Addison put her camera back into her bag with a smile still on her face and then she put Evan’s picture into the section of the book that held his profile. She laughed as Evan joked about the lack of picture taking that would be possible with vampires. Putting on a face of mock seriousness, “Finding the camera that could deal with the sparkliness of a vampire was difficult.”
She laughed to show the fact that she had just been kidding. Evan then continued by taking a drink from his glass and noted that she knew everything about him, but he knew nothing about her. ‘This will be interesting.’ Addison thought with a sigh. “Well let’s see where do I start?” Addison took a drink from her blood, “I was born as a human about thirty nine years ago in New York. I was seventeen years old when I was introduced to this life. It is all a little hazy but I remember being in central park and some creepy guy tried to talk to me. I don’t really remember what I was at the park for, but I remember sending the guy on his way next thing I know I get knocked out. I woke up in the country side with my throat burning like no one’s business. I just remember being completely horrified with what I had become.” Addison took a second to breath in more air and allow Evan to digest what she had told about her life. She reflected on what she had said and on her life in general; Addison chuckled and shook her head. She looked back up at Evan and continued, “I remember running into the country side and the rest of it is pretty much history.”
Addison laughed at the irony in that statement. With a grin on her face she finished up with the happier part of her life, “I have to brag that I have not touched human blood. Oh and about six years ago found out that I can freeze things. Extremely helpful ability when the bouncer of a club thinks you are under age.” Addison reflected on her life and she was proud of the fact that she had never harmed a human. She also loved the fact that she had collected so much on the history of the vampire world. Life was good.

Evan sat back and listened with fascination as Addison recounted her human life, which was relatively short compared to her life as a vampire. Seventeen years as a human was not long, but then again he was only nineteen when he was changed. It seemed almost tragic that they had not been given the opportunity to live their lives fully, but Evan knew that despite his first few years as a vampire being somewhat unscrupulous, he did love the life he lived now. When Addison began bragging about never touching a human's blood, Evan had to say that he was impressed. "Wow, sounds like your life has been fairly interesting up to this point," he said. "Now that you mention powers, I forgot to tell you mine. I'm an empath; nothing special or anything, but I can understand others' feelings if I touch them. Definitely not as cool as freezing time though."
He chuckled and shrugged his shoulders before taking another drink from his glass, finishing off his elk blood. His thoughts drifted to his fiancee for a few moments. It had been days since he had seen or spoken to Alice, so he knew that some alone time was going to be needed. But, he reverted his attention to the present and smiled again. "You think I'm interesting...you should meet some of my fiancee', Alice's family. They have powers like you wouldn't believe," he jokingly added. "Alice sees the future and her brother Edward reads minds. And a few others have some different powers that I don't remember exactly how they work, but they are far more interesting than my own."

Addison laughed when Evan said that her life had been fairly interesting. “Life is as interesting as you make it.” Evan then began talking about his own gift as an empath. Addison took a moment to mentally remind to add his gift to his profile. Evan then laughed and finished off his drink and seemed to be wrapped up in his own thoughts for a few moments. He then began discussing his fiancé and her gifts along with the gifts of her family. Addison tilted her head to the side as she realized that those names sounded familiar. “You mean the royal family? The Cullen family? You could introduce me to them? You would be my most favorite person in the world if you could do that!” Addison was practically bouncing in her seat that she could have a chance to meet the royal family. She could see the reality of her vampire library coming together. She would be eternally grateful to Evan if he could introduce her to Bella and Edward Cullen.

Laughing at Addison's sudden excitement over him knowing the royal family, Evan nodded in reply to her question. "Of course you can meet them," he said. "They are very open to meeting all sorts of other vampires. Well...just watch out for the blonde one...Rosalie. She has quite a temper sometimes." Evan chuckled, thinking about the family that was to become his own soon enough. They had taken him in as one of them when he returned from London with Alice. For the first time in his immortal existence, he felt like he belonged somewhere and was wanted. "Perhaps Bella and Edward can give you a little of their history, since it is the most fascinating of anyone's that I have ever met," he offered, before pausing and laughing at himself. "Then again...I have had very limited experience in this life."

Addison could not stop the store of dreams from building as Evan spoke. She had already heard some of the basics from other vampires. Addy had heard of Rosalie; Rosalie Hale to be exact and Addison was nervous about meeting her. From the stories that she had heard Rosalie was certainly not one to be trifled with. After that first doubt slipped into her mind so did a truck load of others, ‘What if they do not like me? What if they laugh me out of their house? What if they say no to my library? What would happen to all of my beautiful research? What if I am breaking some unknown vampire law?’ That last thought snapped Addison back into reality and she was able to mentally calm herself as she smiled at Evan. ‘All is right in the world you are not breaking laws, you are doing important research. They will approve your library, and my dreams will come true.’ Everything was going to work out just fine and Addison felt better now that she had her few moments of freaking out.
“You don’t have to worry about a thing Evan. All you have to do is say Bella, Edward, this is Addison Sheppard. I will take it from there I promise.” Addison held her hand up scout’s honor. She put her hand back to her glass after a few moments and finished off her drink. Addison pulled her bag into her lap and pulled out a white card with her name and cell phone on it. Addy held out the card to Evan, “Well I am sure you have family time to deal with instead of just barging into the house with me. If you could just call my cell whenever you get a chance; I would appreciate it so much Evan.”

Raine was getting mad, she had spoken directly to Evan and he had just kept talking to that lady all the time. And then they freaking mentioned the royal family. She grabbed Evans shoulders and turned him to face her. "You shouldnt make any promises, and where the heck have you been, You got a wedding to plan." Raine said and sighed. She then turned to the other vampire and offered her hand to shake. "My name is Raine Aurora, im a part of the Cullen family, and whom may you be?" Raine asked politely. She wanted to know why this vampire was so interested in the royal family, it was natural.

Before Evan was able to say anything another female vampire came from no where and turned Evan in his seat to face her. Addison patiently waited until the woman was done snapping at Evan before her eyebrow slid into a graceful arch, ‘What right does she have to snap at him? Since when could a man not introduce someone to his fiancé?’ Addison took the other vampire’s hand as she offered to shake while she introduced herself. Addison allowed her hand to drop to her side after she shook Raine’s hand once.
Raine had already started off on a bad foot with her, as Addy saw no reason to snapping at others for nothing. Addy remained calm trying to mentally give Raine another chance to prove she was not as rude as she first came off as. “My name is Addison Sheppard; vampire history collector.” Addison shot a glance to Evan before turning back to Raine with a grin, “I did not realize my interest in the royal family was out of place.” She could tell Raine had probably wanted a more detailed answer but for once in her life Addison was choosing to be difficult and wait until Raine asked her questions.

No sooner had Evan taken Addison's card from her hand than he was being spun around by some unknown force. However, he soon saw that it was Raine who had done the spinning and was now chewing him out. His face remained placid as Addison introduced herself first, but he soon enough got his chance to speak. "I was not aware that I could not talk about my fiancee' in public," he said amiably. "And second of all, who are you to tell me what I am supposed to be doing? For your information, I have just returned from something rather important to my wedding and last time I checked, the only person that should be concerned about what I am and am not doing for the wedding plans would be Alice, my fiancee'."
Evan then turned around to Addison again. "I apologize that our conversation seems to have been cut short, but I will definitely let the family know that you wish to meet them. I'm almost certain that they will be happy to oblige."

Raine sighed and shook her head. "Evan im not trying to be mean or snap at you, im stressed out and well, i need to talk to someone and there is no one else inhere that i know" Raine said and bowed her head. She really shouldnt have snapped at him like that. "Well, just so you know, im happy that you and Alice have each other, and i think im leaving, two weddings in one family in such short notice isnt good. I want to be married, ive waited 200 years for a man, and now i got him. Im stressed as hell and im sorry to have bothered you Evan." Raine said and turned to Addison. "Nice to meet you, a history collector? wow, thats exiting, i must read some of it when i can, and ill put in a good word for you to the family. Im sorry i may have seen bossy, ive been worrying and stressed alot lately, i tend to snap at everyone. Well, again im sorry" Raine said and walked over to her drink, standing on the bar. She sighed and thought to herself that things couldnt get worse.

Addison listened as Raine apologized to Evan for snapping on him. It sound like she was having a ruff time of life at the moment and Addison tried to mentally take it into calculation before speaking again. The drama that Evan had implied that had been going on with the Cullen family seemed to be worse then what he had suggested. Addison’s thoughts were confirmed as Raine spoke of leaving and wanting to be married. Raine then turned and apologized to Addison; Raine also mentioned that it was interesting that Addy collected history. “If the royal family approves my idea then hopefully you can read all of my work in a library.” Addison sighed and watched as Raine apologized one last time before going back to her drink she had abandoned to come speak with Evan and herself.
Addison sighed and hopped off of her seat. She pulled her mail carrier bag over her shoulder and turned to Evan with a small smile, “Well I ought to go otherwise I could cause more trouble then I am worth.” She laughed good naturedly and shook Evan’s hand and she pointed to her card as she backed away smiling, “Give me a call when you get the chance. Thanks again Evan.” Addison felt herself melt into the crowd as she went to look for another vampire to speak with.

Raine hoped for Addison that the Cullens would aprove her idea of a vampire library, it would be very interesting. Raine sighed, finished her drink and walked out of club valis. First outside she stopped, breathing in the night air. It was a nice chilly evening and she thought about walking home. She got an idea and decided to wait for Addison to come outside, hoping it would be soon. If she didnt have a place to stay she could stay at Raines house in the guest room. So Raine just stood there and waited patiently.

Addison was able to talk with a pair of vampires that had only been mates for the last decade. She also found an interesting male vampire that constantly spoke in the third person, and she would have to shoot herself if she ever forgot the name Kes. Kes was defiantly interesting and as he had grown up during the second Red Scare he was extremely paranoid of government and everything in general. Just to speak with him Addison had to promise that she was not secretly going to hunt him down later.
With a sigh Addison decided that it was time to wrap up for the night. She had collected information from a few vampires, and she had even set up the possibility of meeting the royal family. It was by far more then what she expected to accomplish in one evening, and it was also to Addison’s amazement what she would have to look forward to. She walked out of Club Valis with a different sort of excitement then what she had gone in with. She stopped a few feet from the doorway and slipped the notebooks that she had used into her mail carrier bag.

Raine had been standing outside for a while when she saw Addison come out. She saw her slip her note books in her bag and Raine walked over to her. "I was wondering if you had a place to stay, if not ill be glad if you want to stay at my house in Forks, its at Cullen grounds and i have a guest room you can stay in. And tomorrow ill introduce you to the Royal familly if you want to." Raine said and waited for Addison to respond. She really wanted Addison to stay at her house since Raine was lonely at the time since Arkan rarely was home.

Just as Addison put away her notebooks she looked up to see Raine. Raine then offered for Addison to come and stay with her. She told Addy how her home laid on the grounds that belonged to the Cullen family. Raine also offered to introduce her to the Cullen family. ‘Dang I think I need an update on how big the Cullen family actually is.’ Addison thought to herself. Addison thought for a moment about Raine’s offer. Addy acknowledged it was a kind offer but at the same time she was feeling extremely hesitant to take her offer.
Addison was a trusting vampire but she barely knew Raine, and Evan had already offered to introduce her to the Cullens. In that same breath however Addison did not want to be rude, and come across as snobby. “I appreciate the offer Raine, but I have to get back to were I left the rest of the profiles I have. I need to add Evan’s and the others to the collection.” Addison chuckled good naturedly, “Benefits of being a vampire I suppose; no rest really needed. Evan said that he could give me a call when I could come and me his fiancé and other members from the royal family.” Addison thought for a moment and realized something, “Hey would you mind being added to the future vampire library?”

Raine took Addisons polite no to stay with her. She accepted that she was gonna wait for Evan to talk to the family and she was trying to respect that, even tho he was the newest vampire to join the coven. Raine smiled to her when asking to add her to the history. "No not at all, im 216 years but i can quickly say how my life has been" Raine said and smiled. Raine knew she shouldnt had asked Addison to stay as her guest at her house, but Raine was taught to be polite to everyone she met. Raine had lived as a vampire allmost 200 years, and it had been long, but she had used her time somehow well. She waited for Addison to guide here somewhere where Raine could tell her, her story.
