Jasper's last few hours hadn't been pleasant and it was mainly due to the fact that Alice was pissed off at him for siding with Crystal. Now, since "taking her side", he had to hide his true feelings, which would be hard for him because he wanted to be there for Crystal, no matter what Alice thought or not.
He sat on his and Alice's bed in the room. Of course, they never used it and the last time they had it had been a few years ago. Jasper and Alice were nothing like Emmett and Rosalie. Their relationship was very platonic, which was odd for a married couple. The fact that they would live forever played a factor in that.
Looking at his wedding ring, Jasper sighed. He wasn't having regrets, but wondered what had gotten him here. Certainly Maria, because she had been responsible for his eternal life, but he wondered what had gotten him here to this very moment.
He was absolutely clueless. |

Alice ran up the stairs to bag her bags, she had made the choice to leave Forks and the Cullen family for awhile and go do other things. Once she got to the door of her room she got the feeling that someone was in there. She slowly opened the door and saw Jasper sitting on the bed, he was the last person she wanted to see at this time. "Hi" She said with out looking at him and went straight for the closet.

Jasper looked up upon hearing Alice's voice breaking into his thoughts. She'd said hi to him and ran into the closet. Jasper stood up and followed her inside. "What are you doing?" he asked. As if he didn't already know, but he thought she'd made the decision to stay. Not to leave. He'd taken her side and and for what!? Nothing? |

Alice was surprised that Jasper followed her into the closet. "What does it look like?" She asked him as she grabbed one of her larger suitcases. "I'm going away." She said without looking at him. She started to grab clothes and shoes and throw them in her bag.

Though he wasn't surpsied, Jasper's eyes widened out of natural insitinct and his mouth dropped. "Wha--" he started. "A-Alice." He was just in total shock, though he'd been excepting this moment. "You can't be made at me Alice. I'm sorry but I can't help how I feel." He wanted to touch her but at the same time he didn't think he could stomach it. |

Alice turned to Jasper in anger. "You think I'm leaving just because of you?" She snapped at him and then turned back to pack more. "I'm mostly leaving because of Crystal, you're just a small part of it." Alice said turning around and pushing Jasper out of the way and heading towards the bathroom to grab some things from in there to take with her.

Alice had never pushed Jasper before like that and it made him feel like he'd just ruined everything they had. He couldn't believe it. To him, everything they'd ever worked for was gone in that moment. "So, what you're saying is that I'm guilty by association?"

Alice just wanted to get out of the room as fast as show could. "What?" She said looking at him. "I never said that, now your putting words in my mouth." She had grabbed what she needed to from the bathroom and headed back over to her bag.

Jasper was so angry at this point that he couldn't help but yell at her. "YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO!" he shouted. "JUST YOU LEAVING IS PROOF ENOUGH FOR ME. YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO PHYSICALLY SPEAK IT! YOU SAID IT WITH YOUR ACTIONS!" His eyes were turning black and the angst inside of him burned his heart. |

Alice rolled her eyes at Jasper. "If you say so." She said as she pulled out another bag and started to put clothes in that one as well. "Jasper I love you and always will. Just right now I need to go away." She said turning to him and giving him and loving look.

Jasper was so upset that he picked the closets thing up--a lamp--and threw it at the wall. It shattered right beside Alice. He groaned, psychotically and turned around, running away, jumping outside of the window. He ran far into the woods, not really sure where he was going. |

Alice just turned away and sighed after Jasper ran off, The lamp had scared her but she had gotten used to Jasper throwing things and not being able to talk about him problems. It was one of the reasons Alice was getting away.
