Lexi had been home for a month or so now and was getting back into the swing of things nicely. She was working as a Biologist for the Forestry Service and maintaining her duties to the pack quiet nicely. Lexi had decided to move back into her mother's house on the reservation and was living there alone. It was lonely but she was dealing with not having Quil around anymore. Lexi missed him and wished that she had been able to see him, but she knew that she would have to deal with that lose in her own time. Lexi knew that was one of the problems with being immortal.
She was in the mountains today setting insect traps for her research and that was what she needed to be thinking about. Get your mind on your work before you mess up. She thought to her self as she hung a trap for a tree branch. She was almost finished with the traps and thought about taking a run up the mountain before returning to the reservation. She was walking through the forest looking for the final markers to place the traps.
As she hung the final trap she smiled to her self. Lexi loved her work so much. Being a wolf her self was just a perk to her chosen career. Lexi could move with the animals and study them in a way that no one else could. She decide not to go for a run now, because she knew that she would be on duty for the pack tonight. She needed to get back to the reservation and get some sleep before her night job started. She laughed to her self about that. A scientist by day and a wolf by night, what a combination. She turned and headed back to her truck to make the drive back to the reservation and was whisling to her self as her walked.

It was close to the end of the Washington summer; however it was still too warm for Sasha’s comfort. That did not stop Sasha however from wearing his floor length black leather jacket, the black slacks, or even his black comando boots. Life for Sasha was nothing except for a series of tradeoffs, immortality in exchange for being a killer; the chance to see the world, and the chance to be punched in the gut by all of the world’s disappointment. Sasha knew that he was a monster and he made no excuses for that but he never had it in him to lay down and die. If he did not do it when his wife and son were killed then he would be damned if he would do it for merely existing. It was why he had come to Washington in the first place so that he could come and find the others like him.
Sasha wanted to know if he was truly alone in the world like he had been the last few centuries. Sasha was angry with himself for allowing his hopes to become raised as they had when he first heard about the creatures in La Push. Sasha had spent almost a thousand years living in Russia and he would freely admit to himself that he was out of his element; which made him edgy. Sasha was walking through the mountains deciding the best way to find where La Push exactly was, and the best way to find one of the wolves. Unless they were in their wolf form he was not exactly easy to spot. Sasha did know that in such a small place that he would stick out like a sore thumb, especially with the scars that were carved into the right side of his face.
Sasha walked further along and a few seconds later he heard whistling. Sasha went against his instinct to walk away from everyone living, and he made his way towards the sound. He broke through the thin tree line to find himself faced with something that he had not seen in centuries. Sasha froze on his side of the clearing and watched the woman who had been the source of the whistling walk back to her transportation. He did not care to torture himself with the thought of the woman looking exactly like his wife, but for Sasha the resemblance was too strong. Sasha knew it had been almost nine hundred years and that there was no physical way for it to be his wife. Sasha felt his chest tightening and his heart rate quicken as Sasha was unable to stop himself from whispering, “Alexandria?”

Lexi was not paying attention to things around her which was unusal for her as a wolf. She was walking and looking around at the ground as she walked and whistled. She did not expect anyone else to be out in the woods today. She knew that the other wolves were at LaPush and that the vampires would be at the mansion. She was off in her own little world as her walked, thinking about the pack and her duties there.
When Lexi heard a strange male voice whisper her full name she stopped and looked around to where the sound came from. Lexi did not know the voice that had whispered it and that made her nervious but she knew that she could protect herself. When she finally made eye contact with the strange man, her world came to a stand still. There in the middle of the forest in the moutains of Forks, Lexi saw the most amazing man that she would ever see. He was every thing that Lexi had not known she wanted in life. Instantly Lexi felt the threads of fate pulling her towards him. She did not know him, but she knew that he was her world.
Lexi moved closer to him, but still stood a few feet away though she wanted nothing more than to throw her arms around his neck and kiss him, she knew that she did not know him and that had she baffled. How could she imprint on someone that she did not know. She knew that the imprint thing was something that just happened when the right person came along, but she knew that this person was not from LaPush or any where around there. There was still the question of how he knew her name.
Lexi finally got her senses about her enough to speak. "Hello, do I know you? How do you know my name?" She said as she was not sure what else to say. She knew that she could not just burst out with, "I don't know who you are, but I just imprinted on you and you are to be the love of my life." She thought to herself as her waited for him to speak again. She knew that imprintee felt just as drawn to the wolf that imprinted on them as the wolf did to them, but she had never experienced it. She had only heard and felt the thoughts of the wolves that had imprinted. She was so happy that she had finally imprinted but she needed to know who it was that she imprinted on.
Lexi caught his scent on the wind and knew that he was not a wolf like her, but that samething was strange about him. He had a smell that she had never smelt before. He was not a wolf in the sence of LaPush wolves, and he was diffenately not a vampire, but he was not a human either. That made her curious as to what he was but she knew that she would figure out the answer to all her questions in time. Right now she was more concerned with knowing his name.

Sasha realized how strange it must have been for him to be standing there across the clearing from the woman. They were practically in the middle of no where, and they were complete strangers. Sasha was not going to deny the fact of how he must look to others, his dark clothing in all weather along with his scars kept others at a far distance. So he had a feeling that any moment this familiar woman would be running away from him as quickly as she had the chance to. Even as Sasha said his dead wife’s name he was regretting the decision to speak, something that he knew to be an extreme rarity. Sasha never regretted anything his said, but somehow when it came to thoughts about his wife and son the pain about talking about them felt as fresh to Sasha as the day he had found their bodies.
That’s why when the woman stopped at his soft whisper, a whisper that should have been too quiet for normal ears, Sasha felt a bubble of panic begin in his stomach. Sasha had been alive for centuries and he could never account any time in his life when he had panicked, outside of some nights of full moons. For some reason beyond Sasha, he was afraid of the look on the woman’s face when she turned to face him, and he was afraid of what she would look like. She already looked far too much like his Alexandria and he did not know if he could handle another woman that looked like his wife. The woman finally turned to face Sasha and he was faced with the moment, ‘Be prepared for dozens of questions or screaming.’
When Sasha looked into her eyes he was astounded by the similarities that she had to his Alexandria. He was also becoming amazed by how instantly connected he felt to her. Sasha had extremely limited contact with other people because of his curse and he knew that his reaction was not just to seeing a beautiful woman. It was deeper then how this woman looked like his wife, and Sash could feel himself drawn to be near her. Suddenly the distance between Sasha and the woman closed as she edged towards him, still leaving enough breathing space. Whatever Sasha was feeling towards this woman seemed to be reciprocated as he could almost feel the air crackling between them.
After what seemed an eternity of staring at one another the woman spoke first, "Hello, do I know you? How do you know my name?" Sasha felt a mixture of feelings at that moment when the woman spoke. He was shocked that the woman’s name was actually Alexandria, hurt at the memory of his wife, partially annoyed at feeling so conflicted after so few words, but more importantly then the rest was his sense of calm when this new Alexandria spoke. If anything Sasha should have been feeling edgy and a desire to back away from her because she had moved into his space first, and spoke first.
Sasha went back and forced himself to focus on what Alexandria had asked him. He felt his thick Russian accent cover his speaking, “You would not know me unless you have been to Russia.” Sasha bit back a snort as he thought, ‘Within the last nine centuries’. Then came the complicated question that Sasha would rather avoid then explain to this new Alexandria, even though he felt a bond forming when they first faced one another.
After a few more moment of basking in one another’s silence Sasha unintentionally knew her name, but she would have no idea of his. Sasha could feel his thick accent once again as he spoke, “My name is Sasha.” Sasha was surprised with himself at the fact that he was already being kinder to the practical stranger then he had been to others in centuries.

Lexi was still stunned by her imprinting on a total stranger and she knew that he would be feeling something similar to what she was feeling and that must be strange for him as well. Lexi listened as he spoke again with a thick Russian accent. "You would not know me unless you have been to Russia." She had been to Russia but she was still not sure that she knew him. Lexi had been around the world during her travels, when she left LaPush. "Well I have not been to Russia in about fifteen years, but I still do not think that I meet you there." Lexi said to the man. She was not sure of what else to say. She was fighting the urge to just through her arms around him and kiss him. It was obvious that her name caused him pain for some reason that he was not saying. She wished that she knew why. Lexi had always loved her name, though she had shortened it years ago when she was youngers. Quil could never say her name when they were younger and he had given her the nickname that had stuck.
When the man spoke again it was to introduce himself to her. "Hello Sasha, you can call me, Lexi." She said to him. She knew that now that she had imprinted on him, she could tell him everything about her, but how did you tell someone that you were a wolf. She had know idea what to do in that moment and wished that she had talked to Sam more about his imprinting on Emily, so that she would know how to proceed. "I am glad to meet you Sasha, and I have much to tell you, but I am unsure of where to start." She said as she looked around for a place that they could sit and talk as she figured that they should get to know each other better, since they were destined to spend their lives together.
Lexi found a small clearing and went to sit in the grass. She would tell him everything, though she would have to show him some things. Lexi knew that he would be able to handle it though. He was her mate and the one that she could tell everything to. "I came from the Indian Reservation just to the south of here. I am a Quilieute/Makah Indian." She said to him to start off the story. She knew that this was going to take a while and that he would have questions along the way.

The new Alexandria explained that she had been to Russia but it had been a long time and that she was sure that he had never met him before. Sasha nodded his head, never one comfortable with words and yet he found himself almost compelled to speak, “I have lived there all my life.” That amazed Sasha that he had spoken those words, because that was more information then he ever gave out to anyone. Sasha was not sure what about the new Alexandria that made himself feel so compelled to speak with her. For some reason beyond Sasha, he felt like he needed to speak with her, and just to hear her voice to know he would be alright. It was almost like it had been all those centuries ago, and this time Sahsa was having a hard time pulling himself away from the past. Which seemed to be alright for several moments as Alexandria seemed to be trapped by her own thoughts as well. Sasha found himself nodding towards Alexandria when she said, "Hello Sasha, you can call me, Lexi."
Lexie then poke a few seconds later explaining that she was glad to meet him and that she had a long story to give, but that she wasn’t sure where to start. Sasha snorted as he thought of his own past and compared it to whatever Lexie had gone through. Most likely there would be no contest whatsoever. Sasha watched as Lexie looked around the little clearing and he wondered what she could be exactly looking for. The beauty found what she was looking for and sat down in a clear area. Sasha against his normalcy followed Lexie to where she was sitting and sat down across from her, still leaving plenty of space between them. "I came from the Indian Reservation just to the south of here. I am a Quilieute/Makah Indian.” Sasha cocked his head to one side as the name of the Indian tribe became familiar. He thought back to the stories that he had heard about werewolves in Washington. In a small reserve from where he was at there was the Indian tribe he had been looking for. Sasha was a little relieved that he was finally so close to his goal of finding others of his kind.
Not caring if he had much tact in his question or if Lexie got up and left after he asked, “Are you one of the wolf people?” Sasha had only heard a few stories about the kinda of wolves that resided in Washington and he wasn’t sure if they would have the same curse that he did. He knew how bizarre his question was but dancing around the bush when it was right there, was not in his personality. Sasha had to know if the single strand of hope he had been holding for a decade was in fact true.

Lexi listened and smiled when Sasha said that he had lived in Russia all his life. "I have traveled the world." She said to him. Suddenly, Lexi wondered how long that was. She knew that he was more than human, but she was still not sure exactly what he was. She knew that he was her mate, but was not sure how to tell him about her, though she knew that she could know that she had imprinted on him. She wanted to through herself into his arms, but knew that would probably trip him out to have a total stranger do that. She thought about where to begin with telling him, her story and finally decided on where to begin.
She was about to begin her story, when she watched as he came and sat down close to her but still kept his distance. She knew that he should be felling the pull that she was and wondered if it was confusing him. When he asked if she was one of the wolf people that caught her off guard. How did he know about them and what did he know about them? She looked at him with shock on her face for a moment before she could recover herself. She turned serious then and looked into his eyes. "I am one of them, and that was what I was about to tell you, but how do you know about us?" She said as she search his eyes for something that would explain how he already knew of the tribe. Lexi knew that the only time that they had ever shown themselves to vampires that lived to tell about it, was when the Volturi came after Nessie, thirty years ago. She thought about that and knew from his smell that he was not a vampire, so how would he know. Lexi concidered that for a moment and decided that it did not matter, how he knew.
She took a deep breath then and settled back down to talk with him. "I am from the wolf people as you put it, but we are not truely wolves. At least not in the since of werewolves. We are more like shapeshifter. It is something that it in our genes and is passed down through the generations." She said as she looked as him for some sign of knowledge or something. She was not exactly sure what she was looking for or expecting to see. "I can show you if you would like me to." She said to him then, knowing that she could show him, without hurting him. She knew that she could control herself enough for him to be safe. Besides it was not like she would actually phase in front of him since it required her to get naked first.
Lexi sat there and waited, wondering what he was going to say and sure that he would have questions for her. She knew that she would have to explain the feelings that he was having and wondered how exactly to explain imprinting to someone. She had never asked the others about it before. She only knew what she had heard in their thoughts. She hoped that the things that they thought were true and that the one that they imprinted on, did feel the same thing that they felt. She did not want to feel this way only to find out that he did not, but she and seen the way the others were. Lexi knew that Emily was just as devoted to Sam as he was to her and the same with the others. Lexi then smiled at Sasha to try and easy any worries that he had. She knew that telling some one she was a wolf could be a shock.

The new Alexandria seemed to think for several moments about what she wanted to say and she seemed to finally make up her mind. Sasha realized how long in silence he had been sitting which in reality was not a rarity, but the fact that he waited with any sort of patients was rare as he waited for the new Alexandria to begin speaking again. She seemed to be extremely taken off guard when he asked if she was one of the wolf people. Lexie seemed to finally find her voice after her shock and into seriousness when she spoke, "I am one of them, and that was what I was about to tell you, but how do you know about us?" Lexie studied Sasha for several moments and seemed become wrapped up in her own thoughts.
Sasha was then left to his own thoughts as he wondered what he should tell this new Alexandria. If she was one of the wolf people that he had heard about in tales through the years then it was more likely then not that Lexie knew stories about whatever he was. Sasha also wanted to know if he would have any relations to the wolves here in Washington. In all his time as what he was Sasha had never told another sole what or who he was. He had remained in seclusion as much as he could and Sasha never saw much need to change his habits except for now when Lexie asked.
She asked for information that was next to impossible for sharing in Sasha’s mind, but what had Sasha rattled the most was that he wanted to tell her. Sasha wanted to explain who he was and what sort of monster he was, and for some reason a part of him feared what her rejection could be like if she did not want him. It upset Sasha that he even cared what the new Alexandria would think of him. Before Sasha took his chance to explain his limited understanding of the wolf people, Lexie spoke. "I am from the wolf people as you put it, but we are not truely wolves. At least not in the since of werewolves. We are more like shapeshifter. It is something that it in our genes and is passed down through the generations."
The further that Lexie explained her kind the more disappointed that Sasha became. He knew that what Lexie was and the monster that he was would never be the same thing. Yes they took the same forms but what Sasha had been thrown into was hardly a thing of generations, or family breeding. Lexie then offered to show him, but Sasha shook his head, “That won’t be needed. I already know what wolves look like.” Lexie then sat back in silence and watched Sasha, waiting for his reaction. Sasha realized that it was his turn to speak, and offer an explanation or questions. He hated to talk and yet Sasha wanted to explain his disappointment at learning what Lexie was exactly.
True to his form Sasha decided to not beat around the bush and figured that Lexie was mature enough to know the truth. “I know what wolves look like, because I am one. Not the same sort that you just explained, but more like what I think an actual werewolf is.” Sasha decided he would not go into detail about his change or how it had all happened, even if Lexie asked, that information was still too raw for Sasha to face.

Lexi told Sasha the truth about herself. She was amazed at how easily it came out. She had spent the last thirty years protecting her tribes secret. Now in a matter of minutes she had meet her perfect mate, imprinted, and told him the truth about her. She had never discussed her fate with anyone outside of her tribe and the Cullen Family. She wondered how Jacob would react to her imprinting on someone outside of the tribe.
Lexi knew that she still had a lot to explain to Sasha about her, the pack and imprinting. Lexi was thinking through all the things to tell him, when he spoke again. He said that he did not want to see her because he knew what a wolf looked like. That confused her, how could he possibly know what they looked like? He was not from the tribe and he was not a Cullen. So the only way that she could even think of was rumors from the Volturi, but he was not a vampire. She was just about to ask him, when he spoke again. As if reading her mind, he said that he knew what wolves looked like because he was one, but not like her. He was a true werewolf. She could not have heard him correctly, she mind raced to process the information. Did he just say that he was a werewolf, like one of the children of the moon?
How the hell could she have imprinted on the only werewolf left and what was the pack going to say? Lexi was stunned beyond words for a moment. When she finally regained control of herself, she looked at Sasha with knowledge in her eyes. ”You are a child of the moon!” She said in almost a whisper. She used the term that Edward had used all those years ago in that clearing in the mountains, not far from where they were now. Lexi knew that this was not good. Edward and Jacob were going to be pissed with her, but she could not control what had happened, and Jacob would never break pack rules, right? She thought to herself.
Lexi jumped to her feet and began to pace, while she thought. She knew what this would mean to the tribe and the Cullen Family. Werewolves were the sworn enemies of all vampires. ”How the hell did these happen? I imprinted on a child of the moon. I can’t believe this. I thought that all werewolves were extinct.” She ranted as she paced. She had almost forgotten herself and Sasha. She felt the heat roll down her back and knew what was about to happen, but it was too late. In that instance she phased into her wolf form in front of him. Her clothes where nothing but shreds in the air now. It had been years since she had lost her temper and phased like that. Just great. She thought as she stood there looking at him.
She was glad that she still carried extra clothes with her. She turned to go to her truck and then looked back at him, hoping he would realize that she wanted him to follow her. When she got to the truck she phased back and stood there nude, as she retrieved her clothes from the truck and got dressed again. Finally she turned to him and spoke in a calm tone. ”I am sorry for that. It is not a good idea for me to loose my temper like that.” She turned back to face him then with love in her eyes. She knew that she was going to have to take him to Jacob. ”We have much to talk about, but soon I am going to have to take you to my pack leader. You will be safe because of me. I will explain everything before we go.” She said to him in the most tender of voices. She did not want to scare him anymore than she already had from that display of hers.

Sasha patiently waited in silence; something that was not in his being to do. He then began to wonder what made Lexi the way that she was. He began to find himself extremely curious about who she was and what Lexi did with her life. Sasha tried to convince himself that he was caring about trivial things but he still could not help from not wondering. He wanted to know more about the woman in front of him. Sasha saw the confusion on Lexi’s face as he explained who he was. After the words left his mouth Sasha would give her a few seconds to process before she would try to attack. Something that Sasha knew would be painful and would be frustrating to him.
He had no qualms fighting a woman, but Sasha had a pull from some unknown place inside that wanted him to protect her. Sasha wanted to take care of a woman that he had never met before that moment and it had him rattled. Sasha found himself waiting in silence as he mentally counted down the time before Lexi would go into attack mode. He was taken back when Lexi seemed to exclaim in a whisper, “You are a child of the moon!” Sasha frowned at the phrase she used and gave a slight shrug, “Given I change with the moon I believe the name fits.” He watched as she seemed to slip back into her thoughts and Sasha felt himself go into a defense mode.
Lexi seemed to take longer then Sasha expected to attack him, but Sasha refused to get his hopes up that she would not come after him. ‘This is it.’ Sasha thought to himself as Lexi jumped to her feet. Sasha got to his feet as well and turned to his side so that there would be less of a target for her to attack. He watched as Lexi then seemed to find herself caught up in what she was saying as she rambled along. “How the hell did these happen? I imprinted on a child of the moon. I can’t believe this. I thought that all werewolves were extinct.” It was almost amusing to Sasha the way she was so caught up in herself that she had forgotten him. Sasha relaxed his stance slightly but continued to watch Lexi for any change that there could be. He listened and heard a pair of terms that he was not familiar with, imprinting, and what Lexi had called him earlier, child of the moon. Sasha had every intention of asking Lexi what they meant but he had a feeling that she needed to pace and vent more before she would be lucid enough to answer his questions.
Sasha had been on the planet for a thousand years and yet he was still taken back by what appeared in front of him. Lexi had disappeared before his eyes and had been replaced by a wolf. Sasha and Lexi found themselves in a staring contest with one another as Sasha slipped into a dream world. He blinked several times and realized the beauty in front of him could never be like what he was on a full moon. Sasha once again found himself disappointed that he raised his hopes, but he found himself light hearted because he at least was not the only non-human creature in the world. The wolf form of Lexi turned to walk to the truck and glanced back to Sasha, indicating that he was suppose to follow. Sasha took a few steps but left enough space for a reaction time if the wolf Lexi decided to attack. He relaxed with disappointment once again as Lexi took human form.
Her ability to change into a wolf was controllable another place where they yet again differed. Sasha’s heart then began to race in his chest as he saw the look that Lexi was now giving him. It was a look that he could remember well from his old life, and one that he did not want to return. He however felt the pull and he could feel his heart begin to race faster the closer that he watched Lexi. Sasha realized that she had said something about loosing her temper being a bad thing. He found himself more concerned with the shape that her lips made when she spoke rather than the words Lexi was saying.
Sasha barely paid attention as Lexi continued speaking as he crossed the rest of the distance between them. He had no idea what had taken possession of his body at that moment but he did not care. All Sasha cared about right then was getting to Lexi, and a few long seconds later he had reached his target. He realized that he was probably going to get an ass kicking for what he was about to do but he did not care. Sasha pinned Lexi against her truck with his body and he placed one hand on her waist and one on the side of her face. He paused for a second before he leaned in and took control of Lexi’s lips with his own. Sasha pulled back a few moments later and slid his hand down from her face to rest at the base of her neck. He slowly brushed his thumb along her jaw line, left his hand on her waist, and finally rested his forehead against Lexi’s.

Lexi had just finished talking and only barely finished dressing again, when Sasha pinned her to her truck. She was taken by suprise, but she knew that it was not an act of aggression. She had been waiting for this moment since she first saw him. She knew that the pull that they were both filling would win out over everthing else, and she was waiting for it. She knew what was going on with her feeling so for her it was easy to deal with, but she knew that Sashe would be struggling, because his was not a wolf or even a member of her tribe. He would have to deal with the feelings that he was feeling for her in a different way than she did.
When he kissed her, she melted into his arms and kissed him back. She knew that this would probably confuse him, for she was sure that he was expecting her to attack him, after he told her what he was. She had not missed the deffinsive posture that he had taken before she phased but she had not let him know that she saw. She knew that it was natural for him to feel that way. When he pulled away from her and slid his hand down her neck, she felt a full body shiver run through her, but she knew that it was not the same as the shiver before she phased. This was one of pleasure. Lexi had never been kissed like that and her had waited almost fifty years for that kiss. Lexi knew that she was home in Sasha's arms and she would do anything to protect him. She knew who he was and knew that it was going to mean she was going to have to talk to Jake and the Cullen family about him, but she did not care. She knew that since she had imprinted on him there was nothing that they could do to him.
When he put his forehead to hers, she knew that she was going to have to talk to him more about imprinting, because she was sure that he did not understand. She rested one of her hands against his hips and lightly touched his face with the other one. "I am guessing that you are confused by the feelings that you are feeling towards me, and you are wondering why I am not attacking you for your actions." She said in a very sweet and loving tone to him. She wanted to comfort him and not scare him anymore than he may already be. She knew all the stories about imprinting and had seen it in the others of her pack, but she had never felt it and was surprized by the intenity of it, herself. She knew that she would have to explain it to him, but she was waiting for him to ask in his own time. She was not goint to rush him into anything.
She slowly moved her hands from around him and moved away from the truck. She knew her own strength and knew that if she had not wanted him close to her, she could have fought him. Though she was not sure if she could win in human form, but she was sure that she could in wolf form, as he could not phase, except on full moon. Lexi did not want to think about him that way though, so she focused on the task at hand. She knew that he would have questions and she was going to answer them to the best of her abilities. "I am sure that you have questions and I am happy to answer them for you." She said to him again in the calm and sweet voice of hers.

Sasha could feel Lexi’s shock as he pinned her against the truck, what was more was his own initial surprise that she did not push him away. He was then curious for a second whether or not she had some of the same feelings that he had at the moment. Sasha was intrigued by the fact that once he began kissing her, Lexi melted into his arms and began to kiss him back. He smirked to himself when he pulled away and he could feel a shiver run through Lexi. Sasha was glad to know that he had not completely lost his touch. Suddenly he could feel an intense calm within Lexi, as if something had been decided and it was something that she would know for the rest of her life. Sasha wondered why he felt so peaceful and why Lexi seemed to be so calm after that kiss. Fire shot through Sasha’s body as Lexi put a hand on his hip, and one on the side of his face.
"I am guessing that you are confused by the feelings that you are feeling towards me, and you are wondering why I am not attacking you for your actions." Sasha smirked a little and gave a small nod to indicated that he was curious. He was realizing another trait within himself, when Sasha saw something that he wanted he would go for it. Sasha was never one for holding back once he had fully dedicated himself to someone or something, and Lexi was quickly working her way to being on that list. Lexi dropped her hands from where they had been resting the last few moments, time that was not long enough in Sasha’s opinion. Sasha was about to pin Lexi back against the truck and see how much she would allow him to get away with when Lexi began speaking.
Sasha took a step back for his own self control as he thought for a moment about the questions that he wanted answers to. Lexi seemed more then willing to tell him anything that he wished to know. Sasha thought for a moment longer and remembered Lexi’s previous ranting, “You called me a child of the moon a few moments ago, what does that mean? Also you mentioned something called imprinting, I have not heard that word before either.”

Lexi could see the curiosity in Sasha’s eyes. She watched as he took a step back away from her and knew the questions were coming. She braced her the onslaught of questions that he must have for her. She would have to explain everything about the tribe and the Cullen’s to him, as well as their way of life in Forks. She knew that something’s would be harder to explain than others.
She was surprised by his first two questions but she was more than willing to answer them. ”You called me a child of the moon a few moments ago, what does that mean?” She laughed at herself for that one. In her rant she had not even realized that she had used the term that the vampires did. ”T am sorry for that, I did not realize that I used that term.” She said as she looked up at him. ”That is what the vampires call true werewolves, because they change with the moon.” She said realizing that she was in a round about way telling him that she knew vampires enough to know their terminology. She was sure that would cause more questions from him, but she would answer them for him. ”Also you mentioned something called imprinting, I have not heard that word before either.” She knew that imprinting was going to be difficult to explain but she would do her best. ”Imprinting is the term my pack used for when we find our mates. It is like we are drawn to each other instantly. That is why we are both feeling what we are. I imprinted on you when our eyes met. It is sort of like love at first sight only it is much deeper than that.” She said to him in a rather shy voice. She had never tried to explain imprinting before. ”It is also the reason that I can tell you everything about me and the pack.” She said as an after thought.
She had answered both the questions that he had asked though she was sure he would have more. She knew that at some point they would have to figure out how to deal with the pack and the Cullen’s over what he was. Lexi knew that her imprinting would protect him, but she was sure that the others would be upset. She almost wished they could stay in the woods forever. She wanted nothing more than to be in his arms again. Though she knew they needed to talk, that was not what was on her mind.

Sasha realized that he and Lexi were having a bit of a staring contest and it was making it hard for Sasha to focus. He was never much one for conversation, and there were a list of other things that he would rather do at the moment, but he realized that they needed to speak. Lexi apologized for calling Sasha a name that he was not familiar with, which led him to believe that it was a negative term. Lexi began to explain where the term had come from and he nodded at the simple explanation. Sasha could feel himself tense up when he went back over Lexi’s explanation. He looked at her with a frown that he knew was evident, “Blood drinkers live here?”
Sasha had extremely limited interaction with the primarily nocturnal creatures, and those instances had been far from positive. He was not relishing the idea of having to face their kind again. Perhaps it would be different this time, because Lexi sounded as if she were at least on speaking terms with the blood drinkers. Sasha did not want to waste the time of getting his hopes up, but something deep inside said that he would be able to trust whatever Lexi told him. Sasha noticed that Lexi seemed to be slightly hesitant about something and he realized that it had been due to his second question. “Imprinting is the term my pack used for when we find our mates. It is like we are drawn to each other instantly. That is why we are both feeling what we are. I imprinted on you when our eyes met. It is sort of like love at first sight only it is much deeper than that.”
Sasha found himself pacing for a few moments as he tried to process through what had just been explained to him. He realized that it explained why he felt the way that he did, and coupled with his attitude; that explained the result of them peeling away from one another. He stopped in his pacing and turned back to Lexi so that he would be able to focus on all of her answer. “Tell me everything that you can.”

Lexi watched Sasha's expression as she talked and she could see the surprise and annoyance in his eyes asshe mentioned that there were vampires in the ares. She knew that she was going to have to explainabout the Cullen's. She could tell that Sasha had met other vampires and she was certain that they were the red eyed cold ones. When he responded to her, she knew that she was correct. "Yes, there are vampires in Folks, but they are not like any others that you have ever met. They do not hunt humans. They survive off the blood of animals." She said to him, hoping that would help to calm him. "We have an treaty with them, that allows us all to live peacefully. In fact, my pack leader is married to one of them." She told him to show him that they trusted the vampire's completely. she was not goig to mention that they were the Royal family of the vampire race, that was their secret to tell, not hers. "They are the Cullen family and they are very nice. I am sure that they will be around later today." She said as she looked up at the sky. "It looks like it will be a normal overcast day." She was sure that she would see at least one of them throughout the day.
Lexi was not sure what to tell him about her pack when he told her to tell him everything. "I am not sure what else to to tell you, that I have not already told you." She said to him. she had already explained about the pack to him. "We all coexist in Folks in harmony and we work with the Cullen's to protect the human's for Forks as well as each other. I guess you could say that we are one big family, since our leader is married to one of the Cullen's. Though I should mention that she is only half vampire. Her mother was still human when she conceived Nessie."[/b[ Lexi said hoping that would not cause anymore trouble. She was not sure how to explain about Nessie with out going into the long history of the Cullen family and the tribe, but she would do that if he wanted to know the whole story. "I can tell you the whole story, if you want. Though it is a long story." Lexi said to him. She would give him the option before she told him that story.
Lexi wanted to tell him the story, but at the same time she didn't. Lexi wanted to be in his arms and not talking about the past for a while. She knew that he was the one that she could give everything to. Lexi had waited almost fifty years to imprint and now she did not want to talk about things that they had forever to talk about. She had other things on her mind, but she did not want to move to fast and risk scaring him, with her passion. She sat back down on the ground close to her truck and waited from him to process everything that she had just told him.
