Jasper was pleased when he found no one home at the mansion as he snuck back into Forks late one night. He wondered where everyone was. Honestly, though, he didn't care. It would be better off for everyone if he just left.
With him, he carried two notes. One for the family he'd always known and one for Alice. It addressed that he was disappearing and to not come looking for him.
The note to the family, which he laid on the dinning room table, was address:
For the Family
And read:
Carlisle, Esme, Edward, Bella, Rosalie, Emmett, Renesmee and Jacob,
This is harder for me than you can imagine, given the last few months. But I've made the decision to leave for good. I'm disappearing from this place called "home". Really, I left a long time ago, but now I'm leaving for good. Alexandra and the kids know, but they don't know where I'm going either. The truth is, I have nothing to live for, not even Rosie and Eddie. So, don't come looking for me. There's only one person I want coming, but I know she'll never come, so this is the last you'll hear from me. I love you all, but this is what's best for all of us.

P.S. I've changed my last name back to Whitlock. It's nothing personal. I just can't carry the name Hale with me anymore. It holds too many painful memories.

Alice [/size] Was sat on the counter in the kitchen. It read: I'm hoping you haven't ripped this us yet, as I know you want nothing to do with me. But the truth is, I'm living in a state of guilt. I still love you. So much. But you're not happy with me anymore. So this is my final goodbye.
I honestly hope that everything I've done--good or bad--had brought you full circle to where you are now. I know I will never feel complete again without you, but you don't care about that and I know it.

Rose had been in the woods wondering around and thinking about everything that had happened to her family. Rose was lost without Jasper to talk to. She finally decided to go home and see if Emmett was home. Rose walked into the house and instantly knew by the smell that Jasper had been home. A smile lit up her face for the first time in weeks. Rose went to his room to look for him. "Jasper" She called as she flew up the stairs. As she reached the top of the stairs she realized that his scent was not there. She went back down the stairs and followed his scent to the dinning room table, where she found the letter that was addressed to the family in Jasper's script. Rose lifted the letter and read it. Her smile faded and her screamed. Rosalie picked up the vase that was on the table and throw it across the room. It shattered against the wall but she still did not feel better. Rose pulled out her phone and sent a text to the family.
Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, Edward, Bella, Nessie, Jake, and Alice, you are all needed at the house immediately.

Rose then laid the letter back on the table and not wanting to break anymore of her mothers stuff she went out side and started beating up on the trees in the side yard.

Emmett took his jeep out for a ride, just for the heck of it. He haven't seen Jasper around the mansion, not that he would come back and visit his family but he was hoping for visits from him atleast once a week or two. He was the second brother after Edward that he could fool around with and just be themselves. So he thought he would pay him a visit, without telling Rosalie, which in his case was wrong but he needed to talk to Jasper alone without Rosalie interferring or the whole family. When he got to Jasper's condo, he smelled that he wasn't there, meaning that he went to the mansion or was with one of his kids. It would have been great to see Jasper and his kids along with Alice together once again---it was just a wish that would never happen.
When he took his phone out, he was on his way back to his jeep and text Jasper on where he was when he got a text from Rosalie. Emmett didn't need to see Rosalie's face when she texted everyone, he could see her eyes getting little black with anger in them, her voice not her normal angelic voice, but with anger in them---she was almost his old Rosalie. Quickly, he got into his jeep, and drove out of Seattle, going fast as he can. He was fury with what Rosalie said on the text, he didn't need Alice, Edward or Jasper on this along with anyone, he just needed to see Rosalie before she makes the whole house upside down. Before anyone else comes back to the mansion, he had something important to do before anyone sees Rosalie. That was comforting her, calming her down, and hopefully stop her before she destorys anything that comes in her hands. Emmett had seen Rosalie break things, and it wasn't pretty at all.
Less than twenty minutes, he reached the Cullen mansion. As he was heading to park his jeep in the garage he caught one familiar scent. Jasper. He smiled on what he smelled but before he could get any happier, he saw Rosalie beating trees. Emmett pressed on the brake, turned off the engine and within seconds he had Rosalie in his arms. It wasn't like his "new" Rosalie at all--more like old Rosalie. He hate to see Rosalie like this--torn--and he was the only one to fix everything with Rosalie. Emmett was glad that no one was home and hadn't seen what Rosalie did to the tree or whatever she broke inside the mansion. More over their son, who was out of the mansion when drama comes along. "Rosalie?" He whispered in her ear as he held her close to his chest. "What happened? Tell me everything here. It's going to be okay soon, I promise." His tone was worried as he took in Rosalie's scent.

Rose was furious with her brother and was taking it out on the tree's since she couldn't take it out on him. How could he do this, after he promised her that he wouldn't abandon her. She was in a frenzy and didn't even hear Emmett pull up. She felt his arms around her and surrendered to him. "He left." Was all that she would say. She collapsed into Emmett and let him support her. She was crushed that her twin had turned his back on her after she had stood with him against everyone that she loved.

Whatever it was that made Rosalie furious, he wouldn't let that person get away with it. Everyone that was there over the years, knew that it was hard for Rosalie to change the way she was. More importantly he was happy with Rosalie had did to herself. As Emmett waited for Rosalie's reply, he looked at the trees that she had beaten up and shook his head lightly. He stroked Rosalie's hair as she said couple of words. Those were words that he wasn't looking for nor wanted to hear from her or anyone else. He wasn't very happy about it, but he wasn't going to let his anger come over him. He had things to take care that were more important than his anger or beating something him. To him, Rosalie had beaten things up for him as well.
"I know and I'm sorry about that. What else did he say?" Emmett wanted to get everything, every detail of it from Rosalie. "May I ask what those trees did to you? And that you also took my anger out for me too. Never to that to me again, you hear me? You scared me like that." He said softly then chuckled. Rosalie was strong girl who knows what to do and seeing her like that, made him even worse. Because he hadn't seen her like that in long time.

Rose could hear the anger in Emmett voice, but she could not tell him. "He left a note in the house." She said. He could read it for himself. She was calming down in her husbands arms and the hurt was over taking the anger. When Emmett made a comment about the trees, she just smiled weakly at him. Rose knew that this was a display of the old Rose, but damned she was hurting and anger at the world at that moment. "Thank you for coming home to me." She whispered as she cuddled closer to him. She needed Emmett's strength right now.

Emmett didn't care on how angry he was, he could deal with it later as of right now he needed to be Rosalie. It's been awhile since they had a vacation away from Forks, and the drama itself. But it wasn't the right time. He could hear the smile in Rosalie's voice when she talked. Emmett was glad about that, no matter what happens, he's always there for Rosalie and ready to comfort her. "Rose, promise me that you won't do it again. Especially not in front of the family and Maden." Knowing that Maden was still little shaky about the whole situation in the family, he was worried that he might end up doing something that he'll regret. "I'm always here for you babe." Using his hand, he tilted Rosalie's head a little and kissed her lightly.

Bella had spent the majority of one afternoon moving things around in the cottage. Since Renesmee no longer lived there, she decided it was time to start preparing for the next generation of Cullens to come into the world. She had taken down Renesmee's bed and stored it, along with some of her childhood things. In their place, she put a new crib for the little one that would soon be arriving in just a few months. Bella knew that her daughter would need some help after the birth and having a place ready to lay the newborn to sleep was something they would need. It was almost surreal to be preparing for a grandchild when most people who had lived as long as she had were barely sending their kids off to college.
Once she finished putting up the crib, she tied in the liners and put the sheets and baby quilt inside. All of it was matching old-school Winnie-the-Pooh since they did not know the sex of the baby for sure. It was a cute room for sure and Bella could not wait to bring the baby there.
Just as she finished, she received a text from Rosalie saying that everyone was needed at the mansion. She immediately left the cottage and went up to the mansion, walking inside to find shattered glass from a broken vase. Obviously something was wrong with Rosalie. A second assessment of the situation told her the reason; she caught Jasper's scent in the house. He had been there recently. Walking into the dining room, she found the letter he had left for them. Shaking her head, she put it back onto the table. "That coward," she muttered to herself. She had thought he was finally taking responsibility for his own mistakes and life, but obviously the only thing he was good at was running away from them.
Walking into the kitchen, she found a second envelope addressed to Alice in Jasper's handwriting. She knew it was something Alice was not going to like, so she was going to stay there until Alice arrived to support her sister. Also, once Renesmee arrived...everything could go downhill from there as the stress of the entire situation could push her into early labor and nobody wanted that.

Esme was not trying to spend much time at home since it seemed it was not longer a happy place like it once was just months before. It used to be a place where Esme had felt her happiest but now all she felt was loneliness as she walked around the house doing chores. It was just always to quiet so she spent a lot of time shopping for flowers and object to improve her Garden which she now like to spend a lot of time.
While she was on her way home she got a text message from Rosalie and knew she was need at home. See all the other names on the text Esme knew it must have been something Important. She hoped it was not more bad news, the last thing they needed was Renesmee to get upset or someone else in the family to get in a fight. The family as already falling apart as it was causing Esme heart to break .
Pulling her car up to the driveway she could see Rosalie and Emmett in the yard and noticed some damage to some of the surrounding trees. Something was up and Esme knew by the way Rosalie looked she was the one who distorted the trees, she must have been back to her old self, the Rose that she was thirty years before. Something happen and whatever it was it must have not been good.
Esme waked over to Emmett and Rosalie an place a hand on both of their shoulders but spoke to Emmett and not Rosalie, Esme did not want to upset her. Calmly and softly Esme let her voice speak out he motherly tone sounder worried as she spoke but she wanted to know what was up. "Emmett, what happen?"

Emmett didn't say anything to Rosalie, he just held her tight into the silence as he heard the water flowing. He wasn't going to forgive Jasper on what he did, especially to Alice and Rosalie and his kids. It was unbelievable for him to accept what Jasper did. It was mistake after mistake. All he could think about other than Rosalie was Alice. Yeah, she has been with Evan lately but she was still Jasper's wife and soul-mate. More importantly, he could just imagine Esme being shattered also, with Jasper gone.
It wasn't too long when Emmett smelled Bella's scent at the mansion. He was little relieved that she didn't break anything or got angry like Rosalie did. He closed his eyes, hoping that Esme doesn't come at the moment. Just then, when it couldn't get any worse, he smelled Esme's scent and felt her hand on his shoulder. Knowing that he would have to explain everything to her, since neither Esme nor Emmett wanted Rosalie tell anyone. Because: a) she's going be more furious than she was. B) He was the one who had to calm her down and bring her into senses. c) No one wants to see Rosalie furious again or break things.
Emmett looked at Esme, in disbelieve and shook his head. "Jasper's gone for good. He's not coming back to Forks again or to the family." He explained to Esme. "And you know how Rosalie gets when she's mad, she has to take her anger out on something. I apologize, on Rosalie's behalf, on whatever she broke inside the mansion." He was certain that she must have broke something that came first into her hand, which is more likely to be Esme's stuff.

Esme let go of Emmett and took a few steps back, and placed her hand worriedly upon the side of her face .She really wished Carlisle was there at the moment hearing that Jasper had left the family and was not returning to Forks really pained her. She felt like once more she was loosing a child, sure Jasper was not her biological child but he was still her son who she care for over the years like he truly was.
"I...I don't know what to say..." Esme turned around and ran into the house into her bedroom. She did not want to be alone but she did not want to burden Emmett at the moment she really need someone to talk to hopefully the first person to find her would be Carlisle but she wouldn't mind any form of comfort. Esme sat there quietly by herself and thoughts of Renesmee and how learning Jasper had left the family might upset her. Hopefully Jacob would be by her side when she arrived at the house.

Alice had been out shopping when she got Rosalies text that she was needed at home. Alice drove there as fast as she could. Once at home she say that Bella, Rosalie, Emmet and Esme where already there. She walked into the house and saw them all there. "What's going on?" She asked them as she walked over to Bella and looked up at her. Everyone looked worried or upset, Alice had an idea about what this might be over but she didn't know for sure. "It's not Nessie is it? She's okay right?" Alice asked Bella. She then looked at Rosalie and saw how upset she was. Alice hadn't been talking to Rosalie lately because she sided with Jasper on everything, it was almost like they were not sisters anymore. "Come on someone tell me what's up." Alice asled the room again with a nervous giggle.

Bella watched as Esme came into the house and went straight to her room; this was a significant loss for her as Jasper was still her son, regardless of what had happened. Standing in the middle of the house, Bella felt helpless to what was going on around her. And then Alice came in, asking what was going on. Bella took the note with Alice's name on it and walked over to her sister. "Alice, Nessie is fine, although it might not be that way for long," she said. "Jasper is gone Alice. He left and brought two notes; one for the family and one for you." Gently, she held out the note with her name on it for Alice to read.
In the meantime, Bella kept a sharp eye out for her daughter to come into the house because this was not the type of situation that she needed to be in because of her precarious condition with the pregnancy. She did not want her daughter to go into early labor; nobody wanted that because Renesmee's baby was so special to all of them.

Rose went into the house after their mother, she knew that Esme hated it when one of them left. She stood in the living room with Emmett when Alice entered the house. Rose knew that Alice was still upset with her for siding with Jasper, but Rose was just trying to keep her brother and now he was gone for good. Rose watched as Bella handed Alice the letter for her. Rose was still to furious to talk, she just stood close to Emmett hoping that his strength and love would calm her.

Alice took the letter that Bella handed her with her name on it. She looked around the room at everyone and took a deep breath then opened it. Alice read and saw that it was what she thought it was, Jasper was gone for good. Alice bit her bottom lip, she wished things didn't have to end this way, she wanted Jasper to stay, she wanted them to be friends, but he couldn't do that. Once she was done with the letter she folded it up and handed it back to Bella. "Take this." She said as she walked to the window and crossed her arms. "So the Cullens are down one." She said out loud to herself as she looked out the window.
