Jasper walked into Club Valis on what was now Saturday, for it had just stroked midnight. The club was realitively full tonight and the first thing he saw when he walked in was a fight over a female vampire between two guys. He laughed to himself. Security came over and broke it up. This was a first for Club Valis.
Listening to the song playing, Jasper walke up to the bar and asked for a glass of deers blood. The woman next to him ordered a glass of AB positive. It was tempting, but he really had no use for human blood anymore. Maybe being around Lexie and the kids so much kept him grounded. |

Edward knew that it was time to talk to Jasper so he went to Seattle to find him. Edward was not sure that Jasper would talk to him, but it was time for them to have a brother to brother talk. Things could not keep going the way that the were going. Their family had always be to close to let some thing like this split them up. Edward walked around Seattle listening for Jasper's thought when he came across them coming from a Bar. Edward was not sure what to think about that, but he followed Jasper's thoughts to him.
Edward walked up behind Jasper and watched at the bartender gave Jasper a glass with blood in it. Edward like to hit the blood, a vampire bar in Washington, he thought. He shook his head and spoke. "Jasper, can we talk?" He waited for his brother to acknowledge him.

Jasper heard a familiar voice breaking into his thoughts. He turned to the side and saw Edward standing there. Jasper straightened up. "Hello Edward. Long time no see." He aknowledged the stool next to him for it was empty. This meant that Jasper agree to talking. Though he really wouldn't want to discuss the situation he knew Edward was going to bring up, it would do him some good to do so. |

Edward sat down next to Jasper when he offered. Edward was not completely sure of where to start. Edward thought and figured the easier the better. "I miss you, bro." That was the truth, Edward did miss Jasper. Edward knew that Jasper would never be the same again though, to much had happened. "Jasper, I want to apologize for the way that we acted toward you. I know that what happened was not your fault, but we all over reacted." Edward said to Jasper. He was not sure what else to say. He had not seen Jasper in months and knew that if the truth be told Rosalie was probably the only one that Jasper wanted to see.

Jasper listened to Edward impassively. He nodded as his brother spoke. However, he didn't believe a lot of it and kept his thought to himself, not really thinking so that Edward couldn't hear him. "Look, Edward." Jasper straightened up on his stool. "I appreciate your apology, but.....we're never going to be a family again. Especially if Alice and I aren't married. She was the reason I stayed in the family. That's not saying that I don't love the family. But, honestly, if there's no more us, there's no more me." He hoped Edward would understand. |

Edward understood his brother better than anyone. Edward knew what is felt like to lose the love of your life. "Jasper, I know how you feel, but there is always a way. I left once too, remember. I thought that I could walk away from Bella. I thought that I was strong enough to live with out her and that she would be better off with out me." Edward knew that Jasper would remember the reason behind Edward leaving. Bella's disasterous eighteenth birthday party when a papercut had cause an adverse reaction from Jasper. "I know that it is hard to understand now, but think about your relationship in the first place. Was is really a marriage or a deep rooted friendship that reached to both of your souls?" Edward hope that he was getting through to his brother. Edward wanted him to return to the family, he knew that the family was not the same without Jasper. "We all need you, Jasper. It is not just Alice that loves you. You are a part of the family no matter what." Edward said as he looked at his brother. "You are not the first to have problems. All couple go through tough times. It is how you handle those times that matters." Edward sain and finally looked up at Jasper. Edward knew that he was probably not the best one that could get through to Jasper, but Rose was not around.

Jasper held up a hand. "Alice doesn't love me anymore. She made the quite frank the last time I was in Forks." He sighed. "For me, it was love. For her, I can't say. She claims it was love, but I'm not confirming that. Maybe she was lying to me about everything we ever had. I want her back Edward. So badly." |
