Alice walked into the clearing, bleeding into a memory as she went. It was years ago, before Bella was turned and joined the family. They were all playing baseball together in this very clearing. It was one of the first times that Bella had come to visit the family, right after she and Edward had started dating. In this very clearing is where they met their first true threat. James, Victoria, and Laurent, the nomadic vampires. It was James and Victoria that became the true threat. Standing in this place now seemed weird as visions of the past fluttered across her mind. James had tried to kill Bella, who was now Alice's best friend and sister. But now, now they were facing a whole new kind of threat that could destroy their entire family. However, they had other vampires that were here to help their family defeat the threat that was now standing in front of them.
Pacing back and forth, Alice waited for the rest of her family to arrive in addition to those who were going to help them. She had seen another vision of the red-headed woman. There was still no definite decision that she had made as far as an attack, but Alice knew that she was definitely going to attack in the very near future. She could only hope that there would be a decision made soon so she could warn her family. For now, she remained as in the dark as the rest of them.

Raine had been told that all the vampires would meet up at the baseball clearing, and after what Maden had told her it was about a child of the moon. The name made it shiver down her spine. She had desided to go up to the mountains and bring Maden with her to the meeting. She had convinced him to go with her, and he was temporarely staying at hers and Arkans house. " Arkan my love, me and Maden are going now, please dont be late, its really important." Raine shouted to her husbond who was probably taking a shower or something like that. She grabbed Maden by the hand and they ran to the baseball clearing together where they saw Alice. Raine told Maden to stay in one end of the field as Raine ran over to Alice. " Hello Alice, ive been told what all this is about, and ive convinced Maden to not join in the fight, he has agreed to stay on our lands around the mansion and my house while the fight is going on." Raine told Alice and waited for the rest to come. it had been hard to convince Maden, but he had finally agreed to do as she told him to.

Maden had been in the mountains when Raine showed up and talked to him. She had convinced him to go with her back home. Now he was standing in her house waiting for her to get ready. He had slept on her couch while he had been there, and his blankets were nice and tidy in the end of it now. Then she was ready and shouted for Arkan and they were out of the door. they ran to the baseball clearing, which was a place he had never been before. He stood in the end of the field when he saw Alice, and quickly agreed to stay in this end of the field when Raine told him to. He had agreed to not join the fight, but he had insisted on going to this socalled meeting for the vampires. He stood there and watched Raine as she scouted out in the forest. He knew she was looking for Arkan, and knew she was lonly without him. But he also knew they werent spending much quality time together lately. Maden sighed and sat down on the ground.

Edward left the cottage and headed to the Baseball clearing to meet with the family and the rest of those that were going to help in the fight against the werewolves. He was not sure who all was going to show up. He knew that there were several friends of their family that was in the area. As he ran he thought about all the different threats that his family had faced over the years and knew that this would be their most diffecult.
He entered the field from the west and saw that Alice, Raine, and Maden were already there. He walked up to them. "I see that we are the first to arrive. I wonder how long it will take for the rest to show up." He said as he thought about something else and turned to his sister. "Alice, can you see who all will show up?" He asked her. He knew that this was not going to be an easy fight and they were going to need all the help that they could get.

Rosalie was not thrilled about having to meet at the baseball clearing to discuss the upcoming fight. She knew that her family had been in enough fight, but that was part of their duty to defend from enemies. Rose ran through the woods to the field and walk up to the others that were already there. She could see that most of her family had not arrived yet and never had their friends. She wondered how many of their friends would show up. She had called all that she knew.
Rosalie saw her son there in the field and smiled. She walked up to him and threw her arms around him. She loved her son and hated that he was upset. She was not going to let anything happen to him. "Hey there my darling. I have missed you so much. You need to come home and see your mother more. You are growing up so fast." She whispered to only hims as she hugged him. Rose knew that Maden was not happy about not being able to fit.

Jasper finished draining the deer and stood cleaning the edges of his mouth. He then realized it would be the time that those who wished to fight the children of the moon would be meeting. Jasper sighed to himself wondering how the meeting would go and how much help they would be receiving. As Jasper ran to the old baseball field memories trickled in of the life before children of the moon, and before life had gotten so complicated.
Jasper got to the field in time to see that Alice had arrived as had Maden, Raine and Edward. He walked up to the three that were gathered together sliding his hands casually into his pockets. “Do we know who else to expect beside the family?” He knew they needed all the help that they could take and it would make things easier to plan if they knew how many they would have helping them.

Ryssa grinned sliding her pointless sunglasses down on her face as she walked down the street. She had been in Seattle lately getting away from the Cullen drama. Plus she had needed to feed, it had been too long in her opinion since she had drunk human blood. The diet of the Cullen family bothered her to no end but she had at least been respectful of it. A man caught Ryssa’s attention and she casually pushed her sunglasses back to rest on her head. He came over drunkenly stumbling and trying to woo Ryssa with lies about who and what sort of guy he was.
Ryssa however played along and knew that she had him trapped with her smile and a gentle nod of her head towards a dark closed off alley. She pushed him back against the wall brushing her hair over one shoulder as she closed the distance between them. Ryssa smirked as she ran a hand along the man’s side to sink a hand in his hair. “You’re kind of cold.”
Ryssa’s smirk grew, “You have no idea.” She stood on her toes and brushed her lips over his neck with a couple of kisses before sinking her fangs into the man’s neck. A short time later Ryssa walked out of the alley with a pleased smile settling her glasses back over her face to cover her bright red eyes. She looked down at her phone as it rang to see a message from Nathaniel reminding her of the meeting and that he would be there in a few moments.
Ryssa groaned to herself and made her way to Forks and the field where the other vampires would gather. She walked into the clearing to see a small group of vampires, most of which Ryssa knew. Ryssa pushed her sunglasses back on her face to rest on the top of her head, knowing she did not need to hide her eye color from other vampires. “Mr. England is going to be here soon.”

Post by Emmett Cullen on Dec 30, 2009 20:52:54 GMT -5
Emmett was impatient to get to the old baseball clearing. The vampires would be meeting to discuss the battle plans against the Children of the Moon. Which meant that they were one step closer to the big fight, something that Emmett had been waiting for. Normally Emmett would have waited for Rosalie to see if she would run with him, but Emmett couldn’t wait any longer. He left the house running to the baseball field, and once he was close enough he smelled that several vampires were there, including his son. Emmett smiled and walked over to Maden.
“Hey how are you holding up?” Emmett ruffled Maden’s hair knowing that it was likely to annoy his son. He smiled at his son and then wondered for a moment what he was doing at the meeting, but realized that Maden had every right to be there; whether he was fighting or not. Emmett looked across the clearing to see that Alice, Edward, and Raine were standing with a red head vampire that he did not recognize.
If her hair had been curlier and bigger then the female vampire could have been mistaken for Victoria. A vampire that their family had taken care of a long time ago. “Hey Maden do you know her?”

Raine waited for the others to arrive at the baseball clearing when Edward showed up. "Yeah we are the first here, hello Edward, i dont know if Arkan is gonna show up, but i hope that he does." Raine greeted Edward as he came over to her and Alice. Raine hoped that Arkan would show up, but she also knew that he had never fought anything in his life, and that might be a problem for him. Raine knew she would have to talk to the other men to ask them for help in training Arkans fighting skills. Then Raine saw something blonde and looked towards Maden who was in the other end of the field, and saw that Rosalie had arrived and hugged a quite annoyed Maden. Raine chuckled to herself and watched as Emmett then showed up, ruffling Madens hair to his amusement it looked like. " Hey there bear guy, when are we gonna have a nice wrestling match again?" Raine yelled to Emmett and laughed. Emmett had been the one Cullen to spend most time with Raine, and they had had alot of fun. Raine saw Madens annoyance and waved him to come to her. He easily got annyoed when his parents treated him like a kid, and Raine agreed with him in that point. Emmett and Rosalie did treat him like a little kid, not like the young man he was now, but Raine wasnt going to say that to them, they needed to see it for themselves.

Maden watched as Edward showed up and walked over to Raine and Alice. Then he suddenly had his mother around him, giving him a big hug and saying that she missed him. "Mom, ive only been away a few days, Raine picked me up in the mountains the day after i went up there, and ive been staying at her and Arkans house. She convinced me not to fight, but told me to come with her to this meeting, so i did. I am home mom, im on Cullen grounds all the time, tho im staying at Raines house." Maden told her and hugged her back, trying to make her stop worrying so much, he was allmost fully grown now. Then Maden saw Jasper show up and join Raine, Alice and Edward. Maden was watching the group in the other end of the baseball clearing when his dad showed up and ruffled his hair. Maden growled at him and smiled. " You know if you keep doing that, im gonna cut off all my hair and go bold, and im holding up just fine." Maden said to his dad. His dad then asked him if he knew the red haired vampire that had just shown up and Maden looked at her for a while. " No, but i think her name is Rissa or Ryssa or something, she is with the vampire named Nathaniel i think. Raine talked about them once, but she dont know them either." Maden answered and saw Raine wave him over. He gave a sigh of relief and got out of his mothers grip and ran across the field and over to Raine. " Ray, i told mom that ive been staying at your place, and that i will be for a little longer if thats okay with you." Maden said to Raine and looked hopefully at her.

Alice held her breath and continued pacing the ground back and forth as others began to arrive, wringing her hands lightly. She barely paid attention to those gathering as her thoughts were consumed by her visions, which were becoming increasingly stronger every time. It was difficult to decipher what was actually going to happen with every decision changing within hours or minutes of each other. Whoever the child of the moon was, the red-haired woman, was intelligent enough to know that she could not decide anything indefinitely...either that or she was entirely lucky to not be decisive because it confused her powers to no end, frustrating Alice beyond measure.
When she came out of another vision, many had already gathered and she was expecting more. "Bella, Esme, and Nathaniel should be here soon," she commented to no one in particular. This meeting was going to be crucial in deciding how they handled the threat facing their family and to decide game plans. Looking in Jasper's direction, she knew that his knowledge would be among the most valuable that anyone had to offer in light of the situation they were facing could end up in war. Her feelings were resolved as another vision hit her of the red-haired woman, who was deciding when and where to attack the family. She was determined to eliminate this threat and keep things safe for everyone involved.

Post by Elena Dayton on Jan 2, 2010 16:59:32 GMT -5
It had been a few days since Jordan, Elena and Candice had talked at the bar about the child of the moon. Elena had been getting extremely anxious about the whole situation and it seemed everywhere she went she was on high alert. She had been over at Candice place several times making sure she was still taking things well. She had not heard from Ashlan yet and Elena knew that she was taking that very hard. Elena had decided to go walking in the woods, and just have a heart to heart with Candice because she figured that she would need the company. Picking up her cell phone Elena dialed Candice’s number and got a hold of her. “Hello?”. “Hello Candice, this is Elena. Do you want to meet me in a few minutes? I thought we would go for a walk for a bit. Maybe we can hunt later. It’s been a while.” She waited for Candice to reply. “Sure why not, it would not hurt to get a little fresh air and blood.” Elena smiled. “See you soon.” It had not even been twenty minutes since the two of them had been walking together that they heard some voices in the distance. “ lets go check it out.” Elena said motioning to Candice who was following closely behind her. when they reached the meadow they saw the Cullen’s and a few other vampires gathered together. “ what do you think is going on?” asked Candice. “ I have a strong feeling its about what been happening lately in forks.” Elena said slowly. The two of them approached the group and vampires hoping maybe they would not mind.

Candice missed her brother Ashlan like crazy, knowing that things were about to get worse in Forks only made her more anxious. She had been checking the mail and voicemail like crazy for the last couple of days with no luck at all. Candice was relieved that Elena was smart enough to keep Candice distracted from her family troubles. Not only that, but she had someone to go to if she needed anything at all.
Candice glanced around the meadow at the other vampires. A shiver was sent down her spine as she thought about the night she had seen the boy in the woods. Candice knew too well that this meeting was probably the result of the news of forks new threat. Just then, she began to wish that her brother was there with her to claim her down. “Can we be of some assistance?” Elena said once they got closer to the others. “We understand if we can’t help, we don’t mean to interrupt things.” Candice quickly added as she looked at Alice.

Post by Bella Cullen on Jan 3, 2010 12:12:41 GMT -5
Bella stood in her closet, staring off into such a space that she wasn’t entirely sure how much time had passed exactly. She shook her head to snap out of it and quickly changed. She was hesitant about going to the clearing, and much rather would have had everyone come to the house. At the same time she understood that the clearing was the best place to have this meeting of sorts. What she could remember of the first time of the clearing flashed into her mind, and she took a deep breath. The first time she had been there had been when Victoria and her flame-red hair came into her life and began to haunt her in her dreams, and later in her life. Now they were going to face another enemy whose hair held the same shade. Bella ran towards the clearing and was there before she was able to sort out her thoughts. She smiled, seeing most of her family there, and a few others whose presence comforted her.
Bella slowed her pace and walked over to her family, standing on her toes to kiss Edwards’ cheek quickly before she looked back to them. ‘ Sorry, I wasn’t here sooner,’. Bella didn’t want to admit that her lateness was a sign of being scared of what was to come; she knew that they all needed to appear strong. She looked around and was glad that it seemed like they hadn’t gotten into any deep discussion as far as what to do with their situation. Bella placed some of her hair behind her ear before she crossed her arms over her stomach and looked back over the group.

(The computer ate my last post for Arkan, so I am going to try again.)
Arkan had been out hunting and needed to clean up before the big meeting with the rest of the Cullen's and their friends. Arkan was in the shower though the knew that as a vampire, he really did not need to shower. He still like to take them. He heard Raine call to him and she and Maden were leaving for the meeting. "Okay love, I will be there as soon as I can." He sayed back to her, knowing that she would hear him. He finished quickly and got dressed. He know that he would not be that far behind her.
Arkan arrived at the baseball clearing and looked around that those that were already there. He could tell that most of the Cullen's and a few other's were there, but not everyone had arrived yet. He walked up to his wife and put his arm around her. "Sorry that I was not ready to leave, when you were." He said to her as his kissed the top of her head. He was glad that they were with the Cullen's, he had not been able to spend much time with his extended family as of late. He was going to try to be around more often from now on though. He knew that Raine did not like him being gone so much.
