Bella had been outside with Alice when Edward came outside. She had not even realized that Renesmee had come into the house. When Edward said that she was upset, Bella knew immediately that she had been told what was going on. Her first thoughts were of the baby and Renesmee's health. Her ears suddenly were in tuned and she heard her daughter's cries, muffled by someone's shoulder. Turning toward Alice, she took her sister's hand. "We will deal with this, but we need to go to Nessie now. She needs us both," she said softly.

Alice looked at Bella and shook her head 'yes' and took Bellas hand and went inside the house. She saw Nessie standing there and went up to her. "Calm down Nes." She said putting her arm around her. "It's going to be okay, just don't think about it." Alice took Nessie over to the couch to sit down. "Please just calm down for the baby." whispered in her nieces ear. Alice hadn't looked at anyone else in her family as she came in, she just went straight to Nessie.

Renesmee went to Alice's arms and buried her head in her shoulder, sobbing a little softer. Knowing her mom and both of her aunts were there helped calm her down a little. She knew that Jacob was in the kitchen, trying not to phase out of anger because of her and the baby. Breathing slowly, she was able to calm herself down enough to stop sobbing. "Aunt Alice," she whispered. "Why would he do such a thing to his family?" Renesmee knew that the question was pointless, but she felt she had to ask it. Placing her hand on her stomach, she felt the baby still kicking rapidly as if it felt the tension in the room even if she was calmer.
Once she was completely calm, she looked at Alice and asked, "Can you get the baby to calm down too? It's still kicking so fast and I think that it's scared. The baby likes your voice."

Bella walked in behind Alice and watched as Alice comforted her daughter, trying to keep her calm for the baby's sake. Walking over she kissed her daughter's forehead gently, trying to think of what to say to possibly calm her down, but nothing came to mind. Instead, she thought of something else. Softly, she began to hum her daughter's lullaby. It was one that Edward had written for her when she was a baby and she knew it would help keep Renesmee calm. She hummed the notes quietly enough for Renesmee to hear and know what it was. Bella hoped it would help her daughter stay calm enough for her health and the baby's.

ALice leaned down to Nessies belly and started to run it. "Shhhh...Calm down little one. Everyone will be okay. Shhhh." Alice said in a loving voice to the baby kicking in Nessie's belly. She then looked up at Nessie. "Your uncle Jasper has some things he needs to work out. Don't you worry at all about him. You just worry about this baby and Jacob. Okay?" She said putting her hand on her nieces face and looking up into her eyes.t

Renesmee heard her mother humming her lullaby and watched Alice talking to the baby inside of her. Hearing Alice's voice, the baby stopped kicking so rapidly and began to settle down. Breathing a sigh of relief, she put her hand on Alice's as she placed her hand on the side of her face. "Okay," she agreed in a small voice, nodding her head. "For the baby." She looked at her aunt for a few moments before hugging her tightly. Everything in their lives had fallen apart and back together again, just to be pulled apart once more by Jasper leaving. She continued to keep breathing slowly to keep herself calm for the baby.
Letting go of Alice, she whispered, "You know, Jake and I have decided that we want you to be the baby's godmother once it's born." That was something she had decided the day she first told Jacob she was pregnant. They had talked about it and agreed since Alice had been there for Renesmee when she had been scared about being pregnant in the first place. From the very beginning, Alice had been connected to the baby.

Esme fallowed Jacob in the kitchen, she wanted to make sure he was calming down for Nessie sake, she knew even though he was mad she could tell he was worried about his wife. Esme walked up near Jacob and spoke quietly in a mother tone she wanted him to be able to return to the living room Just in case he was need. " Jacob, I know you are upset with Jasper but I think it would be best for you to return to the living room once you think you have calmed down. You are a member of this family Jacob and not just Renesmee need your support but that baby inside her does not need you getting mad and running off." Esme was behaving motherly to Jacob, though he was married to her granddaughter he though of him more like a son.
" We are all upset about what happen at the moment. Jacob once your calm place return to the living room Nessie has just told Alice that you both want the to be the baby's god mother." With that Esme walked out of the kitchen and returned to the living room with a neutral look on her face, she one again to her place beside Carlisle.

Carlisle could only find himself outside, staring off in the distance. One of his family had left, so much had happened, with all the circumstances, that finally seemed to drive a wedge in the family and cause Jasper to up and leave the household. He didn't know if he would ever return, but he knew he could never force his hand, only Jasper could decide if he wanted to come back. Carlisle could only stand still and look out into the woods, hoping his son would be fine and find whatever it was he was in search for. He came to the conclusion that something we never do figure ourselves out and have to dig deeper, even if that means cutting all ties with those we love. Carlisle did what he could to be strong, though he did not know what he could say, he couldn't even face his wife Esme.

Edward stood close to the back of the couch in the living room, watching his family. He knew that he should try to find Jasper, even if he did not want to be found. Jasper was his brother and Edward knew that the family needed him. Edward was not sure were to even start looking though. He thought about finding Maria but was not sure if Jasper would return to her. Edward decided that he would talk to a few friends that he had and see what they could find out for him.
Edward walked around the couch and whisper to Bella, where only she could hear him. "Do you think that I should try to find Jasper?" He would not make a move to find his brother without talking to Bella about it.

Jacob sat in the kitchen a few moments longer, repeating Esme's words in his head, Renesmee and the baby, Renesmee and the baby, Renesmee and the baby . As soon as he thought he had returned himself to his regular composure, Jacob got out of the chair he placed himself in and walked back into the living room. He then looked around at everyone. quickly. The last person his eyes fell upon was Renesmee and he looked at her apologetically not saying a word. He know he could be able to control his anger better epically after 30 years of trying but there are still thinking that made him angry and seeing Nessie upset was one of them.
He force a smile so he was not looking angry at himself for his outburst then looked at Renesmee. "Are you and the baby okay ?"

Renesmee watched as her family gathered protectively around her, but held tight to Alice. So long as Alice was near, the baby was calm and only kicked every once in a while instead of contantly. Her eyes drifted to her husband as he came into the room. She could tell he was having a hard time keeping himself calm because of what Jasper did. Letting go of Alice, she got up and walked over to her husband and took his hand, placing it on her stomach where their baby was. "The baby and I are fine," she said softly, placing one of her hands on the side of his face. "We are going to be just fine." Renesmee knew that this would help Jacob calm down because he cared about her and the baby so much.
