[Edward/Bella/Rose/Emmett/Open] Counting Down

[Bella Cullen]

Bella finished sewing up Alexandra's uterus and abdomen, cleaning it off and placing a bandage over the stitches. Alexandra was going to be intensely sore for a few weeks, but Bella knew that they would heal just fine. At least she was able to deliver the twins without incidence and Alexandra was able to retain her humanity, just as Bella promised she would try and do. After cleaning up, she went over to a nearby sink and washed her own hands off and dried them on a close towel.

While finishing up putting away things, she overheard Jasper and Alexandra naming their children. They used analgomies, just as Bella had done with her own daughter. Turning around, she walked over to Jasper. "May I hold one?" she asked sincerely.

[Alice Cullen]

Jasper smiled and said, "Of course." He held Edmmett out to her, making sure she had him before he removed his arms. Then he turned to Alexandra and whispered in her ears, asking her a question. When she nodded, Jasper turned back and said, "Bella, Edward. If you would accept it, we would like you to be Rosabella's godparents. And Rosalie and Emmett, we'd like you to be Edmmett's."

[Bella Cullen]

Bella took the sweet baby boy into her arms, looking down into his green eyes. A sense of nostalgia overwhelmed her as it was like seeing Renesmee all over again for the first time. Edmmett was such a sweet baby boy. She knew that despite the circumstances that brought these children into the world, they were a part of this family.

Looking back at Jasper, she answered his question, "I would be honored to be Rosabella's godmother. They're both beautiful Jasper."

[Edward Cullen]

Edward watched as Bella made the incision in Lexie's abdomen and was remembering Nessie's birth. When Bella announced that the first was a girl, Edward smiled and thought another granddaughter for Esme to love. When Bella turned to him to take the child he started to move then he heard Jasper and he stepped back. Edward knew that feeling of seeing your child for the first time. Edward then watched as Bella delivered the second child a healthy baby boy. He thought to himself, now Esme has two granddaughter and two grandson's, he knew that his mother would be over joyed to have the babies in her life.

When Jasper and Lexie announced the names of the babies, he laughed. They were perfect for this family. Edward was honored from Edmmett to be named after him. "Thank you for that." He said to Jasper and Lexie. It was a privilege after the tension that had been between them. When Jasper asked for him and Bella to be Rosabella's godparents he felt a certain tug at his heart. "It would be my honor, to be her god father." Edward said as he moved next to Bella and put his arm around her waist while she held Eddie in her arms. He was reminded again of her holding their daughter. He kissed her on the top of her head and smiled down at Eddie in her arms. "Hello there, Eddie and welcome to the family." He said sincerely.

[Rosalie Hale]

Rose was standing just behind and to the side of Jasper for through the whole delivery. She was there in case her twin needed her for any thing. She watched as Bella delivered each of the twins. She was so happy for her brother. After the baby girl was born and Jasper took her in his arms, Rose reached up to touch his shoulder and smile at him. After her nephew was born, Rose watched as Jasper beamed at his son.

When Jasper and Lexie announced their names, Rose was touched she put her hand over her heart and knew that if she could she would have been crying. "Oh Jasper and Lexie. Thank you so much, for naming her after me." She said as she moved closer to her twin to look at his twins. She was standing at his side when he asked her and Emmett to be Eddie's godparents. She looked at him with all the tenderness in the world and hugged her twin. "I would absolutely love to be his godmother." She said as she released her twin from the hug. She then turned to Lexie and smiled. "Thank you for that." She said to Lexie.

[Emmett Cullen]

Emmett was there throughout the whole delivery. He wouldn't miss it for anything, like he didn't for Nessie, now he had two nieces and one nephew...which was great for him and the whole family. The newborn twins were absolute adorable, healthy and happy. Though the girl caught his attention at first, because she had beautiful blond hair like his Rosalie. Of course no one can be compared to his Rosalie. Overall he loved the twins, they were precious in every way. It was Jasper's first kids and new father. He knows that Jasper will do great as a father.

Just as he heard what they named the twins, he grinned. He loved the girl's name, Rosabella. Emmet could see that Rosabella would be like Rosalie and Bella with Lexie in it. And Edmmett...well he was going to be like little mischievous but sweet. He looked at Edmmett as he was in Bella's arms then he looked at Rosabella. "Who are they going to stay with?" Emmett didn't know where the twins were going to stay, since Jasper was going to Seattle, but either way, he's going to he happy for Lexie and Jasper, along with the most beautiful twins. When Jasper asked Rosalie and him to be Edmmett's Godparents, he was honored to be his Godparent. "I'd love to be his godparent, Jasper." Emmett turned to look at Lexie as he walked over next to her and kissed Rosabella's forehead then smiled at Lexi. "May I hold her?" He asked before taking Rosabella in his arms. "She's beautiful. Hey there, Rosie." Emmett looked at Rosalie to come to his side and look at the beautiful girl he's holding.

[Alice Cullen]

Jasper and Alexandra watched as their godparents held them in their arms. It was so wonderful to see them almost like when Renesmee was born. Jasper answered Emmett.

"They're staying with Lexie. I'm going to Seattle and I'll take them whenever I feel the need to be fatherly." Lexie giggled at him and he continued. "I'll be around when I can stand it."

Alexandra nodded. "And on that note, I have to pee." She jumped off of the table and walked out. Jasper laughed.
