Faith sat up high in a tree in the Forks forest, looking down below her at her surroundings. The thing that sucked about being half and half was the fact that if you fed on vampire or werewolf, you were considered a traitor. The advantage was she was stronger than both species together. She loved that.
Crouching in the tree was uncomfortable to say the least. She wore a peach halter top and jeans and her favorite pair of boots. It was amazing, but wearing those boots and crouching didn't mix. She would have to trade the boots in for tennis shoes eventually.
She wondered if Renesmee Cullen had said anything to her father about her. She knew Renesmee didn't trust her, but that was beside the point. Faith had an advantage that not many vampires, much less hybrids, had. She could control pheremones and with that, Edward woud be right under her belt. |

Edward was in the forest taking a walk while the girls talked about the wedding. Edward needed time to think because he was thinking about asking Bella to Marry him again. It had been thirty years since their first wedding and it was about time to do it again. Edward was just as in love with Bella now as he was in the beginning. Edward was walking slowly through the forest when he caught a strange thought. He smiled to himself as he listened to this girl try to figure out how to trap him and make him forget about Bella with her pheromones. Edward knew that nothing could ever smell as good as Bella did to him. Edward also heard that she had already met Nessie and that Nessie did not trust her. That made Edward smile, his daughter was alot like him.
Edward altered his course just to see who this girl was and what was up with her. He took a large breath and held it as it would be his last for awhile. He was not taking any chances with the girl. He knew that her name was Faith and that she was a half breed of sorts, but he did not know her full power yet. He was not going to underestimate her until he knew her mind better. Edward was glad that most did not know that he was a mind reader. It definitely had its advantages.
As Edward approached the tree that she was in he just stopped and pretended that he did not know that she was there. He leaned up against a near by tree and pretended to daydream. The whole time he was listened to her thoughts and waiting for her to show herself.

Faith eventually picked up a scent that was familiar. It made her eyes literally rolls back into her head. She knew this scent. It was too familiar. It was that of Edward Cullen. She was happy to be smelling this scent. His scent. But where was it coming from?
She looked around her, standing up in full on the tree branch. He was no where far because she didn't see him. He must've been close. She looked below her and nothing. She looked behind her and.....Edward. She smiled deviously to herself. "Hello there," she called, slyly. |

Edward smiled as the girl spoke to him. Using just a little of his air he answered back. "Oh, hello." He was listening to her mind closely trying for figure her out. He knew that she wanted him, but he was not sure why. Edward knew that everyone in the vampire community knew that he and Bella were the royal couple and that they could not be broken up.
As he looked up at her in the tree, he tilted his head to the side. He was waiting for her to make her move. Edward was more confident and spoke again to her. "I am Edward Cullen. Who are you?"

Faith jumped out of the tree landing swiftly and straight up, not leaning forward upon hitting the ground. She stared directly at him. "I know who you are Edward Cullen. I am Faith Madison." She blew out of her mouth subtley so Edward wouldn't notice, transferring some of her pheremones to him. This should enhance his levels. No one or nothing could resist it. |

Edward was still not breathing and was reading her thoughts as she introduced herself. He was trying very hard not to laugh at her. As she blew her pheromones at him, he just smiled. She was not very smart about things. If she knew who he was then she should know that he was devoted to his wife, Bella. "It is nice to meet you Faith, but you can stop trying to seduce me. It will not work on me. Bella is my one true love. You could never smell as good as she does to me." He said to her. Edward was getting tried of the charade with the girl. He was reading her mind and knew what she was trying to do.

Faith was a bit shocked. He eyes widened. No one had ever been immune to her pheremones before. It just wasn't possible. "Well, we'll just see about that." This time, she passed them out her nose, because obviously the mouth wasn't working. She would get to him. No one was immune to her power. It was impossible! |

Edward heard Faith and the determination in her voice. Edward was not worried on the least, he did not need to breathe, but he knew that as she was not going to give up easily. Edward also knew that Bella was his soul mate and that no one could smell as good to him. He was completely devoted to his wife and he always would be. Edward knew what is was like to live without Bella and he would never to that again.
Edward knew that Faith was getting pissed by the fact that he was immune to her charms. When he heard her thought, and watched as her exhaled through her nose. He could not contain his self any more. He exhaled the air that was left in his lungs and burst into laughter. "You really are full of your self aren't you?" Edward asked in between gulps of air, he was laughing so hard. "For a half breed you really don't know anything. As vegetarian vampires, our desires are different. We mate for life, and it would talk a hell of a lot more that a child with so pheromones to change my mind about my wife." Edward said getting serious now and a little pissed with the girl.
Edward started to turn to walk away, and then turned back to her. "You should set you sights on someone who is not already in love with their one and only mate." He said to her and then add, "And if you know what is good for you, I suggest that you leave me and my family alone. My wife does not take to kindly to other women trying to steal me. As I do not keep anything from her, as soon as I get home she will know and will want you dead." Edward turned then and walked back to the mansion to find his Bella and tell her everything.
Edward knew that he had not seen the last of Faith though, but he had proven that he was immune to her. In all the years that he and Bella had been together, it was always him that was jealous of the way that other thought of her. He had never wanted anyone other than her and that would never change. Bella was the only woman for Edward. That would have been obvious to this girl if she had the slightest idea of who Edward really was. As Edward walked to the house he almost felt sorry for the girl.

Faith was so stunned about her failed attempts. Was Edward her only limitation!? She couldn't believe it. Even when he spoke to her, he was determined. But she chose to ignore his words. Bella could not kill her. Nothing could. She was immortal and half and half. If she killed her, then she was killing part of a relationship with her precious werewolves. Faith decided enough was enough. She jumped back up in the tree, and ran away, needing to make a Plan B. |
