Edward knew that Bella was probably right, but he also knew what Nessie was feeling. "I think that you are right, love. However, I think that Rose should go with you. Nessie is mad and hurt because she thinks that Emmett cheated on Rose. I think Rose is the only one that can explain what happened to Nessie, and Nessie listen to her." Edward said to Bella.

Maden wrapped his arms around Emmett's neck and rested his head on his shoulder. He didn't want any of these to happen nor did he want to see Nessie sad. As everyone assured him, he still wasn't happy or smiled. He wanted to go out somewhere away from there for a moment. "Can I please go somewhere else?" He asked in low voice to his mom and dad. He didn't know what happened before he came along but pretty much guessed that it wasn't nice.

Bella understood what Edward was telling her, but she still knew that somehow Rosalie was one of the last people Renesmee wanted to talk to right then. But, she wasn't going to argue with her husband over something stupid like that right at the moment when there were bigger problems they were facing. Her heart told her that Renesmee was not going to come around easily either.
Edward, I know our daughter and she will not come around easily. She is every bit as stubborn as I always have been and has your temper. So, unless Jake is a miracle worker, I doubt she'll be talking to any of us for a while, she said, lowering her shield.
Hearing little Maden's plea for his parents to take him somewhere else away from the conflict, she saw so much of her daughter in him. Renesmee hated conflict herself, which partially stemmed from the fact that there was so much surrounding her birth and existence right at the beginning. Bella could not help but adore this little boy, despite how he entered the world.
"Maden, why don't we go down to my house? I think I have some toys and stuff you might like," she suggested, turning towards him. She knew that there were still some toys left over from when Renesmee was a little child that he could play with, none of which were particularly girlie either.

Edward knew that Bella was right about Nessie and heard her when she lowered her shield. He didn't want to upset Maden anymore that he already was so Edward just simply nodded to Bella. He knew that after all their time together, she would know that he was agreeing with her.

Emmett knew what Nessie is going through and doesn't blame her nor he blames Maden for coming into their lives. Maden is the second best thing that happened after he meet Rosalie. He wanted Maden not to deal with the any of the problems in the future. He heard what Edward said to both him and Maden and nodded. "It'll be best if Nessie has her time alone for a day or so. I don't want her to be mad at me for cheating on Rosalie...." He stopped talking when he realized that he has a child in his arms. "...We'll talk about it later when he's asleep." Emmett said to Edward, Bella, and Rosalie.
Hearing Maden's low voice, he couldn't agree more with it. He's not going to leave Maden alone when he's awake. When Bella offered that he could go at the cottage and play with the toys that used to Nessie's. Emmett smiled at Bella and hugged her. "Thanks Bella. He just needs to be a kid and not deal with the situation right now." He whispered in her ear and left the mansion with Maden in his arms.
"Where do you want to go shopping?" He asked changing the subject as he made his way to the cottage. Once he reached the cottage, he opened the door and went inside, setting Maden down on the ground as he closed the door. "Why don't you stay here for a minute while I go find some toys for you to play with. Okay?" Emmett didn't want to leave his son alone for a moment but had to. He went in Nessie's room to see if she has any toys in there. Luckily, he found two little cars and a teddy bear. He walked back to Maden smiling and set the toys on the floor. "Come on, let's play." Emmett said in cheerful voice.

Maden smiled at Bella before Emmett was out the door and went to the cottage. Before he could close his eyes, they reached the cottage and was inside in no time. He walked to the chair and sat down as Emmett went to get some toys for him to play. He looked at the small yet beautiful cottage that had pictures of Bella, Edward, and Nessie on the wall.
He sat down on the floor in front of his dad once he returned with cars and teddy bear. He took the teddy bear and went to Emmett's lap. Maden placed his head against his chest with teddy bear in his arm and closed his eyes. "I love you daddy." He whispered as he fell asleep.

After Emmett left with Maden Esmestayed at the house waiting for Carlisle. Hearing what Edward said about Renesmee, Esme began to think. She sort of had an Idea on how Renesmee felt, One she did not know anything about Rose and Emmett brief split. The other thought that crossed Esme mind was that as soon as Renesmee was almost 'out the door' here comes little Maden, maybe she felt Maden wad talking her place int he family.
The emotional she had felt before when she was talking to Carlise on the phone was beginning to dissipate it seemed like Maden arrival the same time as Bella and Renesmee was not as good as Esme thought. Esme felt like she should talk to Renesmee, after Jacob but she did not want to come out and say it. Esme Has been though much in her life, but instead she just sighed a bit and stat down on the sofa waiting for Carlise to return.

Edward heard what Emmett said about talking later and agreed with a nod. Edward knew that there was alot that needed to be explained. Edward would wait for Emmett to tell him the whole story. Edward watched as Emmett took Maden to the cottage for find some of Nessie's old toys. Edward was standing next to Bella and knew that they needed to talk about how their daughter acted and what they were going to do about her. "Bella love, we need to discuss things alone." He said softly to her.

Bella watched as Maden and Emmett left for the cottage, knowing that the toys would distract the little one for a while from the family drama going down right at that moment. After Maden was out of the room, Bella began to think of how Renesmee had acted. It was so out of character for her daughter to react that way and that worried Bella. Hearing Edward's voice in her ear, she knew he was right.
"Yes, we do need to talk alone," she agreed. "But where?"

Edward thought about where to talk to Bella at. They need some where that they could truly be alone and there was only one place that Edward could think of. It was their place, it was the meadow that was so special to them. "I can only think of one place that we can truly be alone. Shall we go there for now to talk?" Edward knew that Bella would never turn down a trip to the meadow, no matter what the reason in going was.

"Let's go," she whispered, taking his hand.
They quickly excused themselves from the rest of the family and were out the door in less than thirty seconds, running towards the meadow. It was their place and the only one in the world where they would be able to be truly alone to talk about what was going on in their family and why their daughter was acting why she was.

Rose had been quite for a while now and was watching her family. She heard everything between Edward, Emmett, and Bella. She watched as Emmett took Maden to the cottage, and as Ed and Bella decided to go someplace to talk. She decided finally that she would go to the cottage with Emmett and Maden and then maybe go shopping with them.

Emmett made a big mistake by leaving Rosalie and having a affair with a human. He wasn't thinking well at the moment when it happened. He wished to go back in time to fix everything, if he can and make things right. Nothing should have happened when Maden came into their lives. I'm so sorry, everyone. I shouldn't have cheated on Rosalie and I shouldn't been in the situation. And I don't want my son to suffer on the mistake that I made years ago. He thought to himself as Maden fell asleep in his arms and heard what he said. "I love you too, son." He said as he stood up not waking Maden up and sat down on the couch with Maden in his arms.
He sighed as he looked at the wall, thinking on what Nessie would be thinking of him. Emmett didn't want anything to happen to his family, since they suffered with Crystal being there, Alice leaving, Will still being out there on the loose, and now Maden.
