Sadie had been so caught up on everything lately, that she decided to take a relaxing spree in Port Angeles. Walking around looking at shop windows she tried to relax and not focus on anything particular. She wondered why Caden suddenly disappeared a while ago, and she hoped she didn’t have anything to do with it. She had tried to call him on his cell, but a ear wrecking noise just came up and she knew that his number wasn’t in use. She found a shop with galla and prom dresses, and wedding dresses and sighed. She remembered her prom, it had been fun, but her date was rather annoying. She smiled to herself at that memory, her mother had told her she should say yes to the poor guy, and so she did. She was looking at a beautiful wedding dress, maybe the most beautiful dress she had ever seen and sighed. Truly she didn’t have the time for a man, but she so wanted one.
"Ohh well, doesn’t bother me to be alone and by myself." Sadie said out loud to herself. Then she giggled since he had spoken out loud. She remembered herself to call Raine later, they had barely spoken since Sadie started on a newspaper in Seattle, all Sadie knew was that Raine had gotten married. She decided to walk away from the windows to watch at something else than dresses when she stumbled into someone and fell and landed on her back, her ankle hurting like a maniac. She whined a bit and looked up to see who she had stumbled into. It was a man, rather pretty she admitted to herself. But a rush of pain went through her ankle and she whined again and looked at it. Her foot was twisted in some sick ankle and Sadie got noxious just by looking at it.

It had been a few days since the birthday party that Forks had thrown itself. William was just enjoying the time of pure relaxation and he had decided to drive on his bike to explore the surrounding area. He had found himself not long later in a larger town called Port Angeles. William parked his motorcycle and decided to carry his helmet with him. He was not much of a shopper and he was just going to give himself a few moments to strech his legs before going back to Forks to look for a permanent place and a job. William found himself in front of an ice cream shop and decided to get an ice cream cone before he continued his adventures in Port Angeles.
He was just finishing of the last of his ice cream cone when he looked across the street to see a pretty attractive young woman. She seemed to be window shopping and he watched as the young woman said something to herself, something that William couldn’t hear from across the street. He watched the young woman in her dream world bump into a man about his age, and the young woman fell back. William glanced both ways for cars and crossed the street and as he reached the other side the man she had bumped into had walked away. ‘Jackass.’ William thought mentally as he approached the young woman who was whining and looking down at her twisted ankle. He put his motorcycle helmet down as he kneeled on the sidewalk next to the young woman. “Hey my name is William, are you okay?”

Sadie was swearing over her ancle, she thought it was broken. Then the man she had bumped into just walked away even without looking at her. Idiot, poor little ice hearted man. Sadie thought to herself. Then a young man about the same age as the man that had bumped into Sadie walked over to her, and said something. “Hey my name is William, are you okay?” He asked and it took her awhile noticing what he said. "No im not okay, i think my ancle is broken." She answered and whined. She tried to get up, and she actually managed to do so. She stood there one one leg, trying to hold her balance. "My name is Sadie by the way. And thanks for caring, that ice hearted man i bumped into just walked away. May he rotten in hell, ohh, sorry i normally dont say things like that, its just because im in pain. Sadie said and tried to smile. She had to go to the hospital and thought about calling her mom, but remembered her mom was in New York, vising her aunt.

As William had approached the young woman he noticed a few colorful words escaping her lips. He grinned a little to himself before putting on a straighter face for when he kneeled down and asked if she was alright. After William had introduced himself and asked if she was alright, it seemed to take the young woman a few moments to respond. "No I’m not okay, I think my ankle is broken." The young woman then proceeded to get to her feet and attempted successfully to balance on one leg. William had not finished with his masters degree, but he knew from common sense and what schooling he had, had to know the young woman needed to sit down.
William stood up with his helmet in hand just as the young woman introduced herself as Sadie. He did not bother to stop the laugh when Sadie cursed the man that had pushed her over to rot in hell. William grinned, “Well I think we can let that comment slide this time; I mean as long as you have a little more self control next time.” William made a slightly apologetic face before he stepped to Sadie and slid her arm around his shoulders and placed an arm gently around her waist. “Why don’t we get you over to that bench and see if there’s anything I can do.”

Sadie felt a dissy, her head was starting to spin and she took a deep breath calming herself. She laughed when he said he would let her last comment slide. "Ill try to get my normal self control back in the right place, and i normally dont swear like that at all, my mother would kill me if she had heard me." Sadie said with a smile. Her ancle was getting really sore and painfull every minut that went by. He smiled gratefully to him when he slid her arms around his shoulders and she held it tight so she would slip. She walked with him to the bench, which felt like taking forever. All she could think about now was her ancle. Its so typical for me and my bad luck to get hurt this way when my mother is out of time. All my life has been bad luck over and over again, sometime it has to change for the better. Sadie said to herself and made a mental note to herself to stay awake and not day dream when she was walking around in the cities.

William grinned slightly as Sadie said she was going to try and get her self control back. She insisted that she rarely swore like that and that her mother would have been really upset had she been there. “I’ll make sure your heathen ways will stay a secret from your mother.” William laughed a little to make sure Sadie knew he was kidding. Sadie seemed grateful that William was helping her towards a bench which was much preferred to the slap that he had received once. They reached the bench a few moments later and William helped Sadie sit down. William set his motorcycle helmet on the bench next to where Sadie was sitting and kneeled down by her ankle. He looked it over and stood up after a few seconds, “I’ll be right back.”
William left and came back after several moments with a small bag of ice. He held the bag out to Sadie, unsure if she would rather hold the icepack herself, “I got a bag of ice from that ice cream parlor back there, it should help with the pain.”

Sadie sat down and relaxed her foot, it was pointing in a weird ancle and Sadie was afraid she would have to go to the hospital, she had once before broken the exact same ancle and breaking it again wouldnt be too good. William dissapeared and came back some moments after with a bag of ice. He held it out to her and she took it, swung her leg over the other and held the ice bag on her ankle. "Thanks, but im afraid its broken, so the ice wont help much but stopping the swelling. I need to go to the hospital" Sadie said and got her cell phone out, looked through it and discovered she didnt have a number for the taxi company around here, only in Seattle. "Do you by any chance have the number for the taxi company here". Sadie asked William. She looked at his helmet and guessed he had a motor cycle or something, so why should he have the number for the taxi company.

Sadie thanked William for the ice as she placed the bag on her ankle. William sat down on the bench next to Sadie’s injured ankle and he moved the bag of ice. He put it back after a few seconds, “Yeah you definitely busted pretty good. Have you hurt this ankle before? I know it is more likely for something to happen when you have old injuries.” Sadie started looking for something on her phone, and as she looked at William, he guessed she did not find what she needed. Sadie asked if he would have the number to the taxi service. William shook his head, “Sorry I don’t, but let me go back to that ice cream parlor, I’m sure they have a phone book.” William left again and came back a few short moments later sitting back down on the bench.
“They just called a taxi, but they said its going to be a few minutes.” William sat back on the bench and crossed his arms over his stomach before finally looking back to Sadie, “So do you make it a habit of running into people?” William asked with a faint grin on his face and hoped that Sadie would know that he was just kidding.

Sadie watched as he removed the ice bag and put it back on her ankle. "Well yes, I’ve broken it before, about 3 years ago. I fell down a tree when an old friend of mine scared me. So I hope the doctors can fix it again, its been weak since I broke it the last time and maybe that’s why it broke that easily this time." Sadie said and laughed at the memory. Her friend had scared her with asking her out on a date, and she defiantly didn’t date guys 3 years ago. When Williams left again to find a phone book Sadie thought about what she could do to William in return of his help, but her lack of ideas didn’t give her anyone good.
When he came back telling that there was called for a taxi she smiled. " Thank you so much for helping me, I guess people aren’t as helpful anymore as they used to be, but in really grateful that you’ve helped me." She said to him and she meant every word of it. His joke about her having a habit of running into people made Sadie laugh. The fact was that she didn’t pay much attention to her surroundings and often bumped into people. " As the matter of fact, i do that pretty often, i tend to daydream while I walk around and bump into people all the time, plus I’m really clumsy when it comes to walking on my own two feet. How about you, do you often help strangers in need?" Sadie asked and sat up straight. A light wind played with her hair and made some of it stay in front of her eyes. She ran a hand through her hair and sighed. It was typical for her to get in trouble or bad luck in any way.

William nodded his understanding when Sadie explained that she had broken her ankle before. “Well that would explain why you hurt this ankle and not the other one. Once you break something it makes it easier to break in the future.” William grinned and added, “So hopefully whatever the surprises was, was worth busting up your ankle for.” A few moments after William came back from calling a cab Vanessa thanked William for his help. He shrugged and waved it off, “Don’t even worry about it; I’m happy to help.” Sadie started talking about how she tended to daydream and that she bumped into people all the time. She then asked if he made it a habit to help strangers in need. William shrugged, “I know it sounds cheesy but my Mom always taught me to respect people. The whole treat them the way you want to be treated thing.”
William started day dreaming slightly as he settled back against the bench while they waited for the taxi. He thought back to some of his childhood memories and how much he loved his mother. William mentally shook his head and settled back against the bench.

Sadie smiled at his comment about his behaving was cheesy. She was actually surprised that someone who was told be a gentleman and treat people nicely didn’t turn out being a dick when they moved out of the comfy nest of a parents house. "I don’t think its the least bit cheesy at all. What’s cheesy is that my mother is the person I’m most afraid of in the world. After my dad died my mom has been a monster to be around, making my life miserable." Sadie said without thinking that William was a total stranger and she had just told him how her mother was. Only Raine knew about her mother being a tyran. She noticed the look of his face when he leaned back against the bench, it looked like he was daydreaming or something near it, but it was gone a few moments later.
His crossed arms reminded me of someone who needed to protect themselves and Sadie noticed that she did that her herself when ever something she couldn’t control happened. Sadie remember one night in the forest where she had met a strange man, talking about hunting for a quick meal, and when she was about to answer him Raine had bursted out from the bushes and grabbed her arm, pulling her away and hissing words and swore at the man. She remembered the name of the man, Will, his named had been Will. Will, William, Will, William. A cold shiver ran down Sadie’s spine, she looked nervously at William, but remembered herself that Will didn’t look at all like this man sitting next to her. Sadie hadn’t been near that place in the woods again, and didn’t enter the woods alone. She shook her head clearing her mind and looked around for the cab. "Umm did they say anything about how long it would be before the cab was here?" Sadie asked William.

"I don’t think its the least bit cheesy at all. What’s cheesy is that my mother is the person I’m most afraid of in the world. After my dad died my mom has been a monster to be around, making my life miserable." William smiled at Sadie as she had said that she did not think having manners was cheesy. He then listened and shook his head sympathetically to Sadie’s plight. William could sympathize in a way from the idea of loosing a parent. His mother and sister had died in a car accident and it had torn what was left of his small family apart. In fact it had been a couple weeks since he had spoken with his other sister, and even longer since he had spoken with his father. William’s life had unraveled at that point which had been the majority of the reason behind William taking off on his motorcycle.
As William forced himself to once again forget he looked back at Sadie who was watching him with a nervous look. He frowned and touched the sides of his cheeks, “Is there something on my face?” William gave a small grin to show that he was just kidding about his question. Sadie then asked how long it would be until a taxi showed up; William glanced at his watch. “Well they called a few minutes ago and apparently the taxi service said it was going to be about a twenty minute wait.”

Sadie saw William look at her as if to ask if something was on his face, probably since Sadie had just looked at him as some kind of maniac. Sadie shook her head and smiled, "Nope, nothings on your face, on again i was daydreaming, and not a happy on for once." Sadie said and laughed. She leaned back on the bench, her back stiff from sitting straight holding the ice on her ankle. She leaned back, left the ice bag on her ankle and was shocked when her food just turned down and the ice bag fell to the ground. "Well that answers the, is it broken, question." Sadie said and placed her ankle and foot on her lap, good thing she was so athletic. Sadie had asked when the taxi would be there, and thought it was typical her luck when he answered that it would take them twenty minutes. "Ohh well, im not running anywhere, did they say why it was gonna take so long." Sadie asked and looked at William.

William nodded with a small grin as Sadie said that there was nothing on his face. She also added on that she had been day dreaming with a laugh. William watched as Sadie tried to sit back while balancing the ice pack on her foot. It did not work as well and he knew something was wrong with her ankle when the ice pack slid off of Sadie’s limp foot. He knew that the ice pack was not going to work for long and that Sadie was going to need to be at the hospital soon. William then wished that he could drive Sadie, but with her foot being likely broken he knew it wouldn’t be good for her to ride on a motorcycle. He also knew it would not be much longer until the taxi was there to take Sadie to the hospital. William chuckled when he heard Sadie say, "Ohh well, I’m not running anywhere, did they say why it was gonna take so long."
William grinned and said, “Well if you did start to run somewhere I would have to wonder if you faked a hurt ankle just to meet me.” He was completely joking of course. William shrugged in response when Sadie asked why the taxi could take so long, “I wouldn’t have the faintest clue; it seems like they shouldn’t take that long. Port Angeles isn’t a very big city to begin with.”
