Faith had returned to Forks not long after Maria had scolded her for trying to make the Jasper/Alice sitaution worse than it already was. As far as Faith was concerned, things in Forks were really messed up and she should've been able to persue things her way.
No matter though.
Not wanting to stir things up in Forks again just yet, Faith got herself a hotel room in Port Angeles and decided to go out on the town. She was sure someone would be able to keep her company. Especially if she went to a human club--which vampires and werewolves went to on a regular basis.
Hey, being half and half has its advantages.
Faith headed to Crimson, the club in Port Angeles. It was a popular club in the state of Washington. Pretty ritzy, but not too over the top. Anyone who was anyone--or just people who loved to have a good time--were seen there. Faith was definately both, so she walked in as the velvet ropes part--as they always did--for her and she stood at the top of the balcony. There were a few hundred people there, which was a good thing.
Walking down the stairs to the main floor, Faith walked over to the bar and sat down as the music played. It was soothing to her ears, despite the rhythm. Faith's Outfit

Katelyn had been in Forks all of a month or so and had found that there literally was nothing to do in that tiny town. She remembered that Kenzie had told her there was a club in Port Angeles, so she decided to head out that direction and see what was there. She drove to Port Angeles after getting dressed in a silver spaghetti strap dress, silver heels, and pulling her long blonde hair into a loose ponytail at the base of her neck.
The drive took about an hour and she was parking outside of the club called Crimson. Using her fake ID, she got in without a problem and began to just walk around to see if she could see anyone she would remotely recognize, although she doubted anyone from Seattle would come down here to go clubbing when there were plenty there in Seattle to keep them occupied. So, she just walked around and was content with the atmosphere.

Faith loved being half vampire, half werewolf because she could drink alcohol. It was one of the things she loved to drink when she was human and giving that up would've been hard. She ordered a martini and sipped on it slowly. She looked around, fighting the urge to dance in her seat.
As she watched people in the crowd, she spotted a young blond whom she recognized from somewhere, though she didn't know quite where. Faith continued to stare at her, watching her move through the crowd. She was sure it would hit her anytime.....

Katelyn walked through the club, just listening to the beat and rhythm of the songs that were being played by the DJ. It was surreal to be in a club again. The last time she had gone was nearly a year before whenever Kenzie had come to Seattle for a visit. Those had been good times and she sometimes missed going out with the girls on a regular basis, but she knew she had to concentrate on more serious things, like her dancing.
As she walked up to the bar, she ordered a Grey Goose Martini and sat down to drink it. This had been the first drink she had had in a long while. She had gone through a period of really off-behavior, but now drinking was only an occasional thing. As she sat at the bar, she noticed another blonde around her age sitting at the bar as well. Instead of being social, she just decided to keep to herself.

That's it! Faith thought. She goes to Forks High! She didn't know her by name, but she definately knew the face. When she sat down, Faith watched her and sipped her martini again. The girl said nothing to her, so she decided to speak up. "I know you from somewhere," she said.

It almost startled Katelyn whenever the girl next to her spoke. Katelyn wasn't usually one to be so jumpy, but this was a new place to her and a stranger totally talked to her out of nowhere. "I'm sorry, I'm new here. I just moved to Forks about a month ago, so I don't really know too many people just yet," she explained, running her finger along the rim of her martini glass. "About the only people I really know are my two best friends that moved there before I did."

Faith smiled in an expression of relatability. "Mm. I know what that feels like." She held her hand out. "Faith. Madison." She held onto her martini glass with her other hand, resting her free arm on the counter. Be better to make nice with her first. She smiled a different smile now, this one more friendly.

Katelyn smiled at the girl who introduced herself as Faith Madison. She seemed friendly enough. She shook her hand lightly and introduced herself as well, "Katelyn Taylor." In her entire life, Katelyn had always really been the outgoing type of her friends, so meeting new people was never the problem. In fact, she was always the center of the party whenever she, Lucy, and Kenzie went out in Seattle because she was loud, fun, and silly.

Faith smiled a bit brighter as Katelyn shook her hand. "It's very nice to meet you Katelyn." She let go of her hand and rested her hand back in her lap. "So what bring you to Port Angeles on this fine night? Forks wearing you out?" She chuckled a bit. Forks was boring, but she had business there. It was.....non negotiable.

Katelyn laughed when Faith asked her what brought her to Port Angeles. "Well, there were just so many riveting things to do in Forks that I just could not decide, so I came here instead," she replied sarcastically before laughing again. If it was one thing Katelyn had no control over, it was her sarcasm. "Actually, I just wanted to come here to check out this place. My best friend Kenzie said it was pretty nice, so I decided to take her word for it and come. How about yourself?" she asked, deciding to make polite conversation with her new acquaintance.

"I just got back from an extended holiday," Faith said giving her the half truth. "I needed a night out. I'm currently staying here in Port Angeles. You know, give the parents some more space." Truth was her parents were dead. When she reffered to "her parents" she was really reffering to Maria, who was constantly in Texas. Maria never left the Monestary. Or rarely did, if ever.

Nathaniel sighed as he showed his fake id to the bouncer at the front door of the club. He grinned to himself it was ironic really that his drivers license was a fake for the exact opposite reasons that others needed fake ids. If Nate was to put his actual age on the license then he would have been rounded up and shipped off to become some sort of science experiment. He slowly made his way through the crowd towards a corner that would be safe to watch the bar as a whole. As his hand brushed against the hands of the others in the bar he was catching glimpses of their personal history. He smiled as one encounter allowed him to see a woman playing with two children in the front yard of a beautiful white-picket fence sort of home.
As Nathaniel walked past the bar he felt a pull inside himself. He wore a small frown for a moment and realized it was the same feeling he had when he met Katelyn. ‘But what would Kate being doing in a bar?’ Deciding that he was too curios not to find out Nathaniel made his way towards the bar to see Kate sitting on one of the chairs with a drink in front of her. Nathaniel could feel himself relax now that Kate was within his site and he once again took an unnecessary breath before standing a few feet to the side of Kate that was not occupied. He could feel a smile inch across his face as he said loud enough to be heard over the music, “I did not realize you were old enough to come into a place like this.”

Listening to Faith, Katelyn could really relate about the whole parents thing. Her own parents were considering sending her to boarding school if her behavior did not change from last year. However, she put that behind her. "I think a night out every once in a while is nice, especially when it gives parents a break from their teenaged kids." At that she laughed. Then she heard his voice behind her.
Turning around to see Nathaniel walking toward her made her nervous. He was still as beautiful as she remembered that night she first saw him. She stumbled over her words, "I um...I do come to clubs from time to time...it's no big deal really." Smooth Katelyn. Real smooth. Idiot.

Faith listened to Katelyn and was about to speak when someone talked behind her. She looked over Katelyn's shoulder to see a handsome man there behind Katelyn. Faith laced her finger together. "Well, well. I can see someone has an admirer." Faith knew he was a vampire from the scent she picked up. She just watched the two.

Nathaniel bit back a chuckle as Kate reacted to him. He had been raised to believe it was inappropriate to make someone feel uncomfortable and Nate allowed his friendly smile to remain in place. He also felt a small victory that Kate had not stumbled and tried to sprint away from him like he had half expected her to. “I rarely frequent clubs. I prefer to see a film, or a play.” At that point Nathaniel looked slightly past Kate to see a female sitting on the other side of her. He had been so focused on Kate that he did not realize that Kate had been talking to this other woman. Just as an apology was going to pass through his lips Nate felt something different in the air. He cocked his head to the side unknowingly and watched the woman sitting next to Kate. After a few seconds of watching the woman Nathaniel decided she was not a human, but she also did not seem to be full vampire either. Not wishing to cause a scene in a bar full of humans much less this close to Kate; Nathaniel nodded his head to the fellow creature of the night and said, “Hello my name is Nathaniel.”
