Background/History: Alexandra Leigh Swan was born on December 23rd in Astoria, Oregon to Victoria and Andrew Swan. Andrew is the third cousin of the late Charlie Swan, the fourth cousin to Isabella Swan-Cullen. She is the oldest of fraternal twins--her twin is Veronica.
When Alexandra was young, she always wanted to travel around the world. Her parents unfortunately didn't have the money. So, Alexandra settled for visiting her cousin Charlie from time to time in Forks, Washington. She's never met her cousin, Bella, before.
Now, her parents are dead after a freak car accident. Since her cousin Charlie is dead, the next person to take care of Alexandra and her sister is her cousin, Bella. This is where she is headed.
