Right after she had gotten a text from Jacob about pack meeting at his house, she was debating on going to the meeting; where the house would be packed with shape-shifters. Delilah was almost eight months pregnant with twins, and taking a risk, which she wanted to, would be either good or bad for her. As soon as Noah came through the door with her ice cream and left, she knew that he didn't want her there at Jacob's house nor Jacob will allow that either. Everyone would be at the pack meeting, leaving her at the house, eating ice cream. Noah can’t expect her to be at the house the whole day nor can’t she stay at the house either. It was just too much for her. She just needed fresh air, go into town and just enjoy herself.
Yeah, she was asking too much even making Noah mad if she left the house all by herself. Can you blame her? She was just tired of everything, needed get out and get enjoy the weather while it was still nice. Delilah was wearing her usual, maternity pant and white top with black Pointelle Sweater. She took a pen and paper, wrote a note to Noah on where she was headed and placed it on the phone.
Noah, I’m going to Seattle for a while. Before you get mad at me, which you won’t, I doubt that, I just needed to get away from the house for while. Call me or text me as soon as you read this note. There are leftovers in the fridge in case you get hungry. Love, Del.
Once Delilah was out of the house, she drove to Seattle, which it didn’t take that long…about forty-five minutes. She parked her car in front of a book store, got out and went inside looking for a book. She wasn’t looking for specific book, she was just looking around in case if she found a book might gave caught her eyes. outfit

Noah came home from the pack meeting, expecting Delilah to be home. When he walked through the door, he called out "Del? Baby, I'm home!" There was no reply. Immediately, his throat seized in worry that something could have happened to her and the twins. He searched the whole house and didn't find her. Then he saw the note she had left on the phone. Squinting in irritation, he pulled out his phone and hit the speed-dial with her number. When he got her voice-mail, he left a message. "Baby, I know you're probably driving or something, but when you get this message...call me. I don't like that you went by yourself. That worries me. Please call me as soon as you get this."
He flipped his phone shut and sat down on the couch to wait for her phone call.

A book had caught her eyes, it was little kids...nursery rhymes that her mom used to tell her. It was there word by word, filling her with good memories that she had with her mom every night when she was a kid. Soon over, Delilah was lost in the book, didn't even hear her phone ringing in her purse. Once she was gone with the book, she placed it where she had found it and took her phone out to see if Noah had called. To her surprise he did call, and left a message. Before she would call him, she checked the voicemail, hearing his mad voice in it.
Delilah sighed, she walked out of store and called Noah. When she heard someone answer the phone after first ring she waited for an answer but nothing. "Noah, I'm fine don't worry about me. And how come you're home this early? I thought the meeting was going to be long. I'm sorry about going on my own." She said in calm voice, so that Noah calms down. If he has more anger in him, he's going to phase where ever he was in the house.
