Edward paced back and forth between his and Bella's room and the garden off the side. It was a sunny day so everytime he walked into the sun he glittered. Edward was lost in thought as he paced. Edward needed to tell Bella the true but at the same time he did not want too. Edward knew Bella and knew what she would do to the poor girl. Never in the thirty-three years that he and Bella had been together, not counting the six months that he was stupid, had any other woman tried to get his attention. Edward was the one that was alway jealous of the men that chased after Bella.
Now Edward had to tell her that another woman, not only liked him, but tried very hard to seduce him. Of course Edward would never do anything to hurt Bella, and she was the only love of his life. However, he knew that she would not take this well. Edward was almost afraid of Bella. With that thought he laughed. In the years that she was human, he had wanted Bella to be afraid of him and leave to live a normal life. After that she was a vampire, he realized that this was the life that she was meant to live, but never did he think that he would fear her. Bella did have a temper though when it came to her family, and that was just the family as a whole. He did not know how she would react to someone trying to steal him.
Edward paced faster and faster until he was moving in flashed of motion, while he waited on Bella to come home. He had waited until after the wedding so that Bella could truly enjoy their daughters wedding, but now he had to tell her. He could not keep it from her any more. Edward absolutely hated keeping things for her and knew that normally she could tell when he was. That was why they didn't keep secrets from each other, even with Bella's ablity to do so.

Bella had just finished taking down the last of the decorations from Renesmee's wedding. It was absolutely beautiful in her mind; although, nothing compared to what Alice would have done. But, she pushed that thought from her mind. Once the last flower arrangement was moved into a better location so it was out of the way, she decided to make her way home. It had been a few hours since she last saw Edward, so she wanted some time with him. They had given away their only child, so they needed one another now. When she walked into the cottage, she found it empty, which was odd since he was supposed to be there. She could sense him nearby, so she went outside and around the house to where the garden was.
There he was, pacing back and forth like some maniac. It almsot made Bella laugh. "Edward, what in the world are you doing?" she laughed. "You look kind of crazy doing that, you know that right?" She walked over and intervened in his pacing, taking one hand and putting her other to his chest to stop him. "I know you're worried about Nessie, but she'll be fine...she's with Jake now."

Edward stopped as Bella stood in his way. He laughed as she spoke, she thought he was worried about Nessie. How was he going to tell her. "I am not worried about Nessie, my love." He said as he lead her over to one of the benches in the garden. "I need to talk to you, and this is the hardest conversation that I have ever had with you." Edward was more nervous and he could have imagined.
Edward looked into her eyes and wrapped her hands in his. "I was walking in the woods the other day, and well something happen." He stopped to think about the way to form the words correctly.

As Edward led her over to one of the benches, she didn't like his tone of voice that he was using with her. He had never used that before...ever on her. Not once in their thirty years of marriage. "Edward, you're scaring me," she said, feeling her stomach drop to her feet and her throat clench. "What's going on? What happened in the forest the other day?"
This was beginning to feel like the day he left her so many years before. There was the exact same gut-wrenching feeling that she could not push away. But he promised that he would never leave her again and they were married, so that could be it...could it?

Edward could tell that he was scaring Bella and with that he laughed lightly. He was afraid to tell her and she was scared. "Okay, here goes. I was walking in the forest and I came across a half vampire/half wolf. I could hear her thoughts and knew what she wanted, so I kinda insulted her. She could control pheromones and was trying to seduce me. Well I told her that it wouldn't work, that you where my one true love. Then I left and came home." Edward finished in a rush. He was glad that Bella was a vampire so that she could keep up with him.

Bella listened intently as Edward told her what happened in the forest. By the time he finished, she wanted to rip the girl's head off right then and there. "Who the hell does she think she is?" she asked, inhaling sharply. "She better hope and pray she doesn't run into me or I will...I'll take her down myself with no moral qualms." The anger was seething through her by then, but not at Edward. He had resisted and pushed her away, despite her 'charms'. For that, she could not put any blame on her husband because he had remained true. She loved him even more for that.
There was so much anger inside her that she got up and started pacing herself. "Dammit," she muttered. "Can we not get one day of peace without someone waltzing in and doing something to screw up our lives as a family?"

Edward knew that his assumptions about Bella's anger was right. He hadn't told her the girls name yet and was waiting for her to ask. Edward did not know if Bella knew her or not. They had stopped going to school when the twins came. He had not paid any attention to her when they were in school. Edward could only hope that Bella hadn't either.
Edward knew that Bella meant it when she said that she would kill Faith. Edward saw her anger, but her shield was still up so he was not sure if she was mad at he or not, though he had not done anything wrong. When she started pacing, Edward started to worry. He was glad that Nessie was not here to see this. He stood up and tried to wrapped his arms around her. When she asked about a single day of peace.
Edward had a brilliant idea that would insure that they had a few days of peace as a family. Nessie and Jake were gone for two weeks and they could leave forks for awhile. Edward thought about the family going to Isle Esme, and with everything that was about to happen he thought it was a great idea. They could not stay in Forks with what was going on with Lexie. Though Edward had not told Bella that he knew about that yet either.
Edward finally stopped Bella and looked into her eyes. "We are almost finished with Nessie and Jake's house, so why don't we call a family meeting and the entire family take a vacation to Isle Esme. We haven't been since our wedding and we haven't been on a family vacation in years." Edward knew that the family could use the vacation. "We can even call Nessie and have her and Jake meet us there after their honeymoon." He said to her, still looking into her eyes.

When Edward wrapped his strong arms around her, she breathed a sigh of some relief. Although, she was still beyond pissed at whoever had tried to seduce her husband. For now, she stuffed that in the back of her mind for a later day to hunt down the sorry wench who dared step into her world. Edward was her husband and no one else's. There wasn't a single thing in the entire world that could break the two of them apart. He was her world, her life, her everything. Looking at him, she knew he was worried that she was angry with him. "I'm not mad at you," she said calmly and evenly. "I am just wondering how long I can hold off before I hunt down that sorry..." she didn't finish her thought because she was so angry.
When Edward mentioned going to Isle Esme, her thoughts snapped to a problem that she had not yet told him about. "Edward, we can't go to Isle Esme right now...there's a problem we have to deal with," she explained slowly. "Lexie...is pregnant...with Jasper's child. She came to me before the wedding and was sick at her stomach and admitted that she and Jasper had slept together. Her symptoms are exactly the same as mine were before Nessie was born." Bella knew that this news was going to set off Edward all over Jasper, especially because Alice had only just come home and already they were dealing with problems again.

Edward knew that no one could ever come between him and Bella. She was the only one that he had ever loved. When her temper got the best of her, he just loved her more. Edward watched as Bella calmed down. He knew that they would deal with things together. When Bella said no to going to Isle Esme because of Lexie, Edward smiled at her, because he already knew what was going on.
"Bella love, I already know that. I figured that out from Jasper's thoughts at the wedding." Edward was furious with his brother, but he would deal with that later. "That is part of the reason that I suggested it. We don't need for her to be here when the baby is born." Edward knew that if Lexie disappeared from school for a few weeks it would not be that uncommon for their family. They were always missing school. "We don't have to go though if you don't think it is a good idea. We can always go later." He said as he leaned down to kiss her.

Bella ducked out of Edward's kiss; something that she had never done in her entire life with him, but her anger was just rising to the point where she could not control it any longer. "Edward, I want to know how the hell he could do this to Alice? she snapped unmeaningly at him before apologizing, "I'm sorry if I sound angry at you but I just am trying really hard not to kill Jasper right now." Bella began to anxiously pace around the garden.
"Maybe we could send just Jake and Nessie to Isle Esme by themselves so that we can deal with the situation here," she suggested. This was definitely something she did not want their daughter seeing, especially because it involved Jasper's infidelity and Alice's heartbreak. "I know that I am going to have to stay here; not only to help with the Lexie situation, but to tell Alice. I haven't spoken to her since she came home and I wanted to be the one to break it to her. She's going to need me too."

Edward knew that things were extremely bad for Bella, when she pulled away from him. When she explored at him, he knew that she was just trying to vent. After all their time together, he was used to being the one that she vented at. "Bella love, It is fine. I am just as upset with Jasper as you are. As for how it happened, well that is a long story." Edward stopped and looked at her. He was not totally sure that he was the right one to tell her everything. Edward had distanced himself from Jasper after Alice left. Edward had already been mad at Jasper for that and now he was just plain furious with his brother. Edward didn't know everything. "I think that if you want to know exactly how this happened that you are going to have to talk to Jasper. However, I refuse to speak to him." Edward growled.
Edward heard Bella mention sending Nessie and Jake to the island and knew that it was a good idea. "As for sending Nessie and Jake to Isle Esme, I agree that is a good idea." Edward didn't want them here either. He knew that he and Bella would be busy with Alice. After all, she was Edwards twin, and favorite sister. She was also Bella's best friend.

Bella began pacing angrily. Jasper had done the ultimate wrong that any husband could do to their wife. He had gone and slept with another woman and got that woman pregnant. And it wasn't just any woman, it was Bella's cousin. That was far worse than just some random girl he picked from anywhere else. "Oh, I've asked him how this happened and he just gave me some bogus answer of how she came to him drunk one night, he tried to control her emotions, and blacked out. Then when he woke up, their clothes were magically gone and he had slept with her," she muttered. "Regardless of whatever happened with his power, he should have never put himself in that situation."
Exasperated, she took a deep breath to calm herself from going off any further. "This is going to devastate Alice," she said mournfully. "Jasper was everything to her and then this...I don't know how to tell her. She's my best friend and it's going to break her heart, but I know if she hears it from anyone but me, it'll be worse." Breaking the news to Alice was going to all but kill Bella. For the last thirty plus years, Alice had been her best friend and she had always been so happy with Jasper. Now...well now, everything was going to change.

Edward had heard Jasper's excuse that he told Bella. Edward also knew that Bella felt very deeply for a vampire, as did he. Edward did not want to defend Jasper, but he knew that he had to say something. "Bella love, I know that neither of us feel that what Jasper did was right. However, how is what he did any different than what Emmett did, while he was seperated from Rose? Alice and Jasper were separated and while I love my sister, she was the one that left. Beside, it seems that she has found someone else." Edward stopped there, he knew more than anyone how she felt about Evan. Edward was not ready for that conversation just yet. "Bella love, I know that Alice can handle the truth and that she will be able to overcome it." Edward knew his twin and knew that she could live through this.

Bella couldn't help but be angry. No matter what had happened between Rose and Emmett, it still didn't justify what Jasper had done to Alice. If Bella hadn't had the self-control she did, she would have flew off at the handle the minute she knew Jasper had cheated on Alice and probably killed him. "As true as that might be, the situation with Rose and Emmett was different than Alice and Jasper," she qualified. "Alice left because of Crystal, so she and Jasper weren't technically 'separated' so he can't use that as his excuse." No matter what the reason was, Bella still was so pissed off at Jasper. Then something caught her attention, Edward had mentioned something about Alice finding someone else. She looked into her husband's eyes firmly, "Edward, what do you mean she might have found someone else?"
No matter what Edward said, she knew that Alice would still be really angry. This was not a conversation she was looking forward to having.

Edward knew that no matter what he said he was angry at Jasper as much as Bella was. He knew that things were changing and not exactly for the better in the family. Edward knew that Bella was right about Alice and that she was going to be angry, but Edward also knew that Alice was confused by her relationship with Evan. Edward knew that no matter what decision Alice made, he would support her and that was all that mattered to him. Edward would alway support his twin.
When Bella asked about the comment that he had made about Alice finding someone know, he realized that he had given to much away again. Edward did not want to break Alice's trust but he knew that he could not keep things from Bella. He was surprised that she didn't see it though. Edward looked down at her as she looked at him. "Bella, you know that I can not break Alice's trust by telling you her thoughts. When she decided on her course of action I am sure that she will tell you." Edward hoped that Bella would understand what he was saying. He knew that she should be able to figure things out on her own with the information that he had said.
