Description: Leah Clearwater is described as one of the most beautiful Quileute girls in the entire tribe. She is slender with naturally tan skin, dark sleek hair that falls past her shoulders and to the middle of her back. As a wolf, she is much smaller than the others in the tribe and has gray fur.

Background/History: Leah Clearwater was born to her parents Harry and Sue Clearwater in the small village of La Push in Washington. She grew up in La Push, along with her younger brother Seth. Throughout her teen years, she dated Sam Uley and loved him dearly. He returned her love until he phased and imprinted on her cousin, Emily. From then on, Leah remained heartbroken and cynical about life in general, shunning most everyone around her.
Sometime around the age of eighteen, Leah's father passed away very suddenly from an unexpected heart-attack. This pushed both herself and her brother into phasing for the first time into a wolf. This was not something that Leah wanted, so she made the others in the pack suffer with her thoughts and continued heartbreak over Sam.
Later, after Jacob split off and formed his own pack, Leah joined him to avoid being around Sam. Through these actions, she became a much happier person and even formed a solid friendship with Jacob, becoming his beta wolf. After the huge fight with the Volturri, Leah went back to just being a wolf. She still kept her friendship with Jacob and even her place among the pack as second in command.
Personality: Leah was once described as bitter and cynical because of her inability to understand how Sam could hurt her as he did. However, after splitting from the main pack and joining Jacob's, Leah became a much happier person. She does not cause as much trouble, although she still does have a mind of her own and stands up for what she believes in. Leah is persistent and at times, very stubborn.
