Looking for her twin [Jasper]

[Rosalie Hale]

Rosalie needed to talk to her twin. She was mad and the rest of the family and needed to be with him and talk to him. Rosalie had always been the closest to Jasper, beside Alice that is. But lately with everything that had been going on she hadn't had alot of time to spend with him. Now she really needed to talk to him before it was to late.

Rosalie hated that Jasper was wanting to leave but she understood why. She only hoped that she could talk some sense in to him. Rosalie did not want to lose her twin. Rosalie walked to Jasper's room and knocked lightly on the door. "Jazz, may I come in. I really need to talk to you?" She said in the loving sisterly voice that she almost always talked to her twin in.

Rosalie was planning on trying to convince him to stay because she knew that he still loved Alice and that he should fight for what he loved. Besides what was Evan to her. He was not her twin. Rose stood at the door and waited for Jasper to answer her.

[Alice Cullen]

Jasper was in his and Alice's bathroom standing over the sink trying to relax himself. He breathed slow, deep breaths and splashed water on his face. It relaxed him, and he wasn't sure if it was because the water was hot, or just because he willed it to relax him.

When he heard Rosalie, his head snapped up. Grabbing a towel, he wipped his face off and walked out into the room. Rosalie was waiting outside the door. He opened it to see his twin sister. "Hey Rose. What's up?" he asked provocatively.

Rose stood at the door when Jasper opened it. When he asked her what was up she almost burst into a long rant at her twin but she didn't. She just looked at him and asked, " Can I come in? I need to talk to you, brother." Rose was still a little upset that he hadn't told her about the twins but she knew that he had alot on his mind.

She walked into the room and went over to the bed and sat down with her legs crossed in front of her. She thought about how to start and finally decided to just come out and say what was on her mind. "Jasper, I don't think that you are making the right decision in leaving. I understand that Lexie doesn't want you to help with the twins, and that is fine with me, but she can leave." Rose was trying hard not to let the old Rose come out with Jasper, she did not want to push her brother away. After all she was on his side. "I know that is not the only reason that you are leaving, but you are not thinking straight, my brother. I know that you still love, Alice. If you want her back then you are going to have to stay and fight of her." Rose was not sure that Jasper wanted Alice back but she was guessing that he did. She know her twin pretty well. "Besides, if you leave then I won't have my twin to talk to." She said letting him know how much she wanted him to stay.

Rose knew that the rest of the family was upset with Jasper and she did not agree with them. Rose and Bella had already had a falling out over the way that she was acting all high and mighty. Rose was going to defend her twin even if is caused prooblems with her and Emmett. "Jazz, you know that I will stand behind what ever decision and you make, but I really don't want to lose my twin. We have been living as twins of almost a century now and in most was I think of you that way. I don't want to live with out you in my life. You will always be my twin. We can get through this together if you stay." Rose finally stopped and looked at her brother waiting for him to respond to her. She was not sure if any thing she said would make a difference, but she was hoping that it would.

[Alice Cullen]

Jasper let Rose in and waited for her to speak. When she brought up him leaving he groaned and said, "Not you too!" Why was everyone so against him leaving. They all act like he's the worst fucking human being on the planet, but yet, they all want him around to take responsibility for something he had no control over. He listened to Rose impassively. He took in account everything she had to say.

"Rose I appreciate everything you're trying to do.....but the whole family hates me and Alice will never come back to me because she claims I've changed. And you know what? She right! She's absolutely right! I can never go back to who I was. Not now. I have to leave. I'm sorry."

[Rosalie Hale]

Rose knew that Jasper was right and that he had changed but that didn't matter to her, he was still her twin. She that he needed time to heal because he was hurting. She could see it and knew him to well. She would have to deal with missing her brother of a while. She listened to him and then spoke in a very calm tone that was unusual for her. "Jasper my dear brother. If you need time then take the time that you need. I am on your side always and I will be here for you. I don't care if you take responsiblity of those kids or not. All I want is to not lose my brother, me twin." She stood up from the bedd and walked over to him. Rose had alway loved her brother, but he needed to know that now. She wrapped her arms around him and gave him a hug. In a wuite voice she said, "Just promise to keep in touch with me no matter where you go. I understand if you never want to return here, I will come to you if I have to." She let go of him and walked back to the door and was about to leave.

[Alice Cullen]

Jasper hugged Rosalie, rubbing her back. "I promise. I will always keep in touch with you. But that is the most I can promise." When Rose let go of him, he said, "Hold on Rose." He ran into the closet, looking for something. It was sort of his farewell gesture.

Rose stopped at the door when Jasper asked her to wait. She watched as he ran into the closet and wondered what he was doing. Rose was going to miss her twin and would cry if she could. She was so mad at the rest of the family for running him off. She wanted to break something. Rose knew that this was a bad thing and could feel her control slipping. She would need to take a walk in the woods to clear her mind soon. "What is it that you are looking for?" She asked her brother.

[Alice Cullen]

Jasper opened a smaller closet in the back of the big closet where he and Alice used to keep their photo albums. "Used to" as in they still did, but because they were not getting back together, it would be where Alice kept whatever she chose. He opened a photo album up from back in the '60's when Jasper and Alice had first met the Cullens. He pulled out a picture of him and Rose together to symobolize that they were brother and sister. Emmett had taken it.

Walking back out, he held the photo out to Rose. "This. Do you remember this photo? Back when we first met?" he asked hopefully.

Rose saw the photo of them together from way back when and knew it instantly. She smiled at Jasper and laughed her bell laugh lightly. "Of course I remember it Jazz, I am a vampire after all." She looked at the picture and at how they looked together standing there side by side. "You know we really do look like twins." She said to him while looking at the picture. She would miss have more of those days with him. With the wedding and everything, they hadn't had much time together and now he was leaving. She wanted to cry, but knew that was never going to happen. She simply settled for mourning the loss of her brother the only way she could. "Jasper, this house will not be the same with out you. I will miss you." She said again and she turned that left the room before the pain she felt was too much to hide and he felt it. She did not want to make him fell any worse for doing what he had to do.

[Alice Cullen]

Jasper laughed when she did about the photo. "Yeah, we really do." Then he went back to gloomy and it made him the same way. "I know Rose. But I can't stay here anymore without Alice breaking my heart anymore. I will always love you sister." Then Rose left and Jasper turned around to go back to the window.
