Harmony called Jacob earlier in the day and asked if he was busy. He'd graciously agreed to meet her at First Beach so they could have a day of fun. It had been a long time since they'd bonded and it was needed immensely.
She was missing her boyfriend, who was currently on an extended holiday. It was lonely in La Push anymore because everyone hung out in Forks. It wasn't like the good ol' days. Not that Harmony didn't mind. But why could they have a big beach party now that the Cullens could come to La Push?
Something to bring up to Jake.
As she waited, Harmony sat in the sand drawing funny pictures with a stick. She drew one of her and Jake when she was a kid. It was pretty funny because she made Jake a little too skinny. His right leg was shorter than his left. And he was missing a finger on his left hand.

Jacob had missed his cousin, he had not see her since he got back from the honeymoon. It was not like he was avoiding her, he was just busy getting everything back into order after returned to La Push. He had not really seen anyone in the pack yet because he got the updates over the phone. Now with Nessie news of bring pregnant Jacob was trying to sort a few things out with the pack schedule when he got a call from Harmony. He was glad she called because he missed her very much.
It took him a few minutes but he got to the beach, Nessie was out of town with Bella so he knew she was safe. He did not like the fact of his pregnant wife being so distant from him at then moment and visiting the Lexie who he thought was nothing but a home wrecker but there was nothing he could do Bella wanted them to make up.
As he approached Harmony he could see her drawing it the sand and began to laugh at her. " Hey Harm what is that suppose to be Frankenstein ?"

Harmony smiled when Jake approached her. "Ha ha. Very funny Jake. And no it's supposed to be you. But you know how I am with art. I suck." She stood up and threw he stick down. She wrapped her arms around her cousin. "I missed you Jake. How is Renesmee? How was the honeymoon?! Tell me everything worth knowing." She giggled as she let him go. |

Jacob wrapped his am around Harmony as she pulled him into a hug. Laughing as her a bit about art comment. " The honeymoon was wonderful and Ness is just as wonderful as ever. She when to go see her cousin Alexandra with Bella. I am more her family I am worried about her family and how it seems that every time we think life as settled down something else pops up. Oh remind me not to let you to teach the baby how to draw." he did not know if she would pick up on his subtle clue that he was gong to be a Father.

Harmony listened, giddily, to Jake and when he started dropping some weird hints--she was good at picking things up--she gave him an excited questioning look. "Wait a second Jakey. Are you telling me that I'm going to be a second cousin?!" She gasped. "Ness is pregnant!?! Oh my God! Jake! Congratulations!" She grabbed her cousin and hugged him tighter. |

A big grin stretched across Jacob face. "Ya Harm Renesmee is pregnant, I never though I be a father this soon after I was married but i ma getting more excited by the day. Your the first person in the pack to know." Jacob was surprised on how excited Harmony really was. "So much as changed for me in such little time. I feel that I have so may responsibilities now I don't know if I am coming or going anymore Harmony, I am sorry I have not made time to see you sooner Coz." Jacob felt one of the responsibility he was lacking on was being a good cousin, to Harmony she was the only family he had left besides Quil, and EJ.

Harmony let go of her cousin. "Oooh I'm so freaking happy for you Jake! And Nessie! Oh my God, this is so exciting! I'm going to be cousin Har Har." She laughed. She jumped up and down, clapping rapidly. "I want to see Nessie when we're done today. But first, we're having a cousins day out. My way. It sounds like you need a day of fun. And, as you know, I know how to provide it!" She giggled. |

Jacob thought knew how excited she was when he first found out he was excited to shocked but very excited. "Sure I like said Ness is with Bella right now but she should be back later. She will be happy to see how happy you are for us." Jacob grinned at Harmony see how demanding she was being. She had every right though because sometimes Instead of telling people what to do Jacob had to listen to to others. "Oh okay little miss alpha wanna be." He Joked wondering what she had planed for them to do.

"Hey! I am not an alpha wanna be," she half-teased. "And I'm a werwolf with a high attention span." She was joking, but it even made her crack up to her own statement. She grabbed Jake's hand and said, "Okay let's go coz. We have a date with a lady named fun." She laughed and pulled him along. |

Jacob felt like he was being let around by a young child as Harmony pulled him along. "Hey now are you trying to something totally ridiculous for a father then I don't know if I want to do it. " Jacob said try on his new role." And I don't know who this fun person is but it seems like she would be a nice person to meet" He joked again.

Harmony laughed. "You'll be fine. Besides, you need to let the inner child in your out. At least for today as long as we're together, coz. It'll be fun. Trust me." She smiled brightly. "Now, we're going to the cliffs for some cliff diving first and foremost. I know how much you love that." |

"I have not gone cliff diving in forever," Jacob said little a smile cross his face, he had missed going it. It had actually been months since he done it last since the day before Renesmee returned from forks."Ok Cliff diving sounds like a good start for this day of fun." Though Jacob liked cliff diving he had it already set in him mind he would never let his child do so, It was no something a father or a mother would be happy about seeing their child leap of a high cliff and fall into the ocean.

Harmony smiled, giddily. "Good. See, I know you too well." She let go of her arm, knowing now that he wouldn't try to sneak off. She lead him to the cliffs which weren't too far away. No one else was there, which wouldn't have mattered either way, but this day was about cousin and cousin. No one else. At least not until later when they went to see Renesmee.
When she reached the top of the cliff--not paying attention to how far Jake was behind her--Harmony pulled her shirt and skirt off revealing her bathing suit and kicked her heels off. She stretched her arms over her head and asked, "You ready?" |

Jacob was only a few feet behind Harmony so he could easily hear her when she spoke."Ya I'm ready Just got to takes some clothes off." Jacob pulled his shirt over his head and stripped of his Jeans and shoes so he was just standing there in his boxers. He did not realty prepare to go cliff diving but he might as well do it when he had the free time. These day free time was almost not a word for him.

Har chuckled. "Alright. 1.....2.....3!" She ran and jumped off the cliff, canon balling into the water. The water was surprisingly warm for early spring. She stayed under water for a couple dozen seconds, then swam up to the top and took a nice breath of air. She shook her head out, not clearing her eyes yet, so she could not see. "Jake?" |
