Jacob did not expect Ryssa to act the way she did about Jacob bleeding."It will stop in a minute don't have a shit fit. Jacob said calmly well more clam then he just was when he was yelling at himself."Well then if you don't want an apology maybe I should just go thank Nate and go apologize to Nissie for not being there again," Jacob squeezed his hand into a fist looked down it. It was almost fully healed and the blood was dry. When he turned toward the house he could see Nate standing there He gave Nate a look know he already just heard what he was speaking about and nodded in his direction to thank him. Exploding back into a wolf Jacob ran the rest of the way back to the cottage. He phased back just as quickly as he did moments before walking into the house and knocked on the door to the nursery . "Nessie honey it me unlock the door."

Ryssa knew that it probably wasn’t a good idea but at the moment she could not speak without taking in the air. Considering that Jacob’s blood was probably still in the air she glared at the wolf and flipped him off. ‘Shit fit my ass. You’d be just as upset if I ate in front of you, jack ass!’ Ryssa yelled in her head. Jacob started to talk about thanking Nathaniel instead and apologizing to his wife. She could almost feel herself frown to Jacob as she thought, ‘What the hell do you have to apologize for? Unless you were drinking with the other wolf blokes, you were doing your job.’
Ryssa watched as Jacob squeezed his injured hand and look towards the cottage. Jacob nodded to his house and Ryssa turned to see Nathaniel standing in the window and bow his head in return. Jacob turned into a wolf seconds later and bounded across the distance between were he was standing and his front door. Knowing what was about to happen Ryssa turned her back to the front of Jacob’s house as she heard him phase. “I am going to find that Crystal and see if she wants to get into another tussle.” Ryssa did not want to risk having to turn around to see if anyone had heard her but then she realized that with Nathaniel’s hearing he knew what her leaving was for.

Nodding at Nathaniel, Renesmee shut the door of the nursery and went across the room to sit down in the rocking chair with Alicia, who was still upset by the recent events. Her little body was rigid with cries and tense from all the fear in the atmosphere. Holding her little one close, she rocked her back and forth. "It's alright Alicia," she crooned softly. "Mommy is here and everything is alright. There's nothing to be afraid of now." Her soft and gentle voice seemed to work as Alicia began to quieten again and finally stopped crying altogether. Sighing in relief, Renesmee held her daughter and kissed her forehead gently.
A few minutes later, she heard a knock on the nursery door and Jacob's voice on the other side. Getting up and crossing the room with the baby in her arms, she opened it and immediately went to Jacob's arms. "I'm so glad you're home," she said, burying her face into his chest. Looking down at their daughter, she sighed before looking up into Jacob's eyes. "We're fine. Both of us are just fine," she immediately reassured him, knowing that he would be worried about their well-being.

Jacob was glad ot have Nessie in his arms and saying everything was okay. He was hating himself a lot more now for leaving them home alone sure the rest of the pack where out there so they should have been doing their job and not leaving it up to Nate and Ryssa to take on Crystal.The Pack was well trained by Jacob to take on a vampire everyone knew that when Will tried to kill Nessie, Noah and Jon ended up ripping him to pieces. Then to Jacob was careless he got bit by Will and is was not hom who save his wife it was Nate.
Jacob Stoked Nessie hair and a tear began ot run down his cheek he did not cry often and he knew Nessie would know what was before he even spoke. Swallowing Jacob reached up with he larger left hand and stoked Alicia face before placing his rough hand on the side of Nessie's soft unblemished skin. "Babe, I..I am sorry. I am sorry for not being here, I am sorry for being a useless husband and father.I am sorry for not training the pack good enough to pick up the scent of a vampire from a distance. I am sorry for never being her when you need me most I am a failure Ness you deserve better babe. Jacob hand never broken down this bad in a long time he was feeling weak.

Renesmee watched as Jacob stroked Alicia's cheek and then felt his other hand on her own face. She could tell that he was upset with himself for what had happened. "Baby, don't be sorry for any of those things," she said softly, shaking her head from side to side and then looking into his eyes. There was a lot of pain behind them that she could see. "Everyone has been so stressed out with patrolling so much lately, especially you. Sometimes things happen that you don't expect." Renesmee could hear her own voice constricting with a small sob. She hated seeing Jacob beat himself up over things like this. Placing her small hand comfortingly on the side of his warm face, she reached up and kissed his lips.
"There is no better husband or father than you," she said, looking down to Alicia before looking back at Jacob. "You have been running yourself ragged these past couple of weeks trying to keep us safe. No one can blame you for doing those things. Nathaniel and Ryssa were nearby and I knew to call them, so Alicia and I are fine." It had been a close call, but Renesmee knew that having her back up plan is what saved her life and the life of their little one. She knew that Jacob would continue to beat himself up over it unless she reassured him that they were fine and that nothing had happened.

Nathaniel watched as Jacob ran into the house and went straight to his family. He watched them for a few moments to make sure that they had settled in, and would be alright. Nate smiled at the small family after a few moments and knew that they would be alright. Now was as good as time as any to see himself out, and with a final smile to Nessie, Jacob, and their daughter he spoke, “I think that I will leave your family be.”
Nathaniel made his way to the door and remembered Jacob’s thanks. He turned over his shoulder and was intending on telling Jacob that he did not need to thank him, but Nathaniel heard the whispered apology. Nate closed his mouth as he could see the pain in Jacob. Knowing that feeling better then he would care to reflect on Nathaniel turned away from the family and quietly left their home. He once again vowed to himself as he walked away that he would help to destroy Crystal, or anyone that would threaten the young family.
