Description: . Edward is impossibly beautiful, with skin that is very pale, ice cold, like marble, and sparkles in the sun. His face is perfect and angular with high cheekbones, a strong jawline, a straight nose, and full lips. His unusual bronze hair is always messy. He eyes change from gold to black the longer he goes without feeding and dark purple bruises appear under his eyes. He stands 6’2” and is slender but muscular.

Background/History:
Edward was born in Chicago on June 20, 1901. He was the only son of Edward Masen, Sr. and Elizabeth Masen. He was his mother’s life. Her biggest fear was of him turning 18 and joining the military during WWI. In 1918, the Spanish Influenza broke out in Chicago. He father died in the first wave of it and his mother fought to care for him until her death. On her death bed she made their attending doctor promise to do everything he could to save her son, Edward. That attending doctor was the vampire Carlisle Cullen.
Carlisle stole Edward away from the hospital and changed him into a vampire, just hours after his mother’s death. Edward was the first one that Carlisle turned into a vampire. Since that time, Edward has passed as Carlisle’s adopted son or as the younger brother of Esme, Carlisle’s wife, before the family grew to its current size. Edward has come to love Carlisle and Esme as his parents. Though he did leave them about ten years after he was turned. From 1927 until 1931, Edward had a bout of rebellion and went off for a few years on his own away from Carlisle and Esme. He figured that he could drink off of humans if they were truly evil, using his special gifts to avoid the innocent. After a while, he couldn’t escape the debt of so much human life taken, no matter how justified and returned to Carlisle and Esme who welcomed him back with open arms.
Around 1936, Edward moved to Forks with his family where they encountered the Quileute Indians who have the ability to transform into werewolves. A treaty was arranged stating that the wolves would leave the Cullens alone so long as they didn't bite any humans and stay off of the Quileute land. The Cullens lived in Forks for a few years before moving on to other places. Thought they eventually returned to Forks in 2003 and have been there ever since.
Personality: Edward is loving, protective, and devoted to his family. He was the lone member of his family for almost a century until Bella walked into his life. From their first encounter his life was all about her. His put her safety first above everything else. Edward is very generous to all his family. He love to give them gifts. Edward would give his life for his family.
Likes: Collecting cars, playing the piano, writing music
Dislikes: Anyone that threatens Bella, Mike Newton, the Volturi.

RP Sample: Edward knew that Bella still didn’t like surprised, but he was going to surprise her for her birthday anyway. It had been years since they had celebrated her birthday, but he had seen a gift that he wanted to give her. It was a large 3 carat diamond ring. He laughed to himself as he thought about how she was going to react. Even after all these years, she didn’t like him spending money on her. He bought the ring and headed back to the house.
When he arrived at the house, he knew that Alice had seen what he was doing and was at the door waiting to see the ring. He walked through the door and handed the little black box to Alice for her approval. After she finished dancing around and gave the box back. He placed the box back in his pocket and went to the piano to play while he waited for Bella to return from hunting with Nessie.
He heard Nessie’s thoughts as they came back to the house. He moved from the piano to the backyard where they would be coming over the river at. He saw his beautiful wife and started smiling. When she was over the river, he took her in his arms and kissed her like it was their first kiss. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out the little box. ”Happy Birthday”, he said as he opened the box. (3 paragraphs please)
