As Leah waited for Jordan, she felt reminded of times when she would force the guys to wait for her after she phased back and changed into clothes because she didn't want them to see her. It was always embarrassing to be the only female in the pack. Not only embarrassing, but humiliating at the same time, so she understood exactly what Jordan was feeling right now. When Jordan finally came back a while later and apologized for taking so long, Leah chuckled a little. "It's no problem at all," she reassured her. "Believe me, I used to put the guys through hell waiting for me to change into clothes because I was the only girl."
Hearing Jordan offer her a ride back to her house, Leah knew it was probably the safest thing anyways since Jordan was a brand new wolf to this life. "Yeah, my house actually isn't far from here but I can ride with you and give you directions," she said, smiling a little at Jordan's mention of finding trouble. "And trust me...you aren't the only one around here that has a knack for finding trouble." Leah smirked and thought of her brother, realizing that he and Jordan would probably get along rather well since Seth liked to go find trouble, but never had a problem in doing so because trouble would usually find him first.

Jordan returned the smile. “Well we better get back to your place before any trouble finds us.” Jordan walked to her car, with Leah following shortly behind her. Unlocking the car she turned back to Leah “Please excuse the mess, it’s hard to be organized when you’re moving everything in a car. I pretty sure there is nothing in the front seat, if there is I can find a spot for it.” Jordan got in and started the car up, she threw some random objects in the back seat with the rest of the boxes so Leah would have more leg room. Looking outside of her windshield she noticed how big and beautiful the moon was. Jordan wished she was not as out of it as she was, because part of her wanted to be phased again running around the forest. Sometimes she would often be almost called back into her wolf state, she had always been connected with nature all her life, and she just supposed that phasing for her was sometimes like a form of meditation. She wondered how she would view phasing now that she actually had a responsibility other than aimlessly running around.
Once Leah was in the passenger’s seat, Jordan turned and waited for Leah to give her directions. Jordan’s mind began to trail off as she began thinking about what it would be like fighting vampires. In a way she short of felt like a superhero, it was not like everyone had the power to phase. Jordan was very entertained by her vivid imagination. She began to wonder what the others looked like, in their human and wolf forms. She thought about how long it would take her to learn the ropes of her new life she was just now starting. Jordan peeled out of the woods and began driving to Leah’s house listening very carefully to every direction Leah rattled off.

Leah smiled as she walked over to Jordan's car with her. As she apologized for the mess, Leah couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, don't worry about the mess...I've lived with a perpetual teenaged brother and been around the pack boys for almost thirty years, so mess is something I'm accustomed to." Her laugh rang out into the night air as she got into the car. As Jordan started it up, she thought of how long it had been since she had actually been in a car. The last time she remembered was a few months ago when she had taken a much needed trip to the store for some supplies in Seattle. Other than that, she either walked or ran everywhere she went.
"My house is literally just down the road," she said. "It's the second to last one on the left with the green roof and small brick well out front." Leah momentarily thought back to when her father had built that well when she was just even years old. It was something her mother, Sue, had always wanted because it looked nice out front and her father had always been happy to oblige anything her mother wanted because he loved her so much. Staring out the window, she thought of how much she missed them right then, but brushed that thought away.
