Lexi knew that it was time for her to go home. She had already seen Tash and Jake. Now is was time for her to see Quil and Claire. Lexi was not sure exactly were she would be staying yet, but she would figure that out after she talked to her cousin. Lexi got back to her car and drove it down the familiar streets to her cousins house. Lexi got out of the car and stared at the house for a few minutes, remembering all the good times that she and Quil had shared when they were kids in this house.
Lexi pushed off the side of the car and walked up to the house. She reached out her hand and knocked on the door with her signature knock. If Quil was home and remembered the knock, he would know instantly who was at the door. Lexi remembered to last time that she had stood at this door and waited for it to open. She was 18 and had just finished high school. She had come to LaPush to spend the summer with her favorite cousin, before leaving for college. That summer had changed her life forever. She phased for the first time that summer and joined the pack. That was also the summer that she found out that if she was a wolf, then her father had to be from LaPush and a descendant of the Great Spirit Chief. After she phased, Lexie had learned all the stories of the history of the tribe.
Lexi was lost in her thoughts of the past as she waited for the door to open. She knew that if Quil was not home, that Claire might not remember her. Claire had been a toddler when Lexi left for college. Lexi was starting to get nervious as she stood at the door.

EJ was all sprawled out on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and a can of Pepsi when heard a know on the door. He was going to tell his mother someone was there but she would probably make him answer the door anyway. Sighing Embry got off the couch am placed this things on the end table before answering the door. There stood a woman he did not know and he looked at her funny for a second before speaking up. "Hey ummm if your Selling something I don't want it?" Embry then laughed before adding a few words. " Are you my mom's friend because you look kind of you to be hang out with her?" Embry had no clue who the person standing in front of him was, She not look to familiar sohedid not know why she was standing at the front door.

Lexi laughed as the kid opened the door, and she realized that to him she would look close to his age. "I am Alexandria Lightfeather, but you may call me Lexi. I am Quil's first cousin. Is he or Claire here?" Lexi him as she looked around him and into the house. It had not changed that much in thirty years. She could smell the boy and tell that he was a wolf like her. She figured that if he was at Quil's house, he must be Quil's son and that would make him EJ. "You must be EJ?" She asked him as she waited for him to let her in.

Embry furrowed his eyebrows and looked at the woman who just said her name was Lexi. When she said she was his father cousin Embry was not too surprised. She smelled like a wolf but he was shocked he hand never met her and she was so young. She must have stayed young like Jake. " ya I am Ej so I am like your cousin cool..I think mom is here you can in if you want. Embry held the door open wider so he could let her in. "My mom is home I think I don't know if dad is here he is usually in and out a lot." Embry explained before turning back to look at Lexi " Hey so you dad cousin how old are you really? Embry was curious about Lexi he never met her in person but there where a few times whne he phased her hear the name Lexi in his head.

Lexi laughed as EJ talked and let her in the house. She was excited to see Quil and Claire again. She had not seen Claire since she was a toddler. "Yes, you are my second cousin." She said to him. "Quil's mom and my mom were sister's." Lexi explained the connections to his. Lexi wondered if her room was still available, though Tash had offered for her to stay at the Black house. Lexi still had not totally decided were she was going to stay. Lexi knew that she would need a perminant place to stay, and the choices on the rez, where not many. When EJ asked her how old she was, she laughed. "Don't you know that it is not polite to ask a woman her age?" She asked him before answering the question. "I am 48, now why? Lexi said the him smiling.

Embry smiled at Lexi "oh well you the first cousin I met on dad side beside Jake but i consider him more like an uncle. Embry explained he did nit have any uncles or aunts of his one so Jacob and Nessie became like his aunt and uncle. He was a little shocked when she said it was not polite to ask a woman her age but to Embry the same thing did not apply to Female wolves. " I just wanted to know how close in age you are to Jake, Dad and Del. You know all the old wolves. I am twelve it that matters at all. Embry walked over to the couch am motion Lexi to go sit down. "I can go see if my mom is home, she usually is I think she worries about me too much. She stays close to home. It kind of stinks," he whispered before going leaving the room to see if Claire was home "Mom Dad's cousin Lexi is here" he yelled to see if he would get a response .

Lexi laughted as Embry talked about the age thing and about the old wolves as he put it. She could not take offense to it. They were old in the eyes of the new generation. "I am actually two years older than your Dad." Lexi said to him as she walked over to the couch and sat down. Lexi looked around the living room and smiled everything was the same. Of course there was new furniture in the room, but it was in the exact same spot as the old furniture. She loved being home. Lexi wondered about her room. She had put a pad lock on the door the day that she left, but she knew that Quil had a key to it and she wondered if it was still her room, or if Quil had given it to the kid. Lexi watched as Embry called for Claire. "So Embry, does the door at the end of the hall still have a pad lock on it?" Lexi asked him, with a small tilt of her head.
