Description: Nathaniel is an attractive man, standing at just over six-feet tall with dark hair that used to match his chocolate eyes from his human days. Now his eyes are a deep crimson, as he is a vampire. In addition to his eyes, his skin is pale white. His features are very definied and chisled, like stone.

Background/History: Nathaniel James Pierce was born on December 5, 1600 in London, England to his well endowed parents Henry and Elizabeth Pierce. He was their first and only child that lived, followed by two stillborn sisters. As a child, Nate was very unselfish and was taught to be polite and courteous to everyone he encountered, a lesson he took to heart early. From around school-age, he took fascination to literature, particularly plays. At the age of fourteen, he was fortunate enough to meet the great playwrite William Shakespeare, an encounter he never forgot as it was one of the most influencial people he ever met.
By the time Nathaniel was twenty-one years old, he had graduated college and was about to start his own career as a writer himself when a late night encounter with an unscrupulous character left him for dead in a London alley. When he woke three days later, he was not the same man he was before. Everything was different. Suddenly, he craved blood and had no idea why. Soon enough, he found out what he really was...a vampire. So disgusted by what he had become, he fled England to other parts of Europe, only feeding when he absolutely needed to and finding the most unruly man he could find to pick off from society. He lived that way for nearly three centuries until he decided to leave for America.
Arriving around 1935 or so, he began to make his way around the states, writing as he went about the things he saw and the people he observed. It was a time of poetry for Nate as he began his life anew in the U.S. He was alone and didn't care...until he came to the tiny town of Forks, Washington...
Personality: Nate is the kind of person that will go out of his way to help someone. Even if he is a vampire, he still has a conscious and a heart, which is why he has never once killed a woman or a child. He was raised to be a gentleman, and thus he is. He is considerate and always takes whomever he is talking to into account, so not to offend them or cause an unneccessary scene.
