"Alrighty, Miss Lucy Elaine Daniels, I will do my best, not to blab, wouldn't want you to have to kick my butt." Kaleb said sarcastically. Then he smiled at her and thought for a moment before answering her question. "Weeeeell, You already know my middle name, Because my full name is John Kaleb Hall, I don't remember if I told you that or not. I'm an only child too, except my mom had been pregnant before me, it was a girl but she lost the baby during delivery. Her name was Karly Diane. Ummm. I'm into being outdoors. I wouldn't have minded living back in the frontier days. My friends always used say I was born in the wrong century. But to them I was more shy than I have been up here for some reason."
Kaleb then sighed and shrugged, he figured that he could stop blabbing about himself and redirect the conversation back to Lucy. It seemed that in the short amount of time he opened his mouth all that came out seemed to be kind of depressing. "So, what kind of dancing can you, just flat out not do?" he said with a curious grin.

Lucy laughed at Kaleb’s sarcastic response to her empty threat. She listened interested as Kaleb told her what his actual name was and Lucy thought it was pretty cool that he went by his middle name. Lucy listened then with a broken heart as Kaleb talked about the baby girl that had come before him, but was not able to fully join the world. At that point Lucy wanted to give Kaleb a hug and she wasn’t fully sure why that was. He then changed the subject to how much he loved the outdoors and that his friends had told him that he was in the wrong century. Lucy grinned thinking, ‘I don’t know Cowboy having you in this century is pretty nice.’
Lucy also could not imagine Kaleb in the city, he really was a country boy. Lucy flashed a grin towards Kaleb, “Well if it makes you feel better I am doing a lot more of outdoorsy stuff then my friends would ever expect me to do.” A few moments later Kaleb asked, "So, what kind of dancing can you, just flat out not do?" Lucy could feel herself flinch slightly and she made a face, “Well the first one isn’t such a biggie I don’t really know how to ballroom dance; I know I know kinda silly. Anyway the other type of dancing I just don’t get was something that my dance instructor had been trying to teach before I moved here to Forks. I think what it’s called is Two Step or something like that, I’m not really all that sure.”

Half way through his sandwich, Kaleb listened intently as Lucy explained about the two dances she didn't think that she could do. A snicker escaped Kaleb and it turned into a louder laugh that he couldn't suppress. "Ahem...The Two-step!? That's the Texas Two-step! That's my kinda dancin!" Kaleb sat there a moment and then decided that he was going to teach her. He took his phone out of his pocket and pushed play on the built in mp3 player, then he stood up and motioned to Lucy, "Wadda ya say, little lady? Care to dance? It's really not that hard." He began dancing by himself and counting out loud in time with the music. "One, one, two. One, one, two. Come on Luce!"

Lucy realized that she had just made a monstrous mistake as Kaleb’s snicker grew into his contagious laughter. She felt herself slap a hand over her face as she watched him through the spaces between her fingers. After a few seconds and one seriously lit up face Kaleb cleared his throat slightly and repeated the name of the dance. Lucy felt herself frown slightly and suspiciously as he spoke, “Um yeah I think that’s what my teacher called it.” Lucy watched Kaleb as he seemed to be intently thinking about something as she saw the wheels turning she flinched and said, “Oh crap.” Not a moment later Kaleb was on his feet with music playing from his phone with a beat that sounded painfully familiar to Lucy. Mentally Lucy looked up and yelled as loud as she could in her thoughts, ‘What in the hell did I ever do to you big guy?’
Even as Kaleb was being the perfect gentleman and offering to teach Lucy how to do a dance he knew all about, Lucy wanted to crawl in a hole. ‘Look at it this way Luce it is either dance or try and get on the Cujo on steroids over there. Oh god I cannot believe I am doing this.’ With a slightly over dramatic sigh Lucy got up from the safety of her rock and walked up to the dancing Kaleb. She knew enough about Two Step to know that they would have to hold hands, ‘Damn.’ Lucy thought to herself sarcastically. She slid one of her hands into Kaleb’s and rested the other one on his shoulder. At that point Lucy felt herself relaxed enough to apologize, “Sorry in advance Cowboy.” She felt a hint of a grin on her face as she argued with herself to not look down at her feet.

"Haha, you look so enthused. No, really, I know it's goofy lookin, but that's prolly just cause it's me dancing by myself...it really is fun, I promise." By now she was standing and staring at him like he was the biggest dork on the face of the earth, but he didn't care one bit. Smiling from ear to ear as she took his hand and put her other on his shoulder he looked her square in the eyes and counted under his breath to the upbeat oldies song of 'Good Ride Cowboy' By Garth Brooks. He really hadn't meant to pick this song, it was just where it picked up from the last time he used his mp3. He started laughing and moving, allowing time for Lucy to follow his steps, still counting quietly to the beat and loving the look on Lucy's face. Once they found the rhythm he said "See!?" He waited for just the right moment to take a step back and que her for a spin. ((ooc: sorry for the slight godmod, kinda hard not to, lol...but here's a link to the song I couldn't find a link of just the song, so here's a video with some good lookin (and not so good lookin) bull riders to check out haha ) www.youtube.com/watch?v=47U3tVfIpEU

Lucy allowed an undignified snort escape when Kaleb called the dancing fun. “Oh yeah Cowboy that being said by the guy who knows what the heck he’s doing.” Lucy was trying to be in a sour mood but the smile on Kaleb’s face made it nearly impossible. She looked up realizing she was faced to face with Kaleb’s striking blue eyes. Lucy felt her breathing quicken as Kaleb started laughing. Before she was given any chance to realize what she was suppose to be doing Kaleb was leading her around. Kaleb started laughing again and Lucy realized it was most likely due to her sheer look of panic.
Thankfully though his laughter helped Lucy relax as did sticking her tongue out at him. They slipped into a rhythm after a few moments and Lucy could hear some of the pride in Kaleb’s voice when he said, “See!?” Lucy tried to play it off as if it were nothing as she rolled her eyes but she couldn’t stop some of the pride edging into her voice, “Oh yeah Cowboy; try not to get too cocky.” Lucy grinned at Kaleb thinking she actually was excited that she was dancing with Kaleb. Apparently Kaleb thought that she was doing well enough because he started to step back. ‘Oh boy this will be interesting.’ Lucy thought as she realized that Kaleb was going to spin her.
