Chasing Alexandria down.[Jasper/Lexie/Rosie/Eddie]

[Rosalie Hale]

It had been a week since Rose and Jasper left home. They started in San Fransico, where Rose left off and followed Lexie's scent all over the state. They were moving up and down the coast. She would not stay to long in one place. It seemed like she kept going north just to turn around and head south again. Rose was getting tired of the back and forth tracking.

They were in the forest just outside of Los Angeles for the third time, when Rose knew that she needed to hunt before they entered the city. Rose knew that she could not be thirsty and be close to humans. It was to much of a temptation, even if she had never killed anyone, well not from her thirst anyway. Rose had killed seven men, but she had not spilled their blood. She knew now that she would not spill Lexie's blood either. Rose would not lower herself to drink from her.

After Rose finished with a couple of small deer, she was ready to go again. She and Jasper ran to San Francisco following the trail. They stopped there as the scent was fresh and recent. She knew that they were getting close to finding her. Rose was going to call back to the mansion to check in but she was to hyper. She broke the phone. "Well damn, there went another phone." She said as she looked at the pieces in her hand. "I will have to go home and get another one, I will check in while I am there." She said to her twin. "You stay here and I will be back in a couple of hours." She said to him as she hugged him. She hated the idea of leaving him, but she knew that she had to.

Rose ran at top speed back to the house to check in and retrieve a new phone. When she arrived she found a new visitor at the house with Edward and Bella. She realized that this girl had visions like Alice and that she had seen something. When Rose found out what it was she left to return to her brother as once.

When she returned to Jasper, she could not contain herself. She was talking at full speed, glad that they were vampires and that Jasper could keep up with her. "I was at the house and there was this girl there, she is like Alice and sees things. She saw the twins in a room in Baja. They were scared, and frightened." Rose said to her brother as she grabbed his hand.

Lexie was tired and knew that she needed sleep. She had been moving the kids all over the west coast as she ran from the Cullen family. She knew that she could not stop for long or they would catch up to her. She was not going to let them take her children. Rosie and Eddie were hers and she would never let them be raised by the vampire family of their father. She would make sure that they never used their powers either. Lexie would keep them so scared of her that they would be to afraid to try anything with her. She knew that Jasper did not care about them and as long as he was away from the rest of the Cullen's, he would not come after her.

She had been driving all night and with the sun coming up, she knew that she was safe to stop of the day. None of the vampires would come out in the sun, she could stop and sleep while the sun was up. She knew that she would have to deal with the children though. She could not leave then unguarded. They had already tried to call the Cullen's and run away. She would never let that happen again.

When they reached the old warehouse in Baja, she knew that was where they would stay. It was a place that had belonged to her parents and she knew it well. She pulled into the warehouse and closed the door behind her. "Get out of the car and come with me." she said to them as she grabbed them and pulled them after her. She took them to an old walk in freezer that did not work anymore. She put them in it and locked the door. She then went into the old office to lay down on the sofa that was there and sleep.

[Jasper Hale]

Jasper had never felt so free in his life, excluding the night he and Alice had met. He was running with his twin and they were on their way to save his children; which had taken them a week to get to the point that they were at. Jasper had been driven to the brink of insanity the past week because of all of the back tracking. Currently they were in a forest outside of Los Angeles for about the third time Rosalie and Jasper had stopped with the intention of eating before going into the city. Right then Jasper was on edge partially because of Rosalie’s emotions, but a greater part due to his own anxiousness to find his son and daughter. By the time that Rosalie had taken her fill of two deer they both seemed to come to the realization that they were getting close to Lexie. Jasper was too intent on finding his children and he was ready to skip his pre-city meal when Rosalie pulled out her cell phone to check in back at home.

Home. That was a novel concept to Jasper finally getting to call somewhere home and once he had his children back he would be able to piece the rest of his family together. Jasper was starting to get so wrapped up in his thoughts he almost missed that Rosalie had obliterated her phone in excitement. It was not exactly something to laugh at but the pressure had built up and a snort of laughter escaped as Jasper saw the left overs of the phone. Jasper grinned at his twin as she stated that she would have to go back and get another cell phone to use, while checking in. He nodded to her in understanding when Rosalie said she would have to leave. With the promise of being back in a couple of hours Rosalie left. Jasper missed his twin immediately and his frustration and hunger was taken out on several forest creatures. Rosalie returned just as she had promised with her new phone but what had Jasper more interested was the other vampire that Rose had met. Apparently she had visions just like his ex-wife did and the woman had seen his children. If this vampire’s visions were anything like Alice’s then they did not lie and his children were being held hostage by their own mother.

Jasper snarled and squeezed Rosalie’s hand that she had slid into his. “Rose we have to find them now.” He took a deep breath and found the fading scent of Lexie and his children the vision seemed to be right. Jasper pulled impatiently on his sisters hand as he took off running towards Baja. ‘If one hair is out of place on their head I will kill her myself. Weakness be damned.’

[Rosalie Hale]

Rose felt her twin pull on her hand that he was holding as he spoke to her and started to run again. She knew that he was anxious to find them. She was just as anxious after the vision that Meredith had. "We will find them now, Jazz. We know were they are, and Baja is not that big of a city." Rose said to him as they ran south and across the Mexico line. She was following the scent from the highway. Rose knew that they were closing in on her and the kids.

Rose slowed to a walk as they entered Baja, she needed to talk to her brother before they found Lexie. "Jazz, I need to know before we find her, how you want this to go down. I can take her out, if you are not sure about controlling yourself." She said to him as she looked into her brothers eyes.

[Jasper Hale]

Jasper nodded to Rosalie as she once again promised that they would be found. She also commented that Baja was not very large and that was something Jasper was extremely grateful for. He nodded once again to his twin in understanding, and for what felt the millionth time that day he sent out mental thanks that Rosalie was there to help him. They were on a strong trail of Lexie which meant that the woman back in Forks was right with her visions. The pair naturally slowed into a walk as they reached the outside of the city. It was then Rosalie asked a question that Jasper had been expecting. Jasper smirked towards his sister which was probably inappropriate but at that point he did not care, “I don’t really need to control myself do I?” Jasper thought to himself for a moment and realized that he was not a creature of pity but Jasper nodded to his sister, “As soon as I take my children out of the room that Lexie has them and we are out of hearing distance you can do whatever you would like Rose.”

[Rosalie Hale]

Rose listened as her brother talked and she laughed in her wind chime laughter when he talked of control. It was true that he did not have to control himself, but she was sure that Jasper did not want to drink Lexie's blood any more than she did. She would wait for Jasper to get the kids away and she would break Lexie's neck and leave her there in that place. "Jasper, when we get there, I want you to get the kids and leave. Head back to the family with out me. I will catch up when I am done, but I don't want you to stop until you reach forks and you know that you and the kids are safe." She said seriously to her twin. Rose was not planning on made Lexie's death quick or easy. She did not want Jasper around to see her like that. Rose was going to do to Lexie what she did to Royce all those years ago.

Rose was glad that she could do multiple things at one time. That was the advantage of being a vampire, use of more of the brain than humans. Rose was talking to Jasper, but she was still tracking Lexie's scent. She was waiting on a conformation from her twin, when she looked up and saw the sign in Spanish. She knew that they were there. "This is it Jasper. I can smell the twins. They are on the first floor. Go get them and leave. I will catch up with you soon. Jasper, don't stop running until you hit Forks. Please promise me that." She said in a grim voice to her twin. She knew what she was fixing to do and she did not want Jasper or the twins any where around for it.

[Jasper Hale]

Jasper listened as they continued on their run, Rosalie was telling Jasper what she wanted him to do. He could guess fairly certainly what Rosalie was going to do to Lexie. Jasper however was past the point of caring his captors in Florida had been lucky that Alice was there to stop him. He had been more than willing to kill them just as Rosalie was willing to kill Lexi, the difference now being no one would stop Rosalie. If he had been one of the other members of the family they would have more then likely begged Rose to spare Lexie; Jasper was not know for his compassion and forgiveness. Jasper nodded again to his sister, “Alright Rose.” After all too long Rosalie spoke the magic words that Jasper knew; they were closing in on his children.

Jasper squeezed Rosalie’s hand before finally releasing it. He held one finger up to his lips meaning that they should be quiet as possible until he had gotten the kids away. Jasper quietly opened the front door and slid inside taking a deep breath his eyes zeroed in on a door across the room. It looked like it was a broken down freezer and in a flash Jasper ripped the door open. He had to bite back the snarl at what Lexie had done to the children. Instead of focusing on the horror of the situation Jasper scooped both of his children into his arms for a quick hug before darting out of the warehouse. He made a bee line for Forks knowing that Rosalie would be more then qualified to handle Lexie.

[Rosalie Hale]

Rose entered the warehouse just behind her brother. She watched as Jasper opened the freezer and took the kids. Rose knew that it was time for her to get down to business. Jasper was gone and she was alone with Lexie, she sniff the air and followed the scent to the room where Lexie was asleep. Rose knew that it would be easy to kill her in her sleep, but she wanted Lexie to know what happened.

Carefully Rose crossed the room the cough. Rose stared at her for a brief moment and all the thoughts of the things that Lexie had done, ran through Rose's mind. Rose was seeing red when she reached down and grabbed Lexie by the hair. Rose was going to make sure that Lexie suffered before she died. Rose also knew that she could not spill Lexie's blood so she would have to be careful. Rose pulled Lexie from the couch by her hair and drug her to the freezer that she had took the kids in. Rose through Lexie against the back wall. She heard the crack of bones with Lexie hit the wall and fell to the floor. Rose closed the door then and make sure that Lexie could not get out.

Lexie was deep asleep on the couch when she felt herself being pulled from the couch by her hair. She knew that she had been found, but she was not sure of who it was that found her. She hoped that it was Jasper, because she knew that she could get away from him. She opened her eyes and looked up to see long blonde hair on the back of the one that was dragging her. Lexie knew instantly that it was Rosalie, Jasper's twin. She should have expected this from her. Lexie started to kick and scream as she stuggled to get away from Rose. "Let me go, you stupid b***h." She sceamed up at Rose, as she was thrown through the air. Lexie felt her ribs crack and possible brake as she hit a wall. It was not until she hit the floor that she relized that she was in the freezer that she had left the children in.

She got to her feet and was in lots of pain, but she ran for the door never the less. She reached the door about the time that Rose closed it. Lexie started beating on the door and screaming again. "Let me out of here. Where are my children? Let me go you stupid f***ing bloodsucker." Lexie looked around the freezer and knew that she was dead, as soon as Rose decided that she was tired of this game. She felt the pain in her ribs and knew that she was bleeding internally and that she would be dead soon anyway.

[Rosalie Hale]

Rose was intent on torturing Lexie, but she was not one for controlling herself with out Jasper around to help her. Rose was thinking about everything that happened to the family after Lexie came and that made Rose's blood boil. She knew that Lexie was the cause of all the problems. Rose stood against the door and listened to Lexie's ranting. Rose could do this for days, but she did not want to be gone that long. She wanted to be on her way to catch up with her twin and return home.

As night fell, Rose knew that Lexie would be weak from the injury to her ribs and that she would be dead soon anyway. Rose opened the door to the freezer and walked inside. She looked as Lexie and smiled. "You have reached the end of your short life, I will be the one to end you. You messed with the wrong family when you set your sights on my brother." Rose said to her as she stared down at Lexie in the corner.

Rose want to end it now but she wanted Lexie to beg for her left. Rose was truely the old Rose again and vengeance was hers. She felt herself changing again and knew that the peace and calm that she felt before would be gone the moment she took another human life. Rose had not killed any human, since Royce. She had only killed him and his friends for what they did to her. Now she was going to kill this girl for what she did to Rose's family. Rose knew that she could be a self-centered b***h, but when it came to her family, then she would do whatever she had to in order to protect that family. Rose was just standing there staring at Lexie, trying to decide how to proceed. Should she just kill her and get it over with or should she torture her more? Rose was undecided.

Lexie watched as Rose opened the door to the freezer. Lexie was not sure how much time had passed but she knew that it had been a long time. Lexie heard Rose talk about Jasper and Lexie knew that if Rose zoned out she might have a chance to excape. The longer the Rose talked the more distracted she would become. Lexie had been aroun the vampires long enough to figure out that they get distracted easily. Lexie jwas just waiting when she saw Rose freeze. She knew that was her chance. Slowly, Lexie stood up and moved toward the freezer door. She glanced back at Rose and she was still frozen. Lexie make it to the door and closed the door, thinking that would contain Rose. Lexie could not move fast with the broken ribs, but she was trying to get to the car. She knew that Jasper would take the children back to Forks. She would find them there and get her kids back.

[Rosalie Hale]

Rose was lost in her thoughts until she heard the door to the freezer close. That woke Rose up and she was pissed that she had zones out enough for Lexie to try to escape. Rose flew to the door and with one push, throw the door across the warehouse. She moved in blur as she grabbed Lexie by the back of the shirt and throw her across the room and into a wall. There was nothing the Lexie could do at this point. Rose was not going to let her live after the last six months of hell for the family. Rose moved in her flittering manner and was standing in front of Lexie when she hit the floor of the warehouse with a loud smack. "I know you did not think that you could escape me that easily." Rose said in a very condescending voice.

Lexie was almost to her car when she felt the sudden pull on her shirt and felt herself flying through the air and into a wall about fifteen feet in the air. When Lexie hit the ground she knew that her back was broke, she could not feel her legs, which meant that she could no longer run from Rosalie. Lexie knew that she only chance to survive was to tell the truth. Rosalie would know if she was lying, most vampires where great at reading humans. "No Rosalie, I knew that I would not be able to escape, but I had to try. I know that you are going to kill me no matter what I say, so I might as well tell you the truth before I die. At least I will die with a clean conscience." Lexie stopped and took a ragged breath. She could fell the rib in her lung and knew that she would not live much longer. She spoke quickly to Rosalie, hoping that she would believe her. "Jasper is not Rosie and Eddie's father. I never slept with Jasper. I staged it all. I knew that Jasper could not use his powers on me. I already knew what your family was. That night I did go to the bar, but I was not drunk. I had been going to the bar almost every night for two weeks. I did sleep with a vampire but it was not that night, but I do not know who is was, just some stranger that was at the bar." Lexie had to stop and take another ragged breath. She knew that her death was close now. "I had a plan all long to get Jasper. I knew from the moment that I saw him what I was going to do. I got the idea from seeing Bella and Nessie. So I did sleep with a vampire to get pregnant, but it was not Jasper. When I came to the house that night, I already knew that I was pregnant. So when Jasper tried to calm me down, I let him. When he black out, I stage the room to look like we slept together. Then I created the memories in my mind that Edward would believe. I thought only that Jasper was the father. I knew that Edward would believe my thoughts, because your family that that I did not know what you were." Lexie was out of breath and the pain was to much to bare. "I have one last request, take care of the kids." Lexie said and then she fell silent. Lexie knew that whether Rose finished or not she was dead.

[Rosalie Hale]

Rose closing in to snap Lexie' neck when Lexie started talking and Rose froze in place. Rose heard the words, "Jasper is not the father" Rose's mind went crazy, Jasper is innocent. My family was ripped apart over some game that this child was playing. Rose was lost as the words came from Lexie's mouth. She hated this girl even more now that she was dying. Rose did not know how she was going to tell the family this truth, but Rose knew without a doubt that Lexie was telling the truth.

When Lexie told her everything about the plan, Rose was furious. "You destroyed my family, over your own infatuation with my brother!" Yelled at her. Rose knew that this was going to be the last thing that Lexie ever heard as and Rose bent down to whisper in Lexie's ear, she saw Lexie's eyes get wide. Rose knew that Lexie thought that Rose was going to bite her. "I hope that you are happy in Hell because that is where you are going, you little conniving b***h." Rose whispered as she put her hands and either side of Lexie's head and twisted her neck. Rose stood and watched as the last of the life drained from Lexie's body.

Rose turned on her heels and ran from the warehouse. She was on her way back to Forks, when she pulled out her phone and texted her brother. She knew that he should be almost back to Forks, if not there already.

"It is done, my twin. I need to talk to you immediately though. Meet me at our spot on the river. I will be there in about three hours, give or take."

Rose knew that signing her full name would mean something to Jasper. She knew that he was still using his given name, but she was not pushing that right now. She needed to talk to him and to tell him everything. She needed to be with her twin. Rose ran as fast as she could and she wished that she was as fast as Edward. Rose knew that her family would be looking for any change in her eyes when she returned and she knew that they would not find any change. Rose was to much like their father for that.
