Bella smiled as Rose brought her closer to Maden, who was sitting in Emmett's lap. The little boy was quite adorable and reminded her very much of Renesmee when she was young. Flashes of the beautiful baby girl she had given birth to came to mind when Bella looked at Maden. Slowly, she picked him up out of Emmett's lap and placed him on her hip, smiling at him.
"Hi Maden," she greeted him back and then whispered in his ear, "You know, you have two of the best parents in the world. Your mommy has been waiting for you for a long time."
And it was the truth; Rosalie had been waiting for a child for over a hundred years and now she finally had one of her own to love and care for. Bella had wanted that for her sister since the beginning, when she learned of how Rosalie was turned after being brutally beaten and raped, leaving her near death. When she was turned, she would have given anything to be human again so she could have children. Now, she could have both immortality and a son to love.
Turning towards Emmett, she answered his question, "Nessie's outside the house, calling Jake to let him know we're home. You know how it is when she is away from him for any length of time."

Renesmee had been antsy all morning long, from the time they got to the airport to leave New York until the moment they landed in Seattle. On the plane, she had played with her phone constantly, unable to use it, which she found annoying. She had spent an entire week without Jacob, a feat in and of itself. The week she and her mother had in New York was a lot of fun; they had gone to see several Broadway shows, gone shopping on Fifth Avenue, and seen a ton of sites along the way. While there, they had also done some wedding shopping that needed to be done. All of the bridesmaid dresses were picked out and being shipped to their house as well as some of the crystal that was going to be used for the reception. The last thing they had picked up was her wedding dress from the designer her mother had contacted. The dress, however, they did not trust with anyone so it made the flight home with them. It was absolutely beautiful and she could not wait for everyone to see it on her wedding day.
Upon landing in Seattle, she and her mother got their luggage and went straight home, finding no one in the cottage. Immediately, they went to the mansion to find everyone, but Renesmee stopped outside and pulled out her phone to call Jacob. Three rings later, she got his answering machine, so she left a message.
"Hey baby, I just wanted to call and tell you that I made it home safe. I have missed you so very much and cannot wait to see you. I love you."
With that, she slid her phone shut and walked inside of the mansion. Almost everyone was downstairs, except for Jasper and Carlisle. And Alice, but Renesmee knew she was going to be gone for a while. Her eyes drifted among her family members until they rested on something she did not expect; a little boy with blonde hair and the same strange scent coming from her own body resting on her mother's hip.
"What's going on?" she asked, moving her eyes from the little boy back to the members of her family.

Jacob was Just getting out of his shower when he heard he phone ring, he hopped out, quickly and grabbed a towel at the same time. it rang three time and he knew after the three ring the machine would pick up. Jacob wrapped the towel around his waist as he walked into the the kitchen and picked his cell phone off the table, the first thing that was flashing was a missed text message from Emmett. Jacob just ignored it and check who called it was Renesmee, and she left a message. Jake open the voice mail and listen to the message: "Hey baby, I just wanted to call and tell you that I made it home safe. I have missed you so very much and cannot wait to see you. I love you."
"Gah," Jake said" I cant believe I missed her call". Jacob ran back to his bedroom and tied a pair sweatpants to his and got ready to head to the mansion. Knowing Renesmee and Bella the probably wanted to visit the family as soon as they got home. he pulled out his phone and to text Renesmee. "Ness I would have called but texting is easier to do before I run, anyway ..If you at the mansionI am on my way to see you
all my love
Jacob
With that Jacob took off out the back soon dropping his towel and phasing and running into the woods heading to the Cullens. |

While waiting for her family to answer her, she received a text message from Jacob. He was on his way, which was a huge relief to her mind. She wanted him to be there in case she needed someone to lean on. And he certainly was her rock, through and through.
Several seconds ticked by without an answer from anyone in her family, so she began to look more closely at the little boy in her mother's arms. He certainly was not human, to be sure. The scent he had gave that away; he was a half-breed, just like she was. His features closely resembled Emmett's, which clicked with something in her mind. The little boy was Emmett's son. He had to be. There was no other explanation for his scent and features.
"Oh Jake," she cried.
Renesmee's mind was reeling. If the little boy was Emmett's son, that meant that he had cheated on Rosalie at some point in the recent past and that was unacceptable. This was her family and she would not have something like that happening. Backing up, she turned and ran out of the room without giving anyone a chance to answer her. Just as she got outside of the door, she ran into something hard and hot. Looking up, she discovered that it was Jacob. Wrapping her arms around him, she buried her face in his shoulder.

Jacob had just unphase and slipped on his Sweatpants before getting ran into by something hard and fast. it only took him a second to recognized it was Renesmee. He wrapped his arms around her, for it was not he greeting he expected. He just held her for a second saying nothing knowing something was upsetting her. He gentle Kissed her forehead.
"I am glad to see you Ness but whats wrong?" He gently stroked her hair and whispered into her ear.
"I have missed you and I happy too see you, Did I do something ?" Jacob had not been around the Cullen house at all so he did not going on at all there for the past Seven day with all of the Crystal issues he did not want to intrude.

Jacob's voice was comforting and soothing as he stroked her hair. This was something she did not want to deal with right now, just after returning from New York to get away from the family problems. As Jacob's strong arms wrapped around her, she felt safe again.
However, this was not the time or place to talk about anything being that her family was probably going to come outside any minute to retrieve her. The last thing she wanted right then was a family confrontation.
"Jake, it's nothing you did. Could we please go back to your house and talk there?" she pleaded, looking into his eyes with tears in her own.

Jacob rested her head on top her. "I am glad it is not me of anything I did," he said holding her tight, and kissing the top of her head. He let go of her for a second, "We can go back to my house, I have a surprise for you anyway." Jacob said happy. when he was away he renovated a bedroom for Renesmee, just in case she ever need to get away, Jacob was happy he finished it.
"When we get there I want to to tell me all that is bugging you that way you can enjoy your gift more...Wait here." Jacob took off to phased and returned in record time. He laid down on the ground and waited for Renesmee to get on his back, before beginning to run top speed trough the woods.

Carlisle sat at his desk as he finished up the rest of his patient charts. It was a usual and typical day for him, but he always smiled because he could make a difference and help people and the control he had around blood as well. To him those have been some of his greatest accomplishment.
He finished up his last chart and threw on his blazer and head out of the office, bidding everyone a good day and headed for his car. He climbed in his car and drove away as he dialed Esme and waited for her to answer. He sped down the roads and headed towards his house.

Everyone was so welcome and caring to him since he entered the house. Maden's mind still wondered where his real mom is and what she'll be doing. Everything happened all of sudden; Ania didn't like the fact that he had so much energy and was tired of him. No matter what happens, he figured that his dad and his new family will be there for him and take care him, no matter how much energy he has in him or anything of that matter.
When Bella picked him up, it felt just nice to him all over again. It was kind of thing that his real mom would do almost everyday and talk to him. Maden listened to what Bella had to say, making him smile even more big. "They're the best." He whispered back to Bella. Using his free hands, he played with Bella's perfectly brown hair, feeling little joy inside of him once again. Ever since he was born, he loves to have fun, tell jokes, and just to entertain people; much like Emmett.
Maden looked back when Nessie came into the room. He was waiting to see his cousin the whole time and there she was looking gorgeous, just like Bella and Edward. Maden wanted to be in Nessie's arms to get to know her better. After all, she is his older cousin-sister and the only one. Carefully, he watched her expressions as she looked everyone in the room and left the mansion in a hurry. He didn't know what was going on but figured that he was the problem. For the first time, he felt like crying and wishing his mom was there. He looked at Rosalie then Emmett with a sad look on his face and rested his head against Bella's shoulders. I wanna go home.

Esme was till standing in the living room with everyone else when the phone rang, Esme walked over a looked at the caller Id before answering it, it was Carlisle. " Carlisle Love are you on your way home? Bella and Nessie are back and We also have another guest, You have to come greet him," Esme said happily her mood was lifted from out of the darkness where she was sad, to a place were she was actually smiling again. " Ness got a text then ran out but I think she left wanted to spend time with Jacob. How much longer till your here? Esme laughed a bit "I miss you by the way"

Emmett watched as Maden went with Bella happily into her arms and listened to their whispers. He looked at Rosalie, giving her a smile and a wink right after it. He couldn't wait when they take Maden out for his shopping and spend some family time together. When Bella told him where Nessie is, he nodded understanding of her calling Jacob first since she missed him much. He wouldn't leave Rosalie or even think about cheating on her over again. He took his risk and from the risk there was a child, now his mom left him at the porch of the mansion, telling Emmett to take of him.
When Nessie came through the doors, he looked at her, giving a smile and how much he missed her. From her tone, he figured that she doesn't like the fact that Maden is there in the living room. "Come and meet your new cousin, Maden." He said looked at Maden that was looking at Nessie. Emmett heard the phone ring and got up to retrieve it when Esme went to talk. From her words, he figured that it was Carlisle. Everything went wrong when Nessie ran out of the house and Maden looking at him with a sad expression. Seeing sad look on his son's face, he was hurt also; and wanted to protect Maden from anything and keep him happy. He wasn't expecting Nessie to react like that especially in front of a kid.
Emmett took Maden in his arms, kissing his crown, as he looked at Rosalie. "It's okay, Maden. She needed to see Jake first, don't worry." He assured Maden as he rubbed his back gently. He more worried about Nessie on what happened and why she reacted to it. Edward, I didn't mean to. And seeing both my son and niece like this, I can't take it. He thought to Edward.

Carlisle smiled at that and kept wondering who this new guest might be, but was also happy to finally have Bella and Nessie back in town again from their trip in New York, he continued to speed down the road, as the car glided and purred like a kitten and handled extremely well. He continue to remain on the phone with Esme.
"Oh wow, well I am glad to hear Bella and Nessie are back at home, I look foward to welcoming them back home, well Bella at least for now." He smiled at he started to see he was getting home soon. "I must say I am very curious in meeting this new guest, and I miss you too my love and glad and always happy everytime I get to hear your voice, I love you so much darling, I will be home soon."

Edward was standing close to Bella watching her and Maden, when Nessie entered the room. Of course Edward heard everything that went through Nessie's head and the conversation between her and Jake before they took off for Jake's house. Edward would give them so time alone before he went after her. After she left, he heard Maden and Emmett's thoughts and turned to answer both of them. "Don't worry Maden, it is not you. She was just caught off guard and she is upset because she thinks that Emmett had an affair on Rosalie. She does not realize that they were split up. I will let her spend some time with Jake before I go and explain everything to her. She needs time with her love, right now." Edward said as he turned to Emmett.

Rose was so happy that Bella was taking to Maden. She was watching Bella and Maden, together. Rose knew that with this family, Maden would never want for love. Rose had just moved away from Bella's side to go to Emmett when Nessie came in and well ran back out again. Rose looked to Edward and just waited for the explaination that she already knew was coming. Rose had feared that Nessie would not take Maden being here well. For thirty years Nessie had been the only child of the family and in alot of ways she was very sheltered.
When Rose finally heard Edward speak to answer Emmett and spoke to Maden instead. She knew he was answering Maden's thoughts. Rose was hurt then that Maden had been hurt. She went back to his side and kissed him. "It is not you love. This is an issue that your mommy and daddy caused. We will take care of it." Rose knew that when Edward went after Nessie, she was going with him. "Edward, I am going with you when you do after Nessie. I think I need to talk to her, before she will listen to anyone else."

Bella watched the entire episode of Renesmee coming in and seeing Maden, then suddenly leaving. Immediately, she knew what was wrong with her daughter. It was the very same thing that happened with Crystal; another member of the family suddenly showing up out of nowhere and expecting her to accept them right away. However, she did not blame either Maden or Renesmee for the situation that was caused. It was no one's fault really.
Understanding her daughter more than anyone, she knew that Renesmee would not listen to anyone right then but Jacob and even after that, it was uncertain whether she would even listen to anyone else.
"Edward, Rose," she said calmly, placing Maden back into Emmett's arms, "I think I should talk to her first. The first person a girl will ever want to talk to besides her fiancee is her mom."
