"A Danger is coming, and I don't know if the counsel will be strong enough this time." A deep voice muttered in the darkness.
"Of course we will." A woman protested before continuing on confident in the words she was speaking. "Nothing and no one has been strong enough to defeat us all."
"What I feel coming is much worse than everything I've ever experienced in my lifetime." A man countered in a shaky voice, his weary eyes going in every direction.
A man who was calmer and more relaxed spoke next "I agree with William-" The slight, blond woman cut him off before he could say more. "Of course you do Benja-" She was cut off in turn by her partner.
"Hear me out Mi Alana. William has never failed us before. If he believes that what is coming is too much for us then I trust him." The man, Benjamin, said to the other in a grave tone.
Mi Alana sighed, unable to continue on with her argument. "Dori..." She whispered, looking in the direction of the bulkier, dark haired woman. In hopes of some backup.
She wasn't about to get the support that she desired.
"I don't know what this is Mia. We must trust William, as we have in the past, and only hope that the Paretti girl figures out soon..."
Over 5,000 miles away, a fourteen year old girl slept, not knowing the wise ones were speaking of her. At that point she didn't even know they existed. But they were, it was by some miracle that they all realized that she was the key to it all. A savior of sorts, a savior of the world of magic. Now the question is will she be ready? And soon. Would she be willing to risk her life and the lives of those who are closest to her? We can never be certain. What is this impending doom they all seem to be worried about? What could have the always sure William so shaken up? There are warlocks determined to cause this destruction, But they aren't working alone.
Somehow they have an insider, feeding them valuable information. Now we are wondering who has turned traitor? All hope has started to slip, it seems like there is no one who can set things right.
Let us just pray she chooses the right path. Maybe she will believe all of the old stories are true, it is likely she will consider that everyone has gone insane. After all...who would believe in people who turn into wolves, witches, wizards, demons, and *Shudders* warlocks. All of this can not be real, or can it? Step into the world of magic and see for yourself.
