[This is after Rosabella and Edmmett are born] Jasper sat in his and Alice's room for the last time. He had been in awe over his son and daughter, but he needed to leave. This was his last time at the house for a while. He had no intentions of coming back.
It broke his heart so much because he had given into Alice's demands to get a divorce. This was something he never though he would experience. It killed him.
So, he decided to play the radio game. He turned the radio on and scrolled though the channels and stopped when Lonely Love Song from Spectacular! was starting. This was just what he was going through right now. He sang along with it, even the girls part.
"I hear. That song. And I can still picture us. Not sure where we went wrong. Maybe love isn't always enough. I missing you that's all I know. I'll be better off this way. Yeah. I'm listening to the radio and I see your face. What's a lonely love song? A song that's sad but true. Words and melodies that keeps reminding me of you. What's a lonely love song. It's just a long goodbye. Voices on the radio make me wonder where you are tonight." |

Alice had been into Seattle to meet with a lawyer and have divorce papers drawn up, she had just gotten home when she smelled Jasper upstairs in their old room. The babies had been born, however Alice did not have the heart to see them. She ran upstairs and opened the door to her old room. As she walked in she saw Jasper. "Hey." She said closing the door behind her. She listened to the song that was playing on the radio. "Kinda sad isn't it?" She asked with a small giggle, hoping Jasper would smile. Alice still wanted to be friends and stay in each others lifes.

Jasper turned around as Alice spoke, a little embarassed. He continued to sing in his head. He looked down. "Uh....yeah. I guess." Like, for real. This song is the fucking pain I'm going through, he thought. It broke his heart to see her smile and hear her laugh. He just wanted to get this over with so he could leave. |

Alice hated seeing Jasper in pain. "We can still be friends Jasper." Alice said as she walked over to the bed and placed her bag down on the top on it. "This isn't the end of the world, I will always be here for you." She said as she walked over to him. She looked up at him. "And I hear you have two amazing children now. Bella told me they were cute as a button." She said smiling up at him, she hoped that talking about the children would make him smile.

Hearing about Rosabella and Edmmett, Jasper couldn't help but smile. "Yeah," he said, still looking down. "Rosabella Leigh and Edmmett Andrew. They're not taking too well to drinking blood. I do even think they're half vampire." He chuckled to himself. Then the smiled faded. |

Alice smiled even bigger when she saw Jasper smile and how he talked about the babies. "I'm sure they will learn to love it." Alice giggled. She then looked over at her bag that was sitting on the bed, she knew what was in there. She stopped smiling and looked back at Jasper. "I got them." She said in a soft voice, she then looked down at the floor.

Jasper nodded three times, still looking at the floor. He reached into his shirt pocket and pulled out a pen. "Let's get this over with." He glanced back up quickly. But before you do, I just need a minute.
He ran over to the radio and pulled his iPod in. He needed to finish the song outloud and it was already over on the radio. "You don't have to listen if you don't want to. This is for my person sanity." He hit PLAY then PAUSE on the song then fast forwarded to the second verse. He started to sing, not too loud though.
"The love. Was gone. I tried to convince myself, but I hear. That song. Oh and I'm not doing too well. If I could start all over again, I'd never let you go. Everytime I try to forget it comes on the radio. What's a lonely love song? A song that's sad but true. Oh the words and melodies that keep reminding me of you. What's a lonely love song? It's just a long goodbye. Voices on the radio make me wonder where you are tonight. I try to move on. But I don't know how to. I try to act strong. It's no use. Something's always there to remind me. A photograph that takes me back. Overcome by all the memories that I still have if we just had a second chance. What's a lonely love song? A song that's sad but true. When he finished up, he unplugged his iPod and turned back around eyes closed. "Okay. I'm ready. Let's get this over with." |

Alice watched as Jasper put his ipod in and turned the song on. When he was done and turned back to look at her Alice nodded. "Alright." She said and walked back over to her purse and pulled out the papers. She then walked over to Jasper. "You just need to sign here and here." She said pointing at two spots on the page. "And then once more here." She said turning the page over and showing him the last spot. "And that's it." She said handing the papers over to him.

Jasper took the papers and looked at them. Seeing his name on those papers was like a nightmare he'd always dreamt of having. It reminded him of when he left Maria.
Jasper clicked the top of then pen and signed his name in the spots where Alice directed. Then he looked up at her, clicking the pen back in and threw the papers aside on the bed. "There. You got what you want. Congratulations." He put the pen back in his pocket and said, "Now, if you'll excuse me. I have to go. My bus leaves in twenty minutes." |

Alice took the papers back and looked at them, she had still not signed the papers yet herself. Then when Jasper turned to leave Alice grabbed his arm. "Wait, just for a second." She said. She then went a stood in front of him. "I still love you. Always know that." She said with his hands in hers and looking up into his eyes.

Jasper didn't make eye contact with her. He just nodded. He took her hands and gently ripped her grip off of his face. "You really shouldn't touch me like that anymore." He walked around her and out the door. He headed downstairs. It seemed empty down there without Alexandra in there resting, but he knew she was at the cottage, probably playing with the kids. Jasper walked out the door after grabbing his bags and threw them into the car. He opened the drivers side door and just looked back at the house, a lot of noatalgia running through him. |

Alice ran down the stairs following after Jasper. Once she way in the garage she stopped. "Jasper please." She begged him. "Please don't leave like this. Please, Jasper, please." Alice feel to her knees, she was weak. Her little body couldn't hold her up anymore. "Please" She said in soft voice, almost a whimper.

Jasper shook his head at Alice's plea. "I can't look at you anymore without my heart breaking. And this is what's best for me. I'm sorry." Jasper slid into the car and backed out, driving off quickly. When he made it to the bus station, he just sat in the car, putting his face in his hands, trying to cry, but couldn't. |

Alice watched as Jasper drove off. She wished it didn't have to end like it did, but Alice couldn't help that. She thought back on all the time her and Jasper had spent together, the good times and the bad. About how they had met, and their trip to the Cullens, she thought about it all. And as she sat there on her knees watching as Jasper pulled away, Alice could swear she felt a tear roll down her cheek.
