled Alicia into her car seat. Once her little one was taken care of, she was in the front seat and starting the car to head home. A few moments later, they were on the highway back toward Forks. Looking back at Alicia, she smiled. "When we get home, we have to hurry and make the cookies so we can surprise Daddy. He will be home pretty soon, so we can make the cookies and then hide," she said cheerfully, knowing it would be a good game for them to play.

Alicia was excited that they were on their way to surprise her dad with cookies. She was even more excited to hear that they would be hiding right after the cookies were made at set out for her father to discover. Alicia loved surprises more than anything, she especially like surprising her father with something she knew he would enjoy. Alicia was starting to grow a little impatient with having to wait for her father because she wanted to see him so badly. As the car drove on Alicia found herself closing her eyes and falling asleep.
Alicia dreamed that she was walking along the beach of La Push with her father and mother. At one point Alicia ran ahead to pick up a few colored rocks. Alicia collected them quickly and then returned to her parents to show off her new treasures. Her father was gone, but her mother reminded standing by a wolf that seemed to be smiling.

Renesmee pushed on further toward Forks, thinking about how excited she was to see Jacob and how giddy her little one was to surprise him. For a moment, she peeked back to the back seat to see that Alicia had fallen asleep. A smile spread across her face as she saw how peaceful her daughter looked, like she was having a good dream. It was a relief for Renesmee to see that her daughter wasn't having nightmares again. Those worried her more than anything because Alicia was so young and was already having terrifying visions; she didn't need to add nightmares to that already horrible experience.
When she saw the sign for Forks approaching, she slowed her speed to turn off on the side road that lead to their house, right on the dividing line between Forks and La Push. She and Jacob had decided to live there once they returned home from their honeymoon to stay close to her family and the pack as well. It had worked out wonderfully so far and they were really enjoying their house. As she pulled into the driveway, she put the car in park and cut the engine before getting out and walking around to the back to grab the bags from earlier and then around to the side. She opened the door and unbuckled Alicia from her carseat, pulling her close to her chest to carry her into the house without waking her. As she walked into the house, she ditched the bags on the couch before looking down at her daughter and kissing her gently on the forehead. "Hey pumpkin, we're home," she whispered softly. "It's time to make Daddy's cookies."

Alicia felt her mother gently kiss her on the forehead and her tiny eyes slowly opened up. She gave a yawn and then smiled at her mother. It did not take very long for her to wake up considering she was very excited about making cookies for her mother. “We better make them fast before daddy gets home so we can hide.” She said happily. Leaning against her mother’s chest she gave out another yawn and then looked up at her mother once more as a soft sigh escaped her lips. Alicia was very thankful for her short nap because she could tell it was just enough of a boost to get her through the rest of the day.
The day had been fun and Alicia was grateful she was able to spend time with her mother like she had today. Alicia was even more excited that her father would be coming home any minute and would soon have cookies waiting for him.

Renesmee laughed lightly as her little girl declared that they needed to make the cookies quickly before Jacob got home so they could hide. Most definitely Jacob's child... she mused to herself about Alicia's playful nature. Setting her down, she went into the cabinets and fridge to get out the ingredients to make the cookies that they wanted to make for Jacob, including the milk, sugar, peanut butter, and various other cooking utensils and ingredients. Within minutes she had the mix ready and waiting in the fridge and the oven heating up. While she waited for the dough to set and the oven to heat up, she cleaned up the kitchen and turned around to her little one.
"How about we make some icing for the sugar cookies?" she asked sweetly, getting out a new bowl and the ingredients to make the icing, including different colors of food coloring. She knew Alicia would love getting her hands dirty, so she pulled up a step stool that was just high enough so Alicia could climb up and help out.

When Alicia was awake and somewhat function she heard her mother request to make the sugar cookie icing. “Yes we should make it all the colors of the rainbow.” Alicia added pointing to the food coloring.” We can make a few colors and then make color strips down the cookie like a rainbow.” She said clapping her hands together with delight.
Standing on her toes she tried to make out what her mother was doing at the counter. This activity excited her beyond all reason and she was most of all excited about surprising her father when he got home. Alicia was also excited at the fact she would be able to test taste the cookies when they were done just to make sure they were going to be just good enough for her hungry father to enjoy.

Renesmee smiled happily at her daughter's enthusiasm to make the icing for the cookies. She knew that this age of innocence would only last so long before Alicia grew again, so she was going to soak up as much of it as she could now while it lasted. She mixed up a large bowl of white icing before splitting it into five smaller bowls before putting a few drops of food coloring into each one, mixing them into the separate colors: red, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Just as she finished making the icing, the oven was ready so she dished out the dough and put it in the oven to bake. Turning around to her little one, she took a dab of icing and placed it on her nose. "You are my sweet little angel," she said, smiling. "Even sweeter than cookie icing."
Looking at her daughter, she could see how much of herself was in Alicia, especially her big brown eyes and cute little nose. But she also saw a lot of Jacob there too, in her smile most of all. She had always wondered if she and Jacob were able to have a child, what that child would look like and now she had that very child in the flesh right in front of her, perfect and beautiful in every way. Alicia was so adorable that you couldn't help but love her from the minute you laid eyes on her and had been that way since the moment she was born. Everyone in their family was entranced by how cute she was. Jacob was wrapped around her little finger without effort at all. It was one of the sweetest things Renesmee had ever seen and she hoped their relationship as father and daughter would continue to grow into what she had with her own father.
