Bridget paced in front of the library in the small town of Forks as she began to fight with herself in her head. This is what you get, She thought to herself as she put her hands on her hips. Stupid, pointless, unreasonable, She began to ramble off in her head, but it came to the point where she didn't know if she was describing herself or if she was taking her anger out on Christian in her thoughts. She narrowed her eyebrows as she stopped. Bridget shook her head as she changed her mind, deciding that Christian wasn't going to show up. She mentally smacked herself upside the head for not preparing herself for that as she walked back towards the car that she had actually bought for today. Bridget stopped walking halfway between the car and the library before she put her hands on her hips again. Never in her life had she been one to take a risk on another person, but she felt in her soul, or..whatever it was that inspired her, that she needed to wait for him. He was someone she could wait for. Which was ridiculous to Bridget seeing as they could hardly stand one another. Bridget tilted her head back out of frustration and sighed before she turned back around to walk towards the front of the library building and hesitated in front of a bench before she sat down. It had been a few days since Christian had run into Bridget in Seattle. He had, had more then enough time to think over what had happened in the time that they had known each other. Christian realized that whe he had told Bridget he spent more time around her then he did most others, that was not an overstatement. He could also barely remember the last time he had agreed in advance to meet someone; it had easily been at least a decade. Christian was also fairly certain that Bridget would not even show, and he was mentally preparing himself for that future disappointment as he walked to where he said that he would be. What he felt was moronic about the whole situation was the fact that he was still going when he was certain that Bridget would not be there. Christian then felt a familiar power source and was stunned as he watched Bridget to pace back and forth. He watched quietly as she seemed to be deciding what to do and began to make her way towards a car. Christian was then further amazed that instead of leaving Bridget turned back around and finally placed herself on a bench outside the library. He was mentally calculating Bridget’s reasons for coming as he finally got the sense to walk over. With a calmness that he did not necessarily feel, Christian approached Bridget saying, “Princess,” to get her attention Christian’s Outfit: media.photobucket.com/image/hugh%20dancy/camprockcutie01/Hugh_Dancy-3-Evening.jpg?o=22

Bridget began to chew at the bottom of her lip nervously as she began to question her mental sanity when she heard the satin smooth tone say ‘Princess’, in the voice that was beginning to become music to her ears. She looked up quickly, almost startled by his presence. She narrowed her eyebrows at him instinctively; almost questioning his reasoning for showing up at the library. Bridget realized how rude she must have looked and stood back to her feet, walking closer towards him. “ Hello Christian,” She smiled softly as she looked over at him. She licked the corner of her lips quickly as she scratched the back of her neck nervously, “I wasn’t sure if you were going to come, .. or if I was even going to come myself,” . Bridget gave a small cough as she dropped her hands in front of her, tightening her grip between her fingers. “ I know that you had said that you would be coming to the library in Forks. I was hoping you might let me take you somewhere else,” . Bridget cringed mentally as she realized that she said she had hoped for something. It was one thing that she knew that’s how she felt; but it was completely another to let someone else know how she had felt and allow herself to be vulnerable. Bridget gave a quick uncomfortable smile before she dropped her head, looking down at her hands in a manner that was seemingly trying to hard to be non chalant.

Watching Bridget’s reaction to Christian’s rather sudden presence caused him to wonder if she had heard him come over. Although he seemed to believe that he could not have surprised her too easily. Christian smirked slightly as Bridget watched him for a moment. He wondered whether or not she had actually expected him to show, and then Christian felt like an idiot for actually coming. Just as the thoughts began to rain down on him, Bridget’s voice cut through with extreme clarity, “Hello Christian.”
After a few nervous moments Bridget added, that she wasn’t sure if he would come; or if she was even going to come. Bridget then said that she had known that he was meaning to come to the library but that she wanted to take him somewhere else. Christian arched an eyebrow slightly at Bridget, wondering where she had in mind. He opened his mouth to reply with a snarky remark but Bridget flashed an uncomfortable smile before looking down. Christian did not take much time to think of the repercussions he stepped forward and gently tilted her chin up.
“Not meaning to sound any cockier then I already do, but I am a hell of a lot more interesting then staring at the ground.”

The initial reaction of Bridgets' chin being tilted upward was for her to want to back away, which is why it frustrated her that she remained perfectly still. She blinked a few times before she smiled , " More interesting? Yes. But as predictable? Definitely not," Bridget bit the the inside of her lip as she looked at him, doing her best to not look away since it seemed to perturb him. When she realized that he hadn't really answered her question, she decided she should do her best to explain, " I thought maybe we could go to the library in Seattle. I know you've probably read all of the books within it, just like the one here in Forks, but it would have a bit more options,". Bridget looked towards the car that she had purchased for today for a moment before she looked back up at Christian, " Unless you want to stay here, which is perfectly fine with me,". She considered the fact that even meeting at the library was a rare occurrence for her when it involved another person, let alone a male. Driving to Seattle would probably take a lot more trust than she was sure either of them had at this point. Bridget tilted her head to the side slightly as she studied him again, this time more so to watch his reactions than she was to observe how handsome he was. She brought her hands up from where they had been placed and crossed them over her stomach as she tried to calm herself.

Christian was surprised that Bridget did not try to lay him out with a punch or shove to get him away. Or at the very least try to step back from him; those things he was particularly glad she hadn’t done. Bridget blinked a couple of times before saying that he was not nearly as predicable as the ground. Christian edged back from Bridget then realizing how close they actually were to each other. It also did not escape Christian’s attention at how little he was bothered by the lack of distance. Bridget went on to explain her nearly forgotten question to go somewhere else rather then stay at the Forks library. " Unless you want to stay here, which is perfectly fine with me,". Christian thought for several moments deciding what to do. On the one hand he had the quick escape routes if they remained in Forks, if they drove to Seattle together this would be a little more difficult.
It would also require for them to be in a closer quarters and Christian did not want to acknowledge the feeling that part of him would not mind that in the least. It had been a few decades since he had felt that about someone. Christian finally nodded, “Let’s go to Seattle.”

Bridget bit the inside of her cheek as Christian took a few steps backwards. She was mentally kicking herself for wanting to reach out and bring him back towards her, and at the same time knew that it was for the best. She narrowed her eyebrows as he seemed to be thinking. Bridget had to have expected this, his hesitance to want to go with her. After all, for all she knew she was just a way to pass the time to him, a game that was losing its’ luster. She severely doubted that he had the same types of concerns that she did. She looked off to the side, her hands clinging tightly to her arms as they were folded. Bridget was beginning to become lost in her own thoughts of self-depreciation when Christian spoke, “Let’s go to Seattle,”. Bridget looked up at Christian, with her jaw only slightly dropped. “Okay,.. definitely not as predictable as the ground,” She spoke quietly as she took a deep breath, trying to not only calm her nerves but prepare herself for the fact that she would be in such a small space as the car with someone for the first time in decades. And she wasn’t being forced to. Bridget realized suddenly just how nervous she was as she looked up at him, “I..bought a car,” She motioned to the car for a moment before she looked back at Christian, wishing so badly that she didn’t want to spend so much time with him.
