Addison was ecstatic to have found Club Valis. For once she found a place that she would not need to be carded for. She remembered being surrounded by others in her human life and she loved to be social. As it was New York’s night life was unavailable to her until Addison’s family passed away. She sighed to herself it seemed extremely depressing to her that she was waiting for her parents to die just so that she could go home to New York. Addison had however found an exciting project to keep herself preoccupied to her knowledge no vampire history books had been established. What she had gathered so far from fellow vampires was absolutely astounding. She was collecting profiles of sorts of the other vampires that she had come across and keeping them in massive books.
Addison had slowly been making her way to Forks to speak with the royal family about establishing a library of sorts. Addison loved history and she hoped that she could show that to the family and use part of it to convince them that establishing a library would be amazing. Having that sort of collection, ‘Oh it would be so magical to have all of that history.’ With that thought thrumming in her head Addison practically danced into the bar without needing the music to inspire her. She wanted to take advantage of all of the vampires that would be collected in this vampire only bar.
Addison had to mentally calm herself down to a dull bouncing attitude and she giggled to herself as she saunter across the room to get to the bar. The bartender asked what she wanted, “Tiger blood please.” While the bartender got her drink Addison pulled out a notebook and a pen and wrote in her wispy writing ‘Seattle Vamps: Club Valis’. She tapped the pen on the notebook smiling at the thought of expanding her collection of vampires. Addison was intending on asking the bartender about his life as a vampire to add him to her history books. She figured that it would be fairly safe to ask considering they were in a public place and if he snapped at her, Addison would wave him off and speak with one of the other vampires in the club.

It had been a few days since Evan came home from Florida after what he called "The Hell Trip". Florida was officially one place he would never live because a) it was so humid that Evan could taste the air and b) too much sun for a vampire to ever be able to function. His ulterior motive had failed in bringing Jasper home, but at least he got to see that at least something was being done to help him out. In the back of his mind, he was still wondering about the doctors down there. The entire operation seemed sketchy to Evan, but that was probably just his paranoia kicking in that made him mistrust anyone that looked at him funny.
Needing to take a breather, Evan decided to hit up Club Valis to calm himself down before going to see the Cullens and specifically, his fiancee. He knew that Alice would probably not be happy that he had gone down to Florida to speak with Jasper, but Evan knew that she would get over it and forgive him. He walked into the club and sat down at the bar. "Just elk today George," he told the bartender. Sitting down, he saw another young woman sitting at the bar with a pen and notebook in her lap. He thanked George when his drink was brought and held the glass in his hand for a moment before taking a drink and setting it on the bar.

Addison looked around the bar with a grin, ‘Whoever started this club is a genius; I wonder if I could meet the person.’ She began twirling the pen around her fingers as she looked over the inhabitants of the club. It was amazing to her that so many could gather and be peaceful. The largest coven that she had seen was a group of four in Kentucky. Of course that record would be replaced once she met the royal family. The thought that they would tell her no crossed her mind for a moment but Addison was positive that they would be open the idea. At that point she saw the bartender coming towards her with her drink but as Addison noticed him she also saw another vampire that looked like he was watching her. ‘Seems friendly enough.’ Addison thought smiling at the vampire. The bartender gave Addison, her drink she nodded her head, “Thank you.” Addison hopped off of her barstool and walked down to where the other vampire was sitting. With a smile she set her drink on the counter along with her notebook and pen and she held out her hand, “Hi my name is Addison Sheppard.”

As Evan was drinking his elk blood, he wrapped himself in his thoughts. There was so much left to do before his wedding and so little time to do it in. Alice had taken on all of the planning herself, with the help of Bella of course. But, everyone was going to be busy with the new baby in the house as well. Renesmee and Jacob would be welcoming their little one anytime if they had not already. Evan was unsure since his trip had taken a little longer than he anticipated. As he was wrapped in thought, he did not see the other vampire get off her barstool and walk down to him. He did, however, hear her introduce herself as Addison Sheppard. Turning to her, he flashed a small smile and a nod. "I'm Evan Williams," he said politely. "It's a pleasure to meet you Addison."

‘Evan Williams, nice name.’ Addison grinned as she immediately picked up on his accent. The thought intrigued her because Addison had not left the United States and so she had no idea how far the vampire race was spread. It would give her something to do while she waited for New York City to clear out. ‘I would have to take all night flights.’ Before she became too wrapped up in her traveling plans Addison smiled at Evan, “Nice to meet you Evan.” Now that she was able to focus on what she was doing Addison grinned at what she was about to talk to Evan about.
She put on a friendly smile, “This is going to be pretty forward of me and I want to apologize in advance. I think of myself as a traveling historian for our race,” she nodded towards the other vampires in the bar, “I have been going around for the last couple of decades basically gathering profiles of our kind and turning them into books. I was wondering if you would like to be added to the collection.” Addison realized how odd that all sounded but she had faced far more disturbing vampires then this Evan seemed to be. If she could talk to that scared almost deformed two hundred Texas vampire, Addison could face just about anyone.

Evan smiled again at Addison as she explained what she was doing as a historian of sorts. That was something he had not heard of, at least not in his short life as a vampire, but he thought it sounded intriguing enough to listen. When she invited him to be a part of her research, he nodded. "Alright," he said, his British accent sticking out a little more purely from habit. "I don't mind at all. Knowledge is one of the most important things, in our race and among the humans, so I would be happy to oblige any questions you might have." He shifted so that he was facing Addison more so that his full attention was given to her out of his learned manners. During his human life, he was always taught to give a lady his full attention. Taking another drink of his elk blood, he put the glass down on the bar and looked at the pen and pad that Addison had in her lap. "So, what kind of information are you looking for?" he asked.

Addison feel herself perk up immediately and bounce slightly as Evan agreed to join her traveling library. She was always ecstatic to add others to her collection, and Addy felt exceptionally blessed that she was able to add someone that seemed to be unique. Evan turned to face her completely so that she knew that she would have his full attention. Addison grinned inside of her head and was pleased to see that he was respectful. Addison set her notebook ready to write down all of Evan’s answers. Out of pure habit Addison began twirling her pen as she began to speak to Evan, “Well just about everything you can remember. How old are you, were have you lived, what have you done in your life, anything you can remember from your human life, and anything interesting you can think of.” Addison thought about how much that would seem up front and she took a mental breath to relax her self, “It just depends on what you are willing to tell me about.” Addison flashed another friendly smile and prepared to write down anything that Evan would be willing to tell her.

Evan smiled as Addison just asked him a barage of questions. It was a good thing he was a vampire and had such a good memory, otherwise he would have forgotten everything after the first question. He settled onto his barstool in a more comfortable position and began, "Well, I was born and raised in London, England. I used to play rugby and was working on a scholarship for college when I was changed. I was attacked by what I thought were muggers, but they turned out to be vampires looking for a quick meal." He paused for a moment to recollect that part of his past. It had been awhile since he thought about that night, but he still had flickers of it playing through his head. "Just before I died, someone fended them off and saved me. I later learned it was my creator, Michael. He made me what I am now and took me under his wing, teaching me the lifestyle of a vampire. I have been in this life around seven years now, but only as a vegetarian the last few months." He paushed and laughed for a moment, "Am I going a bit too fast? I can go a little slower if you'd like."

Evan flashed a smiled as he settled into his seat. The way he settled into his seat Addison figured that it was a good thing that Evan was able to keep up with her excited and rapid speech. Addison wrote down everything that Evan told her with a clear smile on her face. It was moments like then that Addison knew she was doing what she loved, and she realized that she was going to get to do that until she decided enough was enough. As it was she loved history and she loved to learn about others and her grin grew as she thought, ‘It will be a cold day in hell before I get tired of this life.’
Addison looked up when Evan became silent but she saw the look on his face. She recognized it from many of the other vampires that she had spoken to, Evan was reflecting on an important event to any vampire’s life; their change. She patiently waited knowing that it was harder for some then others when it came to remembering the crossover. Addison sat poised ready to write down the rest of what Evan was saying she listened with rapt attention.
Evan went over he had been a vampire for seven years and how he had taken up a vegetarian lifestyle the last few months. Addison was curious about his desire to change diets and who had been helping him. It also intrigued Addy about his creator Michael and why they split apart. She looked up meaning to ask him more in depth questions when Evan asked, “Am I going a bit too fast? I can go a little slower if you’d like.” Addison smiled at the question and she looked up at him shaking her head.
“No of course not. I am understanding you clear as a bell and this is amazing. I have to say that I love the fact I have finally found a vampire younger then me.” Addison grinned a little and continued with a few questions she still had, “Do you remember anything else about your creator? Oh and what made you change your diet? If you had been living off of human blood what caused you to change after seven years?” Addison realized that she was being extremely forward with Evan and she was not exactly taking into account that he may not wish to answer.
He seemed polite and Evan could have been of the sort that said nothing for the benefit of others. Addison reflected on that for half a second before she spoke again, “Please keep in mind if I get too annoying just tell me. I promise you will not hurt my feelings if you tell me to relax or shut up.” Addison added a little laugh to try and emphasize that she was not trying to be to serious.

Evan laughed when Addison told him that he could tell her to shut up. "Of course you are not annoying," he reassured her. "Your questions are important to your research, so I don't mind answering them at all." He knew that Addison seemed to be the kind of girl that respected everyone's privacy and if they did not wish to answer certain questions, she would not press them. Of the many things Evan admired, he thought respect was among the most admirable qualities someone could have. "Michael was the sort of man that was like a father to me," he continued. "He took me under his wing as a son and I appreciated him for being there for me during those first few years. After about six years of travelling together throughout England, we parted ways so that he could go search for his mate that he had been separated from, leaving me to wander by myself. Around this time is when I began to question my lifestyle. Taking another human life to sustain my own disgusted me, so I became depressed." He paused for a moment, breathing deeply to give Addison a second to take in everything that he had just said. In that moment, he compared her to a sponge in his head, just absorbing all of this information. He chuckled mentally before continuing. "Well, after a year of wandering on my own...well, she walked into my life...my fiancee Alice. She befriended me and told me of her family here and the lifestyle they live as vegetarians. Thinking about that and having her support behind me, I decided to move and change my diet. We were only friends then, but after we came back and she found her husband had cheated on her...which is a long story...she divorced him and we ended up together. She is the reason I am who I am today as a man and a vampire." He paused again and allowed for Addison to ask anymore questions she might have and react to all that he had shared with her.

Addison was comforted by the face that Evan did not seemed to be too ruffled by her direct questioning. He also seemed honest enough and Addison appreciated that as she wrote down his explanations about his creator. She felt like her smile would never go away because she was enjoying life so much right then. It was also ironic to Addison and she had to laugh inside her head, because she was enjoying life so much when she did not have a heart beat. One of the things that she could not understand was what the pull to human blood was. Her own transformation had been the definition of mystery. She lived in New York city was knocked out, and came to in the country side and someone explained what she had been.
Addison had no idea who that person had been and she had run away as soon as she saw the opportunity because of what she had become. It had been a little more then twenty years that she had been living off of whatever animals that she could find. She was blessed in the face that she had never tasted human blood, and did not have to know the pain and guilt that Evan was obviously dealing with. Addison felt her smile growing as Evan spoke about his fiancé. It was clear how he spoke about her that Evan truly cared about her. That was something that Addy found most amazing, and it was her favorite to speak with mates. Just watching them interact and their history always seemed to have the most color.
One set of mates Addison had met when she was in St. Louis, Missouri. Daniel and Amy had been traveling and living together for almost two hundred years. As far as Addison could tell they were still acted like they were newly weds. It was just astounding to her that they had been together for so long and they still loved one another. Addison did not miss that Alice would be getting married for the second time, and that her first husband had cheated on her.
Addison chose not to ask about the details behind it because she could not see any good coming from that conversation. Addison finished writing down everything that Evan had told her and looked up with a smile, “I have to say that you have led an amazing life in just a few years.” Addison put her notebook and pen in her small backpack, that she constantly kept with her. Addison sighed, “Well I really appreciate your help Evan. If you could do me one more favor then you would be a great help.” Addison took a drink from her tiger’s blood while she mentally debated with herself if Evan would have a problem with having his picture taken.

Watching as Addison wrote down all he had said about Alice being the reason he was the man he was today, Evan was reminded of the first time he and Alice had admitted that they loved one another. It was a few weeks after they had come back to the States and she had decided to divorce Jasper. He remembered the first time they had kissed and he knew that it was real, not some stupid dream he had concocted. Alice was the first woman he had felt this way about, well after Emma. Emma had been his human girlfriend of two years when he was attacked and transformed into a vampire. She had to believe he was dead so that he would not hurt her. That was a huge sacrifice on his part. No one knew about her, not even Alice. Emma was a part of his past that was too painful to revisit.
His attention was snapped back when Addison made another request of him. He took a quick drink of his elk's blood before looking at her once more. "Of course," he replied. "Anything to help a fellow vampire and friend." His British accent was still thick and plainly obvious, but it never bothered him much. It was part of his heritage and he was proud of that fact.

Addison grinned as Evan agreed to help her anyway that he could. He also called her a friend which relifed her in the sense that it would give her another connection in the states. Addison pulled her Polaroid camera and set it on the counter top and took a sip of her drink. “I like to try and take pictures of the vampires that I interview to go along with the profiles.” Addison picked up her camera and held it up ready to take Evan’s picture, “Say cheese.” Evan grinned at the camera and with a smile Addison took his picture. Addison took the picture in her hand and began shaking it rapidly. After a few seconds of shaking the film Addy held up the picture for Evan to see. “Quite charming if you ask me.”

Nodding as Addison took out her camera, Evan knew what was coming. Cameras were a thing he enjoyed when he was human. Taking pictures was somewhat of a passion for him, outside of athletics and competetiveness. It was something he had all but forgotten about when he was transformed as a vampire. After Addison had taken his picture, he looked at it and laughed. "And here I thought the rumors were true that vampires could not be seen in photographs," he joked as he looked down at the picture that she had just taken of him. Of course, he had already tested that theory when he took a picture of Alice when they had been in London together, but it was still fun to tease about it.
Taking another drink from his glass, he turned his attention on Addison and smiled. "So, you know almost everything about me...but I feel like I know nothing about you," he casually said. "Tell me, where are you from and how did you come to exist in this life?" Evan was genuinely curious as he had met few of his own kind since his transformation and even fewer that were half as interesting as the young woman before him.

Raine entered club valis. She needed to get away from the house and the family. When she entered the club she saw Evan talking to a woman, and it wasnt Alice. She walked over to him. "Hey Evan, hows the wedding planning going? i havent planned anything yet at all about me and Arkans wedding." Raine said and waved for the bartender. Having the blood ready here and bottled was making her lazy, she hadnt really been hunting lately, or been drinking at the club for that matter. Her eyes were completely black. When the bartender came over she ordered, "The usual cougar blood, unless you have gotten the lynx blood yet" She said and waited. When he told her the lynx blood had just arrived she took a glass of that. She sipped on it and waited for Evan to reply to her question.
