Alice stood there looking at him. "I understand but still once she came to you, you should have sent her away to Bella. You should have never tried to keep her in the same room as you." Alice said going back to the closet and grabbing some more clothes to pack for when she was moving.

Jasper followed Alice. "Alice, I probably would've had to try to control her emotions to try to get her to go see Bella too. She was crying and really, really drunk. She probably would've got real defensive if I tried to send her to Bella by herself, or with me." He crossed his arms, watching her grab stuff to pack. He wouldn't try to stop her. |

Alice turned to look at him. "What is done is done. And it's just not the babies and Lexie Jasper. Whay didn't you come after me?" She asked him. Alice then turned back around and packed some more. It had really hurt her that Jasper never came after her when she had gone to London.

Alice turned around to look at Jasper. "I wanted you around Jasper, but you sided with Crystal, who I didn't trust. And that hurt, really hurt. My first few weeks in London I moped around hopping that the next corner I turned was going to be you. But you never came. Never came. That made me think that you didn't really love me." Alice was getting hot now. "If you left and told me not to come I still would have followed you, because I love you that much. But you Jasper Whitlock Hale NEVER CAME!" Alice yelled at him.

Jasper threw his hands up in defeat. "My bad. Sorry if I didn't catch the sublte message." His tone was sarcastic. He walked out of the room and grabbed his stuff to move it down to the livingroom. He walked out of the room, going downstairs. No one else was home and Alexandra was probably in the bathroom. Yeah, he could smell her there. He sat his stuff down and sat on the couch, putting his face in his hands. |

Alice ran to the top of the stairs and looked down at Jasper. "Jasper, you have changed, you know that? You're not the gentleman I once knew. Now you are a jerk, who only thinks about himself. What happened to the man I once knew, the one who put everyone else before himself, the one who never got mad. You are different, and unless I can see that old Jasper, the one I once knew, then we are over for good." Alice said looking down at him.

Jasper yanked his head out of his hands. "My wife left me, that's what happened." He stood up walking to the window, looking outside. "When you left, I changed. I didn't know.....what the hell I was doing. I didn't know where my life was going anymore." He turned around and looked at her. "I'm sorry if I'm not the man you remember. But people change. Mine just happened to fuck up my life." |

"Well I don't like the person who you have become, and I don't want to be with the person you have become." Alice said coming down the stairs. "And I didn't leave YOU, I left because of Crystal. I just couldn't be around her anymore and thats why I left." She said as she came closer to him.

Why do you think I had a shitty life when I was with Maria all those years ago?" He sighed. "She never once told me she loved me. And I was under the impression that she did because of the way she acted towards me. When over a hundred years later, I left her and met you, my life turned around. Alice got closer to Jasper. "I still love you Jasper, but not in the way you want me to love you. My heart as found someone new and I can't help that. Sometimes you can't control you emotions, I know thats hard for you to understand, but it's true. I met Evan and well he is really everything you used to be. I fell for him and I can't help that." Alice said looking down, she knew that what she just said was going to hurt Jasper more than anything else.

Jasper knew this already. All he could do was look at the ground. "Well I'm sorry." He paused and after a moment, said, "I hope he makes you happy." He walked past her as he spotted Veronica eavesdropping on them. He gave her a look and she quickly left. |

Alice turned around and watched Jasper go. "He does make me happy." She said following him. "I want us to still be friends Jasper, like I said I still love you." Alice said as she chased after him. "Jasper will you please stop and listen to me?" She asked him.

Jasper stopped. "I'm sorry," he said. He turned his head. "I can't be just friends with you." Turning it back he walked to the glass door and stopped, putting his hand on it, looking outside into the forest. His heart was pounding so fast, it was abnormal. |

Alice went and put her hands on Jaspers back. "Things may seem hard now but they will get better. I promise." She said in a soft voice to him. "I will always be here for you, Jasper." She said looking out the window.
